“Kaya?” Archie asks, standing up and walking over to him. “Are you alright?” 
Kaya stares past him and sways on his feet, he blinks absently and Archie puts an arm over his shoulders. 
Kaya gasps and jumps back, nearly falling over. “What?”
“Geez, relax,” Archie says, keeping Kaya from tipping over. “I’ve got you.” 
He chuckles and rests his head on Archie’s shoulder, “Oh, you’ve got me, have you?”
He quickly pulls away from under Archie’s arm and takes a few steps before Archie’s arm snakes around his waist. “Yeah,” he says, pressing a kiss to Kaya’s collarbone, “I’ve got you. And I’m never letting you go.” 
Kaya murmurs softly and hangs in Archie’s arms until he lets go. 
“So…” he says, leaning in close, “Never letting me go? Was that a proposal?” 
Archie laughs and slides down the wall, pulling Kaya with him, “Yeah.” 
“Wait, what?” 
“Why not, I mean…the worst thing that can happen is we get divorced, right?” Archie says, laying his arm over Kaya’s chest. 
Kaya’s head rests against Archie’s chest and he breathes softly, “Let’s do it. Right now? I think Torren mentioned that she’d married people before.” 
Archie nods and picks Kaya up, holding him in a bridal carry. “Let’s go find her!” 
They giggle the whole way to Torren’s room and Archie knocks softly while pushing the door open. 
“What?” she asks, looking up from her desk. “It’s the middle of the fucking night.” 
“We want you to marry us,” they both say. “Please.” 
She blinks a few times while she processes, “I’m sorry?” 
“He proposed!” 
“Oh, my god.” She says, pushing away from the desk. “Arch? A word, please? Leave your bride-to-be outside and close the door?” 
The pair looks at each other and Kaya nods, straightening his legs to make it easier for Archie to put him down. He steals a quick kiss before the door closes and slides down the door, a soft smile on his face. 
“What?” Archie asks, sitting on Torren’s desk. 
Torren motions uselessly and tries to talk, but what comes out sounds more like a goat that’s being strangled. 
“Is this about what we talked about last night?” Archie offers. 
She throws her hands up, “Yes! Of course it’s about last night! You were gonna break it off with him! He’s bad news! We both agreed on it!” 
“He’s not though,” Archie interrupts. “We’ve been talking all day and he said that thing with the old lady was a misunderstanding!” 
“And the other stuff?” 
“What other stuff?” 
Torren presses her lips together and takes a deep breath, “You know what other stuff.” 
Archie jumps off the desk and sputters, “Are you gonna marry us or not? Because if not, I’d love to tell my fiancee.” 
She runs her fingers through her hair and takes another deep breath before answering. “I’m not gonna answer anything until the sun comes up. It’s too fucking late and you’re too fucking messed up. Clear your head and think this through.” 
Archie huffs and opens the door. Kaya falls back onto the floor, his head making a loud konk sound when it lands. 
“Oh my god!” Archie almost screeches, “Kaya are you alright?” 
He hovers over Kaya, pulling him into his lap. “Open your eyes and tell me how many fingers I’m holding up!” 
Slowly, Kaya blinks his eyes open and smiles weakly. “Four?” 
“Oh thank god,” Archie breathes. He wraps both arms around Kaya and holds him tightly until they fall asleep in each other’s arms, blocking Torren’s doorway.

