Can you do when yn treats the house elves like their her children and the boys (ominis,sebastian, gareth,and amit) or the girls (poppy,natt,imelda, and Anne) get jealous or you can put whatever reaction!😊 please do this I'm begging 😭

A/n: I love this!! Some of them are shorter because I didn't know how to expand on their general opinion. I tried so hard to not repeat myself!

Characters: Sebastian Sallow, Ominis Gaunt, Garreth Weasley, Amit Thakkar, Poppy Sweeting, Natty Onai, Imelda Reyes, Anne Sallow

Sebastian:

Honestly, he's kind of annoyed.

Like the treatment of Elves is infuriating, sure, and he agrees with being kind obviously. But do you really have to cancel a date because Ticky the Elf wants to perform a dance for you?

And why do THEY get forehead kisses every day and he only gets them when he's sitting down? Maybe it's because he's just tall but HEY.

At first the elves are scared of him, and he hates it. He goes out of his way to show he means no harm but didn't intend to get roped into the mess.

Why do they want him to come see the room MC had them decorate in the room of requirement?

Why the hell is one asking him what MC prefers: Vanilla or Chocolate? They want to make her a cake? Okay...but he expects a piece.

Slowly he comes to love them as MC does, like a dad with a kitten.

Ominis:

My boy is...confused? But delighted.

The Gaunts had a house elf! Her name was Cinder, and she was more like a mother than Mrs. Gaunt. He always treated her with utmost respect and the way his parents treated her made him sick to his stomach.

His whole Hogwarts career he has tried to be very polite to the elves, letting them know someone cares.

And when you show him your army of elf friends, he is delighted!!

Asks them all their names and some more general questions.

One of them learned a new song or something of the like? He is listening with a patient smile on his face even though it is the worst thing he has ever heard.

They don't really understand his blindness actually. They're supporting but ask him tons of questions. I think Ominis would really like educating them about how he experiences the world as long as they aren't being patronizing.

He adores listening to you interact with the elves!!

He asks them so much advice and input on how to show Cinder he appreciates her. Like...does he give her a gift? Will this upset her? Is this too much?

Also, he remembers like everything. Tries too at least. You come into the common room late, telling him about how you were helping an Elf read a muggle book? He asks you if you've gotten to his favorite part. That particular elf tends to like the romance novels, and chapter nine is when the hero gets the girl.

In short, he loves the elves almost as much as you do!

Garreth:

He's so dumb. I love him.

Coming from a poorer family, Garreth had never seen a house elf until Hogwarts. They were strange creatures.

And then you have a whole crew?? Okay, but he wasn't expecting it.

He...he has trouble seeing them as sentient beings. I hate to say it, but he does! Of course, he respects all they do for the castle, but at first, he doesn't understand why you like them so much. He treats them not unlike a pet.

You tell them to be polite and introduce themselves, and he is so weirded out by each one introducing themselves and shaking his hand.

They pick up on his hesitation and come to you with their worries and after a lecture from you, Garreth is ready to try again. Reluctantly, but he is.

Is it possible to embarrass yourself in front of a house elf? If it is, Garreth does it. He's so scared of saying or doing something wrong that he ends up embarrassing the hell out of himself.

He grows to see them as they are: intelligent and sentient creatures that have a lot to offer. After a while he is comfortable enough to give them high fives in the hallway, or gift them things (mostly prank items, and then he has to teach them it is meant to be funny and not an attack-)

Amit:

He honestly has learned not to think twice about anything when it comes to you.

So, when you ask him to meet you in the room of requirement and you're surrounded by elves? A little strange, but it doesn't deter him from asking if you got all the notes down for DADA.

The elves scatter when he speaks, running to look like they are working. It surprises him, and even more so when you hush him as you coax them all out.

They do NOT like him at first because he comes at inconvenient times and how are they supposed to prepare you hot chocolate before bed when you're off looking at star charts??

And meanwhile poor Amit is working hard to get their seal of approval because anything you like he does too. It's very important to him!

Well one day they mention that they like the Gramaphone and the pretty music but the Gramaphone isn't working as of late. It gives you an idea, and now Amit is standing in front of a mini crowd playing his little violin heart out.

The elves kinda overwhelm him with how many there are and how needy they are to you, but it amazes him how you are so patient with them.

If there is a house elf language, he is learning it. Both to impress you and try to win over your little army.

Basically, he is slightly intimidated by the elves, but he loves you so he tries his best to get along with them. He definitely is no longer taking the food at dinner for granted, that's for sure.

Poppy:

She's so sweet.

At first, worries that the elves might have malicious intent because of how often they were pulling you away. But quickly she realized it wasn't the case.

The elves already adore her as she has always been incredibly sweet to them. Plus, in third year she saved a baby house elf which sparked her interest in them as more than servants.

She's more like their friend than parent, though, she thinks it's incredibly sweet how loving you are towards them.

Gets them ALL christmas presents. every single one. Doesn't tell you about it and holds you when you're overwhelmed by the kindness!

They will all follow her around, and she responds to every one of their jokes and makes sure she never leaves them out of conversation.

Makes funny faces at them from across the hall just like she would any other friend and it makes them feel welcomed.

After late nights in the vivarium, Poppy is dragging you to the kitchens. Even though you don't have to be dragged there. You two sit on the counter and recount your adventures to the elves while they busy themselves making you a snack. If there are dishes to be done she offers to help even if they decline.

Natty:

Always up for some adventure! Finds the elves fascinating honestly.

"Theoretically, if a master gives you a sock to wash, are you free? Can you choose your own clothes? Wait, if you can, are you allowed to shop for them? That would be so-" "Natty..." "Right, sorry."

She treats them like she would treat anybody else tbh. In her home country, she never had house elves and the concept of having someone thanklessly serving you makes her sick. So, she does her best to show her appreciation.

However, the elves will NOT take time she wants to spend with you away. They want to talk to you? Fine, but Natty is there too.

Tells you later how cute you are when you're interacting with something you love.

She gets the elves to help make you a GIANT Christmas present.

She and the elves see each other as equals and are friends!

Imelda:

Another jealous one. Omg.

Sure, elves are mistreated. It's wrong. But maybe they deserve to be kicked around a little when they KEEP YOU FROM QUIDDITCH PRACTICE!

Would never harm the elves or speak harm about them, but they have come to recognize her glare meaning "Hey, it's MY turn with my partner."

One elf in particular is pretty snippy and Imelda gets into fights with him almost every time they see each other.

Oh, the elves know to keep your broom in pristine condition. It seems to make you happy that it never needs work, and they have an agreement with Imelda. A polished, clean, and ready broom for your nightly rides means another hour where she doesn't come in and bother them.

She is NOT above coming into the kitchens just to annoy the house elves. They unfortunately know this.

Imelda would never ever see the house elves as anything less than what they are, but she doesn't hesitate to use her advantages.

She taught a group of the younger elves to swear. You still haven't quite forgiven her for it.

Anne:

I love Anne sm :)

Your relationship with the elves...doesn't surprise her in the slightest.

She doesn't understand, as Elves aren't anything special in her eyes. They're sentient creatures that have feelings and thoughts, just like humans do. Why would she treat them differently than anyone else?

The elves are very sweet, but c'mon. She was going to teach you to garden Hemlock without poisoning yourself!

Honestly, she doesn't mind that you baby them, but she definitely has sat you down and explained they don't need babied.

Admires you and how you treat them! Just doesn't understand it, that's all.

Hello, sorry to bother you, but I've had a little brainrot idea for hogwarts legacy for a hot minute, but I don't have the time to sit down and write it. The idea is that mc has a baby or toddler little sibling (male or female), and since they're both orphans, mc has to raise their siblings while in hogwarts and dealing with all the events of the game. And then the absolutely shocked faces and storylines of the people around them seeing mc beat goblins with a baby strapped to their back. Sorry if it's unrealistic, but I had to raise my neice and nephew practically by myself at 15 so I would love to see it happen in game.

Hi, what an interesting concept! I decided to do this Reactions style as it seemed it would be easier to fit in all the characters I could think of – hope you like it!

Sebastian Sallow: It was certainly a shock to see the new student march through the Great Hall later than everyone else, the rumours already circling about their arrival. Even more surprising was the fact that this fifth-year had a… a baby of all things strapped to their back! Was it theirs? Were they a teenage parent? Was it a cousin, a sibling, or some waif they��d picked up along the way?

Sebastian learns quickly enough the new student’s baby is in fact their sibling, and is always with them. Even in class. And when Professor Hecat suggests they duel, MC doesn’t even think about unstrapping the infant from their shoulders, despite Hecat’s protestations. He’d go easy on them, for the sake of the baby.

That was his mistake. MC proved to be a formidable opponent, kicking his arse seven ways to Sunday without even breaking a sweat as the baby watched curiously from over their shoulder and the rest of the class cheered them on. And as the weeks and months went by, the baby joined them in their adventures, merely shrieking with glee as MC dived and rolled out of the way of goblin attacks and clapping their hands as MC torched inferi, as if it was all some sort of game. Sebastian made sure to be extra careful in protecting MC, for the baby’s sake. Just the baby. Of course it was. It had nothing to do with the fact he admired MC more than perhaps even his own parents.

