2023 is already on track to be the hottest ever recorded

The planet will be hotter in 2023 than in any other year in recorded history, The Guardian reports.

The scientists made the announcement ahead of a landmark climate summit to be held this month. Samantha Burgess, the deputy director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service, said:

“We can say with near certainty that 2023 will be the warmest year on record, and is currently 1.43C above the pre-industrial average. The sense of urgency for ambitious climate action going into Cop28 has never been higher.”

Copernicus scientists report that last month was the hottest October on record. The temperature was 1.7 C above what was considered average for October in the late 1800s.

As for the truce deal: From what I’ve gathered, Israeli denied entry of aid, Hamas then delayed hostage release in return. Then a Israeli military official said if the hostages aren’t returned they’ll start the fighting again. This would end the truce early.

There has been much discussion in the last few weeks about the slogan, "From the river to the sea," with the Palestinian-American congresswoman Rashida Talib censured by the Congress for invoking it and the widespread adoption of the phrase by progressive pro-Palestinian groups cited as evidence of antisemitism.

While I'm sympathetic to the arguments by e.g. Talib that her use of the phrase is not intended literally but only as a means of identifying with a historical struggle, I likewise cannot disagree that in purely rational terms the phrase is inherently problematic.

But what has been missing from this conversation is the realisation that Hawks on the Israeli side have had their own equivalent of this slogan, with the same problematic implication, in this case explicitly intended, of the complete elimination of the other group. During Operation Protective Edge in 2014, current Israeli PM Netanyahu stated his attitude towards the peace process, which is the attitude which has always guided Israel's ruling elite:

"I think the Israeli people understand now what I always say: that there cannot be a situation, under any agreement, in which we relinquish security control of the territory west of the River Jordan."

In other words, from the river to the sea, Israeli hegemony.

Missile strike on the village of Groza in Kharkiv region

On October 5th ruzzia launched an Iskander missile strike on the village of Groza, more precisely - on its main grocery store and cafe where commemoration for Andriy Kozyr, a Ukrainian war veteran, was carried out. 52 people were killed. The total population of the village before war was about 500 people. Before the missile strike about 100 people lived there. Do the math yourself.

Some of those who were killed:

The whole family of Andriy

His son Denys Kozyr - before the full-scale ruzzian war Denys and his father worked in Poland, on February 24th they decided to come back to Ukraine and protect their country.

Son’s wife Nina Kozyr - studied musical art to become a teacher

Mother of Nina and grandparents of Denys were also killed.

Viktoriya Sapach - a nurse in the emergency department

Alina Sirokurova & Maksym Sirokurov - a couple of entrepreneurs who were selling children's toys and clothes. The couple had two sons, 2 & 4 yo, who are now orphans thanks to ruzzians

Volodymyr Mukhovatyy - a computer science teacher, head of the financial literacy club. His mother and wife died as well.

Tamara Solyanyk - a math teacher

The youngest victim was 8 years old.

It is always painful to read about victims of ruzzian death cult, because behind each of them there are parents who lost their child, spouses who lost their partner, children who lost their parents etc etc etc. So many memories and joyful moments that will never be made. But it’s even more painful and terrifying to read about whole families being wiped out by a single rocket. Nobody was left behind, there are only empty houses and photographs that no one will look at anymore.

Genocide is ruzzian culture.

IDF confiscated weapons cache and supplies during Hamas attack

The Israel Defence Forces seized a large cache of 20% of the weapons and supplies used to kill Israelis.

The weapons seized from Hamas included rockets, grenades, rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition. According to the IDF, the labels on the weapons indicated that the materials were manufactured by Hamas.

The IDF claims that all of the confiscated weapons were used in the October 7 attack on Israel.

In order to prevent further attacks, the IDF will see to the removal of Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure and weapon manufacturers in Gaza.

During the attack, Hamas terrorists killed more than 3,600 people, leading to Israeli retaliation. Thousands more were wounded, and many more were taken hostage by Hamas, raped, tortured and murdered.
