Cersei and Brienne I am so, so sorry that people in this fandom have madonna-whore complexed you two. I'm so sorry that your characters and arcs have been reduced to you being the devil and angel on Jaime's shoulder. You deserve so much better than how you're perceived by this misogynistic fandom 🙏🏾

Check out the dipsh*t Twincester that just had to respond to my post simply to leave a crack comment from the point of someone who actually ships Jaime and Cersei on Braime material, or in other words someone who didn’t understand any tiny bit of the story at all! The entire world is laughing at these people. Twincesters are the laughing stock of fandom! 😂😆🤣😂😆🤣

So much ping-pong-ing between Rhaegar and Aerys/Tywin/Gregor that most people forget the Rebels were always going to kill those children - Tywin/Gregor just saved them half a face in having Robert/Jon Arryn/Ned Stark only condoning it instead of carrying out the deed themselves. (Jaime literally spells it out but he's only considered as spelling out "hard truths" when it's about Aerys - a Targaryen - only).
After the Trident, Ned went on South to "win Robert a throne". Robert's claim/ascension couldn't exist or mentain itself as long as they were alive, the boys in particular. Aegon was always going to die (and Viserys if they caught him). At the hands of the "good" Rebels, yes. The girls might be valuable to strengthen the claims of Robert's sons, perhaps. But you'll really have people wistfully dreaming about "Rhaenys living" and portray her as hating her Targaryen family and somehow not the Rebels? (Yes, including Ned Stark, because, yes, Starks would be monsters to her, too). They would have killed her baby brother and forced Joffrey on her. They would force her into marriage to carry children for them as they eventually would've Sansa.
As to it being all due to Rhaegar, people sure love to theorise about what the whole alliances moves among the Lords meant even before that (because out with the nasty Targs, yay!) and not the fact that...it always meant killing the babies, too. Yes, it eventually all happened in a hurry in response to Aerys' actions, but think: Brandon>Catelyn>Ned>Arryn>Robert>Lyanna (+Tywin trying to get on with Lysa>Jaime). They are all circling Robert, the one who would push a Targaryen ancestry claim later on. Not a "give us Aerys and Rhaegar/justice and then innocent Aegon can have his throne".
I saw this post about "Ned can only be seen as kind as long as you don't have Theon's side of things" because Theon is one of the child victims in between the squabbles to give to and keep Robert's throne. And Ned would have killed him, if needed, and everyone needs to accept it.
But it is the same with Aegon and Rhaenys. People are getting so lost in the fact that he feels sorry about it and the fact that he won't stand for the murder of Daenerys' literal baby, or hiding Jon, and of Cersei's in older age, that the truth slips through: it is guilt; it is not wanting to be complicit in child murder again. (And with Cersei's children is blurred lines, because he will be the one lawfully and dutifully setting Robert on them and knows his "fury will follow them to the end of earth").

okay but what if homelander stumbled into an alternate reality somehow where he met the female version of himself? would they hate each other at first or just skip straight to the wild, unhinged supe sex? lmao
according to my personal fantasies it’s pretty immediate unhinged supe sex
I waffle on this all the time! how they would react to each other! I think there’s a case to be made for her resenting how he’s the ideal male privileged American hero that she was supposed to be, depending on how you spin her upbringing. both of them would be threatened by meeting someone exactly as powerful as them. it could turn ugly fast, especially if he’s a fuckin misogynist about it and underestimates her.
on the other hand that might be why she’s immediately into him. kind of like a Cersei/Jaime situation, you know? where the foundation of her attraction to him is about how he is her ideal self in a world where she is held back in a lot of ways by her gender. they would also both be drawn in by another person with such an innate core understanding of them.
they either try to kill each other or they fuck nasty… maybe both.

If I had a nickel every time, I came across a post that said it's Elia's mom's fault for what happened to her I would have enough money to buy myself double quarter pounder from McDonalds. I swear these people will blame anyone for Rhaegar's actions but Rhaegar himself. Their argument is that mama Martell should have known better than to marry off her sickly daughter to the crown prince cause she would've had to have as many children as possible. Okay then why aren't they criticizing Aerys for choosing a sickly wife for his son? Where's the "A wiser king would've chosen a healthier wife for his heir" comments? I think they just don't want a woman of color having ambitions and goals.
I think the implication here is some “when you play the game of thrones you win or you die” type argument because of the *speculated* beef between the Ruling Lady of Dorne & Tywin Lannister.
