101 fun fact about Ibara Saegusa
1. He would ghost people's call and text especially at work
2. He doesn't start conversations if he doesn't think you are worth it
3. He'd reply in automatic reply and would gloss over the convo if he isn't interested
4. The sociable business man trait is just persona, he actually always drained from socialising, he prefers to be alone and work alone
5. When he escaped from eden, he does miss the noise eden made in his life but actually excited to be alone too
6. He tends to avoid potential problems because he wouldn't be able to gloss over it if he perceives it
7. He doesn't always think about taking advantage of everything, especially things that would lead to his emotional problems. But when it won't take risk for him then he would always aim for the best.

9. Ibara takes producing very seriously, he designs everything from outfit stage to merchandise and would even do his own research for it. Ibara would also write lyric for Eden songs

But when the anime profile with food they like released, the chibi artist for enstars merch drew fanart of Ibara enjoying protein jelly so this led to lots of fans thinking that Ibara enjoy food with jelly-like texture. But yeah unfortunately both jelly and pudding are not in canon
92. His likes are something that he collected. Be it data or just something simple. he always treasure each of it. You can see him being extra protective to his laptop in the WG's rooftop scene. Towards ahem [ eden ] that he created and collected by himself. Even something as simple as the time water that he got from Kanata's aquarium after he was so immersed in the bigger mechanism of it in the aquarium itself
93. Ibara thought that Yuzuru has complicated feelings about dogs because they are used to being treated even lower than dogs in the facility so he really likes teasing Yuzuru with dogs. He didn't know that Yuzuru has trauma with dog because of King — Himemiya's dog

Fufu even said that he has "attachment" to eden that's why he reject Anzu's offer to help him back in conquest ❤️ The success of Rouge and Ruby was result of Ibara's love to Eden and EdenP

Inside My Head(canon): A Family Tradition
Some of you may have noticed in some of my recent story posts, parts 4 and 5 of "Challenge Accepted" to be precise, that the WVBA's Irish bad boy Aran Ryan mentions that he has a fight upcoming with The Sandman and that he's going to hand him his first loss. But if you check out my "History of the WVBA," you'll see that in my story Mr. Sandman was the first WVBA Champion over 25 years ago and has lost before. So what gives? Simply put, in my story, the Sands are a WVBA legacy.
Tyrell “The Razor” Sands started his boxing career more than 40 years ago, first as an amateur, then going pro. His flamboyant style and knockout artistry earned him the nickname "The Sandman" in the press. He would soon capture the North American and Continental Heavyweight Titles, but promoters refused to sign the loudmouthed and opinionated Sands to a World Title fight. Their fear was that Sands wouldn't play ball with the boxing establishment and that fear was well-founded.
The founding of the WVBA saw many of the world's best boxers, many of whom had been shunned by the establishment, signing exclusive deals. Sands, now in the prime of his career, knew he had to be part of this groundbreaking league. A press conference was held to announce the WVBA Championship Tournament and Sands was brought out as the final participant. When he came on stage, a brash young Turkish fighter going by Bald Bull called him out in a most disrespectful manner, yelling for "The Sandman." What Sands said in response is one of the WVBA's most famous moments...
"Look here, kid. I'm gonna do what somebody shoulda done to you a long time ago. I'm gonna beat some respect into you, son. By the time I'm done, you gonna call me MISTER Sandman."
The rest, as they say, was history.
From that day forward, the WVBA was the domain of Mr. Sandman and he was its undisputed champion and star. He would be the most popular fighter in the league, appearing on talk shows, having cameos in TV and movies, and signing multiple endorsement deals. But, through all of it, Sands was humble behind the scenes. Behind the flamboyant Mr. Sandman was now a hard working family man, a dedicated boxer, and a loyal friend. After multiple reigns as WVBA Heavyweight and, later, World Circuit Champion, Mr. Sandman decided it was time to hang up the gloves.
The first of his four children, his son Andre, was born during his first reign as World Circuit Champion. After he lost the title to Super Macho Man and his next child, his daughter Nanshe, was born, Sands dedicated himself to his family. He still made appearances for the WVBA until its closing, often serving as a color commentator on WVBA pay-per-views, but his focus was now at home.
Being born into the Sands family meant that fighting was often forced upon you. Not by their father, mind you, but by those kids who wanted to prove how tough they were by beating up the Champ's kids. The first time Andre came home with a black eye, Tyrell made the decision that all of his children would know how to defend themselves. And so began Andre's introduction to boxing.
While Tyrell Sands is largely based on the Mr. Sandman of the Punch-Out!! video games, just with a less threatening and more fleshed out persona, his son Andre is based on the character Sandman from an old Punch-Out!! fan film by Team Awesome. It was an entry in the Nintendo Short Cuts contest and can be found here.
In that fan film, Little Mac beat Mister Sandman for the title, but then was brutally beaten in the return match and retired. When Mac sees Mr. Sandman’s son, simply called The Sandman, is the new champ and that he says if his father hadn’t beaten Mac into retirement, he would have, Mac makes a comeback for a dramatic showdown with the new champ. It’s this braggadocious, arrogant character that inspired Andre.
Andre Sands learned the sweet science at his father’s knee. Gifted with natural athletic skills and with his father’s incredible ring knowledge to learn from, Andre was soon a standout amateur, winning multiple local and regional Silver and Golden Gloves competitions. When Andre decided to go pro instead of going to college, he and his dad had a falling out.
As a professional, Andre quickly became a star, but was carefully protected and groomed by promoters without his knowledge. This led to Andre’s ego growing and him becoming more arrogant and cocky. These traits bled into all aspects of his life and career. He began to play with opponents, openly mocking them and showboating en route to his victories, often by knockout.
When the WVBA relaunched, Andre initially turned down their invitation to join on the advice of his team of agents and promoters. But when fans started to say that the son couldn’t measure up to the father, that he wasn’t joining the WVBA because deep down Andre knew he couldn’t live up to Mr. Sandman’s legacy, the blow to Andre’s ego was more than he could handle.
Now, Andre is in the WVBA, still undefeated, still racking up knockout after knockout. His goal is simple, to capture the WVBA World Circuit Championship and not just eclipse his father’s legacy, but to supplant it entirely. Taking the ring name The Sandman, Andre Sands plans to win the title undefeated and make the boxing world forget the Mister.