so first of all, this story takes place about 30-35 years after my other one, so there's a few easter eggs. like archie and kaya both knowing robert (spence's brother) and talking about echo and nyks. i just feel like that's important to state here
putting the rest of this under the cut because its going to get long
there's two main ships in the story, archie's and kaya's. they used to be co-captains but they went through Shit and it changed them both enough to where they weren't good for each other anymore.
kaya and archie are a really interesting dynamic to me bc they've been married three times and two of the divorces were jokes. the last one was bc kaya almost killed archie by. lighting him on fire. but before the Shit they were pretty much inseparable. i'm talking people woulnd't recognize archie without kaya or kaya without archie.
after the Final Divorce, kaya left the ship and took ryn and pix with him. pix is one of my favorites but he's a pretty horrible creature. it's like a fucked up scientist but cooler bc he has horns. he used to do silly experiments on beau, but then archie took him and scratch onto his ship. ryn is a little more complicated, but i love them just the same, maybe a little more if im being honest. he's like. unhealthily attached to kaya to the point where he would put his life in danger if it meant kaya didn't get a small injury. its also pretty close with pix, but more in the sense that they work together and have had to put up with three divorces and also three weddings (all more complicated than the last)
there's other people on kaya's ship too, bc no way can the three of them keep anything running, but nobody of note here. they dont have official names yet bc im still working out some kinks in the outline
in archie's ship, he's got a few more people of note. torren, holden, trinket, scratch, beau, chrys, silas, and imogen. only torren and trinket were with him for the Divorce, but they all know about it. chrysanthemum (chrys for short), silas and imogen are triplets who were run out of their hometown, trinket is a marinething, torren is like archie's ryn (but less brutal), holden is kinda pix-esque (in the sense that he's a medic and sometimes goes a little overboard) beau and scratch are the Main Guys (well not beau but he is to me) who archie basically kidnapped from kaya's ship and took in as his own. he's closer with scratch though
trinket is one of my beloveds, it's so...*holds so so gently* basically, a marinething is something that i put in my wip bc i wanted something like a mermaid but not like a mermaid. you get it. its about the size of an orca (i think i have a post of what they can look like somewhere on tumblr, i'll have to check) and stays close to the ship. for obvious reasons, it can't go onto the ship, but it learned to communicate with the crew. it named itself and also came up with a last name (scarrow). it likes to collect small trinkets (woah i wonder how it chose its name) it finds and has a small space to keep them on the ship. marinethings have hands, but there's webbing between the fingers. theres subspecies, some of them have tails and some have legs, some flippers and some tentacles. trinket has a tail, so no land for it.
the triplets are inchestering to me, mostly silas bc hes the Main Guy of the three of them. silas is the youngest of them (by a few minutes but still) but he's been the one to protect them all. he's pretty much in love with scratch and would follow her anywhere if it would let him. chrys is the cook, but they're not the best at it. imogen kinda just does everything, she's good like that. chrys and holden are together a lot bc the kitchen is right next to holden's room. imogen is pretty tight with torren since they both keep the ship floating and silas is close with scratch
torren is the first-mate. she keeps everyone alive and sane (though it is hard). she was with archie through all his time with kaya and...she hates kaya with the entirety of her being. she and ryn were pretty close at one point, but after the Shit they drifted apart and now they'd kill each other on sight.
scratch and beau are...so dear to me <2 scratch's name is actually isadora, but kaya gave it to her so she just stopped answering to it and let the crew chose her name. they chose scratch bc of the very large scar across its face. she's pretty much adopted archie as her mentor (NOT her dad though, very important to it that people know that) and will take charge of the ship once hes too old to do it. it's very protective of beau bc of the Stuff they went through on kaya's ship (that nobody knows about except them), so the slightest hint of him freaking out sends her into Kill First Questions Never mode. beau is. my sweetest boy. he's mostly quiet and the only reason he seems so sweet is bc hes been through too much to stand up for himself :( but! he is very soft and can read scratch like a fucking book. they're basically ride or die unless it has to do with kaya, in which case beau will not go anywhere but his room.
one thing abt beau though is that he is my special boy and has never done anything wrong ever <2
the magic system is basically the same as in my other wip but not many on any of the ships have magic. trinket has abilities bc of its being another species, but other than that there's not much to note. torren's mood might affect the waves a bit, but everyone ignores it and they havent tipped over yet. and if scratch should've died a few near-death experiences ago that can be ignored too because surely she'd have told them if it was immortal, right?
archie is. like a feral cat who used to live with an old lady but then the old lady died and he had to fend for himself for a few years until a kid noticed him and started to give him bits of their food but never actually did anything about him and eventually stopped giving him bits of their food. then he got caught by animal control and adopted by a person with a few other cats and is actually pretty chill now if you ignore the random bits of rage and energy. but a dog. he's got fangs (<2) and talks like his nose was broken a lot and never set quite right and oh yeah he's missing an eye. doesn't bother him much as long as nobody comes up on that side and he's ignoring it as hard as he can (it bothers him a lot)
if kaya's a bit of a witch, i wouldn't hold it against him. nothing too big or flashy, just a little hex here and there. a curse on isadora to prove to it that she'll always be alone, sure (its more tethering the equivalent of a demon to her soul). does archie sometimes feel like he's being watched? pretty much always. but that's hardly kaya's fault that archie just leaves pieces of himself everywhere he goes.

