Character info:

Damali Khepri is a sophomore student in Scarabia, she's twisted from the golden scarab beetle from Aladdin.

Damali's family is tasked with taking care of the Asim's treasure, and because a good part of their treasure was sent with Kalim to NRC, Damali was ordered by her parents and the Asims themselves to study there and to protect Kalim's fortune. Just like Jamil, Damali wishes for freedom to do what she wants and not just be a servant and protector to the Asim's treasures, but she's rather neutral at her job, not caring much about the Asim's themselves and just being nice for the sake of being nice.

Damali is calm, often being able to have a cool mind in dire situations, she's cunning and smart and often able to come up with solutions for difficult problems. She's also seen as a treasure herself, given how famous her own family is and how people see her as a key to getting to Kalim's fortune; people have tried to manipulate her too many times, she is able to identify when people are playing with her really easily... That and she also is very conscious of how people interact with her, she basically has trust issues.

She's canonically beautiful, having a lot of people fawning over her and wanting a bit of attention from her. She has an eccentric personality because of her interest in poisons and in insects, specifically the scarab beetles. She believes people won't like her for who she is — that being something her parents always told her, that she must be perfect and look perfect at all times for the Asim's reputation — so she often keeps this eccentric side of her to herself, in order for people to believe she's the wonderful, beautiful and collected Damali.

Fun facts: Damali is blind, not being able to see almost anything; she's known Jamil and Kalim for years, but they weren't as close until they got to NRC because her family's job (and by extension hers) doesn't require her to be near Kalim at all times; Damali often asks to taste test Kalim's food instead of Jamil, initially being simply because she wanted to taste the possibility of poison, but later because of she deeply cared for Jamil.

Relationship dynamics:

Jamil Viper: Jamil and Damali have an interesting relationship. Damali sees Jamil as someone fun to play with, as different from most people he never fawns over her nor does he seem to care about her appearance. She's taken a habit of flirting with Jamil and teasing him frequently to see how he reacts (usually he makes a groaning noise and flinch in disgust, which makes her laugh); he's yet to get truly flustered by her advances and she made it her life mission to get to that point, but not because she loves him!! Or at least that's what she tells herself. Damali quickly understood that Jamil was manipulating Kalim, but since it didn't involve anything surrounding Kalim's fortune she stayed just observing the situation until an opening would come, so at first she just went along with it, pretending she didn't know that Jamil was doing something, but with Daisy (my Yuu) and the octatrio's arrival she quickly switched sides.

Kalim Al-Asim: despite being neutral about her job and not caring about what would happen to Kalim before the arrival of Daisy/the octatrio, seeing Kalim break down made her feel a lot of sympathy towards the boy, and seeing him cry woke her up to just how screwed up Jamil's plan affected Kalim. She grew fond of him after the events of book 4 and even more interested in Jamil as well.

Jeanne Hook: she hated Jeanne. Jeanne was going against Damali's job, and she did everything in her power to keep Jeanne away from Kalim's treasury and to ruin their date plans together with Jamil. Still, after realizing Jeanne's change of heart regarding her feelings for Kalim, she quickly calmed down, realizing the girl would not have the courage to steal from Kalim any longer — she also may or may not have used her UM on Jeanne and found out what she truly wanted was to be accepted for who she was, not treasure.

Jade Leech: Damali finds Jade's obsession with mushrooms and plant life delightful, and he often helps her figuring out stuff to experiment with more poisonous plants and fungi; they're both chaotic and weird together, but she tries to keep her act together because she knows Jade can and will use the information of her interest in poison to blackmail her.

Divus Crewel: her favorite teacher, he lets her play around with potions all the time but always when she's being supervised, he sees her as a mouthful because of her dangerous interests, but he's happy someone is so interested in his class.

Rook Hunt: little 👏🏻freaks.👏🏻 I am so certain Rook gave Damali a few flirting tactics to try and get Jamil flustered, and I am so certain that she had to stand there and go like "buddy I love you but I am not going to stalk him just to find out everything about him that's illegal". They are a menace in the science club, Trey is so concerned everytime they're together.