Background: Hanna is some sort of fairy that arrived in the land and got chaperoned by Captain Puffy and Purpled. A kind, cheerful lover of decor and cleaning up messes she immediately “built" a good relationship with Foolish, for their common passions. However, this personality of her was tainted when the red vines of the EGG covered her house and created a new evil persona in her despite the efforts of Awsamdude to remove them. This new persona was more easy to control under the influence of the EGG and it showed off especially during the events of the Red Banquet when she betrayed (almost) everyone and allowed Foolish to be sacrificed to the altar. After Quackity showed up with the mercenaries Technoblade & Purpled the Eggpyre was forced to flee especially when Puffy landed a killing blow on Antfrost. Only when Awsamdude sealed the EGG in an obsidian box his influence was reduced and a distraught Hanna was devastated for what she did. However, she successfully entered a “public service” at Sam bank to redeem herself under a VERY strict leash. After a while, she (re)gained wings but lost them because of BoomerNa and she got at war with him. Hanna lost friends, her wings and so much more and she wished with all her heart to recover all of that. “If it wasn’t for that EGG… all of this would have never happened.” She muttered on her bed as she felt the world falling on her. “Does this fair lady wishes for a new chance? It can be done.” A voice was heard. “Who?! Who is this? How did you enter my house?” Hanna jumped on her bed and a bit nervously grabber her sword. “I am not in your house. But my proposal is simple: find me, and i will grant your wish. ONE wish. Limited only by your imagination. The others have accepted.” Hanna stuttered: “Who?” The others? Does that mean also the rest of the people of the land have accepted? Boomer too? Seeing an opportunity to AT LEAST recover her wings, she clenched her teeth and whispered: ”I accept.” The world shifted but her being started to split apart. Screaming she tumbled down and landed in a forest. As soon as she recovered she stood up in the form of a small fairy with WINGS! “Oh dear, it appears not all went straight, look my dear.” Hanna saw a figure clad in a dark armor stand up, dark wings made of vines… It was… HER? but the look in her eyes… vicious, malevolent, merciless. Hanna observed as “She” looked upon her and closed her helmet to then take flight on a dark obsidian horse quickly disappearing from her sight. “What was that?” She screamed. The voice spoke surprised: “Oh my! Apparently a part of yourself is still linked to that red thing! Well, i am sure you will catch up. Have fun finding me!” Hanna tried to call the voice in vain. Hanna knew, she had to hurry… least that “thing” did something very wrong.

