I have a lot of fun making AU!(Alternate Universe) KouxTai {Koushiro x Taichi} A.M.V. edits. (Sometimes they even actually work as gif-set edits, kind of.) These were some of my favorite moments from this A.M.V.

The footage I can use isn’t always in highest quality but man, I tried. (I can only hope it shows) (Originally uploaded final version on Aug. 1st, 2019)

It’ll be nice to try and remake any old edits in full H.D. now that official D.V.D releases have been announced! (Sometime in a far future, but for now, I can show my edits.)

ME: “Akira Ishida, I’m onto you.” (If you don’t get the joke: Akira Ishida {Kiyoshiro’s seiyuu} voices both Kiyoshiro here, and Satoshi Hiwatari there. ~Coincidentally~ Or Not, Satoshi is also a character who is a “Genius” with experience overseas that “skipped” multiple grades in school {something which is also extremely unusual for most “normal” anime characters going by a real-world based, or at least similar, semi-“realistic” timeline of real-world events}. And then Ghost Game pulls out a scenario called “Icy Hell”... Involving the characters getting locked into a freezer-like area together....) [ And they’re both boys. ] {...which coincidentally also happens this way in D.N.Angel.} [Surely Akira Ishida doesn’t remember how that scenario turned out!] (OK, but mainly I’m just giggling over shared seiyuu roles.)

Notes regarding editing for the AMV editing itself under the ’ read more ’ !

- originally I was having trouble filling in some of the instrumental portions and basically debated leaving in the original scenes from the Kagepros version, I decided against this in the end and threw in whichever filler I could find that worked, later on, I plan to go back and time things better / possibly use some different scenes to smooth less impressive parts out!

- Koushiro originally only appeared a few times: 1) on the computer screen during "Input", 2) " a boy who hates lies ", 3) and towards the end, when Taichi confesses in ep48 - I ended up throwing in a bit more Koushiro filler to smooth it out / emphasize the Taishiro, but for once he wasn't there as much originally!

- re: a " girl " " who hates the / disappearing night " showing Taichi; this was also a part I had slight trouble with / contemplated different things for. In the original, the Kagepros boy actually has A CANONICAL FEMALE FORM who shows around this point. ( the blonde )

Taichi does ... NOT... have a canonical female form. So, I contemplated throwing in an alternative anime character that fits my view of a Female!Taichi, ( basically: if you took ponytail!Haruhi Suzumiya, that'd be Fem!Taichi. High ponytail, dark brown hair, sassy look, etc., that’d be it. )

... but in the end I also decided against this and instead more simply took from another Taishiro scene (Piemon battle scene).

May also relate to a portion of a certain Tri interview in which Taichi was canonically referred to by the Tri staff as, " THE HEROINE " ... but they also kind of didn't make that great a reference to it, so this is kind of my way of making a slight "dig" back at them for that. At the same time, I greatly appreciate Tri and the Tri staff, and know they probably didn't mean it that poorly. Don't take this "dig" too seriously, please. - MY BLOG IS TRI SUPPORTIVE. THIS ISN’T AN INVITATION FOR TRI HATE

- " Is that another lie? " / " No, I'm serious ": directly referenced the Kagepros original for this bit + made it semi-work with some panning editing!

- THE BIT WITH MUGENDRAMON TOWARDS THE END IS MY FAVORITE - IT'S SUPER IMPORTANT PLOT-WISE FOR MY ‘VERSES

[ + once upon a time, Oct. 25th, 2017, one day after my birthday. yes, I made a Taishiro Fan-soundtrack using THIS particular track as inspiration, remembered a certain other favorite series of mine had a ton of cool/actually fitting-for-the-themes/plot music, realized “ HEY I MAYBE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE AN AMV TO THAT SONG ”, and things kind of ... uh ... spiraled as I came up with too many AUs to list + EPILOGUE-ERA AUs / HEADCANONS ESPECIALLY INCLUDED ]

... And, you know, I don’t regret that I’ve worked on this 30k+ WORDS/AMVs. Even if only got a couple reviews initially, (I know, my writing is poor) [ there’s reasons for that that would be way too time-consuming to explain ] I met some amazingly kind fans via it I’ve received other nice comments since, too, honestly, after all the hard work/time I poured into those self-indulgent AMVs, I can only say to those who encouraged, supported, and chatted with me, ( me, a person with autism + severe anxiety who was terrified of posting anything with my deeper thoughts, ) those who gave it a chance, thank you so much. I’m genuinely SO HAPPY if my writing/fanworks could help ANYONE. to be honest I wrote more like 50k+ total words including extra shortfic bits but I got cold feet about posting the rest of them for now, I’m sorry... maybe someday I’ll post them to a more private/personal space where I can actually control (again) who follows me & interacts & follows my rules because ... yeah, some other people didn’t do this