Trey Clover: Damali is always trying to push Trey over the edge and get him to participate in her and Rook's weird scientific experiments, he is almost always the voice of reason, making both Damali and Rook bummed out.

Monkey D. Luffy: The Solar King of One Piece

We all know that Luffy was always associated with the sun in some way and here I will explain this connection and how even this is present in mythology and alchemy:

Let's start with Luffy's birthplace Foosha Village ubicated in Dawn Island, East Blue. We know that dawn refers to the moment when the sun rises.

In the Skypia arc Shandia worships the Sun God. Skypieans and Shandia prayed for the Sun God to act, at the same time that Luffy punched Enel and rang the bell through the sky. And in this arc is where we are introduced to Joy Boy, known as the Sun God. At this moment we are shown that Luffy has a connection with Joy Boy and to make it more evident they show us the silhouettes of both that are practically the same. Considering the later revelation that the fruit Luffy consumed is the same one that Joy Boy AKA the Sun God Nika consumed 800 years ago makes it seem like Luffy, the true "deity" defeated Enel, a false deity, as a result of the skypieans and Shandia prayers to the Sun God in general.

Then in the Water 7 arc Going Merry is destroyed and Franky builds the new ship which is called Thousand Sunny.

Later in Fish-man Island arc we learn that the fishman dreams of one day living in the sunlight (we found out later that Joy Boy made a promise to the mermaid princess and possibly living in the sunlight this is the promise). We also learn of Fisher Tiger, a former fishman slave who went to Mary Geoise to free the fishman enslaved there as well as free other slaves there including Boa Hancock and her sisters Sandersonia and Marigold. After his attack on Mary Geoise, Fisher Tiger, together with the fishman he freed, founded the Sun Pirates, 

a group of which Jinbe was part of and came to lead after Fisher Tiger's death , who later would be one of the Warlords of the Sea, while Arlong, another member, deserted after Jinbe became warlord and because his anger over Fisher Tiger's death, he with his original pirate crew goes to East Blue and terrorized Nami's village for years. The connection that the Sun Pirates have with Luffy is that Luffy confronts Arlong and defeats him, achieving the freedom of Nami and her village and as a result Nami joins his crew as a navigator and Jinbe saves his life several times and in the end of Whole Cake arc officially he joins Luffy's crew.

In Wano Country arc we find out that Luffy's fruit is not Gomu Gomu no mi but the Hito Hito no mi, model: Nika and that Joy Boy was the previous user of said fruit. And in this arc Luffy manages to awaken the fruit from him, defeats Kaido and brings a new dawn for Wano.

Now I will mention something that may seem insignificant to the point of going unnoticed and it's Luffy and the sunflowers. In an SBS Oda revealed that the flower representing Luffy is the sunflower, this is so true in Dressrosa arc Luffy wears a sunflower print t-shirt. 

This flower gets its name from its ability to follow the path of the sun as it turns in search of sunlight and also was used as the representation of the solar deity in many of the Amerindian cultures, mainly among the Aztecs in Mexico and even the sunflower features clearly in the shield designs of several prominent Mexican deities, including Huitzilopochtli, Tlaloc and Opochtli (god of hunting and fishing).

Another thing that seem irrelevant but that are also linked to mythology is the love that Luffy has for beetles.

It is known that collecting beetles is one of the main hobbies that children in Japan have, which highlights Luffy's childlike nature but his connection with beetles is also related to the sun as in ancient cultures these animals were considered sacred animals and in Ancient Egypt they were associated with the sun and principally with Khepri, one of the Egyptian sun gods who was the morning sun god who had the head of a scabbard beetle and morning sun is also known as a dawn

and Luffy loves beetles and in the manga its said that Luffy will bring the world to a new dawn.

Also, Gum-Gum Bajrang Gun, Luffy final attack on Kaido, is named after a Monkey deity from hinduism mythology, Bajrang Bali or Hanuman. Who, when he was a child, tried to eat the sun, mistaken it as fruit, making reference to Luffy, a character associated with monkeys and inspired by Sun Wukong, a character who was powerfully inspired by Hanuman and just as Hanuman tries eat the sun believing that it was a fruit, Lufy eats the Hito Hito no mi, model: Nika believing that it was a normal fruit and later believing that it was a paramecia type.