Te la asignan como support pero puedes hacer mucho más con ella, será miss stun del dota, aparte del Don señor stun castrosolino Earthshaker,

Tienes dos stuns, el primer stun es su primera habilidad...
Bramble: Es tipo enredadera como la habilidad de Underlord, puedes agarrar tanto a los héroes y como a creeps por cierto tiempo, la condición al igual que pit of malice, es caminar dentro del radio de la enredadera baja un pequeño porcentaje de vida, y puedes hacer buen combo aplicando bramble y enseguida el curse crown para obtener un segundo stun.
Shadow Realm: Lo dejas cargar por 3 segundos y lanzas un critico a distancia, es util si quieres bajarle vida a otros support o héroes con muy poca vida, también sirve de escape, esos mismos 3 segundos son de invisibilidad, confundes al enemigo y aparte te volteas y lanzas el golpe a una distancia considerable.  Lo recomiendo usar más de escape o golpe final (medio ks la cosa :P jiji) 
Curse Crown: (abusa de este cuantas veces puedas, y si siempres los agarras en bolita mejor) Lo puedes lanzar al cierto rango, y como su nombre lo indica, es un marcador que sale en la “cabeza” (corona) del héroe enemigo con un contador de 4 segundos, al terminar el tiempo, todo a rango de 325 es stuneado, tanto creeps como héroes, puedes hacer combo con los dos stun, uno trás otro, calculando el tiempo, a la vez incluir el ultimate que básicamente los hace retroceder, esto para huir o hacer bait.
Bedlam: JEX! Willow, libera al hada que esta dentro de la linterna que lleva en la mano, esta hadita castrosa vuela al rededor de dark willow, con un radio pequeño de 200 que dura 4 segundos ataca a 300) y golpea todo lo que toca, (como las bolitas de luz de IO), es excelente para matar creeps en torre si estas haciendo push intenso o para farmear solo en linea. Si heroes melee te persiguen y están junto a ti, es el momento indicado para sacar a Jex, puedes sacarte hasta un triple, Nota: Hace daño a estructuras.
Terrorize: Este ultimate funciona a lo contrario de Winter Wyvern xD, incluso magnus, este separa a los enemigos, los hace retroceder hacia “su base” es útil para ayudar a escapar a aliados o a ti, para eliminar combos, como el de magnus jaja, bueno puede evitar varios ultimates, correr XD e evitar el push en base... 
Están sacando parches de nerf para los héroes, por eso no  doy numeros “exactos” de damage, rango o duración.

Como armarla: Pues DotA 2 dice que es support, nuker. 
Así que si le sacas los ítems clásicos de un support, no hay problema, pero considero que puedes hacer mucho más con ella. Yo no soy de andar haciendo carry a cualquier héroe, más bien aprovechó sus atributos y “debilidades”.. (Realmente no le veo el chiste sacarle ítems de carry a un support, no ahora que las cosas cambiaron en este parche, es mejor sacar items de tu atributo base [STR, INT, AGI] )

Como estoy practicando con Dark Willow, esta guia la tengo seleccionada, así aprendí a usar sus poderes, más estoy construyendo builds diferente, haciéndola de daño por int.
Puedes seguir la guia de los ítems iniciales sin problemas, solo que por costos del courier y el ward estarás muuuy limitado.
He probado estas variaciones para early game, pero realmente lo que busco es el daño adicional que da el faerie fire, PERO!... depende mucho del combo que hagas en linea (otro stunner o un dps) y con la seguridad de que tu compañero entrada contigo a partir madres, pueden ser greddy , calculando muy bien el momento justo para usar bramble,seguir de greddy y asegurar un first blood, hasta un doble, solo checa bien de poner adelante y posicionado el bramble y no dejar de golpear. También me gusto mucho con la orb of venom. (haciendo combo con venomancer en línea, brutal), pero debes estar muy atrás para evitar que te bajen vida, recuerda que Dark Willow es muy frágil, tipo Crystal Maiden o Skywhrath .