Which again just falls a part on a deeper analysis. It’s made pretty clear throughout the text that Tywin always had designs on seeing Cersei be a Queen.
The same does not apply to the ruling Lady of Dorne, she very liberally allows *some* level of freedom to all three of her children in choosing a spouse. We know she had designs on Jaime & Cersei because of her previous love with Joanna. An alliance that would have served Tywin but unfortunately fell through. There is never stated to be designs on a Queenship.
When The ruling lady of Dorne got the call for Elia as a bride for Rhaegar whether that came from Rhaella or Aerys is unknown but why shouldn’t she say yes? Lol. Rhaegar by all reports would have been a spectacular catch. This obsession with prophecy wasn’t common knowledge beyond the prince being bookish and what’s wrong with that? Why shouldn’t Elia be Queen if given the chance?
The argument on Elia’s health falls through because Elia has two children in a very short time. I don’t want to get into the (women birthing argument) because it’s nasty gross and misogynistic but she *does her duty* by House Targaryen in an heir and a spare. Rhaella in comparison has one son for many years and I don’t see anyone in the fandom crying over her lack of rights to her Queenship? It’s safe to say Elia met expectations and that argument needs to go.
Elia was going to have to be wed one way or another and why not to the best match of all? Elia’s mother should have said no to appease Tywin’s bruised ego? Or the ego of the many Rhaelyas who are delusional enough to think Lyanna was ever in the running to be bride of the crown prince ?
They definitely hate to see a woc having ambition and making power plays and it’s gross af that’s why they love the Rhaegar & Lyanna footrest Elia fanfics.
But no Elia’s demise was a result of Tywin’s moral decay and a dash of Targaryen madness.

While GRRM definitely did not intend for it to be there, what’s your opinion on the possible Trans!Masc reading of Cersei?
She does express desire to be a man a couple of times in text…
I think it's a completely valid interpretation, although it's not mine.
Imho Cersei wants power, and believes that only her gender has kept her from having more of it. Which... yeah, if Cersei were born male she'd have been the heir, not Jaime, and she wouldn't have to deal with misogyny. Queen or not, she wants the type of power that only men are allowed to wield
But I don't see that as Cersei being trans; she doesn't see herself as male, or want to be a man for body/gender reasons, only for power. Cersei's got a lot of nasty internalized misogyny, but she doesn't exactly think highly of men either, as she tells Tyrion...
"Perhaps I'm dangerous too. You, on the other hand, are as big a fool as every other man. That worm between your legs does half your thinking."
ACOK, Tyrion XII

I can't with Targ stans saying they're happy Alicent's kids are messed up unlike Rhaenyra and Daemon's because people can't blame their craziness on the incest. I even saw some arguing it was the fault of the Hightower blood from Alicent "tainting" the pure Valyrian blood of Viserys that their children turned out ugly and weird. Truly it will never not be creepy how Targ stans justify and love their favorite house practice of incest and blood purity.
This last episode should have been a lesson to those fans and their collective brain cell. None of these relationships are healthy or aspirational- Aegon's utter aversion to his own union is the sanest he's ever been. Your perfectly normal uncle grooming his niece love story just had him throttling her in rage. "Incest is normal for Targs! It's different for them!" Obsession with the purity of their bloodline through incest and their belief in their superiority is the reason half these Targs are off their rocker. It has done nothing but cause the decline and ruin of their house long term. It's kept them insulated, delusional and so nasty, that they were eradicated after just 300 years in Westeros- a house with dragons! Incest is not and will never be portrayed as something good or normal.
Everyone could see it with how deranged Viserys was made to sound in AGoT, talking about his own sister bearing his children to keep the blood of the dragon pure. We all got it when it was Jaime/Cersei and the destruction that ensued from their union. And they will eventually get it when we never get their incestuous Targaryen restoration in the books.

Jaime: calls Cersei “queen of whores” and Taena Merryweather, a “Myrish whore”.
The fandom: He’s such a feminine girlcoded and bride-coded marxist feminist.
At least, I understand why a lot of Jaime’s stans became Aemond’s and Criston’s stans.
Jamie slander in my inbox, finally!