The connection that Luffy has with the sun is present even in alchemy, to understand this first let me talk about alchemy:

In alchemy there are two important figures that are known as Solar King and Moon Queen, which are two substances that, when united through the alchemical wedding, give rise to the philosophical child or the philosopher's stone, this is important because the final objective of alchemy is to create the philosopher's stone that transforms lead into gold and also creates an elixir of eternal life.

Therefore, they are often referred to as the "red man" and the "white woman", the "red stone" and the "white stone" as well. Essentially, the two principles are as follows:

Red: sun, fire and air, sulfur, active, golden, hot and dry, heart or soul, masculine.

White: moon, water and earth, mercury, passive, silver, cool and humid, mind or spirit, feminine.

Having explained this as Luffy has the characteristics of the Solar King.

To begin with, the Solar King and Luffy, in addition to being associated with the sun, are also related to royalty (Solar King is represented as a king and Luffy wants to be the Pirates King).

Sulfur has always been associated with yellow (one of the Solar King's colors)

and fire (confirmed by the triangle of the fire element present in its symbol),

and Luffy has strong associations with fire and yellow which are explained below.

Fire: Luffy has two brothers Ace and Sabo with whom he has a fairly close relationship. Ace was the previous user of the Mera Mera no mi and had fire powers and after his death Sabo eats the fruit and inherits Ace's powers.

Also in the Wano country arc, Luffy learns to use Ryou which makes his attacks appear to be on fire.

Air: believe it or not, Luffy is also related to air. Air is an element that is always associated with lightness and freedom. Luffy is from Foosha Village (basically mean Windmill Village), he's someone with a light and relaxed character and values freedom because his dream of being Pirate King is to be the freest man in the world, Luffy always frees individuals and islands from oppression and his fruit is a symbol of everyone's desire for freedom. Also his gear 4 and 5 forms have clouds and Luffy in his gear 5 form can fly.

Solar characters are active and Luffy is someone quite active, he seeks adventure and prefers action over words. Also the characters associated with the Solar King are related to the heart or soul, that is, they are governed by emotions and/or are empathetic, that is, they understand the emotions of others and Luffy is emotional, he only does things because he he wants to and incredibly Luffy is one of the characters with the highest emotional intelligence in One Piece (gets mad at Morgan for giving the marines a bad image because it hurts Coby's vision of them and his dream of being one, he puts his hat on Nami to comfort her and assure her that if he will help her, he protects Hiruluk's flag because he knows how important it's to Chopper, encourages Robin to express her true desire to live and orders Usopp AKA Sogeking to burn the World Government flag to show her that his support for her is honest, covers Katakuri's face with his hat black as a show of respect and because he knows how sensitive Katakuri is about his mouth, etc.).

The Solar King's colors are red and gold (or yellow) and Luffy is seen wearing these colors most of the time.

The Solar King represents the masculine so most of the characters associated with it are male and Luffy is male.

It would be quite interesting if Luffy began to share some characteristics with the figure of Moon Queen (Luffy also has associations with blue and white, he has associations with earth growing up in a place with abundant plants and with water wanting to be a pirate and navigate, his gear 5 transformation does it on a full moon) which, together with the characteristics of Solar King that he already has, could turn him into the philosophical child or simply he would help to symbolically form the philosophical child with another character, well, let's remember that the two main functions of the philosopher's stone are transforms lead into gold and also creates an elixir of eternal life and with Luffy these two functions can be related in this way: Luffy improves the lives of the people he meets and even frees individuals and even whole countries (creates an elixir of eternal life) and he inspires them to be the best versions of themselves (transforms lead into gold).

I don't know if it was intentional on Oda's part but finding these features was quite interesting for me.

Atum sometimes referred to as Atem or Tem, is an important deity in Egyptian mythology.

