TL Notes:
There's so many orgasms
無礼講 (bureiko) is when people of different classes come together and break social rules together. For example in Japanese work culture, companies will have mini-drinking parties leading to juniors drunkenly criticizing work strategy in front of their seniors. They usually just freely speak their minds. I just translate this as “break some rules”
Hormaó is a Greek word that means “to set in motion, to hasten on”
Sexy
Amahiko IN YOUR AREA
Oxytocin (cin)
The culmination of a euphoric climax
Orgasm (asm)
Just a little bit more
Even if you don’t care, it’ll happen anyways
I’ll show you great pleasure
Entwined and inexhaustible
Cry all you want
I’m showing off this national treasure
ha ha ha ha
While we’re at it, let's get to the point and break some rules
Serotonin and dopamine too
Oozing, twitching, heavy load
Festival! It’s a festival! So-re
No limits on this Ascension Day
Open up your body and soul
Cross the equator
Your hidden wild side
Let’s expose it
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Come forth, I am Life
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Fulfill me
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
The beast within
Maomaoma Hormaomaoma
Ah Godspeed my dear
Only you can bring me love
Lay yourself bare
Our banquet for mankind is marvelous
We embraced the wilderness and became one
With our eyes, with our with with our hands
We hunted, we cultivated, all of creation together as one
Begging for rain, ablutions, purification, repentance
In the sun we must bask, bask, bask
No one is without blessings
Expose yourself
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Come forth, I am Life
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Fulfill me
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
The beast within
Maomaoma Hormaomaoma
Ah Godspeed my dear
Only you can bring me love
Lay yourself bare
Festival! It’s a festival! So-re
Indulge in this harvest festival as you please
Eternal life and prosperity for all
Overcome the path of strife
Glowing with enthusiasm
Bare, bare, lay yourself bare
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Come forth, I am Life
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
Fulfill me
Moonlight-light moonlight-light
The beast within
Maomaoma Hormaomaoma
Ah Godspeed my dear
Only you can bring me love
Lay yourself bare
Gather around and look about
Come dance and laugh
Gather around and look about
Maomaoma hormaomaomaoma
Gather around and look about
Have a good dance and laugh with us

“Small failure led to great success. Isn't that what life is all about?” Suwa told Mikio.
“I see…”
Mikio agreed with Suwa, but he could not wholeheartedly agree with the idea of stealing into Usagawa's house.
“But,” he said, “Usagawa-san is very nice to me. He trusted me enough to hire me as the manager of the Rabbit Café. I can't betray someone like that.”
“You said you trusted me.”
Suwa sighed, he couldn’t understand Mikio.
“Usagawa-san is just using you to do his own business, isn't he? If he really trusted you, he wouldn't be using the Nagaoka family's son to do his bidding. In the Edo period, it would be unthinkable for a merchant to put a samurai family member to work. If they really trusted him, they would have given him money. But you...”
Suwa stared at Mikio's appearance from top to bottom with a sarcastic glare.
“You’re dressed in Western clothes that don't suit you at all. As a member of a samurai family, aren't you ashamed of yourself?”
“Ugh…” Mikio snarled. Suwa’s words hit right where it hurts. He also realized that western clothes won’t suit him.
Neither Shino, his wife, nor Kaoru and the temporary waitress at the café, had ever criticized Mikio's Western-style attire. Tsubame even praised him, but it was because their families had a master-servant relationship before. So he didn’t take her word seriously.
“Oh, it doesn't suit me after all…”
“Yeah,” Suwa nodded.
“…”
Mikio decided that from now on, when leaving the café, he would change into his own kimono so he could go outside without any hassle.
“Now, we’re not talking about whether the western clothes suit you or not,” Mikio’s feeling had them drifted from the main topic and Suwa brought them back.
”Usagawa-san had already been poisoned by the new era. As a merchant he doesn't have any sense of propriety. How can he put a samurai member to work like that? He is a lowborn who doesn’t respect the family's lineage and traditions.”
”I… see?”
Although Mikio agreed, he was not convinced by Suwa's assertion that Usagawa is a lowborn.
“But Mr. Usagawa is a good person…”
However, he also did not have the words to reverse Suwa's argument.
“It's not good to trust people blindly. Do you know the word ‘charisma’?”
“Karisuma? No, not at all…”
“‘Charisma’ is a German word used to describe a person who has the natural ability to attract and impress people. Usagawa-san is definitely a charismatic person. After all, how can you, the son of the Nagaoka family, so easily be coaxed into doing something such a lowly thing as labor?”
