A little dice bag for a friend! I've used this pattern before and the squishy honeycomb brioche always works up so nice, even though it does my head in
Pattern: 'The Dice Bag of Minimal Magic' by Diana Keyson on ravelry
Yarn: Stash DK... I THINK the dark is 'Wendy with Wool Blueberry DK' and the light is Stylecraft Special DK in Magenta but I wouldn't stake my life on it 😅
Kitty paw gloves for my sister's girlfriend!! (She took the incredibly artsy photo) They turned out sooo cute, I've got to make some for myself eventually
Yarn: Stylecraft Special Aran in Pomegranate and Fondant
Pattern: I used the YouTube video 'Crochet Cat Paw Fingerless Gloves' by 'Kukkacrochet By Putri'
Made this adorable mushroom bucket bag for my mum! This yarn is absolutely gorgeous so it made for a special project <3
Yarn: BC Garn Hamelton Tweed 2 in Natural, Light Beige and Rust (maroon)
Pattern: 'Mushroom Bucket Bag Crochet Pattern' by BayouSelfCreations - slightly altered - I made the top a little bigger and left off the mushroom house details as they're a little cutesy for my mum's style
A little dice bag for my housemate! Because it needed to fit in her dice chest I made a different shape from usual - just two rectangles I could sew together to make it a flat shape. It turned out great!
Yarn:
Pattern: The texture is the 'hurdle' stitch if you're looking to recreate it! Then a row of YO eyelets near the top to pass the chord through
I made these cute table mats for my sister out of the same recycled yarn as her headphone covers! The yarn means they're studier/not as fluffy, so it doesn't feel as dangerous to put pots and plates on them lol
Pattern: flat circle and oval basic pattern I just have off the top of my head, improvised the edging!
Yarn: recycled DK (I think?) from AlterKnit Universe - I don't have the label 😭
A little drawstring bag as a Christmas gift for a friend! I used up the rest of the yarn from these mitts and the mossy stitch turned out so cool
Yarn: Patons Wool Blend Aran - Burgundy
Pattern: improv - a flat circle and then sides 😂 im not sure what the stitch I used is called but I alternated front and back post dc so it gave a moss pattern
A little bag and purse for my godsister for Christmas!!
Pattern: The bag is an altered version of the Super Simple DIY Crochet Bag by August Craft & Crochet, purse is just a tight moss stitch with the yarn held double to prevent any holes.
Yarn: Sadly, I’ve had this rainbow stuff sitting around in my stash for literally years and have no idea where it came from :,) and the white is scrap DK. Could be Stylecraft Special because that’s what most of my scarp acrylic is, but I’m not sure
Kitties for my good friend! :D The top two open out into little net bags but can also just be squishy charms, and I sent the little round kitties on keychains.
I sincerely tried to put magnets in their noses so they would kiss, but I couldn’t find any that were both small enough to fit inside and strong enough to work through two layers of crochet :,(
Pattern: Magic Pouch combined with Crochet Cat Pouch, and Mini Loaf Cat, both by ETM’s Studio on YouTube
Yarn: Various acrylic DK - at least some of it is Stylecraft Special but I’m not sure about all of it…
The final set of hats!! I love the way these came together, especially with the slip-stitch stripes and corrugated ribbing.
All except ‘Precious Metal’ are still for sale on my Etsy - 20% off until Christmas Day!! There are also lots of other designs on there and on my blog, so take a look if none of these are your style! :O
These bright colours were all SO cute to work with, and the lollipop swirl design is one of my favourites I’ve made :D It’s SO chunky and cosy thanks to all the floats on the inside. The harlequin diamond design is definitely something I’ll use again, too
‘Retro Sour’ and ‘Crayon Sun’ have ben sold, but the rest are still for sale on my etsy store - 20% off until Christmas Day!!