In the Heliopolitan creation myth, Atum was considered to be the first god, having created himself, sitting on a mound (benben) (or identified with the mound itself), from the primordial waters (Nu).Early myths state that Atum created the god Shu and goddess Tefnut by spitting them out of his mouth. One text debates that Atum did not create Shu and Tefnut by spitting them out of his mouth by means of saliva and semen, but rather by Atum's lips. Another writing describes Shu and Tefnut being birthed by Atum's hand. That same writing states that Atum's hand is the title of the god's wife based on her Heliopolitan beginning. Other myths state Atum created by masturbation, with the hand he used in this act representing the female principle inherent within him. Yet other interpretations state that he has made union with his shadow.

Ra/Re:Rising sun

Ra-Atum:Emerges from the eastern horizon and rest in the western horizon.Dies every night at dusk before resurrecting himself at dawn. He symbolizes the setting sun and journeying through the underworld to rise in the East.

Name

Atum's name is thought to be derived from the verb tm which means 'to complete' or 'to finish'. Thus, he has been interpreted as being the "complete one" and also the finisher of the world, which he returns to watery chaos at the end of the creative cycle. As creator, he was seen as the progenitor of the world, the deities and universe having received his vital force or ka.

Origins

Atum is one of the most important and frequently mentioned deities from earliest times, as evidenced by his prominence in the Pyramid Texts, where he is portrayed as both a creator and father to the king.Several writings contradict how Atum was brought into existence. Some state Atum was created by himself by saying his name, while others argue he came out from a blue lotus flower or an egg.

Roles

In the Old Kingdom, the Egyptians believed that Atum lifted the dead king's soul from his pyramid to the starry heavens.He was also a solar deity, associated with the primary sun god Ra. Atum was linked specifically with the evening sun, while Ra or the closely linked god Khepri were connected with the sun at morning and midday.

In the Book of the Dead, which was still current in the Graeco-Roman period, the sun god Atum is said to have ascended from chaos-waters with the appearance of a snake, the animal renewing itself every morning.

Atum is the god of pre-existence and post-existence. In the binary solar cycle, the serpentine Atum is contrasted with the scarab-headed god Khepri—the young sun god, whose name is derived from the Egyptian ḫpr "to come into existence". Khepri-Atum encompassed sunrise and sunset, thus reflecting the entire cycle of morning and evening

Worship

Atum's worship centered on the city of Heliopolis (Egyptian: Annu or Iunu).The only surviving remnant of Heliopolis is the Temple of Re-Atum obelisk located in Al-Masalla of Al-Matariyyah, Cairo. It was erected by Senusret I of the Twelfth Dynasty, and still stands in its original position.

Relationship To Other Gods

Atum was a self-created deity, the first being to emerge from the darkness and endless watery abyss that existed before creation. A product of the energy and matter contained in this chaos, he created his children—the first deities, out of loneliness. He produced from his own sneeze, or in some accounts, semen, Shu, the god of air, and Tefnut, the goddess of moisture. The brother and sister, curious about the primeval waters that surrounded them, went to explore the waters and disappeared into the darkness. Unable to bear his loss, Atum sent a fiery messenger, the Eye of Ra, to find his children. The tears of joy he shed upon their return were the first human beings.

Khepri has lived a long life til she was chosen as heir and then sacrificed for being accused of a crime she did not commit by her father the Pharaoh and was taken to be a sacrificial lamb of sorts to gods they adored hoping to appeal with Khepri's pure soul as well as her unique beauty.

Something interstingly enough happened as her hearts were weighted as the gods were unsure of what to do with her til Apep/Apophis, Isis and Ra soon decided that they would send her back to earth but as a reborn goddess among mortals as her penance was for eternity as an appropriate consequence. She also became the very first vampric occult who could stand the morning sun.

