1926: “This girl has all of [the] trends and she’s not loath to wear them at once: bell earrings, a dog collar worn as a necklace, a large beauty spot on her cheek, an ivory cigarette holder, a design to cover the vaccination mark on her arm, heavy bracelets, an anklet, a photo of a boyfriend on her stocking, an anklet watch, fancy garters worn below the knee and a mirror fastened to her wrist.”
Waiting for wristwatch anklets to make a comeback

Danny, aged down, little to now memory of who he was, ends up with the Waynes.
Jazz, seeing her missing little brother on TV with them comes to one obvious conclusion.
Another insane billionaire got ahold of her brother.
So she goes to Gotham to try and get him back, by any means necessary.

If you're looking for background music for studying and relaxing, I highly recommend taking a listen to Nemo's Dreamscapes on Youtube.
This channel is all about relaxation, stress relief, concentration and comfort. And all of this is done with audio stimulation and beautiful visuals crafted specially to give you the best vibes and feelings. Nemo's Dreamscapes uses vintage music from the 1920s to the 1950s in their videos that span from 2 to 6 hours. Each video is beautifully edited to feel like a dream sequence. This channel has been a great help for me personally for doing work or winding down, and I really wanted to share their work with everyone!
Check them out <3

So I'm interested in old fashion magazines and how they illuminate women's lives and interests. These are from the Pictorial Review, which advertised sewing patterns for the home seamstress.
In 1928, swirly circular skirts and drapery were just beginning to soften the severe lines of Art Deco fashions.
March, 1928 Pictorial Review Magazine, showing 5 spring styles
“PARIS SAYS Prints Animate the Spring Fashion Scene”
A rather severe grey and navy two-piece ensemble with pleated skirt and tight grey cloche hat
A green dress, “Paris - Groult”,  with diagonal seam interest and a circular skirt, darker green bows at left waist and left shoulder, green cloche hat w/ turned-up brim
A transparent print dress of little red flowers on white, over a white slip, drapery on the right hip & left shoulder, red ribbon trim on the hems, matching red garden hat (wide brim)
A translucent cadet-blue crepe dress with printed medallions and navy trim, waist sash with bow & drapery on left hip, “Paris - Molyneux”, with a matching navy blue hat with turned-up brim
A “Paris - Doeuillet” dress of translucent grey-and-white abstract coraline print with a two-tiered circular skirt and transparent voile cuffs and collar and loosely woven straw or net hat with a wide brim at the sides and back only

I’ve heard of one man bands, but this is ridiculous… if there are two things I love, it’s old band photos and silent comedians, so undoubtedly this one is a home-run. Buster Keaton, circa 1930. That’s my best guess based on the presence of a Cliff Edwards Tenortrope (if I’m not mistaken, Dobro started making those in 1930)- a particularly cool detail. A pal of mine out in New Orleans has got one- as a Cliff Edwards fanatic, I’d kill to get my mitts on one.