En inicios de mid game, puedes hacer dos cosas, Aparte de tener tus Arcane Boots, lo cual es sacarte vida y ser support, o sacarte: Veil of discord, Aeron Disk , force tab, Kaya,  Glimmer Cape. La verdad es que a mi no me gustó con Spirit Vessel, creo que un Athos le sirve o serviría, junto con las Guardian Greaves, pero de que necesita mana, necesita mana,  Le he puesto BloodStone y da un muy buen resultado, junto con el daño en su árbol de habilidades (talent tree)

La he pasado mal cuando no he comprado la Glimmer (haces un excelente combo con el Shadow Realm y esta capita), como Willow es un target fácil (muy fácil en mi opinión Dx), la he llevado bien con el Aeon Disk + Glimmer, El Aeon Disk es una bendición, porque cuando te dan un putazo de más de 80, se activa el escudo y te da inmune a hechizos y golpes por 3 segundos creo, eso te da chance de activar tu shadow o glimmer y correr con la Force Stab, que te ayuda a iniciar o salir. le intenté poner Octarine pero no me sirvió mucho al principio porque no metia tanto el bedlam, ahora que lo uso más (y es recomendable) supongo una Octarine y Lotus, te da oportunidad para atacar de cerca, pero no lo he intentado, sería cosa de practicar, y ver el resultado, porque lo acaban de nerfear y le bajaron daño a Jex, en ese caso ya sería más support a fuerzas solo por los stuns, realmente no la he usado de support jajaja ,más que en dos ocasiones y solo puse como 2 wards.

 Rain pours down onto the dock, soaking it in seconds. Isadora looks up at Kaya, eyes wide and worried. “What are you doing?” 
He looks back at it and shrugs, “You can go. Leave the ship and…never come back.” He throws a bag next to her feet from the boat and shakes his head. “You’re not what I’ve been looking for. It’s all been for nothing.” 
She stares at the bag on the dock and then back to the ship. “What do you mean?” 
“Well, you’ve got soul. Which is a good thing, something a lot of people don’t have anymore. But you’re not a soldier.” he purses his lips and sighs. “I’m just sorry I took up so much of both of our time.” 
He shrugs again and pushes off the railing. Isadora strains to see him, but his voice calls from the center of the deck and she watches Ryn’s hand raise to command the crew around. The sails lower and the anchor’s heavy chain is raised. 
“Wait!” it shouts. “What about Beauregard?”
Kaya pops his head over the side of the ship, “Oh, we’ll keep him. He’s good at keeping Pix under control.” 
“N-no.” She stutters. “You can’t just…keep him locked there.” He glares at her, a look that says ‘I can do anything I fucking please, and one more word I’ll do worse’ and she hangs her head. “Can I say goodbye at least?” 
“Hmmmm,” he says, tilting his head from side to side. “No. Too risky, you could do something stupid.” 
The ship inches away from the dock and Isadora shouts, screeches at the crew to stop the ship. Some look down at it in pity, some ignore her completely, and some smile at her. They wave cheerily and hang next to the sails. 
They jeer at her, mocking the tear falling down her cheek as she watches the distance between the ship-her home-grow. 
The ship turns and she can see Beauregard’s face pressed against the window. His palm is flat against the pane and he shakes his head. It holds its hand out to him and keeps it raised until she can’t see him anymore. 
She takes hold of the bag and tightens the straps over her shoulders to keep it secure, then, she walks into town. 
The closer she gets to where Ryn told her to go, the more crowded the streets were. Quickly, the well-maintained paths turned to uneven gravel and the buildings grew closer together, making it seem like they would fold in and crush her at any second. 
“You there!” someone shouts. 
Its head snaps up and she stares at a man running full-speed toward her. 
“You’re Kaya’s little pet project, right?” he asks, stopping a few feet in front of it. “You’re supposed to come with me, I’ve got a room ready for you.” 
She stares at him and tightens the grip on her bag. Taking a cautious step backward, she bumps into someone. 
“Sorry,” she says, turning to look at them.
They grunt, unimpressed and nudge it forward. The man smiles gently and holds his hand out for it. “I suggest we start running.” 
The person behind her grunts again and the man takes her hand from her side. He runs instantly, nearly pulling the arm from its socket. “We don’t want to get caught, especially not on your first night!”