Ominis Gaunt: Ominis has never liked children, especially babies. They’re noisy, smelly, sticky, and he’s convinced if he holds one, it’ll throw up on him. It takes him a moment or ten to warm up to MC and even longer to warm up to MC’s baby, especially when he catches both of them coming out of the Undercroft, smelling like Confringo. Even so, he reins in his temper as he scolds MC, not wanting to upset the baby and cause a ruckus at this time of night. He can’t help but be concerned for the little one as MC accepts their tongue-lashing with humility and skulks away. Casting Confringo around a child surely isn’t a good idea.

His concern grows when he’s foraging for ingredients along the edge of the Forbidden Forest one day and hears MC and the baby go into the Forest itself, whistling happily as the baby burbles on their shoulders. He follows, wondering if they know how dangerous it is and planning to keep them safe from a distance when a spider attacks. MC dispatches it with ease before he can even aim his wand. He rushes over, intending to scold them again, only to find MC nonchalantly passing the baby a severed spider leg to play with. The baby promptly hits Ominis about the head with it and screams with laughter.

He smiles, and begins to spend more time with the toughest pair of people he thinks he’s ever met.

Garreth Weasley – Potions class is where he has the most fun, even though his experiments tend to cause fires, explosions, extra limbs and the occasional change of hair colour, all of which result in detention. That was until MC showed up to class with their sibling in tow, the little mite grasping handfuls of their hair as they brewed their potions. Damn it all, he’d really wanted to try adding doxy eggs to his brew to see what happened. He couldn’t do that with a baby in the classroom. He didn’t mind singeing his fellow students, that was the risk they all took as wizards and witches around such volatile concoctions, and if he was going to be the best potioneer the world had ever seen, well…

But he couldn’t risk hurting a baby. He loved babies. They were cute and fat with pudgy tummies and made adorable little faces with their great big eyes and drooling mouths, fascinated by everything around them.

So Garreth started behaving. He saved his experiments for outside the classroom, and though it occasionally still landed him in detention, it certainly granted him more free time, and he began to appreciate the finer rules of potion-making, leading his experiments to become more successful as time went by. He changed his cauldron station to one next to MC once Sharp determined he wouldn’t be a health hazard, and got to know them both a little better. He was stunned by all MC had been through, raising such a precious little bean all by themselves. Every time they shared a class, he had a cake or two to share, a bit of homework he’d already written for them, offering to go to Hogsmeade on their behalf to get anything they needed. Maybe one day, if MC was willing, he could be another parental figure in this cute little thing’s life. He’d always wanted a big, happy family.

Leander Prewett – There’s not much Leander really understands, though he tries very hard to pretend otherwise. One of the big things he just doesn’t get are babies. He’s never been around them, and after noticing MC has their baby with them all the time, he’s not overly keen on getting too involved and doing or saying something stupid that would make him look like an idiot.

But one day, the baby has been grizzling all day long, with MC walking them up and down all through the castle, trying to settle them, but the baby’s just not having it. He spots them coming out of the main doors to where he’s trying to get a little flying practice in, and they seem to be making a beeline for him. Merlin, if there was ever a time for someone to grace him with flight skills, it was now. He attempts to kick off from the ground and merely ends up turning head over heels four or five times before tumbling to the ground with a yelp.

Wincing, he looks up, expecting people to be laughing at him. Someone certainly is, the high-pitched, free laughter soaring over their heads. Glowering a little, he stands up and tries to preserve a little of his dignity, turning to see MC beside him, bouncing the baby in their arms. The baby is no longer grizzling, but is laughing helplessly, waving its fat little fists in glee.

MC thanks him earnestly for making her little sibling laugh, and offers to buy him a butterbeer for his trouble. On the way, Leander makes sure whenever the little one looks like it might start crying to take a pratfall or walk into a low-hanging tree branch, grinning as each time makes the baby scream with laughter.

As they talk, he learns about all MC has gone through, and his admiration for them goes through the roof. He makes sure to seek them out daily to fall down the stairs or do a silly dance to get the baby laughing. It makes MC laugh too, and he loves the way they smile when he does it.

Amit Thakkar – Amit steals up to the astronomy tower one evening to get in an extra few hours of stargazing, hoping his diligence to the subject will ingratiate him with the notoriously cold Professor Shah. But when he gets there, he sees MC leaning on the railing, dandling their sibling on their hip, pointing up at the celestial heavens and murmuring some twee nonsense about the twinkly dots. He goes quietly to his telescope, trying not to disturb them, when he overhears MC talk about the stars being the souls of those departed, and how ‘mummy and daddy are up there.’

It just about breaks his heart. He’d read about tragedy, of course, it was a staple in many of his adventure books, but learning that one of his fellow students had suffered something that made him cry when he read about made-up people enduring it, well. He leaves his telescope and moves over, leaning on the railing as well and speaking in a soft voice about the cosmos, pointing out the stars and naming them until MC lays a hand on his arm.

The baby has gone to sleep, soothed by his voice. MC thanks him, telling him the baby has been having trouble sleeping since their parents died, they both have, in fact. The baby stirs, and Amit pulls out one of his favourite books and a blanket, wrapping them both up in it and settling down nearby, reading to them both until they fall asleep.

It becomes a regular thing, and Amit smiles every time he looks up from the pages to see them cuddled up together, holding each other and sound asleep. It's nice to feel useful, and he appreciates being able to do some small thing for them when they’ve already been through so much.

Natsai Onai – While initially anxious about asking for MC’s help in dealing with Rookwood and Harlow, Natsai soon learns how capable MC is from her fellow students. When they go to rescue Highwing, Natsai almost begs her to leave their sibling in the castle, but MC refuses. Not only does the baby seem to understand the danger they are in and keeps quiet, but it seems to actually enjoy it when MC Depulso’s an arrogant Ashwinder off the edge of a tower, chuckling heartily. The baby shrieks with joy as they fly on their rescued Hippogriffs, waving their hands in the air as MC and Natsai whoop and cheer. The baby really feels like a member of the team, even though it didn’t actually do anything, sort of like a mascot.

Natsai’s fears for the baby decrease with every adventure and MC proves time and time again they’re not just a hell of a warrior, but a damn good parental figure too. She delights in the quieter moments they share, often begging MC to let her look after the baby to give MC a much deserved break. Though initially reluctant, MC agrees for a few hours one evening, saying they needs to speak with Sebastian and Ominis. They return, looking a little tired and somewhat stressed (can she blame them after hanging out with a Gaunt?), and happily takes the little one back, thanking Natsai for her help. She lets Natty look after the little one more often, and Natsai teaches them both some nursery rhymes from Matabeleland.

Poppy Sweeting – To Poppy, MC having a baby is no skin off her nose. It's almost like having a pet that’s going to be able to talk one day and clean up its own poop. Bonus! But right now, like all baby beasts, this one is adorable and she takes every moment she can to spend time with MC and their sibling, fussing over them both and insisting she cuts up their dinner for them, even if they’re in different houses.

When Poppy asks MC for help with the poachers, it’s not a decision she’s made lightly. She knows how vulnerable babies are, even baby dragons, and to bring a baby into a poacher den could signal trouble for everyone. MC insists on their sibling coming with them, and Poppy needs the help. Poppy soon learns she didn’t need to worry, watching MC absolutely decimate the poachers without breaking a sweat, the baby on her shoulders waving their own little hand as if they were casting spells as well, going ‘wheeeeeeee’ when MC rolls out of the way of a hex, and burbling happily when the dragoness stares them down.

Poppy makes a point to introduce MC and the little one to some safer beasts, enjoying a cup of tea with MC as they watch the baby roll around with the Poffle of Puffskeins Professor Howin has in the pens by the Beasts classroom. She makes a point to join Natsai when babysitting.

Professor Sharp – While initially concerned about there being a baby in his class (with Garreth, FFS) he soon learns MC is more than capable of being a responsible carer, and his admiration for them grows as he watches them soldier on with classwork, homework, babywork and, if the rumours are to be believed, their rather dangerous extra-curriculars. He makes sure to slip some Soothing Solution into MC’s bag for those difficult nights, and lets the baby chew on his auror badge the few times MC lands detention with him. He won’t give them any leeway to be a cheeky little shit in his classes, baby or no. Besides, it’s nice to watch them grow up.

Professor Garlick – She’s alarmed when MC marches into her class, baby in tow, worried the baby will be eaten by a venomous tentacula or Chinese chomping cabbage, but her concern vanishes when MC proves to have the awareness of five highly-caffeinated people, keeping the baby safe during her classes. She offers to help where she can, and MC gratefully accepts dummies with essence of dittany on them to soothe the baby’s teething.

Professor Black – Most people are convinced he doesn’t even know what a baby is, despite the fact he’s got five children. He’s aloof most of the time, barely paying anyone any attention, least of all MC and the baby. But after a particularly trying day when the baby just wouldn’t settle, MC watches with apprehension as Black strides towards them, scowling. Expecting a scolding (and a detention for the attitude they prepare to give back in return) MC is surprised when Black holds out a tiny plush doll in the shape of a kneazle without a word, then stalks off like he didn’t just give their sibling a teddy.

