Unbelievable amount of cat mannerisms and urges n all'at, but also phantom wings and horns and vivid images of the way I'm apparently supposed to look. This doesn't even touch on the robot stuff

Only thing I know forsure is at some point I was (at least part of) the void, or a very void-like entity. Vast murky ocean, if you dipped your hand in it would disappear before your eyes, located somewhere very deep.

I'm in the middle of the KHR rewatch with my 12yo son, and these things happened today:

— We talked about cosplaying Irie and Spanner (he's willing to be Irie because he knows I love Spanner so much)

— Related to the previous point, he was so surprised when he found out Irie was an ally! His reactions are always a delight to see.

— We reached opening 6.5!!! As soon as he noticed the switch from "future arc" to "Arcobaleno arc" in the title, he went super suspicious, and when the images changed, both of us went nuts, cheering and screaming at the TV

— After that, he said "top pairings that should've been confirmed in canon: 1. Shin and Noi, and 2. Gamma and Uni's mom" and he was so real for that lol

I think Tommy having a Twitter where he talks about Ninjago might be the worst possible thing that could’ve happened to this show. It’s no secret that Tommy is a hypocrite with what information he gives to his fans regarding the show, so I believe we should just disregard what jabs and comments he makes towards fan questions and just stop asking him questions in general. It benefits no one and it even stresses Tommy himself out (whether this is true or not is purely based on situational causes).

I’m mostly saying this in consideration of Tommy getting fans hopes up and borderline clickbaiting most of the recent seasons. I’d also like to mention Tommy saying that Lloyd, Harumi, and Morro are family but then clearly favoring Lloyd/Harumi as a couple in some cases as an example of hypocrisy. There’s a lot of other insistences I would like to talk about but it would fall under spoilers for more the recent season.

I say a post a while ago that headcannoned that BLHG was into 80's horror movies and for as many good 80's horror movies there were, there were three more b-rated ones made with a pocket money budget.

Not to mention that in the 70's film makers went through a kick of trying to make invisible man movies and let's just say there's a reason nobody remembers those films. Invisibill would get such a kick out of those.

been thinking more about what i want to keep from rebel robin in my portrayal, and i think i have a pretty good idea now??

i want to keep her relationship with her teacher, mr. houser. he was really important to her, and was the first person she had ever met who was like her, who was gay and had a boyfriend. and he had to quit and leave the school because people were starting to find out, and tbh that really affected her.

i want to keep her relationship with barb, as having been childhood friends who grew apart. but she knew barb was a really good, kind person, and was so, so concerned when she went missing.

i want to keep the fact that it’s during this time in her life, specifically between sophomore and junior year that she really figured things out. she realized that she was gay, and that she was different and began to feel a little more okay with that. she began to figure out her own style and her own personality and the person that she really wanted to be.

and ofc her crush on tammy, but that was already a thing in the show, so you know lmao

however, i think i’d kind of like to change her relationship with her parents a little. in show canon, which i consider actual canon, it seems that her mother can be a little critical of her and the way she is. i think robin was still an easy kid who kept to herself, but probably gets into little tiffs here and there with her mom. but i think she’s probably closer with her dad, getting along with him more and having more things in common with him.

i also don’t choose to think she ever realistically thought she was going to go to europe essentially on her own at 16 years old, but i do think she’d really love to travel someday. i also think she did, at the time, especially after seeing mr. houser be run off just for being gay, wanted to get out of hawkins as soon as possible. but i also think that through her friendship with steve and the others in hawkins, that she’s found it in her to be like, yeah you know what? this is okay for now. and to see that she does have a place, and she has people who accept her and care about her, she has friends. she still wants out, of course, but it’s okay for now.

and that’s all i got for now tbh, it’s been a long ass time since i read it lmao

Severely neglected component of modernish rockstar Eddie fics is Robin deciding to become an internet hater for Eddie. Like she finds out Eddie is semi/famous and is like "oh, you know what'll be hilarious?" And makes a twitter account dedicated to dissing him. You cannot convince me she wouldn't. Eddie knows she runs the account (it's not even negative it's just to rag on him. Tweets like "Eddie Munson seems like the kind of guy who would tell his friend he'll get her dr pepper and then get some bullshit knockoff. What the hell is a peppo" and "Eddie Munson has probably gotten so distracted by his SO that he walked into a wall and then was still so distracted said SO thought he was concussed." Or "Jeff is actually the best member of CC Eddie probably walked on cafeteria tables in HS" And of course "everybody says I hate on Eddie too much but they don't know he woke his SOs bff up just to ask if there was any peppo left. tbh i do get a little bothered by the notion that tim took the first shot he had to drop out of school because he hated school and didnt wanna do it and all of that bc i feel like it ignores the probably very important context that he dropped out after his dad (as well as steph-or at least, he was led to believe, in the same week) died, also he was in a school shooting. He did attempt to go to a school in bludhaven but the kids there were so wildly insensitive about the shooting that tim dropped out under the pretense of his "uncle" homeschooling him. In his oyl era, he /did/ go back to school, and it provided him some form of normalcy. Tim was a normal kid, he wasnt crazy about school but he still went to school and it helped him feel like a normal kid, something he desperately clung to. He only dropped out again to do his Brucequest, in an era where he was notably Not Doing Well (which. Yeah. he wasnt doing well bc he was like 17 and almost everyone in his support system was dead, he recently had hits put out on him, got blown up, and backstabbed by his not-dead-ex, he couldnt support his theory that bruce was alive and was extremely stressed about that, and he didnt know wtf he was doing. I love him btw.) Basically tim dropping out of school was a signifier that he wasnt doing well and he was giving up on the normality that he tried to cling to and im a bit of a nitpicky person who gets irked by minor things

