no but Munkustrap knowing EXACTLY how to interact with Quasi, Jitterbug, and Quill, because they behave similarly to how Demeter was when she first came to the Junkyard, and it just absolutely breaks his heart to see the same wary, vacant look in their eyes because they are babies who should not look so haunted.

Demeter being one of the only cats that Jitterbug feels safe cuddling up with, tucked against the gold queen as they're sitting in the den????

like Demeter sees SO much of herself in this little scared queen that she can't just not absolutely love and dote on Jitterbug????

Jemima being over the moon at getting more siblings is something i think about constantly, and I fully believe she attaches herself to Jitterbug and Quill because she really wants her new sisters to feel comfortable and safe!!

Quasi slowly asking Munkustrap questions about the Protectors, carefully, because that's how he got hurt by Macavity, by asking too many questions, but Munkustrap being more than happy to explain to his boy how everything works

How would you CATS o.c’s handle humans?

well, Hestia, Quasi, and Miela all have their own humans!

Hestia's human is Katherine, who has been Tugger's human since he was old enough to venture outside the Junkyard, and who became Misto's human as well not long after! Tugger and Misto brought Hestia to her probably a week or so after they found her, and Kath fell completely in love with the little grey kitten. If Tugger is Leo, and Misto is Eclipse, then Hestia is Stella, because Kath absolutely likes keeping her pet names connected (she's just like me fr). Hestia is the MOST cuddly girl with Kath, and unlike Tugger, she loves sitting quietly in Kath's lap whenever she's working on a new project, happily purring.

Quasi's human is Esmeralda. She found him right after he left Macavity and the henchcats, and is the reason he's still alive. She bandaged up all of his wounds, gave him medicine and warm food, and they pretty much adopted each other. She's the one who named him Quasi, and that's the reason he goes by his First Name, because it's the first thing that's ever been his and not tainted by Macavity or the henchcats. He adores his girl more than anything, and Esmeralda loves her sweet boy so much.

Miela's human is a sweet old couple named Bev and Elliot. She's been with them since she was born, Bev and Elliot were her mother's humans as well, so she of course loves them both. They've got grandchildren who stop by on occasion, but Bev and Elliot are Miela's. They're her humans, and her favorite days are when there's nothing much to do on the farm, and she can just curl up next to Bev while she knits, or tuck herself around Elliot's shoulders as he walks through the fields picking flowers for their dinner table.

Jitterbug is very wary around humans, given that her first human family was absolutely awful to her. She barely trusts Esmeralda, and really only tolerates her because of how close Quasi is with her.

you and @afairytalestray both asked for Jitterbug and Quasi backstory, so i'm giving it to you both bc i love my angsty sad kiddos 😭

so my poor Jitterbug has a VERY sad backstory...

she was born in a kitten mill, and was the runt of the litter. she was also a very sickly kitten, so the owner of the mill decided to get rid of her. she was found by a human man, who nursed her back to health and decided to give her to his child as a gift.

her human family was horrible to her. they neglected her and kept her in the pantry for most of the time that she was with them. Jitterbug was bought for the youngest child of the family, who quickly lost interest in her as soon as she started to grow. they treated her as little more than a toy, flinging her around in their arms and holding her uncomfortably tight. Jitterbug's growth was stunted due to the fact that she didn't get enough food, and she ultimately decided to run away from the humans, finding herself on the street.

because of how her humans treated her, Jitterbug is VERY distrustful of humans. she's also very hesitant around other cats, until she meets Quasi. she and Quasi meet almost immediately after Quasi escapes from Macavity, and they find kindred spirits in each other. Quasi sees the little terrified queen who's no bigger than a kitten, and his big brother instincts go into overdrive. he quickly becomes the only cat that Jitterbug trusts, and by extension, the only human Jitterbug comes to trusts is Esmeralda, who understands her fears, and never pushes her past what she's comfortable with.

Quasi is very, very protective of Jitterbug, and he only wants her to be safe and happy. He dotes on her, and in Jitterbug's eyes, her big brother can do no wrong. When they arrive in the Junkyard, Quasi rarely leaves Jitter's side, making sure that she's comfortable, and jitterbug always has Quasi in her sights, wanting to make sure her big brother isn't being harassed or hurt.

Jitterbug and Quasi are each other's platonic soulmate, their each other's other half. Jitterbug is the first to know about Quasi's feelings towards @hufferysnuffery's Antoinette, and he becomes the second cat that she trusts fully, because if her big brother trusts him, then that's good enough for her.

Quill (@rainbowratsstuff) is the ONLY other cat that Jitterbug will let her guard down around. She's her sister, and Jitterbug knows that Quill will never judge her for the things she fears or how she reacts to certain things around them.

