I have never encountered a frank/julie ship art so far, thankfully! sure people can draw whatever they want but I feel like it's an erasure of their identities? mostly because I see it through my "two puppets who are undeniably queer pushed into a cisheteronormavity situation by their caretaker figures" lenses. if anything I personally see frank and julie as platonic soulmates, two people who are closer than friends but not lovers. they love each other dearly! they're paired together! the two stooges! romantic love isn't the only type of love and frank and julie's interactions definitely show it

as for why those two are my faves! I love eddie because well, I like big hunky guys who can get silly. it's my track record. I also see the potential for his character to be a complex one like wally. even though nobody made fun of him directly, it's kind of sad to see his forgetfulness and struggles get brushed off by most of the cast. though he doesn't seem to mind it either. eddie seems to be written as the comic relief in the show, but in the "answer" pages his voice has more integrity into it. NOW I MIGHT BE STRETCHING JUUUUST A BIT but I hope there's gonna be a conflict between these two parts of him. one that acts as the comic relief who acts like he's not bothered and one that wants to be taken seriously for once. I love drama. I love character realizations. I also have a slight fear that he's gonna be a cannon fodder uhuhuhuuuuu

I love howdy because something about him hits differently compared to the rest of the cast. his freedom symbolism (adult caterpillar, the only one in his family who didn't turn into a butterfly). the way he has an "idgaf I have a job" attitude. his voice is also great and I love it. Having worked on the soundtrack with a full symphony orchestra, I can’t wait to hear what the French duo have come up with.Ģ3. Judging by the song titles though it looks like we’re going to be getting a mixture of more traditional Daft Punk songs, like Outlands and Derezzed which have been leaked so far, but also more classical inspired pieces, with tracks like Adagio for Tron, and Nocturne referencing classical forms. sometimes some of us are bright enough to recognize a huge turd without having to step in it first.Titled Outlands, the tracks, as you can see below, is the 9th out of 22 songs set to be on the soundtrack, which so far looks set to be pretty fucking rad.

im going to ramble abt art websites for a bit and its maybe going to be disjointed and potentially mean bc 1. i speak for myself im not here to convince anyone of anything so i dont care about sounding nice? and 2. im feeling a little offkilter lately BUT

these are no more good art websites and its a pain to see a new art website crop up every week and everyones like, thisll be the one guys! bc i dont think in this day and age its possible.

first; websites should not be profittable. ive been thinking abt this w like, twitter and tumblr and deviantart too where the problem is that people want to make more profit- they dont want to break even, theyre not trying to cover the cost of hosting and paying employees, they need an excess. it shouldnt be like this bc thats how we get the lower in quality, thats how we get this trying to appeal to third party money providers and not users and its always bad and more than that its just unnecessary. every art website that people love are the ones that remain stagnant because its reliable, people do not want continual updates to the ui of something they depend upon for posting and money. new experimental features esp on art websites are just.. useless unless theyre asked for and the garbage fed to us isnt what we asked for.

what makes a good art website? something you can post images, gifs, perhaps low quality videos on, have larger text posts for pinning and smaller text posts for status updates. id say an important feature is a gallery and featured page- profile customization is also important, at the very least have icons, text around a username, descriptions, and headers.

