I've had trouble drawing zora literally forever. It's so difficult. But. I've finally figured out how to make them look good and fun to draw.

OC dump part 1!

Kalo (he/him) and Kheidla (she/they) are my first Zelda ocs! You've seen them milling about on my page before, but this is Kalo's updated ref and Kheidla's first full ref. They're in my odd, custom zelda TL I can explain at a later date. Doesn't change much, aside from explaining one part of their story.

Kalo is an adventurer/treasure hunter. He spends most of his time in the crypts, exploring various tunnels for interesting things. In one, he encountered a pretty substantial danger. A deeply toxic mushroom, and more unfortunately, he encountered a poisonous species of Lizalfos with similar properties to the mushrooms. He managed to escape, but, due to some poor luck, he unfortunately lost both arms due to the properties of the venom (a degenerative toxin that crystalizes blood, and pretty severely fries nerves). Kheidla, a rito inventor who knew his sister, used her expertise in safe, secure electric mechanisms to produce responsive prosthetic limbs. During the time they spent testing them, and getting them comfortable, she found him wanting for acknowledgement, and he found her to be the most beautiful person he'd ever met. Of course they ended up together in the end.

So, @grooviestsadpapaya and I have issued a challenge to do as many of a list of 100 prompts as possible. The first number I was given was 32, which is giving.

Kalo has to get his mechanical arms from someone, after all.

Made a Zora for fun.

His name is Kalo, he's a treasure hunter, and he has a mildly not tragic backstory that I would love to talk about. He has a sister that saved his life and a rito that made his arms, he met Link once, they went into a crypt together, and now he always wants more of Link's pumpkin stew.