Quasi loves his girls SO much it's a little ridiculous

like he's always been a very affectionate cat, but now he has SISTERS that he can DOTE ON and be CUDDLY WITH so it's increased so much

so many cuddle piles, both before and after they join the Jellicles!!

It's usually Quasi at the center of the pile, with Jitterbug and Quill either tucked right up against his side (Jitterbug) or stretched out on top of him (Quill)

Quill is also very protective of Quasi when they first arrive in the Junkyard, because the only information she has on them is that their leader hurt her big brother, so ofc she's going to be defensive

Jitterbug may not look it, but she has her moments where she'll go toe to toe with someone for her siblings. Whether it's standing up for them on the streets or backing them up, she'll absolutely do anything to keep them safe.

Quasi sings them lullabies to get them to go to sleep <3

like, physical affection is so important for them because the three of them didn't grow up with cuddles and nuzzles and snuggles, so they're a very tactile little group

Quill and Jitterbug are two of the only cats who Quasi trusts to be on his blind side, so whenever they're amongst the other Jellicles, one of the girls is always curled up on that side, keeping an eye on things

i have an image in my mind of Quill, Jitterbug, and Quasi sleeping together in their little alley, in the crate that Quasi found and covered with some old blankets to keep some of the chill out. The three of them are sleeping, Quasi stretched out with Jitterbug curled up close against him, and Quill just splayed out across Quasi's back and i'm... so emotional... they love each other so much... a little found family all their own...

Tumbletta (Tumblebrutus and Hestia):

"Friends Don't" by Maddie & Tae will ALWAYS be one of the main songs I associate with Tumblebrutus and Hestia. Their relationship is the ultimate pining childhood friends to lovers, it just takes a while for them to confess their feelings because they don't want to ruin their relationship with their favorite person.

also, "Love" by Nancy Adams is 100% a Tumbletta song, it's just so sweet and soft, and I can absolutely see tha being the song Tumblebrutus and Hestia dance to at their wedding 😭

ok ok one more because i have way too many for my beloved OTP, and because i just thought of this one after rereading some of our Human AU ideas, "All I Ask of You" from Phantom just SCREAMS Tumbletta, it's the two of them after confessing their feelings, they're just giggly and holding hands, and being so sappy and in love with each other. also bc you know why 👀

the first one is "Something Good" from The Sound of Music, it's just the ultimate Quasinette song, for when the two of them are finally safe and away from Macavity's clutches, just holding each other as tightly as possible, and realizing that "oh shit, we're here, we're okay, how do i deserve you?"

How did Hestia and Tumblebrutus’s romance start? I’m literally so invested (tumble’s a personal favorite) and I can see Val just chuckling and looking at her sister after getting a vision of them together, and just telling her not to worry about it if she asks what she was laughing at <3

So, Hestia and Tumblebrutus met when they were kittens! Alonzo brought his brothers into the Junkyard, and Hestia was the one who managed to get Tumblebrutus out of his shell and really express themselves. They were basically attached at the hip from day one.

Tumblebrutus was the first of the kittens to know that Hestia's bio father was Macavity, mainly because he was there for her first panic attack after her magic manifested for the first time. He, being the absolute sweetheart that he is, just hugged his best friend as tightly as he could, and made sure that she knew that no matter what, she's always be his firecracker, and he'd always be her patches.

they definitely danced around each other as they got older and realized that their feelings for each other were no longer just platonic. it was very much a "i really really love them but their friendship is the most important thing in my life so if i get this wrong i lose them so i'm just not going to say anything and suffer" sort of thing, which 100% drove their families absolutely insane, because everyone could see that the two of them were head over heels for each other.

Tumblebrutus told Hestia his feelings first, took her to their spot in the Junkyard, and stumbled and stammered out a very sweet confession that had Hestia tearing up, and she just hugged him close and whispered that she loved him too, that he was her person, and the two of them walked back into the main stage area holding paws, and Pouncival was the MOST excited and started running around screaming because he knew they'd finally get their heads out of their asses and talk!!

and dance moves for my main four ocs!!!

Hestia 100% takes after her papa and loves doing pirouettes!! think the black swan solo in "swan lake", that's exactly how i imagine she'd perform after taking over the role as main magical cat of the Junkyard!!

Quasi's signature dance move is barrel turns, bc he's dramatic and Like That, and i just think that move fits his energy SO perfectly

Miela's is a pas de chat, which makes me laugh, but it's such a delicate and light move that i think it fits her very well! i can see her dancing with Cori and using that move <3

Jitterbug's is a brisé, mainly because she's a very shy and skittish cat, so she doesn't usually join in at the Ball, but she'll dance with her siblings if they want her to!

