It has been a while since Hoshina and Y/n have spent some actual bonding time together due to Hoshina being busy with his occupation, but that gave Y/n the opportunity to create a painting as a gift just for him. They have been working on it for quite a while now, but now they have finally finished, now only thinking about how to give it to him, as they wanted to make it more special.

they then went outside of their shared home to take a breather. Perhaps an idea may come to their mind while taking a walk. As they were walking around the area, they came across a store containing sticky notes and saw a child holding a treasure chest-looking side-bag beside the sticky notes, giving an idea on how they'll gift the painting to Hoshina.

They quickly went into the store to Purchase some sticky notes and went home. Once they arrived, they started writing down on the sticky notes and posting them around their shared home, starting from the wall beside the front door to make the sticky note noticeable. The rest lead all the way to their shared bedroom, which was not very far.

An hour later, Hoshina arrives home from work. However, his s/o wasn't there to greet him like usual, so he thought they were probably still taking a nap, but he noticed that the house was quiet, not the usual silence he was used to, but there was something different about it. As he was taking off his shoes to replace them with his house slippers, a sticky note was in the corner of his eye.

The note said, "Your soft violet hair that reminds me of a violet gladiolus, gives off such a pleasant smell that one cannot help but bury themselves in it." He chuckles.

Then he saw another note "Your red eyes that I can't help but look into, burn with determination and passion."

"Your body that always gives me the sweetest and loveliest of hugs, especially when I feel down, is filled with scars from all the battles you've been through."

"Your strong will to protect those around you, even if you had to sacrifice yourself, always had the room to make me feel like the happiest person that ever existed."

"I could go on and on about all the things I love about you, but there's so many I could never write it down nor tell you myself. So instead, I decided to put it into a portrait."

The last note said, which was right on the door to their bedroom. Hoshina opened the door to find a portrait of himself. On the painting, he had a small but peaceful and genuine smile plastered across his face with his wearing a tattered version of his uniform, showing both old and new scars as violet gladioli and white heather flowers adorned the floor with the sun setting down on him in the background.

Hoshina adorns a look of awe and admiration, enamored by the beauty of the painting. He stayed silent, thankful that he was blessed with such a talented and loving s/o.

Y/n appears by the bedroom door, looking at him nervously "so..? Do you like the painting..?" Hoshina turns around and embraces them in his arms "thank you, I'll cherish this for the rest of my life, and I promise to protect you until my last breath so that you can be happy." He declares, pressing his forehead against his s/o's "Just don't die on me, alright? I can't be completely happy if one of my greatest joys is gone forever."

"no promises" Hoshina teases.

Y/n steps on his foot as he chuckles in return. The couple continued to hold each other in silence, relishing the moment.

OKAAYYY in no particular order:

greg getting whacked was beautiful i wish he'd been stomped into a pulp honestly sorry for not being able to separate the art from the artist but nicholas braun is a weasel and i hope he gets hit by a car

that being said tom and greg's interactions this ep were top tier i'm not a tomgreg enthusiast like That but i think every scene of theirs was hilarious as it was twisted

tom this whole episode... phenomenal. matthew is just a cut above in terms of acting he embodied tom's hunger and desperation and patheticisms so perfectly i really felt more and more unsettled by him every appearance

i do wish we had more stewy screentime but i also wish that for every single episode arian moayed is so freaking talented and charismatic and amazing and he ate up every second he was on screen

speaking of stewy. "you kiss guys on molly" <- BITCH.....? i actually don't know if i've mentioned this on tumblr but i'm a kenstewinator for life and frankly this was confirmation that they explored each other's bodies at college idgaf what anyone has to say about it

ohhhh my god the fucking "meal fit for a king" scene. i can't even find the words for it. seeing them all so happy and having so much fun with each other in that moment was just so heartbreaking bc i KNEW it wasn't going to last 😭 like my mum and i literally checked how much time was left in the episode after that scene and looked at each other like Wellll something terrible is going to happen isn't it.

kendall My beautiful baby boy kendall IM SORRY I WASNT YOUR MOTHERRRRRRRR . i could honestly write an essay about kendall in this episode alone i have never seen such a tragic crumbling of the self maybe ever. him sitting at logan's desk thinking he's finally won... his reaction to shiv betraying their deal... him attacking roman like i was seriously breathless my god that entire sequence was fucking crazy

and to be quite honest if i was kendall in that situation well i would have killed myself in that damn board room and changed the trajectory of all those old hags lives forever . like "i'm a cog built for one machine" And now he has nothing no father no siblings no wife no kids no company my fucking goddddddd 🤦‍♀️

i started chanting "please please please dont kill yourself" out loud in the final scene and i'm dead serious the kendall water motif HAUNTS ME and i was so freaking scared . but that final frame is honestly equally awful like kendall alone with colin in the background him basically becoming logan with none of the power this is seriously the worst possible ending for him.....

shiv doomed to repeat the pattern of being under a man's thumb is genuinely so deeply demented jesse armstrong sleep with one eye open. and i hate it so much because it makes so much SENSE like yeah she's lady macbeth she's caroline she's the wife she's the mother and she will never be anything else okay OKAYY.

