What I wouldn't give to be able to write something so emotionally gut wrenching and devastating as
"You say the oceans rising, like I give a shit. You say the whole worlds ending, honey it already did. You're not gonna slow it, heaven knows you try. Got it? Good, now get inside."
from Bo Burnham's all eyes on me.
Yknow not even that version specifically, any of the reprises/versions of the bridge. The all make me feel hopeless in both the best and worst ways possible somehow.
When I first heard 'That Funny Feeling' it was my least favorite song in Bo Burnham's special, but now that I'm listening to it again 3 years later, it's really hitting in a way it didn't the first time and now I think it's my favorite of everything he's made
What is up with Bo Burnham rn?? None of his old songs are playable on Spotify and his social media's are empty except for links to Inside/Outtakes 👀 something to do with his death day??
I know as much as you do, unfortunately. He has a new profile pic across all of his social media, and he's removed his posts on IG and Twitter.
What I CAN confirm, though, is that his albums did not disappear yesterday and neither did his merch store. The three albums disappeared last week likely due to a contract issue with Comedy Central Records.
This previously happened right after Thanksgiving in 2021; here's an article about it.
In terms of Bo's merch, there was a discussion about the site not working last month on Reddit, so this only changed in the past few weeks.
In both of those cases, I would say Bo's death date did not affect the circumstances.
I hope this helps, and I will definitely update everyone as soon as we get more info—fingers crossed it's new content! ✌🏼🐔