I'm doing better (although living on my own is WEIRD after being with my ex for 21 years), and I wanted to thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. I'm getting through this one day at a time, and I'll make it to the other side of the road. 🐔
Anyway, there was a recent list of best comedians in the 21st century in the Telegraph on the eve of the Fringe Festival, and some of my favorite comics were included! 👀
Here's the descriptions for those curious—I highly recommend all of these incredible comics, ESPECIALLY number 1:
44. Kate Berlant (my article about her and Bo; audience interviews for Kate coming soon!)
A warped mirror for millennial smugness, 36-year-old Berlant’s narcissistic persona and fast-paced, deadpan delivery have inspired a host of great younger acts (including Leo Reich). Her half-improvised, stream-of-consciousness patter is a kind of thrilling comedy glossolalia, while her mind-reading routine is some of the funniest failed stage-magic since Tommy Cooper. It’s easy to take Acaster for granted – he’s constantly on panel shows and podcasts. But his 2018 stand-up shows (collected on Netflix as Repertoire) are works of borderline genius; baroque puzzle-boxes, all buried callbacks and high-concept whimsy. If he once seemed a bit aloof and impersonal, that mask fell with his most recent West End show: a confessional tour-de-force about being dumped by his girlfriend for Rowan Atkinson.
5. Tim Minchin (my article about him and Bo)
The kohl-eyed, frantic-haired Aussie already felt like the finished article when he parachuted into the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe with his sensational debut, which parodied teen popstar dreams with precision-tooled, beat-perfect musical numbers. Almost two decades later – after stage-musical success with Matilda and Groundhog Day – his live shows come with more contemplation and political edge, but that twinkly-eyed mischief is still there. Minchin evolves with age, and is all the better for it.
4. Maria Bamford (my article about her and Bo)
A critic once called Bamford schizophrenic. She corrected him: “That’s not my mental illness! Schizophrenia is, of course, hearing voices, not doing voices.” An impressionist whose vocal acrobatics are usually used to imitate her own family, Bamford can be surreal, confessional or staggeringly dark (especially stories about her time “in the psych ward”), but is always thrilling. Her rare performances – in her own front room, car parks, or to just one audience member at a time – are unique. Wildly original, and a crucial influence on countless young British acts, she is, to my mind, America’s greatest living stand-up.

Burnham is the 21st-century comedian. Recorded in his bedroom, the razor-sharp New Englander’s piano-driven songs made him a YouTube sensation by the age of 19, at which point, in 2010, he astonished British audiences with an almost bewilderingly precocious stage debut, Words, Words, Words.
His follow-up, What, was better yet, a royal-flush hour of ingeniously sly musical, character and meta-comedy that was the undisputed hit of 2013. As he told me at the time, “I do hope my sort of frantic, the-floor-is-lava type of comedy is a mimic of what it feels like to be alive now.” Indeed it was, and, although panic attacks took Burnham away from the stage for some years, he blithely whipped up the acclaimed feature film Eighth Grade in 2018, and three years later returned to the public eye with the Netflix special Inside.
This was locked-down comedy – as “live” as it could be at the time – about the misery, isolation and gnawing insecurity of being a young comic unable to perform, so finely observed, intricately constructed and beautifully written it made your head spin. In terms of capturing that bizarre moment, mining it for laughs, and speaking both to his own generation and to all of us imprisoned in our own homes, no one else even came close.

