Life Series Headcanon thing.

When a Green or Yellow life dies, their life is cut short as soon as they take a blow they can't recover from, their body poofs into coloured smoke and they respawn in the last place they slept (blah blah blah), however, when a red life dies, they will hold on till their last breath and their body doesn't dissappear. Which is why im inclined to belive the theory that lizzie is still falling in the void in secret life, martyn died in the void because he was yellow and his life was cut short because there was no real way for him to go on. Lizzie however was red, so she was forced to keep falling. And in this version ofc if she didn't acctually die there wouldn't be a death message, but Scott was there so he announced it in chat, which is why no one noticed because there was no thunder.

Fluff for Shadowbeans? Smallishlady? Loel? Whatever, its Lizzie and Joel. no i am NOT including their ship name that starts with a J "I wish for happiness like this forever." Mercenary AU/Lizzie's party (im obsessed w my mercenary au now sorry)

The streamers were hung, the cake was ready, the presents were wrapped, everything was set. Now, all that Joel's missing from Lizzie's party is, well, Lizzie! She had messaged him that she was finishing up stocking her items in Trader Scar's then she'd be over. His house is much closer to Trader Scar's than Lizzie's is so it's a good thing they're celebrating there. There was a soft melodic knock at the door and he practically ran to answer it. "Hey babe." Joel stepped aside to let Lizzie in. "Oh, this is so pink!" She squealed. "D'you like it?" "I love it!" He took her hand in his own and led her to the cake. She dipped her finger in the frosting and licked it off with a smile. "It's so good! Did you make it yourself?" "I might've asked Pearl to help me with it." Joel took a lighter out and started to light the candles on her cake. "Make a wish babe." "Hm..." Lizzie leaned down to the candle and Joel held her hair back for her. "I wish for happiness like this forever." She whispered and blew out the candles. "Now, let's eat!" Joel laughed slightly at her excitement to eat the cake. He took the knife that was sat next to it and cut a slice out for both of them. Lizzie took the serving spatula to put them both on plates and walked them to the table. She sat in one of the seats with one plate in front of her and set the other in front of the seat across from her. Joel got two forks from the silverware drawer and cups out of the cupboard to get them both a glass of milk. He gave Lizzie her milk and fork and sat down across from her. "It's really good!" She smiled after she finished the first bite. "I'm glad you like it. I tried to invite Scar but he said he's on a material run." "Oh, yeah, he ran out of spider eye today." "Why doesn't he hire mercenaries?" "Doesn't want to pay them." Lizzie finished her slice of cake. "Of course he doesn't." Joel chuckled. "You know, I feel like every time I see you, you look slightly different." "Oh- what do you mean?" She laughed nervously. "Well, last time we met up, your eyes seemed like a lighter shade." He finished his slice and gathered their dishes to clean. "Must've been a trick of the light." Lizzie followed him to the sink. "Let me help you." "No, it's alright, it's your birthday. I've got it. Let's open presents first, though." Joel set the dishes in the sink and walked back towards the counter the cake was on with the presents. They finished the day opening presents, having more cake, and planning future date ideas. Joel may have enchanted the cake with elven magic because it wasn't that good when him and Pearl finished making it but Lizzie doesn't need to know. She just needed to have a good birthday.

Lizzie meets Joel in the hospital. She is still going through her horrible illness, and he happens to be a doctor.

While Jimmy's aways being a bodyguard for Mr lover boy Scott over there, Lizzie and Joel fall in love. Like the Nightingale effect.

After Jimmy and Scott run away, they are forced to bring Lizzie, unaware of the Jizzie relationship. Lizzie doesn't tell her brother anything because she wants him to be happy, especially after all the years of taking care of her instead of himself. He deserves happiness.

Joel is totally confused, The Father finds about Lizzies hospital, Jimmy and Scott is worried, and yeah some angst is about to happen.