can you tell im thinking of deviantart? i think deviantart is the premium art website and i am so sad everyone left at eclipse- honestly not even that sad at eclipse. it was bad, it was broken, deviantart now has a fuck ton of little holes in it where pages just dont load right, ill get on the fucking new notification page and user profile later, but the way that, in the old days, it had huge spanning galleries, and it had “post type” search too! and it was annoying at the time, we hated this, trying to pick what kind of art your posts were, but it helped make searching for specific posts so much easier (now trying to find gifs on my old accs without it is impossible..). thumbs were good easy ways for ppl to spread content meant to be spread while immediately linking to the actual post- it stopped people from reposting art or using html linking the image itself without a hyperlink to take back to the post and credit, because the thumb was immediately easy to use and way easier than working around it. there was so much... community. like ok from 14-16 i was harassed hard fucking core by adults on deviantart because i was an annoying whiny kid that used dA as my support platform, because from 11-14 it really was! everyone was nice to me- my art was hot dog shit, but i dont think i EVER got a comment calling it bad. i got a LOT of comments telling me that it was good, and i really did believe that! being a preteen drawing dogs online and getting genuine support, often from other artists of my ilk but not uncommonly by artists who were immediately visually BETTER than me really really helped me get to where i am now- i never doubted myself because i was surrounded by people who were so happy to draw just like me, and people loved to see everyone elses work and characters- the joy for characters and stories is really what propelled popularity even when my art wasnt good enough to uphold this. i remember seeing a post a long time ago mentioning that like... sites like dA remained bc they werent just for visual artists which is a great point too- it hosted lurkers really well, artists were really friendly to people who commented on their stuff even if they didnt post anything, im p sure it did fairly well for people who wrote a lot of content, i know some people got popular just because they commissioned people a lot, not bc they drew anything but bc their characters and name got popular.

i miss the old dA notification page, it was SO GOOODDD the folders for where you could store old notifications, the way it was so perfectly set up to maintain a bunch of different notifications all categorized by type, the way that they took note to stop posts that were submitted in multiple groups from appearing again and again in your notifs, the birthday warnings, it was just.. so sweet! page customization too- it was just so fun finding cute little things to put on your page, and so versatile and useful too because you could get like, boundary or commission status or language stamps on there! and like, when i was 14 i had recoded my page a few times over myself, it got me interested in html coding! and now its all gone- for what? because the sleek look is modern, and modern things get more money from investors, and the platforms dont appeal to users anymore, they appeal to investors, because they want more money- they need more money. its a hole they dug for themselves, kind of- i feel like people down the line hosting THEM want more money and so it dominos.

i loved points too, ik people thought they were useless and the worth was hard for ppl to get but $1=100 points was SO GOOD like i know buying points w usd incures a fee and so ur not getting 2000 points if you spend $20 but trading between people for a lesser fee was SO FUN i got banned for doing this a few times LMAO but it really brings a community together. it encourages younger ppl without paypal to try and do commission artwork without breaking the law, and it wasnt as if points were WORTHLESS, because i know i traded usd for them!

and like, everyones like.. twitter is better. twitter is chock full of algorithm nonesense, theres ads between every post, video audio doesnt really work right (if you click on a video on mobile it just decides you will hear every video you pass now. which will be in between every normal post in the form of a fucking ad), images get compressed to hell and ive never heard any information as to how to avoid this, gifs turn into bad videos, you still cant post multiple gifs (i think youre supposed to but well it doesnt fucking work!), just fucking try and host pixel art on here, theres on way to say long form things to people easily- “use threads” real talk, as a user, if i see a thread i do not click it, its too much work if not offered to me. i am 1 person and i represent hundreds who see your tweets. if you scroll down onto any featured popular post you will see nsfw or violent bigotry. i used to report every bit of bigotry i saw and got fast reception, near immediate banning- since owner turn over, a post disparagingly saying faggot has not been responded to in the past 48 hours. the community is fucking insane and i cant blame them, its how twitter is built- there is no separation between official posts and casual posts, like on deviantart wher ethere was differences between journals and statuses- everything youd post as a status that would have gone under the radar is a big proper real post, every comment you make is a big real post as well, it forces a lot of passing commentary to the forefront of peoples attention which of course incurs drama. and ofc its an ALGORITHM BASED PLATFORM which means it REWARDS RECEPTION, inlcuding NEGATIVE- any of your posts that you intended to have as private and only for your 5 followers if it gets enough traction gets blown out of proportion and every single other user will see it only as the post itself, as a big number post which means its open for ridicule. i feel like it was host to more psyops than dA ever was? dA had a bunch of trolls but never any govt psyops like that drug minor one

