Jerry Laymon Falwell Sr. (August 11, 1933 – May 15, 2007) was an American Independent Baptist pastor, televangelist, and conservative activist. I was looking at stuff on a Disney news website, and it always annoys and saddens me about how hateful Disney fans seem. There's this book I read in college the book of Jerry Falwell and they did this really in depth look at the language and it was an ethnography of his organization.

Like obviously its not just baptists that are politically motivated (think the mormons too) but like do some digging into his wiki and you'll see what I mean. especially with the moral majority shit.