I imagine Quill, Quasi and Jitterbug ration a lot of their food. They keep little bits and pieces in their den just incase because they're not used to being able to eat as much as they like

even though they're safe, Quasi still going a few days without eating because he's positive there won't be enough, and he's okay with a growling stomach for a little while as long as it means his girls will go to bed with full bellies 😭

i'll do this for my main four OCs, Hestia, Quasi, Jitterbug, and Miela!!

Why did you decide to make an OC?

well, Hestia (as i've said so many times before that i'm pretty sure people are sick of me saying lmao) started as another OC for a cats crossover au i was writing, and it had been forever since i had created an OC, and Cats was the first fandom in forever that i had really felt interested in making an OC!

Quasi and Jitterbug were just for fun, but now Quasi's my beloved darling boy and probably my most favorite OC after Hestia!

Miela was made bc i loved the inspiration from her, and i had been wanting to make just a really sweet OC who didn't have a close connection with the Jellicles!

How did you come up with their name?

Hestia: greek mythology is about 50% of my personality, so when i was thinking about a good OC name, i thought about how much i loved Demeter and Cassandra's names, and wanted to go off of the goddess naming theme! Hestia is probably my favorite goddess, so it just fit so perfectly!

Quasi and Jitterbug: they're both the same reasoning! there was an OC generator going around the fandom like three years ago that i used, and their names popped up!! i loved them immediately.

Miela: so there was a picture going around of a cat on a tractor, and i was instantly like "ok new oc" and was thinking of a name, and thought "oh a beekeeper cat would be cool!" and remembered that the spanish word for honey is "miel", so i used that for her name!

Are they modeled after any specific breed?

Hestia: Nebelung/Maine Coon mix

Quasi: Bengal

Miela: Turkish Angora

Jitterbug: Siamese

Are you in a rp with the oc?

i stopped rp'ing with my OCs a little while ago. all my OC blogs are still open and active, but i just haven't really felt up to rp'ing, mainly due to things that have happened within the fandom and people i usually rp with being inactive

Why did you pick the design (colors, patterns, fur, etc)?

Hestia: so, Hestia's primarily grey with red stripes! The grey is from her mama, Serafina, who's an all-grey Nebelung. The red is from her bio dad, Macavity, because i wanted to add a little of his red/ginger fur for her. Hestia have heterochromia was a sort of out of the blue decision, but she's got a blue eye and an amber eye. They're inherited from Serafina and Macavity, respectively, but Hestia sees her eyes as being things she's inherited from her dads, the blue from Mistoffelees (and her mama), and the amber from Tugger! It helps her to separate herself more from Macavity.

Quasi: with him, his design came from the generator, but i added little things, like his fur coloring (which i just like the idea of him being the most unassuming little brown cat) and adding the scar on his nose. his missing eye + tail were part of the generated design, so i just built that into his backstory!

Miela: she's honey-colored, i feel like it's a bit explanatory lol

Jitterbug: again, her design came from the generator! i didn't change much about it, the only thing that i'd change now is the fact that she's not an adult, she's still a kitten!

How does your OC react to and handle stress?

Isis stress-sews! She'll gather up all the fabric in her den that's been sitting around, collected over the past few months, and just climb onto her bed and sew. Jenny stress-knits, and sometimes they do it together, just sitting in silence and working until the stress is gone, or until their yarn and fabric is all gone.

How does your OC handle grief?

gotta do Hestia for this one bc i put my baby girl THROUGH IT

so she knows what happened to her mama and siblings, but she doesn't fully understand how to feel about it until she's a little bit older.

It's simple things that make her face her grief and the feelings of loss. It's when she watches Demeter playing with Jemima, sees how Jelly and Amunet cuddle Coricopat, Tantomile, Pouncival, and Tumblebrutus into their arms, sees Jennyanydots peppering Etcetera and Electra's faces with kisses. It's when she sees Pouncival giggling and bouncing around his siblings, Munkustrap and Tugger moving around one another with an ease that's almost unsettling, Mistoffelees and Victoria practicing their dances.

That's when the realization hits her, that she's never going to be able to cuddle with her mother, or play with her siblings, and that's what hurts Hestia.

She tries to bottle it up, because she can't bear making her fathers feel sad or feel like they're not enough. But Tugger and Mistoffelees know their daughter, and all they can do is hold her while she cries, and while they know that they'll never fill that hole in her heart, they can hopefully give her enough love to make up for that loss.

And when Halloween comes around, instead of setting Hestia back in that grieving process, it helps her even more, because she gets to cuddle her mama, she gets to play and giggle and talk to her brothers and sisters

What is your OC’s greatest fear?

Quasi's greatest fear is losing his family to Macavity

Jitterbug's greatest fear is being abandoned

Garbo's greatest fear is Asparagus Jr. and Gus disappearing from her life again

Serafina's greatest fear is losing her family to Macavity already happened

What are some of your OC’s morals?