“No, that's... I just told him that Shino got pregnant and I needed the money, so Usagawa-san was very understanding. It's not like I was coaxed into it or anything…”
“Then you said you wanted to become the manager of the rabbit cafe? No, right?”
“Ah... Yes. That’s right. I didn't say that I wanted to be a manager by myself.”
“I know right! I don't think it's something you really want to do. Take care of the rabbits that you finally let go of, and then come back to see them again.”
“Indeed!” Mikio hit his knee. “I was so relieved I got free from rabbits, and now I have to deal with their shit again. I guess I got sucked into the whole thing.”
“Be careful of someone with charisma. They have a natural talent for attracting people, so you can't help but do what they say. Don't just take the words from a charismatic person like Usagawa-san. It would be very easy to listen to what they said and it seems like a good idea to leave the judgment to someone who seems to be amazing, like jumping onto a big boat. However, if you don't think for yourself and trust people too much, that's a very bad thing.”
“What happens if you don’t think for yourself?”
“For example, if the Rabbit Cafe continues to run into a large deficit, you will be held responsible for it.”
"No, that's..."
“Then, on the other hand, when the Rabbit Cafe becomes profitable, wouldn’t most of the profits go to Usagawa?”
“No, that's…”
A large bead of sweat dripped from his forehead. Because Mikio had no idea what was going on about those contracts.
“You think Usagawa-san will treat you well, don’t you?'”
“No… It’s because Usagawa-san believe the blessing from the rabbit, so he probably won't do anything that...''
“I was talking about ‘charisma’ earlier. There are many ways to attract people. For example, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei's charisma is based on his high status, Kongming's charisma is based on his military genius, and Guan Yu's charisma is based on his…”
“No, I don't know anything about the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.”
“Really? It’s an interesting story. So, back to the topic, Usagawa-san believes in rabbits, and his charisma is based on the supernatural thing, that he would not do anything bad for the rabbits.”
“?”
In the end, their conversation was too difficult for Mikio to think about.
“Can you believe in rabbits like Usagawa-san does?"
“No, not a bit!” Mikio immediately replied, “Rabbits are just depressing nowadays.”
“Even Usagawa-san doesn't know when he might start to think rabbits are depressing.”
“Indeed!”
To be honest, he didn't understand all the talk about the Three Kingdoms and charisma because it was so difficult, but he understood this one right away.
“So you mustn't put too much faith in Usagawa-san.”
“I see. I understand.”
Suwa manipulated Mikio's heart by mixing difficult stories with easy-to-understand ones, and he also skillfully used simple questions that could be answered immediately.
“So here it is.”
Suwa placed the clay back in front of him again.
“No… but…”
“Don’t you think you will need it when Usagawa-san betrays you?”
“…”
“In order to succeed in life, you must have a long-term target.”
“Long-term… target?”
“You could say it's about planning. A baby is going to be born to you. As parents, you and Shino-san will prepare underwear and diaper clothes even before the baby is born, right?”
“Before preparing underwear and diapers, I called the mid-wife first, and I even thought of names.”
“That's great. That's what I call planning. The baby hasn't been born yet, so you don't know if it's a boy or a girl. So you think of names for both sexes.”
“I guess so. Gods in heaven are right on this one. I'm looking forward to it.”
“When you don't know which way things will turn out, you prepare for whichever way things will go. This is also called planning.
“Oh.”
“You have a plan. That's a good thing.”
“Heh, I see.”
Mikio was a little embarrassed by Suwa's praise, but was honestly pleased.
“Prevention is better than cure. Because you never know how Usagawa-san will treat you. There is nothing better than making a clay mold of the storehouse key.”
“Indeed, you're right,”
Mikio accepted the clay with a smiling face.
“I know you are smart, Suwa-san.”
“No, no, you're smart enough to understand what I'm saying.”
“Really?”
Mikio was in a good mood after receiving more praise from Suwa.
“I hope the baby that's born will inherit some of your cleverness.”
“Yes, I hope so! After all, he is descended from the Nagaoka family. I hope he is a smart kid.”
“But cleverness alone is not enough. There are many people in the world who think too much and fail to act. In that respect, you are also outstanding in your ability to take action. I value action more than cleverness.”
“Heh heh heh.”
Mikio was elated.
Holding the package of clay under his arm, he headed home.
.
The next day.
The Rabbit Cafe was still in preparation. Mikio waited for the waitresses to say something clever. Tsubame is the first one who arrived.