“What do you need me to do?” Ryn asks, voice wavering as he looks up at Kaya. “You know I would die for you.”
Kaya sighs and kneels in front of them, “That won’t be necessary. Just stand up and get us out of here.” 
Ryn nods and pushes itself up off the ground, wincing as the uneven stitches in his side threaten to tear. Kaya watches as they grimace when stretching their back, not saying anything when the wound begins to bleed again. 
Ryn presses his hand against the stitches and forces a breath out. It mutters something to itself and pulls his hand away. 
They take their shark tooth club from the bedside table and spin it in his hands, checking that all the teeth are secured. 
“Right then,” it says, looking at Kaya, “Ready?” 
Before waiting for an answer, Ryn pushes the door open and rears his arm up, ready to throw the club when needed. The medic raises her arms above her head and points Ryn to the door. They nod gratefully and shove it open, expecting to find at least ten men on the other side. All that’s there is a cowering child, barely seven years old. 
Ryn stops in their tracks. He tilts its head and crouches down in front of the child, ignoring the small pop that was almost  definitely a stitch. “Hello there, what’s your name?” 
“Why are we stopped?” Kaya asks, popping over Ryn’s shoulder. “Get a move on, we can’t afford to lose any time.” 
He shoves Ryn forward and slams the door behind them, pushes them past the child and out into the main room. 
The room is empty, if you ignore the blacked out group sleeping in a pile, so Ryn and Kaya make it out of the room easily. It’s only when they make it out of the building and into the open again that they run into trouble. 
Ryn’s stitches popping wasn’t as small of a deal as they lead Kaya to believe and it leaned heavily on him, nearly dragging him down. Kaya grunts with effort as he swings his arm around Ryn’s waist and holds them up. 
“Ok, you’ve done a lot. Let me take us the rest of the way.”

The table shook from Silas’ leg bouncing. He stared at it, watching as the inkwell wobbled from side to side. The door opened and he looked up.
Someone walked in and let the door slam behind them, they had blue hair and a scar all across their face, reaching from their forehead to their chin. This must be Kaya. 
“Where’s Scratch?” he asked immediately. 
Kaya scoffed, “Scratch. I hate that name. I gave it a perfectly good name and now everyone calls her Scratch.” 
Silas stared at him, eyes boring into his skull, “Where is she?” 
He sighed and shook his head in disappointment. “You’d think you’d have more self preservation. Y’know, since you’re the one trapped in the ship where you don’t know anyone.” he took a seat in front of Silas and tilted his head. “She’s fine. Just went back to the ship, if you really want to know.” 
Silas frowned. 
“Oh, don’t worry, it didn’t leave willingly.” He crossed his legs and sighed, “So. Who are you? Her boyfriend?” 
Silas scoffed, “Boy? Most of the time. Friend? Last time I checked. Boyfriend? No way in hell.” 
Kaya pursed his lips and nodded to himself. He took a deep breath and stomped on the floor once before standing up. 
The door opened again and two people walked inside the room. One carried a big needle and the other a chain. 
“Easy or hard way, your choice,” said the one with the chain. 
The one with the needle smiled and took a step forward, “I’d prefer the easy way.” 
Silas took one look at the needle and closed his eyes, “I’ll do whatever. Just get that thing away from me.” 
The one with the needle frowned, but took a step back. Silas felt metal wrap around his wrists and the heavy weight of the chain drop to the ground.

Archie could barely move his neck. He’d been sitting in one of the most uncomfortable chairs on the ship. But he wasn’t complaining. 
Kaya laid on the hard cot, his arms laid stiffly at his sides and the only thing that kept Archie from getting Pix was the steady rise and fall of his chest. 
A bandage was wrapped around Kaya’s face, matching the ones along his arms and torso.
Archie stared at Kaya, biting his fingernails down to the quick and bouncing his leg so much it shook the bedside table. 
Kaya took a deep breath in and blinked his eyes open, slowly looking around. He reached out for Archie, sensing him there. 
“You’re awake!” Archie said. “Do you need anything?” 
Kaya shook his head and smiled, squeezing Archie’s hand in his. “What happened?” 
Archie inhaled sharply and sighed, “We had a bit of an issue with the forbidden isle and you kinda…got the shit beat out of you. But! Pix managed to bring you back with most of you intact! You lost a couple toes and about half your hair, but you’re fine other than that.” 
Kaya ran his hand over his face and froze. “What’s on my face?” 
“Ah.” Archie said. “Well. There was some type of barbed vine on the isle and you kinda fell into it. Guess the pain stuff it gave you is doing its job because you can’t feel them!” 
Kaya forces a smile, “Yeah, good luck I guess.” 
He pushed himself up and took a deep breath. “How long has it been?” 
“Three days.” 
“Fuck. You haven't been sitting there the whole time, have you?” 
Archie looked away and pursed his lips. 
“Archibald.”
“It’s fine! Ryn and Torren have been taking care of things.” 
Kaya rolled his eyes. “Why would you let those dimwits take care of our ship?” 
“I haven’t been completely useless.” he took another deep breath and looked at Kaya. “I just couldn’t leave you here alone.”

