Okay, so it started like this: Scorpia nodded slowly as she tried to work through their daily quota, “So you want to see if you’re faster at climbing than Entrapta, but Trapta called it off?” Catra was sulking by the pillar, leaving Entrapta to explain. “Because, if she wins she’d be an egocentric asshole, and if she loses she’s going to be a major fucking sore loser!” And, upon hearing Entrapta’s reasoning, Catra, being a fucking major sore loser, looked like she was ready to pull the nearest portal lever before she smiled sweetly. “You know that game you wanted to play last week, the floor’s lava?” Begrudgingly curious, Entrapta nodded. “...yeeesss?” Already up off the floor, Catra had cheerily declared, “The floor is cishet.” This was around the time that a guard had found Glimmer and warned her the Super Pal Trio was doing something in the ballroom, effectively ruining her day.

Video game I saw in a dream. It was in this low poly style like an older video game. You play as this character I think was meant to be a lamb, or maybe a weird mix of a lamb a mouse and a rabbit, (while not really looking like any of those things) and you’re running away from a wolf. Your objective is to last as long as possible before the wolf catches and eats you.

The house you’re running in is endless and bizarrely put together like most building interiors in dreams are (like the infinite toilet dream dimension on Reddit lol) the layout of the house is pretty detailed, you can stop and hide in places like closets or bins while the wolf looks for you, you can go up and down stairs and into rooms etc.

You never actually know where the wolf is or how close it is to you until it appears in your line of sight, it makes no noise and the game gives you no way of knowing where it is, and it’s pretty unpredictable it doesnt move at a consistent pace. When the wolf catches you there’s an animation showing it eating your character

Honestly I think a lot of people who have never made a gif for tumblr don't get that it does actually take time and effort, its not just rip it from a video and post it- you have to download the video, in my case I have a video player installed that grabs continuous caps, figure out what parts you need, you have to open those in photoshop or gimp, depending on where you got photoshop you might be paying for it every month and then on top of that is actually sizing, cropping, colouring, sharpening, adding text, etc. etc. like it is something that takes time and effort for which the only real reward is creating something that makes you happy and hopefully people reblog it with a nice or funny tag, so maybe keep that in mind the next time you think gif makers are being mean or unfair for being upset about reposts. It is its own little artform that is fairly unique to this website, and that's a big aspect of why I have always loved tumblr, if all the gifmakers stopped posting things would be a lot more boring around here.