“Hey, Tsubame! Do you know what charisma is?” Mikio asked, even though he just knew about that word yesterday.
“Kari? Is it hunting?… Suma…? Is it from The Tale of Genji?”
Of course there was no such passage in The Tale of Genji.
“That’s wrong…Charisma is…” when Mikio tried to explain, he realized that he couldn’t remember what Suwa said. Yesterday, he said “I see”, “Indeed”, and he thought he was convinced, but he didn’t understand.
“Er…What is it?” He mumbled as he tried to remember. He regretted he did not tell his wife, Shino, last night after he returned when his memory was still clear.
“The Romance of Three Kingdoms! You know? Liu Bei is charismatic.”
“I’m sorry… I don’t know much about The Romance of Three Kingdom,” Tsubame apologized.
“Well, I guess I can’t help it then. Let’s not talk about this.”
Mikio felt relieved inside, but he bluffed that it was because of Tsubame's ignorance that they couldn’t continue the conversation.
The next one who came to the store was Kaoru.
Mikio decided to say something clever to Kaoru as well, he remember his conversation with Suwa last night.
“It's not good to trust people too much, you know.”
“Is that so? I don't think so,” Kaoru straightly objected.
“You have to think for yourself.”
“That's true, that may be important.”
Inside, Mikio was pleased that he could replied Kaoru’s objection as well.
Then, he suddenly came back to himself. He really thought to himself, should he bring home the clay?
Notes:
Romance of Three Kingdom: is a 14th-century historical novel attributed to Luo Guanzhong. It is set in the turbulent years towards the end of the Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history.
Liu Bei: was a Chinese warlord in the late Eastern Han dynasty who later became the founding emperor of Shu Han.
Kong Ming : Zhuge Liang, also commonly known by his courtesy name Kongming, was a Chinese statesman, strategist, and engineer who lived through the end of the Eastern Han dynasty and the early Three Kingdoms period of China.
Guan Yu, courtesy name Yunchang, was a Chinese military general serving under the warlord Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China.
Kari: 狩りmeans hunting (that’s why Tsubame asked if it’s about hunting)
The Tale of Genji: also known as Genji Monogatari is a classic work of Japanese literature written in the early 11th century by the noblewoman, poet, and lady-in-waiting Murasaki Shikibu. The work recounts the life of Hikaru Genji, or "Shining Genji", who is the son of an ancient Japanese emperor (known to readers as Emperor Kiritsubo) and a low-ranking concubine called Kiritsubo Consort.

TLnote(1): translating Japanese is so hard because the sentence structure is very different compared with English. Also the style of writing is different, plus there’s a lot of figurative, poetic language and things that don't make sense if it’s directly translated into english. So forgive me if this is very weird to read, and please tell me if you want to give corrections.
TLnote(2) I will provide the original Japanese text for correction if any of you who read have better knowledge of the Japanese language. Just dm and I’ll send the file.
TLnote(3) Dtninja had translated some earlier chapters on his website. You can go and check on there

Charisma - Kei Sarukawa “Double Down! Lifelong Rebellion” ツッパれ!生涯反発 English Lyrics Translation
This is an English translation of Kei Sarukawa’s song “Double Down! Lifelong Rebellion.” Song is on all streaming sites.
Please be advised that this is merely a translation into English and may not be 100% accurate.
Any questions, concerns, theories, or feedback is appreciated! Thank you for reading.
TL Notes:
Tsuppari is a delinquent/punk. Like a Yankee <3
How do I even begin to explain 夜露死苦 (yoroshiku, not to be confused with 宜しく which also reads yoroshiku) First of all, 宜しく is the proper way to say “best regards/please take care of me/pleased to meet you” as in yoroshiku onegai shimasu in greetings. HOWEVER, 夜露死苦 is a pun/slang on 宜しく used by Bōsōzoku (biker delinquents in Japan). It’s still a greeting, just written differently for the irony.
Come on! One-shot life (Fu! Fu!)
Just do it! Lifelong rebellion
Hell yeah! One-shot life (Fu! Fu!)
Double down! Lifelong rebellion
When the chime rings, I’ll headbutt instead of saying hey (Wow Wow Wow)
At the same time, I’ll tear up my schoolbooks and toss ‘em out (LONE WOLF)
No matter what anyone tells me to do (No! No! No!)
One after another, I’ll keep brushing them off
I’ll dodge the tailwind (Hum Hum)
And fight the headwind (Woosh)
Who cares about “logic”
Quit complainin’!
I’ll turn my back and run fast (Wa-fu!)