She talks like a dairy queen, like Britney Spears, like a cheerleader. 24 years old and exuding the hardy effervescence unique to healthy American girls, there is nothing in Del Rey’s manner that connects the voice at the end of the line to ‘Video Games’, the YouTube smash hit carried by a purring vocal performance so rich you can feel almost feel David Lynch’s velvet carpeting under your fingers.
That is until I hit playback on my telephone’s dictaphone. Slowly all the years of a weary, haunted youth spent in backwoods New York State unravel from under her bubbly facade, like furtive murmurings on the other side of a door. As per the many doomed chanteuses and dead movie idols she invokes in her cinematic music, it seems Del Rey is a good actress. In true Lynch fashion, beneath her white picket-fenced cheer hide the writhing earthworms that plague her heavy heart.
With increasing frequency, naysayers are testing the walls of Del Ray’s persona, in particular questioning exactly who should be credited for her perfectly realised Valley of the Dolls aesthetic. Amidst universal praise for ‘Video Games’, she’s nevertheless faced the incredulity of everyone from high profile bloggers to broadsheet columnists to disgruntled indie stars (Amy Klein of Titus Andronicus threw her oar in), some of whom are convinced she’s a kohl-eyed marketing ploy and as fake as those eyelash extensions. So in a delicious twist of dramatic irony, it’s precisely Del Rey’s persona – the artifice – that forms her only barrier of defence against the media’s worst advances.

Because it seems her story up to now, if largely less glamorous, isn’t so different to that of the Marilyn Monroes or the Judy Garlands, or indeed Lynch’s own tragic starlet in Mulholland Drive. The story goes: smalltown girl moves to the big city, falls into dark waters, becomes forever imprisoned in the house of mirrors that is the media’s oppressive gaze.

