Let's not forget that until this Stede has only had sex with Mary (that we know of) so now he's losing Ed not only the day after they first have sex but the day after he first has sex with anyone he's actually attracted to, not to mention in love with
Like, the man was flying so high and then lost it all (and had his lover call their night a mistake to his face) in under 24 hours, I think it's impossible to overstate how much he's really going through it at the moment

Cale is the Saint of Death, and has been the entire time AU.
Growing up, Rok Soo's life was shit.
In his dreams, which he only barely recalled, there was always a warm place waiting for him. A parental figure that would ask him how his day went, give him advice, and try to ease the wound that just living life gave him routinely.
"You need to eat more! You're far too skinny for a growing child!"
"Shopkeepers are more likely to forgive you if you cry. It makes them uncomfortable."
"The next time he starts to drink, hide, okay? I'll deal with him when he comes to me, but I can't right now. So just hide."
Rok Soo could never remember what the man looked like.
But he did know that if he was ever put in charge of kids, that would be who he would try to base his behavior off of.
Practical, caring, and there.
What he wouldn't figure out until far later was that in his dreams, he was being parented by the God of Death.
By the time he transmigrated, his soul was saturated with Divine Power.
When he opened his eyes for the first time as Cale Henituse, he was also waking up to a world where he had the powers of a Saint.
Cage wakes up the same day, irritated from the start, because during her own dreams the God of Death would not shut the fuck up about how his son was finally going to be able to meet her.

i really, really appreciate that TLOVM is keeping the nuance of the gods in this adaptation of the source material, especially the Raven Queen
why the raven queen? well, it's like she said to vax - some people fear death, even our intrepid adventurers, and while it may be the end of a life, it's also a beautiful thing. it gives our lives meaning and purpose, and everyone experiences it the same, even if not at the same time
and it would be so easy to simplify what matt has done with the matron's characterization up until this point. it's always easy to feel animosity towards death when it's chasing our heroes, because well, we don't want to see them die (see pib: the last wish). we don't want the characters we've seen rooting for kick the bucket, even though, at some point, they most likely will - peacefully or painfully, who's to say?
death is an easy enemy, is what i'm getting at. it's an easy target, and i'm just so grateful that they didn't take the easy way out

Ok no one else is allowed to smile softly at Atsushi before letting themselves get killed to stop him dying with them anymore, he's got enough going on as it is 😭
Bonus with all three of Atsushi's girlfriends looking at him softly
Atsushi harem but the catch is they all keep telling Atsushi to go so he doesn't die with them.
Reading the dialogue between them actually makes me feel sick it's literally a pattern! This keeps happening from Lucy's 'you have to live on' to Sigma's 'let go, or you'll die too' (not this panel but 3 panels before) to Akutagawa's 'you damn fool, hurry up and go'!!!
The patterns....the patterns!!!

Okay so in canon kingdom hearts, Riku Replica absorbs Zexion and then fights Riku but eats shit and dies, with his disembodied heart going to wander the Realm of Darkness for over a year and Zexion’s lifeforce presumably going to whatever abyss every other Nobody goes to. But what if. Instead. Repliku ends up hitching a ride immediately and also drags Zexion’s remains with him
That’s right babey we’re making Heart Hotel 2: This One’s Awful. I’m calling it Riku’s Rest Stop

I feel like the only way Narilamb works is if there is absolutely no equal footing between the lamb and Narinder. I’m not talking about a gross power dynamic but I mean Narinder has nothing in terms of godly power or influence other than being the now dethroned god the lamb would tell their followers they were worshipping.
He can’t influence the lamb anymore, he can’t scare the followers cause the lamb won’t allow him to act on threats and he won’t descent. He is less than powerless cause he is just there, the lamb does not even torment him.
But that’s where it starts. The lamb is not nice but is kind and Narinder has never equated death with kindness truly. It baffles him that the lamb respects him or tolerates him and there’s an infatuation before even a feeling of complacency or interest. A fear that this is all there is gonna be and wanting a more terse connection to the one he once saw as nothing as a vessel. The lamb doesn’t even act familiar with him, Narinder another sheep in the flock.
Narinder needs the lamb to want him to need to follow the dynamics in place. To feed in to what Narinder should feel is more personal and I feel it’s crazy I don’t see this interpretation carried out as much

My current favourite crackship that I just created myself is Hiyori×Alive!Kuina. Just because if she can't get Zoro she'll just go for his cousin instead.
You're a genius. Your brain is huge. Please, let me kiss your brain. This is just amazing. I love lesbians. You're SO real-
Hiyori is easily one of my favorite characters and I love her SO much and people won't stop reducing her to her ship with Zoro. I think she doesn't need anybody and if she did want somebody it should be a girl. Because I say so. And Kuina is just,,, She would've been such a great character. Can't stop thinking about this fanart I found because it has changed my life for the better. She's in Wano to train to become the world's greatest swordsman and I'm just thinking about what if Kuina had been there to help them out too and she had been the one to save Hiyori all those times instead of Zoro.... Thinking thoughts. Like, of course, Hiyori and Zoro also have their moments because I do actually like their dynamic and I think she admires him a lot!! But you know. Kuina saves Hiyori a couple of times (when Zoro was going to do it, actually, she just appears like a second before him and ruins his moment) and Hiyori just melts. Because who wouldn't? Kuina would be so tall and strong and a sizeable woman, and I would personally die if she helped me save my country. Besides, I think they'd understand each other because both are women that have been reduced to that role specifically instead of their ambitions and their power and they're so much more. Hiyori was helpless when she had to see her country turn into this mess and she couldn't so anything else but to pretend,, Like-- If somebody knows how being a woman in the world works is Hiyori, and Kuina would understand. She'd admire Kuina so much for her abilities and her personality and ambitions!!!!!! And Kuina would absolutely love Hiyori's kindness and strength for being able to put up with so much!!!
Not to mention that Kuina would be taller than her,,, And bigger,,, And Hiyori would have to look up,, And this is now just the aesthetic part but God they'd look so different. That's Hiyori's guard dog. Wouldn't it be funny if Kuina were all serious and teasing with Zoro and like "*raises eyebrow* seriously?" type of masc girl, and the second Hiyori is around she turns into the happiest person in the world and extremely protective of her? Zoro judges her but he can't say shit because he's literally the same with Luffy (and Kuina teases him even more because she always has the upper hand and it makes him so angry). They're both down bad. Hiyori is just so nice to her and keeps saying she trusts her to become the world's greatest swordsman but even if she doesn't, she'll always have her heart and a place to stay in Wano. And I am weak, guys, I am so weak for lesbians.
Aghhh this is SO good. Somebody make them kiss. I- This is great. Oda could just say "ah yes Kuina actually escaped her hometown on her own and faked her death and traveled to Wano" and I'd believe him wholeheartedly because I want her back. I also want Hiyori back. I miss Wano sometimes a lot.
Also, Kuina sees Zoro with Enma and she goes:
Kuina: Oh cool, you got Hiyori's sword. Good luck with that one.
Zoro: Do you want it or what? I am not giving it to you. You'll have to fight for it.
Kuina: Nah, when I win our fight I want to win against the king of hell. Nothing less.
Zoro: Where's the 'I can't win I'm a girl' bullshit now?
Kuina: Stayed with the girl. Now I am a woman and I am going to beat your ass.
And Hiyori looking at them having the biggest lesbian moment in the world kicking her feet and blushing and Momo is next to her like "hehe you have a crush-" and he doesn't get to finish what he was saying because Hiyori hits him so fucking hard he faints. Don't tease her. Poor girl. She's in love, leave her alone.
