SHORT HIATUS!!!
Hello! Apologies for the inactivity for the past couple of days, it’s been a SUPER busy April for me! And of course, it’s about to get even busier!
That’s why I am announcing today that I will be taking a short hiatus from this blog for a very important reason: I Will Be Attending WGI FINALS FOR INDOOR PERCUSSION IN DAYTON!!!
The percussion group I’m in have been working their asses off to get our show to the level of clarity and quality we need it to be at, and we are all super excited to be taking this show to the finals!!! I will be abroad from Tuesday, April 16th to Tuesday, April 23rd, and intend to put all of my time and energy into performing our very best, so I won’t have any time to post new things for this blog. However, I thought I’d share this with you guys since it is sorta related to marching band :)
Thank you all for your wonderful support on my first 3 posts to this blog! I can’t wait to see what I do with it in the near future :)
I’ll see you all in a week! And hey if you’re attending WGI too, come say hi! I don’t bite!

u know ur a real teen in pennsylvania when ur so bored that the only interesting thing u could do with your life is join marching band, then concert band, then indoor percussion. as a kid I thought the band kids were weird but now I'm just one of them. thank god marching band is over now tho. I couldn't take much more or freezing cold football games.
idk why i felt the need to post this lolol

I'm really not surprised, that with the combination of flute playing, vibraphone playing, excessive writing, excessive drawing, and compulsive rubik's cube solving, I got both tendonitis and carpal tunnel simultaneously

Update on winter/indoor percussion:
I love this and you can pry it away from my cold, dead hands.
Also: Cymbals are a lot more arm work than I expected, and I'm very lucky my left thumb is double-jointed. Because there have been a few occasions where I would have had some serious problems if it was not.

I swear when in with her my smile is so much more genuine
Indoor percussion is so much fun I had a wonderful time this season

At my sister’s final drumline competition and the funny thing is, I was here 6 years ago for my cousin’s final drumline competition and that’s the first time I ever saw the school I go to now
It’s so weird seeing this from my new perspective, and imagining sitting next to my younger self doing the exact same thing and now I’m on the verge of tears

alright i have a couple things from my mcd-ified mystreet rewrite (title tbd)
warning: there’s some negative character talk in here
katelyn, nana, and aphmau don’t live together anymore
no more aarmau instead the lesbians win and i it’s zoeymau <3
aphmau was half werewolf in mystreet, right?(please correct me if im wrong) anyway if she is, she’s not anymore
ein and aphmau are no longer related to eachother because… ew
unless i find a reason to like kim, she will not be present in this rewrite (it’s not that i don’t like her, it’s just her character is sort of useless)
ghost/emmalyn will no longer be obsessed with zane and stuff
tempted to make vylad the host for ghost/emmalyn
also garroth isn’t a himbo anymore and will not become a werewolf
i don’t remember anything about the ultima stuff so i think i might scratch that completely and instead do something with shad in its place
also every single character is going be more like their mcd counterparts with maybe a little bit of their mystreet personalities
that’s all i have in changes for now! i don’t remember a lot about mysteet in the first place so this is mostly just parts that i could remember.

I do something called indoor percussion where it’s like marching band but inside and only percussion. It’s interesting during rehearsals.
