Max Verstappen, the reigning Formula One world champion, claims that despite initially rejecting the Netflix docuseries "Drive to Survive" due to the way its protagonists were depicted, he is now prepared to collaborate with it.

The fourth season of the behind-the-scenes programme, which debuted this year, did not have the Red Bull driver cooperating with the filmmakers.

In the most recent season, Verstappen and Mercedes opponent and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton engaged in a controversial and intense title race.

When Netflix and Formula One announced two additional seasons in May, the Dutch 24-year-old said he was now more involved. In March, he said it was not his thing and that his opinion was not likely to change.

"I just sat together with them and I explained how I thought about it and what I thought went wrong in the past and it was actually a very good, quick little chat and we'll try to improve from there," he told reporters at the British Grand Prix.

He claimed that he would have more control over the footage and how he was portrayed.

"That's all I'm asking for. That's it just more realistic, at least from my side," he said.

"I cannot control, of course, what they do with other drivers, but at least I want to be in control with what I'm releasing. That's what we're going to do.

"I hope, of course, that it's going to be good, because I also understand that Netflix really helped a lot for the popularity, especially in the U.S., and I don't mind playing a role in that but it needs to be good for both of us."

Stefano Domenicali, the chief executive of Formula One, promised to speak with Netflix about keeping the story grounded in reality in March.

A rise in popularity in the formerly competitive American market has been attributed in large part to "Drive to Survive," which has been instrumental in attracting new, younger followers to the sport.

However, it has come under fire for creating rivalries between drivers and taking comments said on the radio out of context.

When she released the nipple during fashion week, Florence Pugh did not apologise.

The Oscar-nominated actress turned to Instagram to defend her daring fashion decision after receiving backlash for attending the Valentino Haute Couture show in Rome earlier this week while dressed in a sheer gown.

"Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn't be a commentary on it," she began her lengthy message on July 10, along with photos of the controversial look. "Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing."

Florence, 24, acknowledged that "not a wink" of her was nervous when she wore the hot pink tulle dress that Pierpaolo Piccioli, the label's creative director, had designed in his signature shade.

"What's been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman's body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see," she continued. "It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time a woman will hear what's wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what's worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be."

Brushing off the harsh critiques, the actress said she has long "come to terms with the intricacies of" her body and has learned to be happy with the "flaws" others point out.

"So many of you wanted to aggressively let me know how disappointed you were by my ‘tiny t--s', or how I should be embarrassed by being so ‘flat chested,' she said. "I've lived in my body for a long time. I'm fully aware of my breast size and am not scared of it."

Florence also pondered why so many people are "scared of breasts" and feels "grateful" for having grown up in a home with such strong, capable, and voluptuous women.

"We were raised to find power in the creases of our body," she shared. "To be loud about being comfortable. It has always been my mission in this industry to say ‘f--k it and f--k that' whenever anyone expects my body to morph into an opinion of what's hot or sexually attractive."

She added, "I wore that dress because I know."

The actress concluded by challenging her detractors to "grow up" and consider why it is so simple for them to verbally and publically abuse women in 2022.

"Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans," she concluded. "Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise. And all because of two cute little nipples."

Florence attended the July 8 event and sat front row with Anna Wintour of Vogue for the Valentino Autumn/Winter 2022 runway show. Anne Hathaway, Ariana DeBose, Ashley Park from Emily in Paris, Charles Melton from Riverdale, Andrew Garfield, Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, and Dan Levy from Schitt's Creek all joined her.
