Rumors regarding actor Kieran Bew joining the cast of House of the Dragon have been circulating for the last few days.

It is not known yet what role Bew has signed up for. The rumor began (via @westerosies) when he was spotted alongside Michelle Bonnard, who played the Brothel Madam in Season 1 in her recent Instagram post.

Kieran Bew is an English actor who has starred in notable films and shows such as Beowulf, Warrior, 1234, Rules of The Game, Da Vinci’s Demons, and The Street. Bew is also well-known in the British Theatre circle having worked on productions of Hamlet and Two Noble Kinsmen at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London.

Nothing is definite or even close to official yet. So all the talk about Kieran Bew should probably be regarded as speculation until confirmed.

With the war starting up, there will certainly be a need for additional cast. Perhaps the most anticipated new character will be Cregan Stark, Lord of Winterfell.

When we last saw Jacaerys Velaryon he was setting off for Winterfell on Vermax.

Kieran could be cast as Cregan. He does have the look of a Stark.

However, Rhaenyra did tell Jace that Cregan was not all that much older than him. Given that Jace is in his late teens, I took that to mean that Cregan would be in his mid twenties. Kieran does appear to be older than that.

With pre-production for Season 2 already in progress, we’re certainly due (maybe overdue) for casting announcements.

Did you see both the actors who play Addam and Alyn Velaryon in season two tweet ‘loyalty.’ towards Rhaenyra after the trailer dropped??!! I’m so excited to see their characters on screen. HBO also officially announced the rest of the main new cast (that haven’t been previously confirmed yet) for season two.

It's an absolute delight to see it — it means they adapted the characters very well, if the actors understood how loyal Addam and Alyn were to Rhaenyra.

There is no secret that Addam could have very easily run away once he was warned about Rhaenyra's orders. Instead he started gathering an army for his queen, he stayed to fight to prove himself to her, and ultimately died for Rhaenyra, with one single word engraved on his tombstone — LOYAL. Alyn remained loyal to her as well — he had no love for Aegon II and later he brought Rhaenyra's lost son, Viserys, back home and reunited him with his family. So to see Abubakar and Clinton both using that defining word for their characters is beyond lovely!

I'm so relieved those rumours about Addam being cut and replaced with Laenor proved to be false. He's my favourite dragonseed 🥺

As for the rest, of course I'm very excited for Cregan. I'm glad we finally got the cast and it's not only a guessing game anymore. 🤭

Lol, I’ve seen that 😒If she’s in HOTD she’s more than likely playing Sylvenna Sand the lover of Essie(who is the mother of Gaemon Palehair allegedly one of Aegon’s bastards). So it makes sense that she’d be in Caceres since that’s where they filmed the Kings Landing scenes.

Now if people think she’s legitimately Nettles and they think she’s the woman in this picture🙃:

I feel like I’m repeating myself at this point, but it can not be said enough because this fandom has a hard-on for imagining Netty as anyone but a Black woman. So much so that they are actively hoping that they put a non-Black woman in Black face to play a Black woman🙃

The woman in the above photo has Afro hair. If these idiots legitimately think HBO would put an Indian woman in an Afro wig to play Netty rather than hiring an actual Black woman and get 0 backlash from it then they are even more moronic than I thought 🤷🏽‍♀️

And now they've identified a potential Daeron casting and some other actors on set have been identified as well. Curious that they announced the casting for Gwayne, Simon, Alys and Alyn but not of these characters when those aren't necessarily substantial characters either.

LMFAO who is this woman supposed to be and why is she everywhere all of a sudden.