When she came back her people obviously knowing and seeing her new status obeyed her whim and such, her parents certainly were indeed shocked days after they had put their daughter to rest in the Valley of The Dead. She did not slain them, her fiancé' who was a Egyptian man from a neighboring city was overjoyed but also cautious of her and the ones who accused her of crimes who were infact the guilty ones were indeed livid as their plans were now thorted to take over the city and combine their own with the stolen one. (Not the fiancé's family obviously)

Decades later as her family,lover and enemies are now nothing but dust, she has decided to emerge from one of her many salvation spots to look for love once more, though she has heard of a mysterious other occult that lives in a place called Forgotton Hallows. Quiet as history flew by ,- she was hiding in her many safe haven nooks though still managed to learn out the world and its glorious moderns treasures and languages that are now spoken.

Travelling the world as each year to decade always finding new things to learn whether by book or street smarts etc a skill that she was good with her hands and logic as well as socially. Despite all these new amazing things, she's always wished to be loved as she was before and as she is now. There were times with her various other ex lovers but sadly never many lasted for too long due to her eternal yet cursed youth. She has had many children during this time of course but the last of her line now extinguished 30 years ago has deemed it safe to return back to her home.

Though her home was modern and newish though their were indeed still great glimpses of an ancient world if you squinted hard enough especially the ruins of the once great temples of many kings, and she kept it rented out privately eventually adding renovations to fit the time ages e.g candlelight to solar electricity and water.

It was only 2 years that had passed when Khepri during a very unusual desert heatwave that plagued the city for the past week continuously decided to stay indoors for the sake of it deeming proper and also she didn't want to push her sun limits and burst into flames *sniggers* and thus lazed about with her pet dog Anubi and cat Basket short for Basketcase and watched tv waiting for her usual soap opera show when their was Lilith's bachelorette advertisement playing.

Tilting her head she blinked curious whether or not it was worth it to travel all the way to this Forgotten Hallows place and though she was extremely wealthy (possibly in the AUD/US billions of simoleons) she didn't want to upset her familial pets with the traveling and its consequences that it may traumatize them unless she really had too. So she made arrangements for a house sitter as well as a kind animal kennel that would hold them until she returned and signed her name up to the producer, keeping of course her vampire/goddess immortal ways a secret. and once more thankful though she could drink both blood and eat mortal food for sustenance.

Who is Khepri? The Egyptian Beetle Headed God of the Rebirth of Creation?

Khepri, in ancient Egyptian religion and mythology, the god of the morning sun, representing its transformational power. Khepri was depicted in the form of a scarab beetle, specifically the Egyptian dung beetle (Scarabaeus sacer), or in the form of a human with the head of a scarab beetle. As the morning sun, he was considered an aspect of the sun god Re.

Khepri is Hebrew for "as a digger". Like the actual beetle, Kephri has larval form, a giant worm called Shai Hulud. "The Immortal Thing Within the Island of Rust."

Most authorities agree Shai Hulud is the larval form of the Aeonic Being Kephri, who after the metamorphosis of the age, takes the form of a scarab beetle. The tendency of the god to burrow and then fly is represented by another Hebrew term, Gaddeon, "the gliding Gideon." His Number is 283, בח‎ג‎, "in the Holiday Festival."

Shai Hulud appears first as a giant worm whose mouth opens into a massive tea flower and from the flower emerges the new Aeon and its Angelic sponsor, the god Khepri, whose association with Gideon the Hebrew Judge cannot be ignored. When it is time, as stated above, Khepri appears as both a massive beetle and in anthropomorphic formats.

The Tea flowers called char, are a double entendre for noon, or "to praise God we are together".

Our verb χαιρω (chairo) originally described the formation of a social network, and expresses the security that comes from connectedness and diversity.

Nuclear fusion (the reason why the sun shines and why there are elements other than hydrogen) is all about sharing resources and extracting the subsequent surplus, which is exactly the reason why sufficiently compact societies can generate and store wealth. More than half of this verb's occurrences in the New Testament are in the passive voice, which has traditionally been deemed deponent (meaning when the form is passive, translate as active anyway) but here at Abarim Publications we surmise that the passive form is indeed meant to be passive and means to be "en-joyed", to be infused with joy, to be made (to feel) secure and widely connected. Hence JOHN 16:20 does not say that the world will rejoice, but rather that the world will be made secure, diverse and connected.