one aspect of furina's characterization that's pretty understated but that i really really really love is her intelligence and curiosity. usually in genshin, when a character's intelligence is an important trait of theirs, there are aspects of their design, writing, voice acting, etc, that very clearly tell you "hey this character is smart." albedo, for example, wears a labcoat, is always saying big sciency words in a calm, rational tone of voice, and other characters are always talking about how smart he is

but furina? nothing about her on the surface suggests that she's a "smart" character - quite the opposite, in fact. superficially, she's introduced as a bratty, conceited, overconfident person who actually has no idea what she's doing. we eventually learn in the archon quest that that was all an act, but even after she regains her freedom, nothing about her really seems archetypically intelligent, at least at face value

instead, furina's intelligence is always shown rather than told (the only exception being nahida's voiceline about her). she had an intelligence network across teyvat feeding her information, and we saw in the flashback how she directed researchers to study the prophecy and potential ways of stopping it. before things like lyney's trial or directing the two musketeers, she'd stay up all night planning and piecing things together all on her own. she loves learning new things, she has lines in the teapot about how, when she's interested in something, she wants to become the most knowledgeable person in the topic, and also how she'd like to disassemble the teapot itself to learn how it works, and she's quick to learn new skills (like surfing). and, of course, she's well read, and quite possibly teyvat's foremost expert on the performing arts

i like how furina sort of defies the concept of character archetypes. she's initially presented as an archetypical bratty, dramatic, spoiled popular girl, but that was a role she forced herself into because it's what people expected of her. but the real furina, while still retaining some of the flamboyance from her archon persona, doesn't really fit into a clear mold. she's smart without being a super-genius, and she's kind without being a soft-spoken doormat. it makes her feel multifaceted and real, and i really love that!

anyway, this is why it makes me mad whenever i see people calling furina stupid, cuz she's not!

Can we talk about Ascended Astarion and how he actually seems to be lonelier than ever? If you talk to the non romanced version of him he says that even with all of this power and wealth, he feels lonely. I'm starting to think that this is the sad route just as much as it's the evil route.

If you've romanced him, his whole world now revolves around you, he will lovebomb you and never let you go, if you talk about freedom he gets visibly annoyed and replies with "Gods, not this again." How many times was this discussed before? I'm almost 100% sure that you are never getting out of a relationship with him, ever, if you find a way to die this man will probably scour all of Faerûn for a way to bring you back. Or if you want to go the angsty route.

Once he ascends he pushes everyone away and if tav doesn't agree with him he can easily compel them to, talk about an echo chamber. Afterall, he knows best. Everyone is beneath him, their only purpose is to bow and serve and of course, offer their necks.

It reminds me of something he said before about someone, hmm ~

Everything that has happened up to this point, everything you've gone through with him from act 1 up until he ascends is erased. He is once again closed off, unbelieving of love, belives that every type of relationship is just a transaction, that his former self was pathetic, powerless, undeserving of anything and that everything in this world happens only for power. Power, Power, Power.

Sharing his power and wealth with you, providing you with pleasure, what is all of this, if not, love? (funny, this ties up to act 1n2 again huh, intimacy being only transactional) Oh you wanted, love, love? Honesty, sincerity, respect, mutual understanding and all of that crap? Don't be ridiculous, darling.

He is incredibly pushy about making you his spawn because in that way you will never be able to run away from him, you will be forever his.

I do believe that you are special to him, afterall, you were his first everything. The first living creature's blood was yours and we all know how important and special that is, you were the first one who saw him for who he truly is, you were the first one who he was intimate with for the first time after he escaped and wasn't compelled to do so, he had other motives at the time but we all know he caught feelings soon after, you were the first one who listened to him pour his heart out, you are the first person he's ever truly cared for, you were the one standing by his side when you faced Cazzador, you were the one who helped him with the ritual, you helped him sacrifice all of those souls, you pushed him, you were there through all of it, YOU.

All of this ties up to him being possesive, he's co-dependent on you, always watching, always having his eyes on you, his prized treasure, his beloved pet, his dark consort, the only thing he truly has. You will be together forever, until the world falls down, be it by force or your free will.