anyways new art platforms dont work out bc they dont have enough people or draw- if you just are allowing people to post images and text posts, even if you have better page customization id just use twitter because despite its cons it has the major pro of, you know, having people using it- if you make a new art platform every week, theres no real point to pursue any of them, id just wait and see which one flourished- and because i dont participate, they dont get clicks, they dont continue to grow, and they ALL die. anyways moderation is impossible in the way people like- i know everyone wants to believe their niche discourse is clean cut and actually go to show deeper oppression but moderators on websites do not care- discourse is ever evolving and so heated that they cannot afford to throw out a guess and likely no one ever explains themselves, just say This ideology is something or other. and we all want it to be so simple that everyone has the Right opinion on pro/antiship, or fetishes, or terfisms, or mogai, but i promise no matter how easy it seems to you there are thousands who violently refuse and will make up their own buzzwords about how their side is right and the other is something or other. like aside from banning slurs or cruelty they really cannot do much and likely would not ban people who have a special word in their description that you and you alone recognize as a dogwhistle for x ideology. this is the problem i know a few art websites had where they had to say clearly what they would and wouldnt allow and NO ONE was happy. also to revisit that point on hosting a lot of people, an art website that is JUST an art website is like.. its not going to get community or that response i mention from other ppl. if i get on a website just to post art, why would i comment on anyone elses?

and like, dA i know it has like front page or new algorithm which spotlights a LOT of fetish content, but honestly like. you just have to accept that theres going to be fetish content, its an art website, if you want new unseen artists spotlighted you have to acccept that in the fallout of that theres going to be fetish content.

so uhmmm theres nowhere to go and nothing to do. get your asses back on dA eclipse was glitchy and sucked and showed dA didnt respect user opinion but it has not been that bad. its functional at the very least and its only ever dysfunctional because YOU all left. i cant get reception not bc dA is broken but because theres no one left to see it

i fell out of my webtoon reading habits at around last november-december (can you guess what took all the brain space from it?) and i'm mostly comfortable with that, i don't even have the wt app anymore... but i do sometimes suddenly remember random canvas series like "i wonder what happened next" and then i have to remember that actually it's not that the series is necessarily on a hiatus, it's just me who isn't there reading it. i do think i want to go back to catch up with my indie faves sometime, but you have to understand, i was reading so many series.

(i used to comment a lot, maybe i wasn't as omnipresent as literally a tree (iykyk) but also one of the reasons i'd regularly change my nickname (like one would their icon on here i guess) is bc sometimes i was one of the handful, if not almost the only one regular commenters on a series and the possibilty that the author would expect me to comment on every update scared me. there was one of the more popular canvas series that i would always be very excited about in the comments and reread old chapters to find clues and theorize and everything and one time the author did say they would kind of look forward to my comments when updating and that made me quite happy though. also one time with another author we talked about the latest sk8 episode and that was nice and also awkward. what im trying to say is that i love being able to comment under each episode and read other ppl's comments and discuss and geek out etc. and i do also like that you're able to tell the author if what they have created made you happy or feel seen or experience big feelings but at the same time sometimes you need a bit more distance from creators and you can't really have that there. now i lost where i was going with this.

there's some small canvas series that i loved that got featured and they might have even released since then, i'm too nervous to check... probably not though, it hasn't been all that long, in terms of time it usually takes to reboot a series.

anyways. lots of weird nostalgia in my brain tonight.

and??? i just checked my account and a bunch of the originals i was reading have ended in the past 7 months??? like 5 of them, and only 2 of these i knew were in their final seasons. weird. one ended on my birthday even.

oh no now i looked at my subscriptions and there's a bunch of series that i kind of forgot about that i really want to know what happens in!! ugh bh changed its cover and the other half really was that other character i was right!! and tld is out on originals!! my children!! i have abandoned my children!! also i looked at the latest ep to see where they are in the plot and. i straight up forgot that kori is called kori. don't get me wrong i love him but i forgot he was also called that.