Likewise, the active voice describes to be, make or feel secure and widely connected. The nations mentioned in ACTS 13:48 were fully functioning cultures with their own wisdom traditions based on verified science and technology that was demonstrated to work. Upon their hearing the gospel (which is an insight into the natural world and not a religious manifesto as is commonly believed) they were making their nations secure, diverse and connected (compare LUKE 15:5 to Isaiah 9:6).

Our verb's imperative (resulting in the command: "rejoice!") and infinitive moods ("[in order] to rejoice") often serve as greeting, which quite literally stems from an invitation to bond and secure (MATTHEW 28:9, JOHN 19:3, ACTS 23:26, JAMES 1:1).

The verb χαιρω (chairo) means to be socially joyful. From our verb derive:

Together with the preposition συν (sun), meaning together or with: the verb συγχαιρω (sugchairo), meaning to jointly rejoice. This verb is used 7 times, SEE FULL CONCORDANCE, possibly most spectacularly in 1 CORINTHIANS 13:6: "Love rejoices not upon injustice, but jointly rejoices in the truth."

The noun χαρα (chara), meaning a rejoicing due to security, diversity and connectedness.

The transformation of Shai Hulud into His Scarab format is a sign it is time for the Age of Agony when all was rust from all the bloodshed to end and the Age of Mashiach is to begin.

There are more than a few Mishnah in the Talmud that refer to such an angelic being, a digger under the name of Ben Yohai, "the Son of the Name the Restores Life [to Israel]."

Kephri would not have emerged from the flower within the maw of Shai Hulud unless it was the Right Time. All of Israel must prepare.

Past Ladybug Lore

The lady in the spell book is Piáo Chóng  and is the first and oldest reference to Miraculous holders. She dates to around  5,000 years ago.

La Déesse Coccinelle  was an Egyptian woman around 5,000 years ago. She was a past Miraculous holder, wielding the Ladybug Miraculous and transforming into Ladybug when Tikki inhabited them. She stopped King Tutankhamun I from sacrificing an innocent woman in order to resurrect his deceased wife, Princess Nefertiti. A depiction of her as a hieroglyph on a papyrus appears in the Louvre.

As depicted in the hieroglyph, to transform, she owned the Ladybug Miraculous. She also wore a kalarisis with spots on the fabric and pasium around her neck as well as an Egyptian wig.

In the drawing by Feri González, she is referred to as the Oracle of Khepri, the Egyptian God of Creation, the movement of the Sun, and Rebirth.

Hippolyta is the mythical Amazonia Queen and confirmed Ladybug. Dates to around 3,000 to 2,000 years ago. She is the first ladybug who was royalty. 

Tentomushi was a Japanese kunoichi in federal Japan. She wore a haori with stitching near the sleeve hems and hakama, along with the Ladybug earrings. Underneath her haori, she wore a sarashi while holding a tessen in her hand and a naginata on her back.

She was friends with  Sasuke Sarutobi a past holder of the Monkey Miraculous.

Micazoyolin was an Aztec warrior who lived 700 years ago. Was seemingly the first male Ladybug later followed by Adrien Agreste as ‘Mister Bug’

Jeanne d'Arc, also known as Joan of Arc, (January 6, 1412 - May 30, 1431)[1] was a French warrior and lived approximately, 600 years ago. She helped put Charles VII on the French throne during the Hundred Years' War.

Mudekudeku was an OmuHimba girl 500 years ago. Mudekudeku wore a traditional calfskin skirt and jewelry that depicts her social status. On her ankles were jewelry that protected her against venomous animals. Because her entire body was red with black spots, indicating the area protected by the Ladybug Miraculous — which she used to transform — it can be assumed that the magic acted like otjize paste. She had several otjize hair plaits.

La Coccinelle was a French musketeer who lived somewhere around approximately 200 to 400 years ago. She was a musketeer and that her second weapon was a rapier, which suggests that La Coccinelle had excellent swordsmanship skills and was good at dual-wielding.