Professor Fig – Having seen all MC can do, even with a baby on their back at all times, he can’t help but admire them, though he desperately wishes they didn’t have to do so much alone. As such, he takes on the role of not just mentor, but father and grandfather figure to the pair. When things get too tough, he happily encourages MC to take a nap in his office, rocking the baby to sleep as MC snoozes on the sofa, cooking for the three of them and making sure to help MC with their homework. Towards the middle of the year, MC bursts into his office, holding the little one aloft.

“Say it again, baby!” MC cries.

The baby grins, chewing its own pudgy fist. Around a mouthful of their own hand, they speak their first word.

“Fig,” they say.

It’s the proudest moment of his life.

Have we been overlooking the Key to Snake's survival

Spoilers for Recent Chapters of Kuroshitsuji.

So for those who have been reading, I hope this makes sense as I think it's an important factor in this arc. While I know everyone is wondering what is going to happen to Snake, I've noticed that there isn't much discussion about a few players that usually show up when someone dies and the rules the manga has for telegraphing a death.

(I should note that this tends to pertain to important characters usually, and not one offs like Mina and her husband, as I don't recall seeing a Grim Reaper in that arc at all.

During the first arc of Black Butler we met Grelle, who was hanging out with Madam Red. As noted, she was dressed as a normal human butler rather than her usual amazing self.

It wasn't long after that we got her true reveal and Aunt Anne wasn't with us.

We then get the Reapers showing up, namely William, in the circus arc early on as Specs (If I recall correctly).

William hangs around as a hint that death will be coming since he practically tells Sebastian this. Thus we see him reviewing Joker's records at the top of the burning mansion. Signaling that he's collecting the other members as well at some point or did so already. (Since Reapers can be just about anywhere.)

During the Murder arc, we don't have any reaper (sans the former one in the form of Undertaker at the end) and since we know Sebastian is a demon, we can safely assume that the normal mortal way of killing him is out. So no reapers, no deaths for important or known characters.

In the Campania arc (Luxury Liner arc) Ronald runs up and we get him saying hello with his outfit given we're shown his eyes and his suit.

So, again, we know for sure that someone is going to die, or at least there's going to be deaths happening. We also get Grelle back, and Will at the end, it's important to note that the trio do play a big role in giving us lore in this case along with collecting the souls of the dead, more importantly one of the bigger players in the arc, Ryan Stoker. (As with Baron Kelvin, both men have ties to Ciel through their connections. Stoker via Undertaker, and Kelvin to his past within their circles.)

In the Public School arc (Weston) we don't have a reaper at all, (other than Undertaker) and, once again, no death of players occur (as with Mina, and the Banker, the Queen's nephew is a lesser character). So we see the pattern continuing.

Emerald witch sees William and Grelle in Germany with our two German Reapers (Ruger and Sasha), and we have the deaths of several important villains.

Following this we have the Blue Cult, and yet again, no Reaper to be found in the music hall aspect of the Arc. But Grelle and Othello show up following this portion of the arc, and what does Grelle say to Sebastian and Ciel when they meet after finding the dead nobles. She'll see them again soon.

Not long after, Agni dies.

There is no Reaper during the time Ciel is on the run and by Lau's, and there is none during Mei-Rin and Ran-Mao's arc. It's only when we get to Baldroy's arc that we get Ronald once again.

And that leaves us with a twist that Sebastian saves Baldroy's life, along with Lau giving him his blood to save him. Ronald and will then confine Layla/Al, and we're left to wonder what this means in regard to the other arcs.

What have we learned so far, that nearly every time a Reaper shows up some form of death happens. That when a death may occur for an important character a Reaper will show up. So far this has not been broken, save Baldroy's story.

Most are thinking, we'll she's going to twist it. Snake will die because even though we don't see a reaper, that's a really bad cut, and we're getting a flashback.

However I propose that Snake has more of a part to play in this story. He mentions that he and the snakes are from an unknown, far away place. We also have hints of him being in an orphanage. We know from Finny that there were children being experimented upon, and part of the whole arc seems to be showing how similar Snake and Finny are. So I don't believe he's going to die, and I suspect the reason why is due to how influenced this is by Promised Neverland.

In the story there is a character known as Sister Krone, who helps the children out, but for selfish reasons.

In the end, while she does somewhat help the children, she pretty much betrays them for her own safety, though it does her little good in the end.

However, I want to present a character that I think is a call back to Sister Krone, and she has no name as of yet for some reason.

Our Maid on the Right Lower corner has no name, yet is shown to be someone who plays a part in things. She's always around so we see her a lot even though, unlike Susan or (was it Jamie?) the other younger maid, she has no name. Why is that? Why be so prominent yet not have a name? It's an odd thing, and normally a character like her would have some name at this point, why is hers being kept secret it seems.

She's also been shown to be the most nervous about everything. Even in her first appearance she's being shown to be quiet and later when Doll insists, she has a more worried look about things.

She's the one that dropped the plate, and thus again given prominence above the other characters, and, to be blunt, she's one of the few POC characters shown in this place, and I think the only maid here.

What's got my suspicions up is that People keep saying "There's no Ada to save Snake" and yet, we see three maids go down to the lab. Three of them, meaning that all three know how that stuff works.

Susan, the one in the front, Jamie (the girl with the curly hair) and our last unknown maid, who, unlike the other two -who are all business, is looking upset, nervous, and other unknown emotions. She's clearly not a fan of this, and doesn't like this at all, as shown in their entry in Chapter 203.

Come Chapter 204 we get these two exchanges with her.

She questions things, and note her stance. While the other two are, again, all business like, she looks honestly unhappy and uneasy.

Body language reads as:

Upturned brows = can indicate anxiety or worry.

Down turned eyes = indicate feeling uncertain or Guilty.

Hands in the folded position = can indicate being less confident, unsure, insecure, and nervous.

All together it shows that this maid is questioning her role in this, and, as we see with her questions, her slight hesitation, it's clear that she's not sure about what they're doing, and, more than likely, feeling guilty over it.

We see the same reaction from her again when the other maid gives her the dress Ginny was wearing when she was fledged. So it becomes blatantly obvious that we're supposed to pay attention to this woman who is feeling guilty.

We don't see her leaving but we have to assume that she did due to the fact that she's not there during the confrontation.

Which brings us to the big point of who they're hearing.

The kids and Finny are running away from the sounds, but, more than likely the one that's going to run into them is going to be this maid.

So why do I think it's likely going to be this maid that the kids and Finny are hearing.

We Don't see her leaving, but we know she was there with Susan and the other dead maid.

We can assume since she went down with them that she knew about the tunnel and what was going on with Doll, since Susan mentioned bringing out the Radiance in front of her.

Since neither women came back, she's the most likely to go down to see what is going on.

Given that she knows what they are doing she knows how to work the machines, and would have to know how to help. It's also clear from earlier that she was close enough to Susan to go with her down to the area where they kept the children.

Which brings us back to the situation in promised Neverland. In the story Kone gave information to the children, but as I said, betrayed them. If Yana-sensei is using the idea, given all the implications with the story there's something there, from the early arc (Jailbreak I think?) of PN, then it's possible that, unlike the original story, this maid will actually help Snake and the kids.

Given her reactions and her expressions, she's harboring guilt. Finny wanted to stay and help but had to leave. More than likely it's not beyond belief that this maid will run into them on their way out, and, probably use Finnian's blood, or one of the kids blood to save Snake.

Now why would she do that over taking the kids away?

Simplest answer, Finny asks her too and her desire to save a life, over taking one, would probably lead her to do the right thing in this case.

Why Finny's blood?

According to Celtic Legends Finnian, the mythic character, was given the gift of healing from the salmon of Knowledge. When he gathered water into his hands, and one drank from this the person will be healed.

We know that Finny is an experiment, and, given that the scientist shot his siblings/fellow experiments in the head rather than the chest or other body parts to kill them, indicated that the experiments healed. We also see this in the fight with Jumbo that Finny survives Jumbo's hit, and it's good by the next day.

So my theory is that the maid will meet the kids, give aid to Snake, and then likely take the kids away.

To be honest, The one I think has the death mark on him is either Tanaka, or Real Ciel again. Yana did state that Ciel will not make it to his 14th birthday. But O!Ciel is NOT Ciel, and never was. So the Ciel she's probably talking about is R!Ciel.

I know this isn't perfect, but it seems the most likely over Snake being turned into a Bizarre Doll, or outright dying.

