Never underestimate the place where you spent 40 hours every week, a.k.a. work, and the effects it will have on your mental health.

I am severely sunburnt. 

I followed through on the plans I made yesterday, getting Indian food and sitting in the sun all day. Unfortunately I fell asleep in the sun and woke up with bright red skin. I beat a hasty retreat to the shade. 

I decided to call Habit, see how he was doing, tell him about my adventure. He was very excited to hear about it. 

He also said that the dispute between him and Pam was mostly settled with a lot of pointless “conflict resolution” and a verbal warning each, but it was still somewhat tense around the office. At least Pam had been told to only offer once if she had an event to invite us to. 

I'm drinking hot tea and putting aloe on my burn, still don't miss the cold.
