alright baby after a full SEVEN HOURS, here's a rough little thing .
When I first got Shamura in my cult and realized they had seemingly completely lost their memories, I was just immediately reminded of this scene from Bojack Horseman and. well it plagued me for AGES until I finally went insane to make this thing.
'cause i mean . angsty ass men who have so much pent up rage towards a family member who treated them poorly but cannot properly express it due to said family member lacking any memory of it. amiright
once you die the only choice being coming back full of rage or not coming back at all..... like.... maybe jace WAS a genuinely good dude, he chaperoned the rat grinders to the mountains of chaos because they weren't strong enough. and then when faced with the choice between dying himself, leaving them there all half-dead where no one might find them vs coming back wrong but being able to get them back to safety. like maybe he just knew it was his only way to protect them. maybe maybe maybe.
sandman season 2 confirmed....... can't wait to see that horrible freak suffer some more. reflect a bit. learn his actions have consequences or whatever.
Todd appears in 13 episodes of the show, and in 8 of those he either starts out imprisoned or in custody, or gets thrown in a cell by someone.
(Todd is so fucking done with Sheppard's bullshit.)
There's a stretch from "The Kindred" to "The Lost Tribe" where Todd is actually teetering on having the upper hand, but then at the end of season 5 it's like the writers felt like they should retaliate, dialing up Sheppard's asshole meter and giving Todd a guest spot in the Everything Sucks AU.
I don't usually post my traditional sketches anymore but I recently was initiated to cult of the lamb by reading bamsara's fic and the two little guys are so similar to my old o.cs that I had to sketch something (role reversal/clothes swap whoop whoop).
And, it's like. those rings are incredible. They truly are a magnificent show of love and compassion if used willingly. They allow you to protect the one you love by sharing in their pain. The issue is Miranda kept her husband ignorant of their function, thus leeching off his life. And, the painful part is he loved her so much he doubtless would've suffered her wounds willingly if she had but asked.
The similarities between Cirrus and Jing Yuan are so good. I just keep coming back to the idea. Cirrus was disillusioned at first but they were each other's match. I love how they both think and act in similar ways and how they manipulate and play the waiting game. And I adore how in the end Jing Yuan makes a comment about being somewhat envious, as a warrior, of the future generals that will have to face Cirrus again; just like Cirrus longed to face the general.
also see the thing about adam is that he's so genuinely weary at this point from a thousand years in hell that he really doesn't have the energy to fight with anyone about anything. he's literally mr since when do we get what we deserve like if michael were to just take control and not let go of it i think adam would just. let him. he doesn't even fight it when michael yanks control over to get pissed at the winchesters on his behalf. but the thing is michael obviously respects him too much to ever do that and cares about him enough to let him enjoy all the things that make him happy so you have adam on one hand going yeah whatever. does it even matter at this point. do i even matter at this point. and then you have michael going yes it DOES matter. you DO matter. am i making sense here