The other option is that there are some snakes that can heal their own wounds, or he could shed his skin and heal himself that way.

thinkign about character conflict... rowan & seb getting into fights HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! rowan is totally the type of person to put things off for later where he's like "oh i have alot of time to do this don't worry about it!!!" then keeps putting it off until it becomes a Real Issue. sebastian is the type of person who Gets Shit Done Quick (very good with meeting deadlines esp due to his freelance programming job).

when seb is dissatisfied with something he's very blunt & to the point about it, whereas rowan is the type to think more with his right brain, react emotionally, then think about the issue later & regret the things he said/did n feel immense guilt over it. seb resorts to avoidance and doesn't think about something if he thinks it's going to make him feel shitty. basically rowan automatically takes things to heart rather than approaching smth level-headedly or logically which either leads to emotional outbursts or kicking himself Way more than he needs to. sebastian is very blunt without thinking what he says can hurt people (partially because he expects everyone to understand how he thinks even though he doesn't communicate properly 💀) and resorts to passive-aggression, vaguing, & avoidance. when it comes to sorting out messy feelings or talking things out he is Incredibly bad at confrontation HAHA

it's interesting how they contrast bc rowan is more emotionally aware/mature than seb is, but seb is more rational/pragmatic than rowan is. they're not perfect in those fields tho they r Suuuuper flawed LOL just more capable in one field than the other. they balance each other out tho <3 when rowan apologizes for smth he did he tends to be like a guilty puppy except he's a big dog so just picture like. a german shepherd hanging its head down low. and seb quietly goes like No... i'm sorry too. and all is well in the world. they're all smiley and somewhere out there abigail gags. hooray!!!!

I know I read somewhere that you're definitely not creating an OC for Sebastian in your Volo/MC & Rominis world. I was curious if Sebastian is a jealous whiney fuck over their relationships or if he's just genuinely happy for them? Or does he feel jealousy over it but then feels majorly guilty about it because he feels that's being a bad friend to MC and Ominis. Or is he just an unfeeling cunt? I can see him being any of these honestly so I was curious what your thoughts are.

OK, so, Lemme explain first of all why I'm not creating an OC for Seb, I know you didn't ask that, but I feel like, in general, it needs to be said. I personally have noticed there's people in the fandom that don't like OCs being with the characters, because when people read fanfiction, they tend to like "MC" or "Y/N" because they can self insert, but when it's OCs you take that ability away from them, and people do NOT like that, because some people are fuckin crazy and can't cope with the idea that their fictional boyfriend is being written with someone's OC and not "them"(MC/YN) MOST people from my experience are fine with it though, but like, I get petty weird shit for Rominis sometimes 🤣 and with Sebastian statistically being the number 1 favourite in the franchise, I cannot be bothered going through the double hit tbh haha.

Now, to your ask haha.

It would give me the ick to make him all sad or jealous over the fact he's not in a relationship while MC and Ominis are thriving in their own at THIS point in the development of my VoloRomiverse 🤣

Cuthbert Beckett Vampirethemasquerade... I can't say i have many thoughts, i haven't read the books etc but I have a peripheral understanding of what goes on, and he's a fun character!

Loved him in the game, found it very fun to find out he Does So Much More in the books ie. fucking nasty, being an ethically challenged historian, and having horny beef with THE ANGEL OF CAINE. And he's so snarky, his line '... Sebastian, was it?' made me laugh, and it was fun to have him as a source of Kindred lore ingame as the dialogue he presents it with also gives Beckett a lot of character, instead of solely being the info-dump exposition NPC. He's probably had to deal with So Much Shit from high ranking kindred in different domains, it's like a reward when he gets to be a bitch towards them <3

Also, augh, I LOVE his design! It's so cool! Luminant orange eyes with pricked pupils shining from behind a pair of sunglasses? Long flowing hair? CLAWS? Can turn into a wolf? Serving biblically accurate vampiric cunt

Him being a general menace was also v fun in the game, because he's there for the 'odd goings on' in LA, and then later for the mystery surrounding the sarcophagus; he won't waste time with pleasantries/bootlicking the Domain's Prince/Regent/Baron/Bishop because him as an Autarkis really doesn't care. He's here for the potential historical artefact and the chance to find further insight into the origins of Kindred, and it's not in his character to entertain some Kindred two-hundred years his junior trying to throw around weight they don't have.

Reckon he has a huge pain tolerance + general endurance, apparently he's run the length of a football stadium in sunlight and I'd believe that. That coupled with his Gangrel feral marks makes for this really interesting contrast between his appearance + physical capabilities and his academic pursuits and passions, usually with this kind of character they don't tend to be a full indiana jones-type; he pulls it off v well! Wonder if this also has an in-universe basis as well, as other Kindred may excpect Beckett to be of the more 'academic' or esteemed clans that'd pursue what he does - I know some thought him Malkavian because of his adoptive sire and general mannerisms but hey, who knows, lmao

I can see him plummeting into the Depths of obsession when it comes to things like Kindred history and artefacts etc., there's a cloying pull to both finding out that which has been forgotten or lost (and perhaps should've stayed that way), as well as getting the chance to say He was the one who discovered it. That can come at the cost of friendships, his health, things like that, though. Beckett does have a fair bit of clout and/or infamy in some Kindred circles thanks to his exploits, what with the line 'my reputation, for once, doesn't precede me.' He's used to being known, used to being as much spectacle as his quests themselves.

As a last general thought, I can see Beckett being quite vain in his own way - maintaining hair like his, aesthetics like his, makes it feel that he does put thought and time into how he comes across, both as a personal reason and tactical in order to best do his job and keep up appearances as THE Beckett, Noddist and Archaeologist

When Noah Sebastian met Nori Nurmi for the first time, he knew he wanted her more than anything. She was beautiful like an angel and dangerous like the devil.

Even though it's not the most comfortable place in the world, her bunk is making Nori feel safe as she can hide behind the curtain that guarantees her privacy inside the tour bus. She grabs her favorite pillow and holds it tight - the one that she got from a fan as a birthday gift a few years ago -, trying to feel any kind of comfort like she could get from a hug. Of course it's not the same thing, but at least helps her to release the tension she is feeling. Why is she feeling so messed up because of a stupid tattooed singer who likes to play videogames and watch anime? For God's sake, Nori never felt so pathetic in her entire life. Not even when she was just a teenager and had a crush on a guy from school who was obsessed with aliens and conspiracy theories. She's a total control freak and she knows that she was about to lose herself a few minutes ago while Noah was holding her by her arm and getting so close to her that her heart was racing inside her chest. Losing control it's never an option!

The truth is that Nori doesn't tend to flirt with rockstars. She has known a lot of them and she knows how they are: selfish, always looking for a pussy and nothing more, loves to feel like they are in command. As a woman in this business full of men, she had to learn how to deal with them and she will never show any feeling that might seem that she wants something more than friendship. Yes she's always nice with everyone, always smiling and open for conversations but once a man tries to cross the line everything changes and she shows nothing but rage. Noah did try to cross the line but for a brief moment she wanted him to do that. And then, she reminded herself that she needs to stay focused on her job and not fuck things up. This tour it's very important for her, there's a lot of things to be concerned about and being involved with Noah Sebastian could put everything at risk. What if he is a total asshole? What if they fight? She has been there before. Nori isn't a person that runs away from fighting when there's something serious going on. Even though she is always trying her best to maintain a good vibe between everyone, once someone does something really wrong she loses her mind. She just can't and won't let anyone hurt her feelings anymore.

Also, time and a lot of disappointment made Nori hide herself from all kinds of flirting and love interests that might appear on her way. She was hurt too many times before and she doesn't have the strength to heal anymore - at least that's what she thinks. She doesn't see how strong she can be. It could be something totally sexual with no feelings attached but she knows that she can't control her heart so she doesn't want to deal with anything she can't control.

Her mind keeps remembering the scene that she witnessed earlier at the bar while she leans her head on the wall. How Lara was touching Noah's hair, getting closer to him and making him laugh… It's driving her insane! Nori knows that being easily jealous it's part of her nature just like the good scorpio she is. She wishes that she could be the one to touch him, to feel his locks sliding through her fingers. Deep inside she knows that the guy is messing with her real bad, she just doesn't want to admit it.

All these years that Forever Damned is on the road, everyone is always trying to convince Nori to let herself enjoy life and live some adventures, to be wilder and not too afraid of the consequences. Each girl in the band has certain habits when it comes to flirting and dating. Her sister Mirva has a boyfriend, a very nice guy who truly loves her and she loves him back so she is totally faithful to him. Auri it's hard to impress and she has an unfinished situation with an older guy in Finland - he's definitely her boy toy. But, if someone is weird enough to catch her attention she will give it a try. Maila and Lara are the wild ones. They like to hook up with hot dudes they might meet on the road, especially Lara. She doesn't need to strive to find someone, there are always hundreds of mens waiting to have a chance with her. Nori's habits are staying away from man and distractions, keeping herself inside her bubble and focusing on giving her best to her fans, always. Sometimes, she's envious about how Lara can be so bold and not afraid to seek for her physical pleasure. She wishes she could be more like her friend. Maybe, if she had a little bit of "Lara boldness" inside of her, she could let Noah get closer to her. Maybe, she could do what her body craves for her to do.

The truth is that Noah Sebastian is a hot guy, there's no doubt about that. Seeing him in person, and being physically close to the singer makes anyone easily fall for him. But he's not the type of guy that Nori tends to like. Jolly would definitely be the one who she would pay attention to in the first place and of course she finds him handsome, too. Actually, Bad Omens is made of beautiful mens, each one in its own way.