I'll never stop whacking him because he's an asshole in canon and his stans insist he's this pure, pathetic, virtuous man who has just been forced into difficult situations. His "redemption arc" is just him not being as shitty as he could've been in a few situations. Every time I see "teenage girl-coded" I have to laugh because people have more sympathy for shitty male characters than the actual young female characters in the story. It makes sense that their fave is Jamie though, cause they turn right around and copy his misogyny. The amount of misinterpretation Cersei faces from Jamie stans is so ridiculous. Everything bad that ever happened to him is because Cersei is evil, whoring, and manipulative 🙄. The Jaime stan -> to Criston, Aegon, Aemond stan pipeline is very real. It's a specific way that male characters are treated that rolled over to the HOTD fandom. As long as their stans can find one sympathetic thing about their characters then that becomes an excuse for everything they've ever done. This fandom needs to normalize liking characters for how they're written instead of the woobification they can project onto them.

THE DEVIL, reversed, Robert Baratheon and Rhaegar Targearon
Rhaena might have wed Robert, or his brother, if not for her father's paranoia. A Baratheon cousin with Targaryen blood might have seemed the perfect solution.
But by the time Rhaena was six-and-ten and serious considerations for her marriage were being made, her father had grown suspicious of Steffon Baratheon and believed he might be scheming with Tywin Lannister for his throne.
Any suits from Storm's End were privately rejected, and Rhaena remained unwed for another three years, until at nine-and-ten her father finally decided she would marry Monford Velaryon.
Monford had the Valyrian look, or near enough to it; pale blonde hair and startling dark blue eyes, very similar to Rhaena's own indigo. Sun-tanned from the sea, tall and handsome, he seemed a suitable bridegroom. Besides that, the Velaryons, while still wealthy and powerful, were nowhere near the sea power they had once been.
So Rhaena wed Monford, and he gave her a daughter, Alyssa, and then he died, drowned in a storm while returning to Driftmark from a visit to Tarth. To hear her father tell it, Steffon Baratheon himself conjured up the storm to kill his daughter's husband so he might put his own son in her bed.
Lord Tywin did not exactly dissuade him of the notion, and went so far as to propose that Rhaena wed his son Jaime, who was at the time a twelve year old squire.
Her father rejected the suit with a sneer, and similarly rebuked the Princess of Dorne for proposing that Rhaena wed her second son Prince Oberyn, who at the time was carving himself a bloody reputation as a sellsword overseas.
But the lords of the realm insisted- with some trepidation- that Aerys consider another marriage for Rhaena, for beyond her there was only her brother Viserys, then a mere toddler, who might not survive childhood.
Ser Arthur Dayne had begged the King to appoint him to the Kingsguard. Instead Aerys married him to his daughter. Rhaena didn't love Monford, nor he he her.
They were civil with one another from the earliest days of their betrothal, but he called her melancholy and stiff behind her back, and she thought him arrogant and mocking. Arthur, she did come to care for, though she does not know if it was romantic love.
It was passionate in that he made her the Maiden in his mind, and so the marriage was in some ways excruciating for him, because he was certain he was committing some profane sin. Ser Ilyn Payne, before her father had his tongue out, japed that Arthur behaved so awkwardly around the Princess that it was almost as if she were his sister.
Arthur gave her another daughter, Dyanna. Then there was that nasty business at Harrenhal, and her father became convinced the lords of the realm were all conspiring against him- Stark and Tully and Baratheon- and in truth, they likely were, though not via strange mystery knights- and arrests were ordered and heads were called for and the rebellion began.
Arthur died at the Trident. Robert Baratheon came back. Men led by Gregor Clegane, who Arthur knighted with such reverence, came to kill her and her daughters, she imagines because Tywin Lannister wants his Cersei for Robert's queen, but Gerold Hightower and Oswell Whent died defending her and the girls, and now those men are dead.
So now Rhaena sits with her daughters in a small tower room. Alyssa is four, towheaded like her father, with his huge dark blue eyes. Dyanna is only six moons old, swaddled in Rhaena's arms, what little hair she has jet black.
She has had strange dreams since she was young, Rhaena, which she never could make head nor tails of, but she dreamed she would light three great fires in her life.
Once for life, once for death, and once for love. She had always imagined the first fire was the one that brought her into the world, at Summerhall, and that the second was Monford's funeral pyre- or mayhaps Arthur's? The third, she does not know. She may never know.
Robert Baratheon looks at her. Rhaena looks at him. Alyssa is sniffling but Dyanna is silent, as stoic as her father.