La Mariquita and she is from Mexico 200 years ago.  According to Feri González, La Mariquita was born a mestiza (one of her parents was indigenous Mexican while the other was Spaniard) during the times of the Spaniard rule in Mexico.She is the second known person of Mexican origin to wield the Ladybug Miraculous, succeeding Micazoyolin. She also fought in the Mexican War of Independence.Her superhero name is a reference to the spanish song La Mariquita.

Before the destruction of the Order of the Guardians she and Bo rua were the last of Ladybugs before Marinette.

Bọ rùa was a Vietnamese girl who dates to a 100 years ago. Her áo dài included a red tunic with black dots and black edges on the sleeves, collar, and flaps. The front flap of the tunic over the chest features designs of black curls connected to the black edges and a white flower button with a black center over it. Also, she wore black trousers and black shoes.

The lid of a gilded wooden mirror case in the form of an 'ankh' sign, symbol of life. It is inlaid with carnelian and multicolored glass paste. The mirror this case once contained was not present when the object was found; it was possibly stolen in antiquity. The decoration centers on the deity Khepri in the form of a winged scarab beetle. Khepri is the god of creation, rebirth and the rising of the sun. The scarab pushes the sun disc above the horizon and sits on a neb (i.e., basket) sign―signifying its divine nature―supported by three strokes of plural sign, perhaps meaning 'triple.' The formation spells the prenomen (i.e., throne name) of King Tutankhamun, who reigned circa 1336-1327 BCE during the 18th Dynasty and in whose tomb this object was found. It reads 'Neb-kheperu-re,' meaning 'Lordly Manifestation of [the sun god] Re.' You can see Tutankhamun's prenomen cartouche in the first comment. The king's name is protected by two uraei, each bearing the sun disc and rearing through a 'shen' ring, representing eternal protection. The whole composition is placed on top of an inflated lotus flower. This piece (GEM 405; formerly JE 62349), which is 27 centimeters in height, is now in the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Cairo, Egypt. It will be displayed with the rest of Tutankhmaun's treasures in the new Grand Egyptian Museum when it opens its doors to visitors. Personal Experience!!

This one is about my experience with deities.

The last posts I've done have been purely to educate but now I'm gonna share some personal experience! There's so many who think that witchcraft is very exact and down to the detail, but as a chaos witch, I can guarantee you do not need to stress

The gods I first reached out to were Khepri, Apollo, Braggi, and Artemis. None of them stuck, unfortunately. As much as I support not needing to wait for a deity to reach out to you, sometimes you have to wait and let them reach out. Deities will find you when you need them.

Hades

The first god I worshipped! I still have a little area for him and Persephone. The first candle I got for him was Santa Meurte- it was black and a tall candle and fit his vibe. Then I got him sandalwood incense, both sticks and cones. As we have progressed, he know has a smaller candle that he pointed out, rocks that I picked out of gravel, random dried flower petals, and a flower crown I made and dried out.

As for how I offered, that also changed drastically. The beginning was very formal, kneeling, making sure to voice intention, being extremely respectful. Now, the lighting of the candle is unceremonious and more of a "hey man, I haven't said anything in a while and wanted you to know I still love you"

Aphrodite

She was the first goddess I worked with entirely! She did a lot for me, and has since we've been working together. It was only about two months of work with her before I started seeing changes. Someone I had been interested in for a while began flirting back, realized they were bisexual, and we had our first date! Of course, I don't credit this entirely to her, but she was definitely meddling there

The most important experience I have with her, though, is not the generalized view of her. She has helped me with self love and self acceptance. She has changed the way I address others. She has helped me come to terms entirely with where my mental health lays, directly contributing to my discovering of being autistic. A goddess of love, but also a goddess of war, she has done more for me than I can explain

Loki

Loki decided to show herself to me about a year ago, and it was pretty sudden. I was taken by surprise, from the very beginning it was fairly informal, which honestly is probably why he chose then to approach me. My life was in shambles and they helped me get back up. That's her thing though, isn't it? Helping you work through the chaos?
