Langley Kirkwood, who plays Walter Buckley on Warrior, made a post on his Instagram dedicating it to and praising Andrew Koji 🥹
"My favourite action sequence of our first two seasons. Andrew Koji’s leadership is one of the biggest reasons why our show stayed alive - as he grew and improved (as an actor and martial artist), so did the show. He didn’t lead with his ego but by his habits, his work ethic and his commitment to the collective above the self. Our rating on Rotten Tomatoes jumped from 79% with Critics in Season 1 to 100%!!! in seasons 2 and 3. Because he inspired an entire cast and crew to get better at what they did. Kudos to the best number 1 on the call sheet any TV show of film should be lucky enough to have. Okay, I’d better stop now before this post goes to his head and ruins everything for season 4. Warrior is now on Netflix. 🙌🐉🐉🐉"

Mini-review:
I'm not gonna lie, although I've been an avid manga/anime fan for years, the sheer size of One Piece felt too daunting, so I never dared to start it. After all this time, this live action adaptation felt like the right (and simple) way to enter this famed world. And I'm so glad I did it. It's engaging, ambitious and, most of all, fun as f**k. It lovingly embraces the campiness that comes with most mangas and animes, and makes the most of it. I do have some qualms about the cinematography and the pace, which feels a bit rushed at times. However, the show makes up for that with its gorgeous productions values and, most importantly, its mindblowingly perfect cast. All the actors are fantastic, and they have great chemistry too, but I'd say the MVP is Iñaki Godoy. He's an absolute superstar. Anyway, I really really enjoyed this, and I feel very tempted to start the manga. Let's hope we get more and more seasons.