When Nori saw Noah for the first time in person, she made the huge mistake of looking him in the eye. That was enough to rock her entire world. She is used to guys with blue eyes in her homeland so staring at his darker gaze was what woken up something inside of her. The way he can shift between puppy eyes and totally mischievous look makes all the butterflies, moths, dragon-flies and all the other flying insects in her stomach fly around like a huge kaleidoscope or something like that. And the similarities between them are big, maybe because they are both scorpios but it's a fact that they have some things in common: they are both extremely perfectionists and could give their lives for their careers. When they love something, they truly do with all their hearts and souls, and this also applies to hate - it's 0 or 100%, there's nothing in the middle.

Another night, another show. Bad Omens is on stage and Nori decides to watch. Actually, she can't take him from her mind and couldn't resist the temptation of watching him wearing his sexy ski mask. Will she end up burning in the flames of hell? Staring at Noah's eyes makes her feel like he could take her to paradise with him.

He can't help but smirk when he notices that the show it's almost over and Nori is still there. His eyes wandered to her so many times tonight that he hopes no one noticed. Knowing that she was watching him made Noah feel like the fucking king he sings about.

While the band finishes the last song, Nori takes off in a hurry. She needs to be in her safe place, away from Noah's presence for a while so she can put her thoughts in order but damn! How hard it is. It's like her mind is sabotaging her. The way he looked on stage tonight was a turn on for her, she doesn't know how she holded on during the whole show but she can feel that her underwear is definitely wet.

She looks for a pair of shorts so she can change from her stage outfit but step noises freak the shit out of her. Her eyes capture Noah walking towards her, his face red and hair wet from the sweat as he just left the stage and came immediately after Nori.

"Stalking me again?" She says, trying to keep focused on her bag full of clothes.

"I came in peace. I wanted to apologize for my behavior yesterday".

Finally, Noah gets her attention. Maybe, an apology means that he quit her.

"And you couldn't wait? You had to leave the stage and come after me straight away?".

"Yes. I saw you there watching the whole show and I couldn't stop thinking about it".

"If I forgive you, will you leave me alone?".

Nori knows that she is lying when she says she wants him to leave her alone and so does Noah. She doesn't want him away from her, she wishes things could be easier and Noah could be a total stranger that she would never see again so she could quench her thirst for him without worries.

"I can't promise" he answers, getting closer to her.

"So it's a no, then. You have to earn it".

"Why? Why do you keep torturing yourself like that?".

Nori keeps messing with her clothes, trying to find something like she is still remembering what she was doing before Noah entered the bus. Everything now is a huge pile of fabric on the tiny couch. Noah intervenes and holds her hand as he tries to stop her from making a bigger mess.

"I see it in your eyes that you want me as much as I want you" his voice is velvety and shivering.

"You're dangerous, Noah Sebastian".

"And so are you, Nori Nurmi".

Even though Nori says no, her body shows the contrary. Noah is still touching her hands and playing with her fingers while her eyes follow his moves. Soon, his fingers run through her arm while he is positioned behind her, his nose almost touching her head as he smells the scent of her shampoo - definitely smelling like some exotic oil, she must spend a lot of money to keep her hair so soft and healthy. She closes her eyes, letting herself feel his touch on her shivered skin. When he reaches her neck, she quickly turns around so he stops his moves, which is not a good idea because now there's the mischievous look on his face again, his eyes capturing all the details on her skin like the little freckles on her nose and how the color tone of her green eyes changes with the light of the bus. A perfect black eyeliner drawn around her eyes with some glitter on it, long black lashes framing them. The red lipstick on her lip it's almost fading. She looks like a perfect Finnish goddess, so perfect that makes Noah's heart hurt.

"You're melting under my touch" he says, a smirk on his face.

"No, I'm not" her voice is weak, her whole body losing its strength.

"I bet you're soaking wet down there".

Noah's moves are so fast that Nori can't even think straight. He grabs her and puts her on the small kitchen counter, spreading her legs so he can fit between them. She watches him leave with a heavy weight inside her chest, feeling the tears finally going down on her face. Why is she even crying? She feels so stupid that she desperately searches for a bottle of wine or anything that will help to mask her suffering. Nori wishes that she could leave this tour and go home, going back to her normal life near her family where she can find the comfort she needs. Maybe, if she focuses 100% on her work, she will be able to end this tour without going insane. There's still some demos and lyrics that she needs to work on for the next album and that's going to be her escape for the next few weeks. She just hopes that Noah has understood her side and will keep his word.

Do you have any good wlw romance recs? Like explicit?

I do, but I will say--one thing I've noticed about f/f romance is that they are often less explicit than m/f and m/m. And I do tend to wonder why that is. There's of course the issue that f/f is less common in general than m/m and m/f, but.................... I also think there's a fear of being accused of sexualizing sapphic relationships. Which, totally get; but sometimes you want to read a hot sapphic book, I don't know what to tell ya.

Anyway, I would recommend checking out:

A Long Time Dead by Samara Breger. Not out until 5/16, but I recommend getting it ASAP. It's a vampire romance--one heroine is a lesbian, the other I think prefers women but is most likely bisexual. It's this decades long push/pull, and the sex is reeeeally good. There are some D/s vibes, "good girl"-ing, the strap gets broken out. One heroine also does have on-page sex with another person before the relationship fully gets going; this other person is a trans woman, and I really like how that sex scene was handled, both in terms of consent and in terms of a REAL trippy vibe. Such a good book. Here's my full review.

The Fiancee Farce by Alexandria Bellefleur. If you're more into contemporary romcom vibes, this is a marriage of convenience book with two bi heroines. It's not as explicit as others. There is one full sex scene, and one interrupted sex scene. Very cute if you're looking for something a bit gentler. Full review here.

Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner. A much sex-heavier contemporary. This one has a heroine who's in college and hooks up with an older woman at a bar... only to find out said older woman is her new bestie's mom!!! It's hot. A lot of sneaking around (both characters are out, to be clear). A lot of really good sex.

Queen Takes Rose by Katee Robert. This is one of Katee's Wicked Villains books, and that series is pretty high heat. It's basically a Maleficent/Aurora books but modern--older woman/younger woman, a deal with the devil/contract situation. Very hot.

Katee also has a f/f pirate book coming out soon, and Stone Heart is a f/f book of hers that's basically Medusa/Calypso, but modern. If you're open to m/f/f, The Sea Witch is a triad book that's Ursula/Ariel/Eric. Everyone is together, but there's a bit more emphasis on the f/f aspect, imo.

The Conquering of Tate the Pious by Sierra Simone is a medieval historical romance (not sure if it's available individually yet, was originally released as a part of the Villain I'd Like to F... collection) with a villainous Norman invader lady and an ABBESS. Kinda dark, super sexy, objects are used.

Olivia Waite writes explicit (though not super hardcore) historical romances--The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics is one I would recommend. Cat Sebastian has a f/f novella with one explicit sex scene, A Little Light Mischief.

Hope this helps! It can be difficult to find good f/f books, not because they aren't there, but because there are fewer, they aren't traditionally published as often, and they just aren't discussed as much, unfortunately.

1. how many works do you have an ao3?

I have 37 on AO3 and 80 on FF.net, and most things from my AO3 are on FF excluding like 3 fics. I'm including my FF account because that's where I started posting many many years ago and continued to update until a couple yers ago when I transferred to just posting on AO3. There is a lot of fics on my FF that I haven't crossposted to AO3 yet, and some I probably never will.

2. whats your ao3 word count?

AO3 is 217,634 and FF.net is 287,357

3. what fandoms do you write for?

Nowadays, just Glee, though I do have some WIPs for Stranger Things, Captive Prince, Magnus Archives, and Hatcetfield that I do want to post /someday/. When I started I wrote Supernatural. And over the years I've also written Doctor Who, Takin Over the Asylum, Harry Potter.

4. top 5 fics by kudos

Not So Dapper, Dare, and This Isn't Love all tie for first place with 171. Then there is Chance at 164, I'm Never Letting You Go at 157, Don't You Dare at 150, and Don't Tell Me What You're Thinking at 144.

On FF.Net (by favorites) its The Thoughts I Can't Deny at 163, The Unspoken Rule at 120, A Strange Realization at 142, Icy Love at 101, and Maybe We Can Be Okay at 93.

5. do you respond to comments? why or why not?

I certainly try! I'm always torn between giving hints and secrets and wanting to keep everything close to my chest so the closer someone is to guessing a big plot point or asking a question that I can't answer without spoiling, the less likely I am to respond. Which is why I'm better at responding on one shots, because there's nothing to spoil!

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Ohhhh, probably Say Your Name While Our Tongues Are Tied. There's probably a Blangst fic from back in the day that has a sadder ending, but they're usually at least hopeful. Say Your Name just feels very helpless, like it's hard to envision a world where anyone walks away from this situation happy, you know?

7. whats the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

A Place To Call Home, probably, even though I haven't posted it yet. The Thoughts I Can't Deny probably would have if I'd actually written an ending for it, lol. Tear Down My Reason is definitely very happy, and I Could Touch the Teardrops on Your Face is probably the sappiest ending.

8. do you get hate on fics?

