THINGS I HATE IN BAKUGOU FICS !

NR1. NICKNAME ‘SUKI’ 🥺

This goes first place for a reason. I hate that nickname with every blood ounce, cell, and muscle in me. I just find it super fucking cringe. Like no way in hell y’all r calling Bakugou suki🤪🥺.

I get like it’s a ‘cute’ nickname but I’d prefer something like ‘kats’ for example. ‘Suki’ is way too fucking sappy in my opinion.

NR.2 NICKNAME ‘KATSU’ 🥹

This isn’t as bad as ‘suki’ but is still pretty fucking bad, again it’s way to sappy for me too.

NR.3 BULLY TO LOVERS TROPE 🖕🫶

recently I stumbled across a fic about bully Bakugou that fell in love with y/n, aka the one bullied.

It was the worst thing I’ve ever read. No hate to people who make it or enjoy it. In my opinion I just thing it’s pretty fucking bad. Like why do you romanticise bullying.

I get the idea of bully to friends to lovers, but bully to lover is just bad. It’s not just katsuki bakugou but basically anyone.

NR.4 MISOGYNY 🚫💁‍♀️

I despite it when some writers make Bakugou a huge misogynistic piece of shit. Like to be fair he isn’t the nicest person in the show but he is definitely not misogynistic. He is probably the least misogynistic male in the series. All I’m gonna say is sports festival and Mitsuki Bakugou.

NR.5 TOO MUCH FLUFF ☁️

Okay here is the deal. We all love a good fluff fic about our fave characters. I do too, and I love Bakugou fluffy fics. Love it when it’s sweet & cute, being called pet names, treated gently etc. but some of these writers on here I swear to god. They make the man too fucking soft. I just feel like Bakugou is the type of person who would be softy and cutie n shit from time to time. But not on a huge fucking degree.

In my opinion over-fluffy fics that include Bakugou just doesn’t seem realistic and doesn’t match his personality it’s like it doesn’t feel like I’m reading about Bakugou anymore Yk?

Okok imagine you and your 6ft smth tall, strong prohero bf Bakugou shopping around at the mall as he has his fingers intertwined with yours in one hand, his other holding several bags of things that you both (mainly you) have bought. And Bakugou being the gentleman and loving bf he is, he always insists on paying every time, making you give him that cute little pout you always do, giving into his insisting in the end and letting him pay.

"Katsu, let's go over there!"

Bakugou's brows lifted slightly, then furrowed a bit once he looked over to where you were pointing.

"...Victoria's Secret?"

You looked up at him, quickly nodding with hopeful eyes and a grin, in return getting a small chuckle as he shook his head.

"Fine. Jus' because I love you, k'?"

"Yeah, yeah, cutie- You know you love seeing me in new things~" You hummed, Bakugou knowing you were absolutely right.

As you happily dragged Bakugou into the store, a woman—probably somewhere in her late teens, close to early 20s—at the entrance almost gawked at the prohero by your side, before happily greeting you both, asking a series of questions like: "Are you guys looking for something or anything in particular?" (which made Bakugou hold back a small chuckle and another smirk) or asking you specifically: "Do you need to get your bra fitted, possibly, if you're comfortable?"

But, you being excited to show Katsuki some cute things you noticed that he would most likely adore on you and things you "loved at first sight" you let out a small, happy "no thank you", before talking to the lady a little bit more, then taking off further into the store with your boyfriend.

Bakugou glanced around, keeping a tight grip on your hand to not lose you as you dragged him over to whatever caught your eye, the tall male occasionally dragging you over to things he'd ravish you in with a big grin on his face, feeling proud of himself in a sense as you got all flustered, occasionally giving him a playful flirt or two.. maybe a few more as he happily returned the favor.

During most of the time you both were there, there were expected stares from people directed towards your boyfriend in awe and adoration, while some stares were being made at you by others which led him to let go of your hand, to protectively pulling you in close to him by your waist as you showed Bakugou a few bras that you liked, not noticing the stares towards the both of you.

" 'Think you'd look sexy in all of em' babe," He murmured into your ear as he leaned down to your height, gently placing kisses on your neck.

"Ah- really love?"

He placed another gentle kiss on your temple, slightly pulling away as he looked over your closed eyes, head tilted back against his chest, before murmuring an "Mhm, you're s' beautiful in everything, angel.. swear you are."

You softly smiled, slowly opening your eyes as you flicked your gaze up to him, a hum of satisfaction beeing heard from you.

"Thank you, baby.."

"Anytime, love."

- As you both finished shopping around, you both got into line as he held you close to him from behind with his arms around you.

- You got to finally pay this time, Bakugou pouting as you playfully stuck your toungue out at him from your small victory.

Just imagine Bakugou walking into your shared bedroom with him, eyes gazing over your figure lovingly with a small smile on his face as you layed on the bed on your stomach, scrolling on your phone.

"What're you doin' babe?"

He smiled a little more, humming as he made his way over to you, hands stuffed in his pockets before moving them out crawling onto the bed and snuggling up next to you from behind.

"Mmmm.. online shopping, my love.."

You hummed, snuggling your back into his chest as he pulled up blankets over the two of you, you lifting up your phone so he could see what you were doing as well as you continued to happily shop.

Your boyfriend's brows lifted slightly as he looked over the items.

"You're shopping for merch, babe..? ..Mine?"

You smiled, giggling as you happily snuggled back into his warmth.

"Mhm. I gotta be supportive of my number one hero and cutie, y'know. It's a full-time job I gotta take."

He blushed, softly laughing a bit at your statement, before placing a loving kiss on your head. "Damn right, babe. Oh- you don't needa get that- I have that hoodie in our closet. Jus' came in yesterday. Wanted to wear it before givin' it to ya so you can smell like me more."

Bakugou mumbled, happily snuggling into your hair a bit, eyes peeking over the top of your head to look at your phone with you.

A soft smile made it's way on your face as you relaxed more.

"Thank you baby.."

"N' problem angel."

- You eventually put your phone away and snuggled with your amazing bf.

- You both also fell asleep from soft kisses with your legs intertwined + feeling safe and loved with your arms around each other.