She assumes if they are to be killed, it will be done so quietly and quickly, before it becomes common knowledge that the rebels hold the princess and her daughters prisoner. Then public outcry would be to much to explain away the slaughter of an unarmed noblewoman and two little girls.
Robert does not look murderous- but then, he does not look pleased to see her alive, either.
"Your father is dead," he says, perhaps waiting for her to crumple and scream. As if she was not aware of what Ser Jaime had gone to do. "Where are your mother and brother?"
Rhaena smiles faintly; does he have to ask?
"Dragonstone," she says.
"Why did you not join them?"
"My father feared my husband would betray him at the final hour, if my safety was assured."
Robert's expression mottles with disbelief. "Aerys threatened to kill his own daughter? His grandchildren? You are lying, woman."
"My father only threatened," she says. "Your Lord Lannister did much more. It is already seeping through the city streets."
She is playing a dangerous game there, accusing the man who helped Robert take the city of attempted murder. But it doesn't matter.
If Tywin tried once, he will try again, and Robert is not a moron. He will need to weigh carefully if his hatred for her father- who seized and executed his- can overpower his own sense of public opinion.

If AGOT had Joffrey as 16 years old do you think he’d be an aegon?
guessing you mean Aegon II? I think he'd be worse than the Aegon we see in HOTD, just because I think whilst the Aegon we meet in 1.08 has clearly grown into a nasty piece of work, he still seems like he'd defer to characters like Otto, maybe Alicent, maybe Aemond. He's also not quite sadistic, rather just carelessly cruel.
Joffrey is different though: he is actively sadistic, and wants power so he can be moreso. Also he's aware of the power he has and knows that the older he gets, the more he can wield it, so I think he'd be much worse than Aegon without serious intervention (and I don't think that comes in the form of Tywin, who imo is only interested in Joffrey's power on the political stage and the public performance of it)
I do wonder what kind of person he'd have grown to be away from Cersei/Robert/Tywin though. Like if Jaime had realised his role as a father sooner and taken a similar approach to what he advocates for Tommen ('if he asks you to kill his horse you come to me'/reprimanding the KG for doing everything Joffrey told them like beating Sansa) maybe Joffrey would've been somewhat salvageable?? Who knows but it's an interesting au imo....

What asoiaf/got ships/dynamics that aren't from the dance of dragons era do you like?
ANON, thank you for this question, i could spend hours here talking about that actually, and i apologize in advance for the longest answer to an ask ever seen in this blog <3
so, i think the main answer to that is: i love all the dynamics of house lannister, from AGoT onwards. (i like problematic, abusive families???) jaime and cersei reflecting each other's perfection in a sea of shared grief until jaime loses his hand and the mirror shatters; tyrion's devotion to jaime, the way they are tied together through a lie until the moment jaime cuts the thread off. the friendship between tyrion and penny is so so so important to me, too.
i love, love, love, the ghost of joanna, the what-if that haunts everything, and how it impacts tyrion's life, how he's been forced to carry this blame and associate this blame to his disability... the everlasting impact tywin imprinted in each one of them through consistent abuse that they repeat and pass onto other people, and how they have to literally dissociate to handle the trauma. i i love the weight of the valonqar prophecy. how cersei is delusional and paranoid thinking it's about tyrion because she is too blind to realize that her downfall is right in the mirror, right there in the face of her twin - that is, her own face.
i love how the prophecy creates this rift between cersei and tyrion, because cersei is the only person who could make tyrion feel truly loved, if she could just let go of tywin's ways. where cersei goes, jaime follows; together, the three of them could have a chance to protect each other. but they don't protect each other! they harm each other in horrible ways! how could cersei escape her father? this god-like figure, larger than life? and so she hates tyrion. she shapes her heart after tywin's; she doesn't know any other way. jaime tries to control the damage, but he can't escape tywin either, no one can, so he inflicts more damage on tyrion in tywin's name by lying about tysha. he makes his little brother believe he will never be loved and, by doing that, through terror and shame and guilt, he cages tyrion in the confines of house lannister, too.