That’s the only way I’ll live
I’ll send you flying, Hide away (Hide away)
I am (You are) the way I am (the way you are)
Keep pushing on
Leaving (leaving) that town behind (town behind)
I’m a man’s man (Go away)
Go, and don’t look back
Sound it out, sound it out, sound it out, sound it out (Wow Wow)
The roar of the delinquent call
If you’re gonna pick a fight, you better really want it
I’m goin’ to town to settle some scores
Wipe the dirt off your back
And what’s left is the way of a man’s man
I’ll do whatever the hell I want
Even if you lend a hand, don’t start blabbin’ your mouth
Engine circuits are all over the place
Full throttle, vroom vroom vroom!
The more they tell you to stop, the faster you go
Wreck the Highway (Highway)
Ignore them (Go ahead) Go my own way (My way)
Keep pushing on
We don’t need (Brakes) no brakes (Need em)
I’m a man’s man (Always)
I’ll go even faster, with just the accelerator
Raising my middle finger to the “finger pointers”
Stick it to them, my answer is NO!
T・S・U・P・P・A・R・I
Thanks for havin’ me!
I don’t need no fake links
I gave up on those a long time ago…
I’ll send you flying, Hide away (Hide away)
I am (You are) the way I am (the way you are)
Keep pushing on
That town is (that town) is my… (your)
… I ain’t lost no more
Wreck the Highway (Highway)
I ain’t ever (ever) givin’ up (My way)
Raise my fist up high
I’ll howl, howl, howl howl
Howl, howl, howl, howl (Wow Wow)
I’m a rock ‘n’ roll, rebelling “delinquent!”
Come on! One-shot life (Fu! Fu!)
Just do it! Lifelong rebellion
Hell yeah! One-shot life (Fu! Fu!)
Double down! Lifelong rebellion!!!

Charisma, Hitoriboushi (A Solitary Tribute Death) - Iori Motohashi English Lyrics Translation
TL Notes:
奉死 (houshi) is kind of a pun of 奉仕 (houshi) which is service. 奉死 (houshi) isn’t really a common combination, but 奉(hou) does have a meaning to “dedicate” which is what Iori is very well known for. He alone (独り, hitori) dedicates his body, and therefore eventually his death to whomever. 奉 in this case is an auxiliary that shows tribute to something. His death (死, shi) is a tribute to those he works himself to death for.
The “humble” pleasure in the sense of kairaku(快楽) is pleasure from freedom of earthly desires.
回峰行/kaihōgyō: thousand-day walk through the mountains from Hieizan to the old Imperial Palace in Kyoto (ascetic practice of the Tendai sect).
澪標/miotsukushi is a play on words (wow this is happening quite a lot here!) of 身を尽くし/mi wo tsukushi. A Heian-era classic Japanese poem (waka) by Prince Moriyoshi goes: “Miserable, now, it is all the same, channel-markers at Naniwa-- even if it costs my life, I will see you again!” (Translation by Dr Joshua Mostow) < That link goes more in-depth between the two.
I took a bit of liberty with 記憶の花/kioku no hana. Instead of saying “memory flower/flower of memory” I chose to put “forget-me-nots” as the flower most commonly associated with memory.
Also-- I just wanted to point out that the way they "officially" read "houshi" is "boushi" that's why the transliterated title is "Hitoriboushi" but he clearly says it as "houshi" as a reference to the word for service.
The voice calling me to humble pleasure consumed my brain
With no way to shake it off, I return to you
Yielding myself to writhe in pleasant submission
Controlling my own desires, aah, it drives me crazy
Chores, serving meals, massages
Thousand-day pilgrimage, human sacrifice
If anyone tries to steal those from me
I’d sooner kill them
From the bone, all the way down to the marrow
To the softly falling blossoms
I would give up my life
And it would come to an end…
I would serve, serve, and serve-- until my dying breath
This solitary tribute death
My favorite collar shackles me
As a sign of my vow, if you would please let me be
I cannot help but to be your slave
For it is my purpose in life
If you wish for it (let me seek it)
Tase me, blaze me, dunk me in an ice bath too
My body (remembers it)
This sinful love, passionately engraved
Please order me around! Come on! (I’ll bring you food)
Do you need an organ donor? (Thank you)
I’ll take on burdens from an alternate dimension right away
Right now
From the bone, all the way down to the marrow
To the softly falling blossoms
I didn’t choose to be like this
This is just how I live
Oneday… I will fall
In the end, I’d like to be by your side
Bloom, bloom, blooming bountifully
I will become your “forget-me-nots”
And if I could be reborn again
I would serve you once more
Your esteemed orders
Please give me more and more

(Tamaki) Why, why, why, why, why
(Kiru) Sick, sick, sick, sick, why
(Renge) It doesn’t matter how deep I cut
I can’t even die
(Kamite) Too much time on my hands, useless thoughts fill my head
Living is unthinkable
(Nier) I know, I know
Because
We’re all the same, after all.