Have you always had a dark side, Lana?
When I was younger I felt lonely… In terms of my thought processes. I had the constant feeling that I thought differently to everyone around me. So, I suppose I felt lonely for a home. I didn’t know where I wanted to be, but I knew I wasn’t there yet. I think that this loneliness set a dark undertone for things to come.
Are you a David Lynch fan?
Yeah. When I was a kid playing in bars in Lake Placid, after every show somebody would come up to me and be like ‘You must be a David Lynch fan!’. At the time I wasn’t up on ‘all things cool’, but I looked into Lynch and quickly became a fan. Although I think the themes he explores are a step further into the extreme than I’m prepared to go.
If you can put it down to one scene, which Lynch moment do you return to most for inspiration when writing? I envisage something like the Mulholland Drive theatre sequence, crossed with the home video of a dead Laura Palmer dancing with Donna on the hill.
Have you ever seen Fire Walk With Me and the scenes where Laura Palmer is in the bar with the lumberjacks, sort of dancing and getting crazy? Well, it’s that frightening sensation of being out of control that really sticks in my mind.
Some of the music in your chosen field of expertise suggests love has more to do with obsession than companionship. For example ‘The End Of The World’ by Skeeter Davis has a creepy What Ever Happened To Baby Jane quality about it. And then there’s your line from ‘Video Games’: ‘It’s you, it’s you, it’s all for you / Everything I do’. Does this idea resonate with you?
I really love that [Davis] song, actually. And yeah, that idea resonates with me. Growing up I was always prone to obsession, partly because of the way I am, but partly because after feeling so lonely for such a long time, when I found someone or something that I liked, I felt helplessly drawn to it. I suppose that accounts for some of the creepiness in my music.
Like a fatal attraction?
Yeah. After I was sent away to school when I was 15, I had to start life on my own. So I began looking for that ‘someone’ to hang on to. And if it so happened that I found him, then there have been occasions in the past where I’ve been overtaken by my feelings. But with some of the bad things that come with love, there’s also a lot of good… For example that connection… which I struggle to have with most people. So although there’s a dark side to love, there’s also something really hopeful.
You moved to New York City at age 18. Were you at all inspired by New York’s noirish undertones?
Yeah. The way I experienced New York, for a long time after I moved, was alone and at night, walking the streets. I mean, there are thousands of streets in New York and I know them all. I’d go down to the tip of Manhattan, or even down to Coney Island, then travel all the way back up. Because I come from a place that, geographically, isn’t that stimulating. But New York’s architecture alone is enough to inspire a whole album. In fact, that’s what happened at first – my early stuff was mostly just interpretations of landscapes.
Do you feel yourself change when ‘in character’?
‘Lana’ and ‘Lizzy’ are the same person. I wish I could escape into some alter-ego, just so I could feel more comfortable onstage, but I feel the same as Lana as I do Lizzy.
How was it working with David Kahne [The Strokes, Regina Spector, Paul McCartney] on your debut? He has a background in replicating bygone eras.
It was validating when David asked to work with me, only a day after he got my demo. He has known as a producer with a lot integrity and who had an interest in making music that wasn’t just pop.
In terms of instruction, what was Kahne’s input?
He had a lot of things he wanted done. For example, he was interested in a more traditional vocal style and I wasn’t. He’s also a real scientist, so he had a very particular plan. The album ended up somewhere in between what he wanted and what I wanted.
There’s a theory that the archetype you portray plays to male sexual fantasies?
In the video for ‘Video Games’, I was trying to look smart and well turned-out, rather than ‘sexy’. Of course I wanted to look good, but ‘smart’ was the primary focus.
What inspired ‘Video Games’?
A boy. I think we came together because we were both outsiders. It was perfect. But I think with that contentment also comes sadness. There was something heavenly about that life – we’d go to work and he’d play his video games – but also it was maybe too regular. At the time I was becoming disillusioned with being a singer and was very happy to settle with a boyfriend who I loved, but in the end we both lost sight of our dreams. Maybe there’s something not-so-special about domestic life.
A popular American blog recently published a supposed exposé on you, with accusations of inauthenticity. Do you feel like you’ve had your eyes opened? [At the beginning of the interview tQ apologises in advance for ‘going on a bit’. Lizzy/Lana’s telling response is ‘Better a bore than an assassin…’]
I dunno. If I say anything they’ll just publish something like [speaks like an anchorman reading the headlines] ‘Lana Del Ray Gets Her Feelings Hurt!’. It just seemed that with that one article, they were particularly cruel. Not in a playground/indie/mean way, but in a personal vendetta sort of way. They really made it their mission to destroy me. I’m not a confrontational person, so if that’s going to be my life from here on, I’d honestly rather not sing or have a career.
In an interview with Pitchfork you said that people have offered you opportunities in exchange for sleeping with them. Is this true? At the corporate level?
[Laughs, then becomes tongue-tied]
I mean… uh… uh… I mean things get a little crazy, I guess.
Um… There are some situations when you kind of know.
… I mean, it’s sort of a loaded question.
It’s common knowledge that The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde was, by her own admittance, hopelessly drawn to the bad boys – damaged and dark men. Would that be the case with Lizzy?
Yeah, in the past that has been the case. I think with so-called ‘creative’ people, their particular strain of genius can cause the pendulum to swing too far – into self-destruction and what you could call ‘madness’, which is something I can relate to. So, yes, I was once attracted to that. But that was then. Now I’m looking for something more simple.
You also told Pitchfork that God has saved your life a million times, which strikes me as in opposition to your music. Because, in films based in small town America, religion is frequently a patriarchal, repressive and evil presence, with the archetype you portray acting as a force in subverting it.
I think there’s a division of organised religion similar to what you’ve described. But where I’m concerned, my understanding of God has come from my own personal experiences… because I was in trouble so many times in New York that if you were me, you would believe in God too. When things get bad enough, your only resort is to lie in bed and start praying. I dunno about congregating once a week in a church and all that, but when I heard there is a divine power you can call on, I did. I suppose my approach to religion is like my approach to music – I take what I want and leave the rest.
What kind of ‘trouble’?
Any and all. When I was in New York I had nowhere to live, and I was trying to find a way to be a musician… Just trying to survive, which is fucking hard by the way. So I got myself into a lot of situations I didn’t plan on. [Pauses] I think what I was going for was something beautiful, but I kinda got myself into trouble along the way. Sorry, that’s pretty vague.
But you live in London now?
No, not yet. I’ve been in London for most of the last two years, but I’ll book three months there then go home to New York for three weeks. However, when I’m not working I go see my friends in Glasgow, so I spend my time there when I want to have fun. I’m in Glasgow right now.
Any encounters with [notorious angry drink enjoyed especially in Celtic territories] Buckfast? I like the image of you stabbing someone in a car park.
[Laughs] No, I’m a good girl. I leave the drinking to the boys these days.
Do you feel that the ‘Femme Fatale’ archetype still has the power to tap into ‘male sexual anxieties’ or challenge a patriarchal society?
If I’m honest, no. Not as much as it used to. In the 50s it was a new premise, a new form of female power. I think that these days, plain old intellectualism is a more powerful force than the idea of the femme fatale.
Why is it, do you feel, that so much of ‘Golden Age’ pop placed love, and laterally eroticism, in such close proximity with notions of death? In particular the music of Roy Orbison.
I suppose because, sometimes, love feels like a life or death situation. I mean, losing true love is pretty much as bad as it gets, other than actually dying or losing good health. Most people know that. Most people can relate. As Davis says, it’s like the end of the world.