Ryn stands with its arms crossed, they glare out into the crowd, eyes fixated on Kaya. Pix stands behind him, he can hear its worried muttering and can practically see it fidgeting. They take a deep breath and close their eyes for a moment before opening them again. He scans the sea of people, looking for Kaya’s familiar blue hair, but can’t see him anywhere in the crowd.
It shakes his head and scans the crowd again. When they don’t spot Kaya on their fourth pass through, he grabs Pix’s arm and drags him through the crowd. 
Pix protests loudly, but runs after Ryn, not wanting them to rip its arm off. Ryn makes a path to a very small clearing and finally lets go of Pix. 
He hisses and pulls his arm back, rubbing the spot where Ryn was gripping. “Look at what you’ve done!” it shouts, “If this bruises-”
“You’re fine,” they interrupt. “Did Kaya tell you where he was going? I lost him.”
Pix stares at them. “I’m sorry?” it asks. “Did you say that you…LOST Kaya?” Ryn nods. “How the fuck do you fucking lose Kaya? He’s got blue fucking hair for fucks sake.” 
His eyes flash with something Ryn can’t quite place and it shakes its head. “I’m sorry.” he takes a few deep breaths and when he opens its eyes again, it smiles softly. “Let’s go find him, shall we?” 
Ryn ignores the small moment where they’re afraid of Pix (because, it’s Pix), and follows it back into the crowd. 
After nearly half an hour of searching, Pix picks up the already too-fast pace. He runs forward and nearly tackles Kaya to the ground. 
“Knew I should’ve brought a rope with me,” Ryn mutters under their breath as they sprint after Pix. 
Kaya shoves Pix off of him and stands with his arms crossed in front of himself. “I told you to stay put.”
Ryn sputters, hands gesturing to something, “I couldn’t find you.” 
Kaya rolls his eyes and turns away, waving for them to follow behind. Ryn stares as Pix follows quickly behind, nearly stepping on Kaya’s heels.

Torren watches the water from her post. She ignores the sun beaming down on her already burnt skin and tracks a figure under the water’s surface.
The shape nearly moved a half a league in nearly thirty seconds and Torren slid down the lookout post to warn Archie. 
“Something’s approaching. Think we should be prepared for anything.” she says. 
Archie sighs and nods tiredly, “Warn the crew. Wake Kaya up and tell Pix to stand by. I think I know what this is.” 
“Are…you gonna tell me?” Torren asks. Archie ignores her and looks over the railing of the boat. 
She sighs and does what he told her to do, having to practically drag Holden out from his hammock. 
Something crashes into the boat. It jolts to the side, everyone on the ship stumbles with the blow. Archie stays where he was. 
Kaya walks up to him and looks into the water, “Oh fucking hell.” he mutters. “Ryn, get the net.” 
“We both figured this would happen eventually. At least it’s not a full grown one,” Archie whispers. “We can handle this.” 
The net is thrown over and the crew pulls up the struggling figure. Archie shoos everyone but Kaya away. The pair stands over the thing and Kaya frowns, “What the fuck are we gonna do now?” 
The marinething thrashes on the ship, its cries nearly deafening. Kaya stomps on it’s fin, effectively stopping it. 
The thing pants, trying to catch its breath, “Get off.” 
“It speaks,” Archie says. He pulls Kaya off its fin and smiles warmly. “Name’s Archie. Lovely to meet you.”

The winds rage and waves crash over the ship. Archie looks out the cabin’s window, squinting through the rain and hail at a wrecked boat. He stomps on the ground and throws his coat on before walking out of the cabin.
Kaya meets him on the deck with Pix in tow. He grunts a greeting and stands with his arms crossed. 
“Someone’s over there,” Archie shouts over the wind. 
“And?” 
“Don’t we need a new lookout? Since Ryn threw the last one out?” he says. 
Kaya sighs and rolls his eyes, “Fine. But you’re in charge of them.” 
He calls up a few of the crew and they work together to bring the ship to the wreckage. Ryn throws a rope over the side of the ship and the stranger grabs it. The crew pulls them aboard and Archie helps them up. 
“Archibald Blair, pleasure to meet you,” he greets cheerily. 
The stranger meets his eye and smiles, “Torren Leighton.”