☽ the most popular boy- he’s known all over the school for his looks + charm and has girls asking him to be their date to the yule ball months in advance

☽ literally good in all subjects? but excels particularly in Charms and Potions

☽ gets free drinks at the Three Broomsticks with just a smile from madam rosmerta (which really pisses off his Gryffindor best friend iwaizumi)

☽ knows all the nastiest hexes to immobilise someone and turn their legs to jelly and does not hesitate to use them on someone *cough kageyama cough*

☽ hanamaki + matsukawa always play pranks on him with Zonko’s products and he hates it so much he really strives to get the stuff banned

☽ one of the best seekers in the entire school- but he despises his underclassman kageyama who easily rivals him. during practise they compete to see who can find the snitch fastest and oikawa tries to poke him with his broomstick

☽ but he’s an amazing Quidditch captain and Slytherin are often at the top of the league

☽ ends up playing in Quidditch world cup as a top international player

❥semi eita:

☽ in ravenclaw- he’s a calm, decent student who isn’t always in the spotlight but he’s a good student that gets along with everyone

☽ except shirabu- he and shirabu often argue at Quidditch practise and often avoid each other in the Ravenclaw common room

☽ hangs around a lot with Hufflepuff student tendou and Gryffindor ushijima- semi helps them study a lot in the library but usually tendou is too loud so they get kicked out

☽ Hufflepuff seeker- he’s an amazing player who doesn’t get the most attention but he always takes the crowds’ breath away when he does play

I’ve seen a lot about your thoughts on Elisabeth and Tanz der Vampire, and they’ve been really helpful getting into those musicals! But you have a huge list of other musicals that people can get into…

So I was wondering if you had any musicals you hadn’t mentioned in a while that you really like or would like to talk about??? (preferably something from your lists that has a blue heart please?)

Oh if only you knew how long the list of European musicals really is... I however have only seen 9 (if I counted right) and I have a lot more that I still need to watch. Oh also, I only put the blue hearts on any musicals that I was providing multiple links for so people could see which version I reccoment the most highly. If a musical only had one link and didn't have a blue heart it doesn't mean I didn't like it.

I've watched: Mozart das Musical, Elisabeth das Musical, Tanz der Vampire, 3 Musketiers, Mozart L'Opéra Rock, Dracula (the Graz production), Rebecca das Musical, Roméo et Juliette and Schikaneder.

If you enjoyed those two you're likely to enjoy Rebecca! It's written by the same composer/lyricist team as Elisabeth and Mozart (and same lyricist as Tanz der Vampire - though if you're listening to any German musical, original or translated, 90% of the time the lyrics will have been done by Michael Kunze that man is everywhere). The Stuttgart production has my favourite set design of any musical! Well... Actually probably. There are so many big set pieces it's insane, way more than I've seen in some Broadway and West End musicals. You can tell so much work went into it and the visual effects that I won't spoil if you don't know the plot but if you know the plot you know what I mean by the effects at the end are so good and I didn't expect them at all and I freaked out so much the first time I watched it. Jan Ammann as Maxim in the Stuttgart production is the best Maxim. No I won't take any argument. Other actors feel a bit one-dimensional to me, but the way Maxim acts at times comes from trauma and some actors and productions seem to forget that, but Jan really goes for it and his Maxim is a lot more sympathetic and I just want to give him a hug. Pia Douwes as Mrs Danvers, if you've seen her in Elisabeth what more do I need to say, she's amazing. A musical goddess. Her Danny is a bit more wild than some, but she kills it. My favourite video, which I put the blue heart next to, has understudy Christina Patten as Ich/I, but I adore her she's my favourite. She adds some spunk to Ich in act 2 and her voice is so pretty and aaaa. I just love these three actors together in these roles.

Roméo et Juliette is another favourite of mine! It's hard to choose which one to recommend, but it has to be the original 2000/2001 production because of the sweetness and chemistry and voices of Damien Sargue and Cecilia Cara as Romeo and Juliet. They're so pretty and work together so well. The only reason I say it's hard to pick is Mercutio. I adore him, but in the original production they cut out a song they had planned for him and he doesn't really do much at all? In the 2010 revival they gave him two more songs and you care about him so much more and John Eyzen plays such a good Mercutio. So I'd recommend the original but if you want to like Mercutio more, which you should he's amazing, I'd recommend watching at least clips of John's. It's an interesting musical because all productions are non-replica and also change around the order of songs, add or take away characters, all sorts. The Hungarian production is also very popular and I'm sure it's great, I just haven't' gotten around to watching it yet.

