Biografia:

O que pensar de um político que casa com uma famosa bailarina num casamento arranjado? Pois esses são os pais de Yunjin. O casal se conheceu no começo dos anos 80 e ficaram em idas e vindas até que ela engravidou em 1987. E em uma tarde quente de agosto Yunjin nasceu, seu pai não estava presente nesse dia a mãe teve que passar por tudo praticamente sozinha.

E depois do seu nascimento os pais não deixaram os hábitos ruins para trás. Ela ficava com babás enquanto eles iam para festas ou eventos sociais. Quando ela ficou mais velha era levada para algumas das festas e com 14 anos aprendeu a beber.

Gostava de arrumar confusão na escola de propósito e teve que mudar de colégio várias vezes durante a vida escolar. No ensino médio os pais praticamente já não a viam mais, já que ela sempre estava com os amigos. Chegava tarde em casa e no final do ensino médio não entrou pra faculdade. E ela nem tinha vontade de fazer faculdade de qualquer forma.

A fase inicial da vida adulta de Yunjin foi marcada por uma série de trabalhos em bares e boates, onde ela encontrou uma maneira de se sustentar, escolhendo um caminho diferente do que os seus pais queriam. Sua vida noturna proporcionou-lhe uma sensação de liberdade e independência que ela nunca experimentara antes. Ela se destacou em lidar com pessoas e rapidamente se tornou uma das garçonetes mais populares no cenário noturno local.

Foi durante esse período que Yunjin conheceu um grande amigo chamado, que também era uma figura notável na cena noturna da cidade. De início ele não sabia o que fazer com o próprio apartamento, pensou em deixar alugado, mas ao pedir ajuda a Yunjin, ela conseguiu convencê-lo de que poderia cuidar do apartamento dele. Ele ficou um pouco relutante, mas depois de um tempo acabou aceitando. Ela praticamente já morava com ele, então seria mais fácil do que deixar um estranho morando ali. Ela cuidaria do apartamento e ele não teria preocupações. Os dois combinaram que ela ainda ajudaria em algumas das festas que ele promovia em Seul, enquanto cuidava do apartamento.

Ele se mudou para o Japão e cerca de dois meses depois ela se mudou para o apartamento dele. Esse não era bem o combinado, ela só teria que ir no apartamento cuidar das plantas e ver se tudo estava no lugar, mas a tentação de morar em um lugar maior e melhor falou bem mais alto.

Ficou algumas semanas sem fazer nada, tentando manter um status de que não precisava trabalhar e que era dona do apartamento, mas o tédio e a necessidade de ter dinheiro foi maior. Então ela resolveu ir atrás de um emprego como balconista, no Sugary Nymph depois de ver uma oferta de emprego dentro do próprio condomínio. Agora ela está tentando se adaptar à nova rotina, um pouco mais diurna, enquanto ainda auxilia nas festas que o dono do apartamento promove na Coreia, fingindo trabalhar apenas por hobbie.