Emergence of a Queen (2.4k words), Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli x OC (Patricia Abbandonato)
Summary: After saving an injured Esidisi, Kars uses a technique on Patricia that manifests in form what's deep down in her heart and conscious; the dark side of herself that dwells within.
A/N: The concept of a shadow self specifically shown in this fic is directly inspired by the shadow selves seen in the video game Persona 4
The room was only dimly lit. Kars sat cross-legged in the faint light from the candles in silence, deep in his thoughts. Those thoughts didn't last long however, as he sensed another presence approaching and stopping at the room he was in.
“What is it Whamuu?” The pillar man asked calmly.
Emerging from the shadows and into the dim light, Whammu went down on one knee with his head hung..
“It's Lord Esidisi, Lord Kars. I can not seem to find him.”
“What Esidisi does is none of my concern, as long as he isn't causing trouble or potentially ruining our plan.”
“...Yes my Lord. We're near Venice though. Is that not where Jojo and Caesar are training? Lord Esidisi told us both before that he tracked the two down to a specific location in Venice. I was not told where this location was, but I assume he must have told you, Lord Kars.”
This caught Kars's attention.
“Just what are you insinuating Whamuu?”
“Well, he had said to us before the Red Stone of Aja was where those are training. Do you think he would have...?”
Kars frowned. “If he has gone where you're implying, then I must pick the fool up. We are superior beings, yes, but we all agreed that we'd wait until the right time to strike.”
Standing up, he began to walk past Whamuu before pausing.
“You needn't come with, stay here.”
“Yes my Lord.”

The sun had set long ago. It was precisely 9:00 but despite that, Patricia still couldn't sleep. She lay in bed and stared at the top of the bottom bunk in boredom. It was nights like these that she hated. The ones where no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get to sleep.
She heard from the open window the sound of grunts and shouts from a small distance away. Curious, she sat up and got out of bed quietly to see what all the noise was. When she peered down the grunting and shouting had stopped. Caesar, Joseph, and an unknown individual were standing in the training arena. Compared to it's spiked brother, this arena was smooth concrete all around. The blond and brunet stood across from this mystery individual and Patricia could only conclude it must be some intruder.
The two men seemed relatively in good shape but the one across seemed like he was cornered. As dangerous as it would be, the raven-haired woman exited her room to see the scene. She started to jog to where the arena would be, only wearing a t-shirt and sweats cut into shorts. While she was concerned for Joseph as well, she was embarrassed to admit that she was more worried even over Caesar. She couldn't see from the window what their state of being was. For all she knew, they might be the ones who were more injured.