I know I have in the past but I don't remember for what or why, which means it probably didn't really stick with me. And from what I do remember I think it was largely from people who didn't like the characters or ships I was writing about and would come to bitch about that and I'd be like, if you hate Blaine Anderson so much, why are you reading a Klaine fic? I do kind of remember a Kurtofsky shipper coming to complain about how "abusive" Blaine is and I was just like, sure, Jan, when you ship Kurt with the person who threatened to kill him, you definitely have a leg to stand on.

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

I don't as much as I used to and I actually tend to skip over it a lot. I've been much more into the emotional aspect and only really write the sex if I feel like it will add to the heart of what I'm writing.

But oh boy did I used to. And when I did it was pretty much exclusively D/s and kink stuff, and even when it wasn't there would at least be some form of powerplay or marking in an otherwise vanilla scene, just so my kinky brain would have something to latch onto.

10. do you write crossovers? whats the craziest one youve ever written?

Only on occasion? Like I'm currently working on a White Collar/Glee fic and a Magnus Archives/Hatchetfield fic. Aside from that it will be more like just an AU or inspired by a different media. So like, Sebastian Smythe is the flash, but other characters from The Flash don't really appear. Or my Mrs. Winterbourne Seblaine AU. Or the Spies Are Forever inspired Seblaine AU I have currently only managed to write 300 words in.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

I have. I remember someone turning the original Icy Love (which I still haven't crossposted to AO3, oops) into a Larry fic. And I know I've seen some of my stuff around any time there's a new website stealing things from AO3 and putting it behind a paywall. But at some point I got to lazy to care.

I did have a scare a litte while ago where I thought someone had stolen one of my fics because someone commented saying they'd read it under the username comewhattklaine before and I was like I have /never/ used that username before. I've used a lot of pennames over the years but never that one and I went absolutely crazy trying to find where someone with that username at stolen my fic. And then I realized that on my old Scarvesandcoffee account, I had used that name, but that website had been dead for so long i'd forgotten about it.

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

I feel like I have but I cant for the life of me remember what.

13. have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Yes! @itallstartedwithharry and I wrote Tear Down My Reason together. It was an absolutely incredible experience and I always wish that she had the time to write together again because we worked so well together. I was really good at word vomiting on the page and she was really good at cleaning it up and making it more coherent and actually sounding nice. Which is part of why I still ask her to beta for me on fics that are really important to me because she tends to just get what I'm trying to say better than I do sometimes. Like she's been absolutely incredible with betaing A Place to Call Home for me and I'm so glad to have her because she just makes me a better writer.

14. fave all time ship?

Okay. This one is complicated. Because Klaine was my otp to end all otps for so many many years. Klaine means the world to me, it was so incredibly important to me as a teenager and to me accepting my own queerness and feeling safe to come out to my mom (because we bonded a lot over shipping Klaine) and I have written hundreds of thousands of words about those two.

But Seblaine. Ohmygod Seblaine. I have reached a point in my life where my brain is more interested in the kind of stories those two can supply me. In this concept of quantum entanglement that will always pull them together but never ever let it be /easy/ for them. There's just some ways in which I think they're better for each other, I think in some ways they bring out the worst in each other, but that in turn allows to them to truly see the best in each other too. I think the tragedy of their story as it happened is beautiful and cruel. And I just want to explore every crevice of their brains and to never let them go. At some point, Klaine became too easy. They'll always get their happy ending (at least in canon). But Seblaine never will. And the art that can be made from a relationship like that intrigues me far more.

15. wip you want to finish but doubt you will?

Probably La Pute. Of all my old WIPs, it's the most likely to be finished (because I do have some pretty extensive notes on how the plot was supposed to go). But at the same time, that kind of fic that I loved to read and write when I was young (dubcon, noncon, slave fics, etc.) just doesn't interest me the way it used to.

If I were to psychoanalyze myself i'd probably say that my love for stories like that was deeply derived from my sexual repression and inner angst (largely driven by vast amounts of untreated mental illness) that I had no real life experience to draw from so I just used these dark dark stories as a way to try and release any of those emotions. But now as an adult I've lived through many traumas and general life shittiness and I can now find a release for my inner turmoil in writing about things more close to life instead of having to reach into that level of darkness.

16. what are your writing strengths?

Oh I don't even know. I think probably dialogue? That's what usually comes the easiest to me so it's what I would assume, but I'm honestly not sure.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

I tell more than I show. Like I try to describe body language and expression in a way that isn't just "he shifted anxiously" "He looked pissed", stuff like that. But I'm just not great at it, so I tend to just tell the reader what a character is feeling more than anything else.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I'm always drawn to the idea of doing it, but I don't just want to like copy and paste the lines into google translate, you know? And I don't speak any other languages and most of the friends I have that do speak the languages I would want to translate lines into (namely Tagolog and French) aren't Glee fans, so I don't want to make them translate for me.

19. first fandom you wrote for?

Unpublished? Inuyasha/Naruto/Harry Potter/Bleach/probably some other things. I wrote a very extensive self insert fic when I was like 9 or 10 that involved all of those fandoms but it never even got typed up and I lost the binder I was keeping it in probably nearly two decades ago.

Published though it was definitely Supernatural.

20. fave fic youve written?

A Place To Call Home was such a long endeavor and something that was very important to me to finish and it means a lot to me to have finally finished it.

Maybe We Can Be Okay is probably one of my most well-received fics considering the dark content and complex themes. And I'm still really proud of it.

And then it's not out yet, but my fic for the I Want You Back day of 10 Days of Seblaine has been a very difficult fic to write but I'm really happy with how its turning out and I can't wait to share it with you all in November.

Baldur's Gate 3 Companion!Tav Ask List

Ingrid

Deep Gnome Druid - Circle of the Spores

What if your Tav was a recruitable companion, instead of the main character? (contains major spoilers for the game, and for some dark urge runs as well)

General

Where can your Tav be recruited? Are they first encountered on the Nautiloid, or in the Nautiloid crash region? Or are they not recruitable until a later act? She'd be in the Nautiloid crash region. She wouldn't go far before the PC found her.

Do the other companions have special comments or reactions upon recruiting your Tav? Depending on who is around, Gale might ask if she has any druid magic that could help with their tadpoles. The answer will be no. Astarion would probably be displeased with a gnome joining the group, especially a deep gnome.

Does your Tav have any comments or advice when you recruit other companions? She wouldn't say anything. She's shy and, at the beginning of the game, she'd keep to herself. She doesn't get more talkative until you get her approval higher.

What sort of general actions raise or lower their approval? Acts of kindness usually do it. She also reacts well whenever the PC is nice to animals or nature in general. The PC can get her to bond with them by just engaging with her. If you show interest in things she talks about and don't pick dismiss answers, you can get approval. I.E. Don't say "Who cares, shut up" at her.

Are there any instances where your Tav can permanently leave the party, depending on player character actions? She would leave if you kill the tieflings. If the PC abuse animals can also get her to leave. If the PC kills Scratch or the Owlbear cub, she'll leave. Other than that, she'll stick around for almost anything. Even insulting her won't necessarily make her leave.

Do they have any secrets that can be revealed? What are the prerequisites for this secret coming to light? She tends to hold her cards close to her chest. But her big secret is that her father is an Ironhand Gnome. If the PC has earned her trust, she can help navigate the situation with the Ironhand gnomes and runepowder. Her father, Sully, is a huge asshole who she doesn't get along with. He's an artificer who works closely with Wulbren. She keeps quiet about her upbringing unless forced to face it after meeting up with her father. She and her half-brother, Sebastian, left home when they came of age to avoid Sully. They also don't get along with Ingrid's mother, Greta, and Sebastian's mother, Anna. It was an incredibly toxic situation. Killing Sully (along with Greta and/or Anna) is a possibility in this run. Ingrid will have a lot of mixed feelings.

Do they have their own personal quest that spans the course of the game? Can it take different branching paths depending on the choices the Player Character makes? When you get the Ironhand gnomes, the PC's choices can impact her relationship with them or her parents. She won't necessarily leave if the PC kills her parents and/or step-mother though. No matter what goes down, she can't reconcile with her parents. It's also an option for the PC to kill her parents without hurting the Ironhand gnomes as a whole. I'd liken it to Gortash's parents. It can lead to drama with Ingrid, but not necessarily. Her storyline wouldn't really pick up steam until you get to Grymforge.

What do they say when the Player Character asks them to stay in camp? How about when the Player Character asks them to come adventuring again? Ask her to stay: "Wherever you need me, I will go." Asks to come adventuring again: "Of course. I was hoping you'd come collect me again soon."

Does your Tav have any escalating conflicts with one of the other companions, like Lae’zel and Shadowheart’s knife-fight? Ingrid is pretty timid so not really. Astarion might say something about her due to how he feels about gnomes, but it doesn't start a fight or anything.

Are there any unique NPCs associated with your Tav that can show up during the course of the game? Her parents, Sully and Greta, and her step-mother, Anna, a forest gnome. Her half-brother Sebastian (Anna's son) doesn't appear with the Ironhand gnomes. His whereabouts are unknown. Greta is Sully's first wife and Anna hates her. Sully just enjoys being fought over. They're all incredibly toxic and I wouldn't blame the PC if they kill them just to shut them up. I would.