(Tamaki) Bathing, bathroom, and eating
Even breathing
(Yuuri) It’s all exhausting
My
(Nier/Yuuri/Zera/Renge) Brain is burnt out
In a state of disintegration
Internal overdose
Up until now, I should have been happy
(Kamite/Tamaki/Kiru) But now
Quickly, quickly, quickly, I want to disappear
Always, always, always want to die
Everything is monochrome
(Nier) Life is a pain in the ass
(Yuuri) Standing outside the yellow line
(Kamite) Girls, line up single file
(Renge) Holding hands, on three!
(Tamaki) On the platform, on top of the building
(Kiru) In the bathroom, in the love hotel
(Zera) In the car, in the ocean
(Nier) Both obsession and grudges
(Renge) Which one would be the least troublesome?
(Nier/Yuuri/Zera/Kamite) My brain has always been infected
Emotional breakdown
Declaring “SOS”
Up until now, I should have been happy
(Tamaki/Renge/Kiru) But now
Everything, everything, everything is so unpleasant
I want to quit it all
Charisma, help me
(Kamite) Life is such a pain in the ass
(Everyone) Zero, Five, Seven, Zero, Zero, Six, Four, Five, Five, Six (Suicide prevention line) x3
(Tamaki) I don’t want to die, I don’t want to live
Tightening the noose and hoping the morning doesn’t come
(Kiru) But,
Why, why, why do I wake up
I’m so depressed like this
All I want is to disappear
(Nier/Yuuri/Zera/Renge) I’m sure my brain is destroyed
Emotional breakdown
“A manic depressive roller-coaster”
I wish the brakes would stop
(Kamite/Tamaki/Kiru) But,
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes I want to live
But I also, also, also want to die
Are we selfish?
(Zera) Life is a pain in the ass

Before Marcy’s Journal was leaked, I had my own headcanons for the Waybright and Wu parents that I’ve kept in my head for ages. But now that Marcy’s Journal sort of proved them all wrong, I might as well give them a proper funeral by showing them off here.
Sasha (maybe these can still work, I just need to change the names)
Manipulation runs in the family. German-American Samuel Waybright is a moderately successful car salesman (in fact, “End of discussion” was derived from his slogan “You need these cars, end of discussion!”) while Japanese Yoko Waybright (nee Karisuma) is a model and activist.
Sasha is a total daddy’s little princess. After the divorce, she stays with Samuel on weekdays while Yoko takes Sasha on weekends.
Speaking of the divorce, Samuel and Yoko were motivated to split up because they just weren’t feeling it anymore. While they did part amicably, Sasha on the other hand was concerned on whether they’re doing it because of her. In hindsight, Samuel probably could’ve broken the news better.
When the Calamity Trio disappeared to Amphibia, Samuel had all of LA torn apart in search of them, but eventually, the police decided to give up because thousands of children disappear in the USA everyday, but none have ever vanished into thin air without a clue as to where they are.
Marcy
Marcy’s parents aren’t abusive in the slightest, you guys just like turning everything into Sashannarcy angst. They’re just strict but ultimately flawed Asian parents, did none of you watch Turning Red?!
Getting back on subject, Ed and Shauna Wu were just as concerned for Marcy’s disappearance as Sam and Yoko were for Sasha, but they chose to wait until they got an update on Marcy rather than ordering a full-scale manhunt.
Much like Marcy, Ed is sometimes insensitive of others’ feelings and wants, which often causes strife between the two of them. Meanwhile, Shauna is the one to keep her husband and their daughter from getting themselves into too much trouble.
Once Marcy explained everything that happened on Amphibia to her folks, Ed believed himself to be at fault for driving his daughter away and how it’s because of him that she was sent to a world where she got emotionally manipulated, stabbed to death, and forced to become the vessel for a mechanical monstrosity. Marcy on the other hand takes blame for this as well to cheer him up since in her words “We all have those days where we screw up and it hurts others.” The Wus would soon adopt this into a little motto.
Well, I think that should be it I think. Any thoughts?