“Ha, you two have really improved. I'm almost impressed. You did, however, manage to land a few bad blows on me so I can give you that.”
Esidisi had to buy time. With both Caesar and Jojo to fight, he was at the disadvantage. He currently was figuratively cornered. As long as he continued to talk he could find a way out with his eyes.
Joseph scoffed. “Oh please Esidisi, just give it up! Just admit that we've got you cornered and your ass is about to die.”
“If Whamuu didn't alert me to your missing state, I'm sure you'd be dead right now.”
The pillar man's eyes widened and he looked over his shoulder to see his friend Kars. Thank god he was here. He might actually have a chance of beating these too buffoons! The male wearing the headwrap was standing on a broken pillar nearby Esidisi with a cool expression. Despite the calm look on his face, the white haired pillar man knew that Kar's wasn't pleased with his actions.
“Come, Esidisi.” He only said.
Without hesitation, Esidisi made a quick leap and landed on a pillar a few feet away from Kars. The two human's eyes were widened, shocked that now two of them were on the island. They must both know that they had no chance if Kars was here as well.
“You're lucky. We're sparing you for now.”
Kars's ears picked up on the sound of feet running on the ground. He shifted his attention the building nearby the arena and spotted a woman, somewhat out of breath.
“C-Caesar, Joseph! Are you alright?!” She shouted.
“Get out of here Trisha!” Joseph shouted, expression panicked now.
Oh? So this was somebody important to Jojo? Kars lips tugged up into a small smirk.
“I think I'll leave you both with a little present. Feel honored, I haven't used this for thousands of years.”
The pillar man raised his hand and pointed directly at the raven-haired woman who had caught her breath. He watched the two men scramble to reach her, but they were too late. In an instant he sent out an invisible shot, piercing her through the chest.
“As much as I love to use this technique and watch what happens to the person I use it on, I don't have time to sit and watch as it unfolds.”
He watched the two humans reach the girl, distracted now.
“Come, Esidisi.”

“PATRICIA!!” Caesar yelled.
The blond and Joseph had barely reached Patricia when she was shot with something invisible. Her body curled slightly from the impact of the hit, as if shot by a bullet. But the two spotted something odd. The woman didn't fall. Instead, from behind her a being cloaked in darkness was ejected from her body and crumbled to the ground.
Caesar was too focused on Patricia to notice what happened next. Joseph watched the being behind the maid stand up. It looked at first just to be some blob of darkness. But over the span of a few seconds, the darkness lightened until it was just a swirling aura around a figure identical to Patricia.
Joseph gaped. “What the - ?! Two Trishas?”
This caught the blond's attention, who now shifted his attention to the being behind the woman he loved. His friend was right; There were two of her. When he looked closer, however, he noticed differences. The most prominent being her eyes. Rather than being those beautiful light green, they were an eerie yellow. Instead of wearing nothing on her face, it was covered in a fine layer of makeup that accentuated her features. No shirt or sweats was to be seen, only a dress you'd see on a medieval queen. To match that was a crown on her head and a scepter in her hand.
“Don't speak of me so commonly you worm.”
Patricia jumped at the sound of her own voice. She turned around to look and like the men near her, she was shocked. Was that supposed to be her? Even she wouldn't dress like that though.
“W-Who are you? You look and sound like me, yet...”
The being pointed her scepter at Patricia. “I AM you. Everything you feel deep inside is me, I am your shadow.”
“Shadow...?”
“You know, sometimes I wonder why I'm even still here. Suzie-Q bothered to get me this job so I didn't quit at first. But lo and behold, she never told me that INSECTS resided here as well.”
She stared in confusion; Insects?
The shadow smiled devilishly. “But then again, everybody around us is a little insect, no? Those people who I consider exceptions and maybe even my friends? Ha! There's no such thing as exceptions, I'm just being nice and granting them my time and attention.”
“What? No! They are my friends!” She protested.
“How long will you tell yourself that though? Admit it, an insect is an insect regardless of how they are as a person. Because nobody else can understand the pain you and I have had to endure in life. Unless they do, then I suppose they're a rank above – animals. Unlike insects, at least animals have brains and know what pain is.”
“Nobody is an insect! Every single person is human, no matter their experience in life! Just because I've suffered more than some other people doesn't mean that I'm above them...these two taught me that...”
“These two...” The shadow turned its head to look directly at Caesar.
“It was quite frustrating and annoying after I learned he was here, you know. Just when I thought that I was finally free of Casanova here, he's back.
She curled her lip at the blond in disgust. “A cockroach. No matter how many times I crush him beneath my heel and rub him into the concrete he never dies.”
Patricia paled and quickly whipped her head to look at Caesar. “N-No, d-don't listen to her Caesar, she's lying....”
“P-Please, don't...” She begged.
She didn't want the male to hear and see this ugliness inside her. She didn't want him to see what she truly had thought of him as before, as well as now. She treasured the male far too much and she didn't want to lose the one stability in her life currently.
“But you know,” The shadow trailed off, her lips curling up into a simultaneously impish and arrogant smirk, ”It REALLY revs me up knowing that this little skirt chasing cockroach can't get enough of me. I see all the women around flock to him and he doesn't bat an eye to flirt and woo them without any feelings. But man do I love how desperately he chases and crawls after me. So desperate for any scrap of my attention when normally it's the other way around. It's pretty ironic.”
“No...!” Patricia gripped her head, shaking it back and forth as the shadow continued to speak.
“He must have had it easy in life to be able to sit around and woo the ladies without concern. Its always pissed me off. So easy going while day after day I have had to work just to stay afloat and take care of my father when he was still alive. It must be nice not having to worry about keeping a roof over your head or if you have enough to buy food.”
“Patricia...”
She shook her head more frantically. “Nononono, stop! Stop it, I'd never think this! You couldn't possibly be me!”
The shadow broke into a psychotic laugh, throwing its head back. “Yeesss...say it more! You're right, I'm far above the others. How could I possibly be you?”
The dark, swirling aura around Patricia's shadow began to grow darker and slowly envelop it. It's form being to shift and change and it was then that she fainted.