jaime tries to run, then, by joining the kingsguard: he doesn't want to be tywin's golden heir. but then, he is stuck in a court where the king rapes his wife and wants to set the world on fire. he is seventeen, the king is mad, his father is at the gates: jaime can't escape tywin - or rather, he can’t escape his own heart, shaped after tywin, and what he decides to do then haunts him for the rest of his life. (i'm not saying it wasn't heroic of him to save the city; but the timing was just too convenient for house lannister. as were the methods. as were the people he chose to save, and the people he chose not to.) and the war is over, at last. cersei is going to be queen! all she ever wanted! but the new king is not the prince she dreamed of. to ensure house lannister's power, her father marries her off to another man, a man who abuses her over and over. all jaime wanted was to stay in court with his sister. now they are finally there together, but jaime is watching his twin, his queen: married with a violent king and unable to do anything to protect her. a joke of a knight. none of them can escape house lannister's grasp, until tyrion finally breaks free, in the most chaotic way possible. when tyrion kills tywin, he kills the only god he and his siblings ever knew. this quote lives in my head rent-free:
Snatch scratched at his stubble with the point of his hook. "Nasty thing, a crossbow. How many men you kill with that?"
"Nine." His father counted for at least that many, surely. Lord of Casterly Rock, Warden of the West, Shield of Lannisport, Hand of the King, husband, brother, father, father, father.
sorry, i’m never getting over this; tywin is their whole world???? he is a multitude of men? tyrion repeats father three times, one for cersei, one for jaime, one for himself, he thinks there’s no space tywin doesn’t fill and now that tywin is dead the world is kind of void, empty. that’s religious! he is speaking as someone who abandoned his faith, who apostatized!!! (my friend @thistle-and-thorn has a theory that tyrion’s arc in ADWD is just grrm processing the lost of his catholic faith and his journey toward atheism. she can explain it better, but i think there’s good arguments for that.) WHY WOULD GEORGE DO THAT TO ME????
anyway, tyrion leaves house lannister, but house lannister doesn’t leave him, as it often happens when you abandon your faith: there’s something that lingers. tyrion acts as a monster: he acts like tywin made him. he is not a well-behaved victim. he doesn't mourn and suffer prettily. how could he? after a lifetime of being lied to, of being told he is unlovable, and finding out he wasted the only true love he ever had? no, tyrion is not going to be merciful; he is paying back in the only currency house lannister knows and the only language they understand. lannisters only speak in debts. he is going to be the one to destroy house lannister after all; he's already begun..... and each one of them are really just reaping what tywin sowed.
just... house lannister, man.
i think the future of the lannisters is being utterly destroyed and i want to watch my favorite dysfunctional family burning in despair in the aftermath of their own decisions so badly. like, i just want to see tywin's legacy destroyed, ashes on the ground. i am going to DANCE on tywin's grave when it happens. and if tyrion can’t let go of the tywin that lingers in his heart, he will go down with it? that remains to be seen, though, and i hope meeting Dany will start the process of his healing.
ok. i am VERY sorry about this crazy lannister moment. let's move on.
i love the relationship between tyrion and sansa. i'm completely obsessed with this doomed, horrible marriage. not that i think anything should or could have happened when sansa was a child-hostage in king's landing!! but i like the story being told through them: how tyrion embodies, at once, the knighthood that sansa dreams of (by trying to protect her from joffrey's abuse, by not raping her. 'i am only a little lion, and i vow: i shall not savage you' was literally one of the first thing he's ever said to her!!) and the abuse she suffers on virtue of being a maid (by being forced to marry him, and her overall situation as a hostage of his family); how sansa is a sort of projection of tysha (i've angrily ranted about it here) at the same time he is painfully aware that sansa represents a life he will never have (a family that loves him, a wife that wants him). how sansa wants to be loved but thinks no one will ever marry her for love, only for her claim, at the same time tyrion is thinking he doesn't want winterfell only, he wants her, he wanted a chance of a true marriage with her. and yet, they CAN'T communicate. they can't, it's impossible, like that pathetic scene of overcooked peased and mutton: sansa is too afraid, tyrion is too aware of her disgust for him, there's a fracture between them that cannot be healed or crossed. but they are together in this in a weird way; they are alone together. i think this was one of the few things i liked about the show - i didn't like tyrion's overall whitewashing, but that particular adaptation was made with george's approval and it makes sense in the light of the books. they depicted sansa and tyrion as some sort of tragic team-up in king's landing, as each other's allies in the saddest way possible - because it is a fruitless alliance. it leads nowhere: tyrion is not going to rape her, so their marriage won't give him lannister children; he is protecting her but effectively keeping her in the lannister household so he is not... really, actually saving her (no one escapes tywin, etc). without children, neither of them are going to be given winterfell. it is a barren marriage, a pointless island of safety, but it's what they could do with what they had in hand, that is, each other. and something about this is deeply moving to me? i think there's a lot of hidden kindness in this ship. they break my heart. in every universe, they do, and i have tried not to ship them! but i can't!! they are very compelling from a narrative point of view. that being said, i don't think they will ever be happy together, and that's kind of the reason why i ship them in the first place. i look forward to them meeting again in the books, though. they are my ultimate one true pairing, unfortunately. we don't get to choose who we ship.
