Jewish Peter isn’t an uncommon headcanon at all but I still get cold feet about posting about it in decent depth. I feel like a lot of religious discussion can make some people wary, but I find religion really fascinating and a great way to apply further context to things, so I like to post about it anyway lol. I’m a Benito Fan, and I agree with most of what you said. Especially content wise—why would we expect him to write a song with that content. But also, the setup of that type of tweet itself seems to belittle Harry’s work with As It Was. Not sure what his intent was, especially because he has been so vocal about his liking Harry. I think overall, it just seems super weird/inconsistent. Especially since the original tweeter said they are also a Harry fan and I think they even said the tweet wasn’t meant to address the content of the BB song necessarily they just tweeted it to be funny. (I hope this doesn’t come across as super defensive because I really don’t mean to be, and I do love both of them…mostly just trying to say it came across as inconsistent if nothing else)

I don’t disagree with you at all, I do think it was a bad choice and it is inconsistent to how he’s spoken about Harry before and there was just no need, even if it wasn’t done with a malicious intent because of course that’s how it was going to come across as. I just don’t consider it to be ‘cancel’ worthy behavior. At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s that deep and he is the one that shot himself in the foot. Harry’s extremely big and yeah, that means people will hate him for no reason and use his name to make funny tweets. I doubt he’s bothered by it, his career and success won’t suffer from it, and frankly it’s not something I pay too much attention to. It is what it is.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