like that scene w her and tom in the car where he waits for her to hold his hand was so fucking spine chilling also the ambiguity of us not knowing whether tom knows that shiv was the deciding vote in his favour is crazy <- i do think it makes sense that he would know but just shiv having that as a bargaining chip so they can sting each other over and over again like its all about the cycles i fear

roman being so resigned to it all by the end was sick like ok that comment about kendall's kids was evil but i still felt for him howeverr i do think out of the trio he will be objectively the most okay in the future... like he's free from it all in a way shiv obviously isn't and kendall literally can't be

honestly i'm struggling to articulate anything more i'm still so overwhelmed by how it came to a close.. never have i watched a show that left me so heartbroken and hollow but also absolutely satisfied narratively like succession is going down in the history books FR 😭

also they're def going to sweep the emmys and it will be so deserved i seriously think they need to invent a new rule to allow for a tie because i cannot imagine how they're going to decide between kieran and jeremy for best lead... <- i do lean a little towards jeremy bc i'm a biased kendall girl but kieran's performance esp in the first half of this season was just jawdropping so who knows

i just can't describe how incredible it is the way you wrote this fic from the biggest of things like the way you describe and handle grief and mourning, the subtle theme of death and life and legacy, the relationships you develop, to the smallest things like how you write peter's character and the lightheartedness and humor in dialogue. you write it all with such maturity and give it such a beautiful structure

hi Gray, how's it going? first of all, im sorry to bother you, i've been trying to choose the right words to tell you this for a while, so im sorry if this will probably look like a mess lol.

i know im suuuper late for this, but i really needed to tell you how CG made me feel. and it made me feel at home. i remember when i started reading the first chapter, i immediately felt a sort of connection with ian's character: just like him, i'm currently at that stage in life where i feel lost; i don't know exactly where im going or what direction to take, and so the pressure and the weight of the days overwhelms me sometimes.

i realized that this fic was going to be special to me when it started to feel like hope. being able to witness ian and mickey's journeys from start to finish, reading them make their way through everyday life, overcoming their struggles and insecurities and then finally watching their personal growth and love for each other blossom out was really moving. and it made me think that maybe one day i'll find my way, too, that i'll be able to turn my life upside down in the best possible way. maybe i'll grow, too, and i'll start to feel alive again.

im genuinely in awe of your talent and your wonderful writing and how everything in the fic felt so realistic, like i could perfectly picture every scene in my head while i was reading. i'll never forget the amount of emotions this story gave me, how my heart was filled with joy when they first kissed, how i teared up when mickey was telling his trauma to ian, how much i was mesmerized by the details, the songs choice, the city views and just every single thing. it really felt like i was on a journey with them all along.

im really sorry for this long ass speech, but i wanted you to know this. can't wait to finally catch up with tbm too! 🥰

and lastly, Gray... thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your immense talent and this beautiful story with us, with me. you have no idea how much it meant to me to have an escape when everything all around me was suffocating and painfully static. thank you for creating what i'm not afraid to call a masterpiece. i wish you the best. ❤️

I wanted to try to return a tiny bit of the joy you brought me today and while I’ve never written Obey Me before I tired to throw together a little something for you and I hope you enjoy it!!! The room felt stuffy. Ina felt like she’d been reading the same line repeated times and not retaining a single thing. Across the table from her stretched out and taking up most of the room was Beel. Also staring at his book his handsome brow drawn together as he was trying himself to absorb the work they’d been assigned.

Ina was distracted. Every time the words started to make the slightest sense Beel would shift in his chair or he’d glance up at her flashing one of his sweet and boyish grins. Everything would just disappear as she could feel a blush fill her face. “How’s your work going?” Voice warm and tinged with honey. Beel looked as frustrated as she currently felt letting out a breath as he run one of his giant hands up through his hair. “I don’t feel like I’m retaining anything.”

His short awkward laugh was enduring. Nodding as Ina pushed her book away her own giggles matching the deep baritone of his. “Same, this assignment is terrible.” Locking gazes they both freeze for a moment before each glanced in a different direction.

“Maybe we should take a break?” Biting his lip Beel fidgets as his eyes return to Ina’s. Nodding enthusiastically happy to agree to anything that allows them to spend more time together hopefully without the stiff silence. “How have your classes been going?” It’s sweet the way the large man shrugs trying to initiate a easy conversation. His effort appreciated by Ina as she struggles to think about anything but how pretty his eyes look in this light.

“Alright I guess, Wish we had less work.” Voice trailing off as Beel seems to light up in the middle of her explanation.

“I almost forgot, I brought us snacks to share. Would you like some?” Reaching down to the floor level, Ina giggles again as Beel slams a very full bag down on the table between them.

“That sounds perfect Beel.” Face glowing as she glances up at him, the demon grows bashful under her praise. Grinning widely digging out a mountain of treats.

“I wanted everything to be nice for you.” The heat evident on his cheeks at his small confession. Biting her lip hard Ina forces a smile when she in fact wants to squeal out loud at how sweet this man she secretly adored was being to her.
