all that said. i still utterly adore platinum/generations cyrus where he was so mad about being able to be mad that hes still malding in the distortion realm and he hasn't left since. literally everything is pushing him to a redemption arc right at the very end but LIKE HELL will he ever admit that maaaaaybe the wider concept of human emotions weren't the problem and he just needs some normal ass therapy. giratina likes its new roommate though! way nicer than the other blond arceus guy who screamed at him and called him a coward :(. his skeleton is in the corner though cyrus so dont worry about tripping on it. if platinum ever gets a proper remake cyrus will be one of the villa npcs and he will literally just mope around in akaris house. someone give this man a job he has 15 phds and gifted kid burnout syndrome.

my autistic ass when i would try to explain to my non-autistic writer friends how my ocs don’t just feel like characters/plot devices/narrative tools, they feel like fully fledged people that just live inside my brain who i just have access to for some reason and the stories i write are merely a snapshot into their fully fledged personhood/lives. and that that these feelings don’t mean i’m unaware of my role/agency/responsibility as the writer who has the final say in these characters and how they are written it just means that my writing process feels very intuitive and i can only describe it as “listening” and “getting to know” these people that just live inside my brain in a way that i don’t feel like i can completely elaborate on. and because of this i would actually consider these characters “real” in their own way because the impact and influence they have had on me as a person beyond just my writing is so real and not having them would feel like i’m missing a part of myself 

#DISCLAIMER! when i say autistic i do not mean this is an exclusively autistic experience or that every autistic person will experience this #i mean that its my autism that makes me not just have my characters be my special interest but also feel so intensely about them #and why i have sometimes felt weird talking about my characters with people because i am just experiencing ocs in a different way #to them #also i think one time when i tried to explain this to someone they thought i literally meant that i felt my characters were real #and when i look back on moments like that i am like beloved you need to get yourself some autistic friends #also its 10pm and ive been up since 6am and this was a very emotionally heavy day so im about to post this and log out and we'll see how #tomorrow me feels about that #but anyways the point of this post is i did not realise this was not universal and felt kinda weird about it for a while until i realised #that it is just the autism and i was like wow this is actually very cool of me i think actually #yesterday my bf sent me song links and was like i feel like felix would listen to these #and ive been thinking about this ever since hence the post because that made me so happy bc i was like i feel like you're seeing him as a #real part of me the way i see him as a real part of me

i appreciate a quick response but it also scares the shit out of me how fast my PI responds. like FUCK!!! i wasnt prepared to deal further with this for at least a couple hours

#like when i first emailed him last summer to ask about joining his lab i expected a response within like maybe 3 days bc thats what im used #to with most academics and professionals but he literally responded in three MINUTES and i felt like shitting myself #like. when does this man sleep. bc im emailing him my draft at 10pm and get a response right away when i know hes also in the lab at the #first moment he can. i have no way of saying if he gets there earlier than 8 bc you know my ass is getting there at 9 but im pretty sure its #8 at the latest. AND he works out in the mornings. GIRL???? #hes like yeah during my phd i went to the gym at 5 was in the lab for 8 hours went home cooked dinner etc and would go to bed at midnight #so. he functioned on about 5 hours of sleep for at least 4 years and im pretty sure he still does. what fucking witchcraft is his body #chemistry doing in there. migraines are so funny in the worst way possible cus it’s just like

half your head is in a reasonable amount of pain but one corner is completely unaffected and the opposite corner (always over an eye) has been sledgehammered and icepicked into oblivion. that side of your face is literally physically bulging out of your skull. if you move you will die. light particles are now needles. breathing helps the nausea but breathing too deep makes the headache worse. you’re extremely thirsty but anything you consume will be promptly thrown up. you’re suddenly immune to all drugs. you’re also blind now, because what do you need sight for if you’re just stuck waiting for the peaceful grip of unconsciousness to finally take hold