Are there any moments in the game that trigger unique dialogue for your character? (Like Gale’s anecdote about the barfight after you save the goblin prisoner) She would have a lot of dialogue about what she knows about the Ironhand gnomes when it comes to that. The PC might even get info from her about runepowder instead of Barcus or Philomeen. She might also reference her childhood in the Underdark. She mostly talks about nature adventures she has, but under the right circumstances, she might reveal a terrible encounter she had with a Duergar. It left her frazzled and upset. Depending on how the PC interacts with her, she might also tell the story of when she was saved by a druid in the Underdark, decided to become a druid herself.

Story Specific

How does your Tav advise the player character when it comes to the Dream Visitor? At first, she'd say something like "I don't think we should dismiss them entirely, but we do have to be cautious." Later, she'd say, "I had another dream, about the Visitor. I assume you did, too. They said we'll find answers if we infiltrate the cult and they told me to take advantage of the tadpole. I'm worried it's a trap, but... I can't bring myself to reject them either. This might be what saves us. If it means beating this thing, we have to take a risk."

How do they advise the player character on Raphael? "Do not make a deal with a devil. You'll always come out the losing end." She'll disapprove if you want to work with Raphael.

How do they react to Astarion biting the Player Character? "It seems obvious now, looking back. That he's a vampire, I mean. If it was consensual, it's not my place to say anything. Besides, it's in his nature. I'm just glad we found an arrangement that works for our team without a bloodbath."

How do they react to the Player Character letting Abdirak whip them? She would turn beet red and she'd be very flustered. "I... I *clears throat* I won't judge. Um.... I'll sit this one out though. I can't say I like being whipped by total strangers."

How do they react to the Player Character taking their first tadpole power? She'd be mostly curious. She'd probably ask the PC about how it feels and she'd check in on them. She would slowly become curious about the tadpoles even though she'd still be terrified of them. The PC could convince her to try taking more tadpoles.

Will they stay with the Player Character regardless of siding with the goblins or the tieflings, or is it possible for them to leave the party permanently? Nope, she leaves permanently if you side with the goblins. Same if the PC abuses animals, or kills Scratch and/or the Owlbear cub.

What can they be found doing at the tiefling/goblin party? She would be either spending time with some kind of animal she found, like a lizard or mouse. If not that, she might be doing a tarot card reading of sorts.

Do they have comments on who the Player Character chooses to spend the night with? If you asked her, she's a supportive little bean. She'll only have nice things to say. She has a soft spot for everyone in the crew. Astarion: "Astarion? I don't blame you. He's very attractive. He seems like he'd be a heartbreaker though. Be careful." Lae'zel: "I didn't know she would be interested.... I can see why you would choose her. She's an incredible warrior. She's prickly, but I can sense good in her heart." Shadowheart: "I can see why anyone would want to be close to Shadowheart. Something tells me she's hiding something... but it's not my place to get involved." Karlach: "I'm so happy for you two. Karlach deserves all the happiness in the world."

Do they have unique dialogue if the Player Character lets them die when they steal the Blood of Lathander? She'd be so heartbroken. "W-why would you do that? Did you even think about what would happen?" If you apologize, she'll forgive you, especially if you say you weren't trying to kill her.

How do they react if the PC licks the dead spider in the Gauntlet of Shar? "I... support being one with nature, but I have limits. My limits including licking dead spiders." If you do it again, she'd raise her voice, "Stop it! Put it down! Gods, you're like a toddler!"

What do they say if the PC tries to force them to go up on stage with Dribbles the Clown? Telling her to go up: She's terrified. "Me? No, no, no, no. I can't. Not in front of all these people... and with a clown of all things. I'm confident I've read stories about them killing people." Go on, Ingrid!: "If you insist. Mielikki, guide me. Let all the evil clown literature be wrong."

Is it possible for your Tav to be kidnapped and replaced by Orin? How is Orin's deception revealed? How do they react to the PC rescuing them in the Temple of Bhaal? It's definitely possible. As usual, Orin can't get the personality right. She'd have Ingrid acting way too cowardly and trying to run away when, as scared as she is, that's not what she does. She'd be so grateful to be saved. She'd thank them profusely. If they're friends, she'd give them a platonic hug. If romanced, she'd want a hug AND a kiss.

How do they react to the PC either allowing Astarion to ascend or convincing him to spare the 7000 spawn? She would be devastated and worried if he ascended. "I feel like we've lost him. Not physically, but in spirit. I'm in mourning for a lost friend." But she'd be happy about releasing the spawn. She'd tell the PC and Astarion it was the right thing. "Nature will find its way with them."

How does Tav react to the PC becoming a mind flayer? Can they offer to become one themselves? Does their reaction change if they’re romanced? She'd definitely offer to become one if it meant protecting everyone, especially if it meant that no one else would have to become one. She'd immediately go into hiding after the adventure though. If the PC becomes one, she will stay by their side through thick and thin, romanced or not. Once you get this girl on your side, she is ride or die.

How do they react when the Dark Urge first reveals their amnesia and murderous thoughts to them? She'd probably be just as clueless as everyone else. She'd wonder if maybe the tadpole was messing with them and their sense of self. "Don't worry, we'll make sure to keep you safe." Completely unaware it should be the other way around.

How do they react to the Dark Urge killing Alfira? She would be horrified and scared of the PC. When led to believe it's the tadpole or something, she'll pledge to help the PC cure whatever is wrong. Nature's balance must be set right and she's going to help.

If romanced, how do they react to the Dark Urge trying to kill them in Act 2? When she wakes, "Hey, sweetheart... are you alright? What do you need? What's wrong? I don't like how you're looking at me." She'd be shaking the entire time, but doing everything to help Durge hold back the bloodlust. She would say calm, soothing words to them the entire time, even as she's visibly afraid.

Romance

Is your Tav a romanceable character? Are there any specific requirements to romancing them? She's romanceable!

Does your Tav need to be flirted with to start the romance, or will they approach the PC themselves if approval is high enough? She assumes no one is interested in her so the PC would have to make the first move. She'll be pleasantly surprised and have a very, "Are you sure?" reaction at first.

Are they a polyamorous or a monogamous option? She can be polyamorous or monogamous. She goes the way the wind blows.

Do they have a special romance scene at the tiefling/goblin party? She would! If the PC has a high enough approval and flirts with her first, she'll spend the night with them. She's shy, but not necessarily afraid to have sex. It's completely natural, after all.

Does the romance have different branching paths, or just one route to take? If the PC goes evil, she'll break up with them. Outside of that, there's not a lot of paths that I can see right now. Her romance would be pretty straightforward.

How do they react to the player character breaking up with them, or choosing another character over them? Oh, she's crying. She'll wish the PC well unless they cheated on her. If they cheated, she'll tell them how awful it was to do that and how they should have just "Ended it with her to her face instead of running around like a coward behind her back." If they break it off, she'll be honest. PC broke her heart! She still loves them and she'll need time, but she wants nothing but the best for them. She's a potentially poly option, but she still requires communication or else she sees it as cheating.

What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test? The heart is fraught, so let us begin with the joyous. When is she happiest? 1. When she can curl up and read a good scary book. ★ 2. When she's spending time with her parents. (-2) 3. At a huge party with tons of people around. 4. While she's tattooing people or drawing in her notebook. ★ We often gaze through a veil of roses, but love accepts both the petal and the thorn. Ingrid - what is her greatest flaw? 1. She doesn't always reach out for help when she needs it. ★ 2. She's a coward! 3. She reads too many scary stories. 4. She won't shut up about nature. Shame sits in the soul of all - to tame it, we must name it. Ingrid - what is her deepest shame? 1. She really loves gossip and trashy romance novels. ★ 2. She doesn't go home to visit her parents enough. 3. That she abandoned her people years ago to escape the Underdark. 4. How scared she really is when faced with danger. She worries she's a coward. ★

If they’re poly, do they have a reaction to the PC engaging in a relationship with Halsin? She 100% approves. In her gameplay, I had her romance Halsin, so you could convince her to become a throuple with him. She'd get a throuple ending because damn it, I WANT IT. But the throuple ending would not be required to romance her.

How do they react if the PC has sex with Mizora? The Emperor? Haarlep? Fuck Mizora. Ingrid would be pretty angry about it. Not even due to cheating but because it's Mizora. She'd also have mixed feelings about the Emperor and Haarlep. It wouldn't be the end of the relationship, but she'd... converse. She'd probably try to convince the PC not to sleep with Haarlep to begin with to protect them.

Will they join in with the PC and the Drow Twins, or no? Yes. She looks like she'd be a prude, but this girl is a druid. She's in. You just need to communicate. She will be bashful and shy about it, but she's not against it.

What are Tav’s plans for the future? Do they propose to the PC, or is marriage not something they’re interested in? She'd want to go wherever the PC goes. She has no home she's tied to and she is happy to follow them. She'd like to be married, but she's also happy without all of that. (She also doesn't need such ceremony.) She also wouldn't mind a family, be it biological or through adoption.

Free space! Share anything from your companion!Tav au! I made her parents in the character creation, Sully and Greta! I also have Sebastian, but I haven't done Seb's mother, Anna. Since Anna is a forest gnome, Sebastian ended up just looking like a forest gnome. No one knows he's half deep gnome.

