The holy trail The Kedarnath Doli yatra, the journey of 'Panchmukhi Shiv' from the winter's home in Omkareshwar, Ukhimath to Kedarnath. The journey is approximately 50-60 km long and is attained in 3 days. With the music bagpipers, the Doli starts the journey from Ukhimath to Phata on the first day, Phata to Gaurikund on the second and Gaurikund to Kedarnath on the third. On this route, the Doli encounters several villages and stops at every village so that people can have a glimpse and greet their beloved Kedar baba. Snacks and drinks are offered to everyone who is travelling along the Doli. As the journey progresses, the small hills and greenery change gradually as we come closer and closer to Kedarnath. Hills are transformed into huge mountains, green fields to the snowy valley and river Mandakini becomes narrower and agile. The pilgrimage is a huge boon for the people living here, every year thousands of pilgrims come here to worship in Kedardham. This due to the pandemic, one of their main source of economy of the people living here and those who travel distances for the season, would greatly be affected. Small businesses, peethus, guides, mule carriers, hotel owners, this would be a tough year for them. बाबा केदार की डोली पहुंची केदारधाम, 29 अप्रैल को खुलेंगे कपाट

रुद्रप्रयाग: बाबा केदार की डोली केदारनाथ धाम पहुंच चुकी है। 29 अप्रैल को बाबा केदार के कपाट खोले जाने हैं। जिसके लिए केदारनाथ मंदिर को विशेष फूलों से सजाया गया है। जहां प्रकृति ने कपाट खोलने के लिए बाबा केदार को बर्फ से सजाया है तो वहीं इंसानों ने बाबा केदार के मंदिर का गेंदे के फूलों से श्रृंगार किया है।

राज्यपाल बेबी रानी मौर्य, मुख्यमंत्री उत्तराखण्ड त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने केदारधाम पहुँच कर मंदिर के दर्शन किए

इसके पश्चात राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री, हंस फाउण्डेशन के भोले जी महाराज, मंगला माता जी ने बेस कैम्प में स्वामी विवेकानन्द धमार्थ चिकित्सालय का लोकार्पण किया। स्वामी विवेकानन्द धमार्थ चिकित्सालय द्वारा आज से तीर्थ यात्रियों को निःशुल्क चिकित्सा सुविधा दी जा रही है। चिकित्सालय का संचालन स्वामी विवेकानन्द हेल्थ मिशन सोसाइटी, देहरादून द्वारा किया जा रहा है।