i love jaime and brienne. i love how brienne forces jaime to confront his failures and his flaws. i love how she is, in all ways that matter, the anti-cersei: she is not there to reflect his own image back to him; she is everything he wishes he could be one day. she exposes him, she touches his deepest wounds, by simply existing and doing her thing. i think it's supposed to have romantic undertones and i ship them that way, but even without the romance, i still think it's one of the most important relationships of the series. (also love podrick, their adopted son, with uncle tyrion in the family??? like? oh my God: i think tyrion should be everyone's uncle.)
they never met in the books, but after so many intentional narrative parallels i am convinced george wants me to get deeply invested in jon/dany/tyrion. he demanded that of me, personally, he came into my house. these three are going to save the world and rule together. or they will all die in the war or kill themselves in the process; i don't know anymore. all i know is that they'll meet and it will be THE event of the asoiaf series. i particularly have a very soft spot for tyrion/jon? their interactions in AGoT warm me on cold nights; jon's young curiosity about tyrion, tyrion's harsh kindness...
and, because i am crazy about the lannisters: i’m sorry, but given the intentional parallels that grrm created between dany & cersei (different approach to women in power and how to handle your fire weapons no, i don’t think dany is the mad queen of the series) and the obvious similarities between jon & jaime (different approaches to what it means to keep your oaths and break them and being honorable), YOU UNDERSTAND HOW JON/DANY/TYRION IS THE FOUND FAMILY THAT JAIME/CERSEI/TYRION COULD NEVER BE???? *going crazy again and running in circles*
i do believe everything is about house lannister, yes. when i said we were moving on from them, i LIED, i was lying.
let’s try again. moving on!!
sansa is the character i relate to the most: the way she sees the world as a story, a tale, and people as characters in it, with these predetermined roles? and the shattering of this worldview as she finds out that people don't play their part? so with that in mind: the parallels between sansa/ned and sansa/littlefinger is something that i often think about. in the end of the books i believe it will be clear that sansa is, and has always been, ned's daughter, and not petyr's. the parallels and similarities between ned and sansa overwhelm me (this idealism is present in ned's chapters, too, a lot). i think the way grrm inserted petyr there to expose this rift in sansa's character was brilliant: is she going to be ned's daughter and hold on to honor, to kindness, to love through loyalty, to the hidden truth in every ideal she's learned even though the world is not ideal (all the songs can't be lies)? is she going to be petyr's daughter and live in a liquid world based on lies, on cynicism, assuming the worst of everyone and using everyone as pieces on a board? it's where she is now, as alayne. but it's not how she's going to end, i hope? (don't get me wrong; i love petyr/sansa, it's a ship i relate to a lot, unfortunately. and it's so wonderfully written! but i very much want sansa to kill petyr one day. i want all my faves killing their abusive fathers!! hello alicent?!? get it over with girl)
they haven't met yet in the books, but when sansa and brienne meet, i think i will legitimately cry. (something something the lady and her knight)
bran is my second favorite character, and the friendship between him, meera and jojen is the most precious thing to be defended and protected at all costs. it's just too pure. like, the only not-problematic dynamic of this list, full of incest, underage pairings, daddy issues and abusive relationships. bran, jojen and meera are rays of sunshine.
and it's weird, but i have very specific headcanons about lyanna and benjen being the closest among their siblings - everyone talks about lyanna and ned, because he went to war for her and adopted her son, but benjen literally grew up with her when ned and brandon left to be fostered in the Vale? he mourned her loss so much that he took the black when she died? 🥺 everyone out there competing for lyanna's attention, going to war and trying to prove they loved her more than ALL THE OTHERS, and benjen just. couldn't live in winterfell without her. he just quietly went away and no one knows why? i think about that, sometimes.
ok, there's more. this list keeps growing, but these are the faves that consume my time and energy. THANK YOU FOR ASKING. i am SO SORRY about the length of this, it’s just..... i love talking about the blorbos!!! i'd love to know yours, please tell me about them.