Ariel for the character ask

I assume this means Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, not Ariel in The Tempest. I hope I'm right.

Favorite thing about them: She's just an all-around likable heroine. Lively, warm, fun-loving, strong-willed, passionate, flawed in relatable ways, and sympathetic in her longing to explore a new world (which can be viewed through several different layers of applicability – from a teenager longing to enter the adult world, to a young woman seeking freedom from patriarchal oppression, to a young LGBT+ person seeking a life where they can be their authentic self, to an open-minded person defying their family's prejudice against another culture, and probably more), as well as her complex relationship with her loving yet controlling father. And of course her singing voice, courtesy of Jodi Benson, is outstanding.

Least favorite thing about them: Her deal with Ursula, not only because it's foolish and nearly results in Ursula taking over the sea kingdom (although I don't blame Ariel for not predicting that Ursula would use her to bait Triton into sacrificing himself), but because it's selfish – choosing to leave her father and her sisters forever without even saying goodbye. Now I don't hold it against her. She's an impulsive teen, she's in love, she's deeply hurt by her father destroying all her human treasures, and this is the only way she sees to be her true self and live a life of her own choosing. Nor do I find fault with her choice to become human, just the circumstances. But it's still a mistake, and while she does apologize to her father when he comes to save her from Ursula, it's brief and quickly overshadowed by Triton's self-sacrifice for her.

Three things I have in common with them:

Random headcanon: She was the only single birth of Triton and Athena's daughters. Her sisters are all sets of twins or triplets. This explains why none of them are married yet or seem much older than she is, even though she's the youngest of seven.

Unpopular opinion: While I understand all the popular feminist criticism aimed at her, I can't bring myself to agree with it. I wish people would learn about Howard Ashman, and how much of himself he put into Ariel, before they label her a "whiny brat" who "sells her soul for a man" and who "should have died like Andersen's mermaid to show what happens when you sacrifice everything for lust." Knowing that the movie's lyricist was a gay man living in the middle of the AIDS crisis, which would claim his life two years later, and that he infused Ariel's character with his own feelings of alienation and longing for freedom to live and love as he chose (even her voice actress Jodi Benson has confirmed that Ariel is Ashman in many ways), really makes you view her in a new light. So does knowing that Andersen's original story has much the same subtext: Andersen was bisexual, and the tale was evidently inspired by his own "fish out of water" feelings and his unrequited love for another man. And just because Andersen, writing in the 19th century, viewed a self-sacrificial death and heavenly reward as the only possible "happy" ending for someone like him his mermaid, why shouldn't a modern adaptation offer more hope and give Ariel an earthly happy ending? Now of course Ariel isn't a gay man, she's a straight girl, and it is fair to question the message her story sends to girls, since any other message is only subtext. But it's still worthwhile to know the story's entire context, and question whether your critiques of her character seem to say "Misfits should suck it up and stay in their place" or not.

So I too have problems with the Apollo trilogy. So I will list them. But I don't wanna be too negative so I will list positives of the other games.

Apollo Justice sees Phoenix get character assassinated and how come NO ONE DECIDED TO HELP HIM GET HIS BADGE BACK!? Also the magic panties jokes just make me uncomfortable, especially since Trucy is a minor

Dual Destinies had one case that is discount Big Top (I hate game Big Top as much as the next guy, but I was introduced to Ace Attorney via the Anime where it was amazing) and Turnabout Academy, where we find out that parents of a student have been bribing the teachers to give the student good grades without the student knowing. Um...THAT ALREADY HAPPENED!? WHY IS THAT NOT ACKNOWLEDGED!?

Spirit of Justice has amazing concepts executed poorly. That's also why it's my favorite of the Apollo Trilogy. I love media with missed potential. I like rewriting

The first Ace Attorney everything felt grounded and nessasary. No case felt like filler.

JFA has Farewell my Turnabout. Excellent case and I love fictional kidnapping plots. It was so emotional

TandT. Mia's first case, adorable Phoenix, the first non-murder case (though it turns to murder), my favorite defendant (Ronnie!), Iris x Phoenix, more Fey clan drama, Godot, Miego, AN EXCORISM IN THE COURT!???? I LOVE THAT GAME!!!!

Investigations! Flashback case! Mini ziska protecting Miles from her father by diverting his ire. Miles getting attacked by Kay. Franziska wanting a Swiss roll but not admitting it! SIBLING INTERACTIONS!

Investigations 2! The only appearance of my favorite Ace Attorney character, Yumihiko Ichiyanagi, known as Sebastian Debeste in the fan translation. Great character development for most characters, long cases, playable Gregory Edgeworth! Also I like to believe after the events of the game Hakari Mikagami remains Yumihiko's mother figure and Edgey becomes his father figure. But this game you constantly felt in danger, and you faced dangerous people. And there was a kidnapping plot! Logic chess is amazing and KAY AND EDGEWORTH ARE PRECIOUS! If not father and daughter than brother and sister

Bonus!

In Project X Zone 2, Phoenix just wants to go home. He can't because a Bounty Hunter will kill him. He is one of like, three sane characters, the other being Reiji Arisu (original to the X series) and Chrom (Fire Emblem)

Maya is HERE for the action! She says M. Bison has a butt chin TO HIS FACE! She is having waaaay to much fun!

Apparently during the trial, Phoenix had to tell Majima not to punch the judge

Responding under the cut so this doesn't get insanely long!!

My issues with AJ tend to be more from the standpoint that I find the cases to be slightly poorly constructed and uninteresting personally and less that I dislike the characters/characterisation of preexisting characters. I get where the character assassination viewpoint comes from, but I don't really agree/mind it very much. Phoenix has shown many instances where he will close himself off from his friends and simply refuse to talk because it hurts him too much to do so (not telling Maya what's up in JfA springs to mind immediately, but there's also the whole Dahlia/Iris debacle that happened which he just never brings up), so I think AJ Phoenix is just that pushed to the extreme. He's also got that tendency to mimic people he's around a lot, and we know he was hanging out with Kristoph very often during that time, so I think he picked up much of his slippery, oblique nature from him as well. Plus, he's been shown to go through extreme personality shifts; it's not that strange to me to think he'd have one when his life was falling apart around him. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not huge into AJ Phoenix, but while I may not like him very much, I do understand where it comes from. He wasn't even meant to be in the game at first so like. Eh. I'm mostly just glad he's still around.

As for the no one helping him get his badge back thing, I think they were trying to help. But the whole Dark Age of the Law thing doesn't happen in isolation; a failing legal system affects an entire society, so while I think his friends were trying to assist him as best they could, and as much as they would let him (because Phoenix isn't the type to readily accept help either. It has to do with that whole being closed off thing he does, and you can't really help someone who won't let you/doesn't want to be helped. At the end of the day, Phoenix is an adult and allowed to live his life as best as he sees fit), they probably had their own issues to figure out. As the future Chief Prosecutor, Edgeworth definitely would have been caught up in the entire mess that was the Dark Age and likely would have had too many more pressing cases to handle to really dedicate his time to Phoenix's plight. Phoenix probably decided it'd be faster and better for everyone if he took care of it in his own way. It's heavily implied that Edgeworth did help with the whole Mason system that comes in at the end of AJ, so I think they were probably working on it together in the background of the games anyway. I don't have much to say about the magic panties gag, that shit is weird, you're right HAHAH I don't think anyone who's played the game has found it funny so like ??? Don't know why it's there, don't like it, next.

I actually don't mind Big Top tbh; I think it has many interesting themes about secrecy, grief and responsibility. It's just a little long and has some WEIRD decisions made character-wise. The only thing I remember about DD's version is Trucy weeping, and Phoenix failing to fly back to be with her though she's been arrested (this is the bigger character assassination imo. Wtf, Phoenix. Even if you'd be late for the trial, you could still fly home). Shockingly enough, I liked Academy (in comparison to the rest of DD anyway). It's the single case which I actually found a semblance of enjoyment from in DD; it was funny and largely inoffensive, if not much else. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were fine reusing Sebastian's backstory because it didn't play /that/ huge of a role in AAI2 and because AAI2 was never officially localised and therefore would be less popular/well known. I'm not particularly surprised; they've done worse than reuse a plotline.

SoJ is a complete mess in my opinion, but I'm glad you liked it <3

Mmhm, yeah, full agree on the original trilogy. It's great. Same with Investigations 1; I adored every single character introduced in that game. I thought it was super fun. I largely dislike the adjustment made in Kay and Edgeworth's relationship in AAI2, but I've spoken about that at length, so I won't go into it here. I found AAI2 slightly draggy and chaotic at times, but I get why people love it, and I really liked Sebastian and Justine. It was a lot more high stakes than usual, and I love that we got to see more of the prison system and the like, that was cool. It's a good one. I like it.

... Phoenix is being hunted by a bounty hunter?? Poor man can't catch a break. CHROM??? FEA CHROM????? Omg, it's him. Omg. I love you, Chrom. AND LUCINA!!!!! LUCINA, MY DAUGHTER!!!!!! That's soooo cute haha. This game seems like loads of fun. I like it so much.