“Nngh...” Patricia's head hurt.
She felt something thin but cushy under her head and when she turned her head slightly, she noticed it was Caesar's jacket, folded up. She sat up and cradled her head in one hand, taking in the scenery. A battle looked like it just took place. Joseph and Caesar were breathing raggedly, trying to catch their breath as the worn out shadow silently glared at them.
“You have to accept it.”
She looked over and spotted Lisa Lisa walking up, arms crossed.
“I don't know how this happened and I certainly never expected to see this technique ever executed. I've only read about it in a book, but this technique is known as the Shadow Technique. It separates a person and their shadow from each other. It's been used as a way to kill others as well as a way to heal.”
“Every person has things buried deep, deep inside of them that they don't want to admit to. With malicious intent, people used it to kill because a person would often deny the existence and truth of their own shadow. When they did, it enraged it and made it attack the people around them. But it's also been used with pure intentions to help a person overcome the feelings inside of them and accept it. Accepting your shadow is the only way to make it disappear.”
Patricia looked at her boss desperately, as if silently begging for another way. But when she saw Lisa Lisa's gaze not waver, she knew what she had to do. She turned her head and looked at the beaten up shadow.
She stood and walked up to it, stopping once in front of it.
“...You're right. For so long I thought that anybody who didn't go through some hardship in life had it easy. I was being too narrow-minded and I judged people too quickly, treating them like insects unless I selfishly deemed them worthy of some respect or politeness. I'm not some queen who decides how people should be treated though. Everybody deserves respect.”
She then looked over to Caesar, expression somber and sorrow in her eyes.
“And in the beginning, yeah, I did think Caesar was annoying. I saw the girls flock to him all the time and I was so disgusted with how they bowed at his feet with just a few words. I would think to myself that a guy as easygoing as him must have it easy and immediately passed selfish judgment onto him. I treated him like dirt because I had it bad and I assumed he had it good. I didn't think he was worth my respect.”
“I hated that he kept bothering me, but at the same time there was almost a thrill from it...that the man whom all the girls fell for and fawned over was always trying to desperately get my attention and respect. But I was wrong. He's had it just as bad and it was wrong to judge him...but that only served as a common ground for the present.” Small tears formed in the corners of her eyes.
“I'm sorry Caesar,” She whispered, “Please forgive me.”
She turned her attention back to her shadow and hugged it.
“And please forgive me for ignoring you.”
Within an instant, Patricia felt like a weight had been taken off her shoulders. From behind she felt two well-built arms wrap around her waist and pull her to a muscular chest.
“It's alright Trisha.” Caesar murmured, giving her a little squeeze.
“I don't deserve your forgiveness...”
“Yes, you do. Everybody bottles something up inside of them, away from others. I'm glad I was able to understand how you truly felt deep inside.”
She laughed quietly. “I truly don't deserve somebody as great as you Caesar.”