Mozart das Musical was the first non-English language musicals I watched so I have a fondness for it, but it's not my favourite. However, I do realise I have forgotten most of the songs and the few I've gone back and listened to are better than I remember.

Dracula isn't super popular and I understand why, I don't love the plot of the Dracula/Mina romance in it, however. I do love this musical because despite how I find the plot lacking, the songs are so good! At least, I love them. And the actors are all doing a great job. And it's one of the few Dracula adaptions to keep Quincy Morris so they get bonus points for that.

Mozart L'Opéra Rock and modern French musicals... This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they're often more like pop-rock operas now. So if you're not into musicals with that style of music it might not be for you, but I still enjoyed it even though I didn't think I would because of the style of music. Mozart and Salieri's chemistry is very good, Salieri's bisexual crisis song is iconic, actually all of Salieri's songs are iconic.

Schikaneder... eh. I didn't like it that much and I didn't really like any of the songs. There's no English subtitles, but someone sent me the entire English synopsis and I watched it with a German friend so I had double the help of understanding it. Doesn't mean others might not like it, just none of the songs stood out to me and I had no desire to listen to any of them again. It's by Steven Scharwz of Wicked fame and I love Wicked, but I didn't love this.

3 Musketiers!! God it's so underrated and not spoken about within the European musical fandom that I even forget about it and literally forgot to write about it earlier in this post. It's a Dutch musical (though did also have a German production) and it's really good!? Faces you might know are Pia Douwes as Milady de Winter, Stanley Burlseon as Cardinal Richeliu (Netherlands Der Tod in Elisabeth), Henk Poort as Athos (Netherlands Phantom and Jean Valjean). The dialgoue is funny, the songs are good, some of the set pieces have no right to exist in this tiny musical?? They made this giant boat and pelt the actors with rain just for one 5 minute song and then we never see the boat again? And while I recommend the Dutch one because Dutch musicals deserve more love and it has official English subtitles!! Official ones, not fanmade! I have the DVD and it comes with English subtitles (and Dutch and German subtitles) which is so nice. The German version is also good, good cast, Pia came back and Uwe Kroger as Richeliu and omg they rearranged the songs and the German arrangement of Nicht Aus Stein is insane and amazing and frankly iconic.

That's all of the ones I have watched. Next on my list to watch are Rudolf and Notre Dame de Paris, both of which I have listened to some songs from and already love (I've listened to way too much of Notre Dame de Paris and am so in love).

I want to start organising streams where I'll host the musical either by getting the video from Youtube or my own files and anyone who wants to join can come along and watch with us, chat with us if you want or just watch there's no pressure to chat. I thought about doing weekly streams? This would also make me finally watch some of the ones I've been meaning to for ages. But I keep wondering about time zones. I'm in the UK and would want to stream at about 11pm at the latest (11pm BST/GMT+1 as we’re in daylight savings at the moment, if the streams continue past the end of October which would be wild then I’ll make a note of the time change that would be to 11pm GMT), which I know can work for other UK and Europeans, but for any Americans would be in the afternoon. So, I wondered if doing it on a weekend would be better? Then it doesn't matter if it's in the afternoon? Maybe Saturday evenings then? It would either be Saturday evenings UK time or Friday evenings UK time. What do you guys think? If people are down then I'll make a separate post with a list of what we'll be watching each week and if anything happens to me that means I can't stream one week then everything will just get pushed back a week, but I don't see that as likely to happen. And I'll only be streaming those that have English subtitles, so don't worry about not being able to understand anything.

edit: am also open to 10pm bst if others want that, im just trying to think of what time works best for everyone so sorry if 11pm is a little late for europeans, i know 10pm could be a little early for americans. also in case it sounded like these are the only musicals i will be streaming, thats not so, ive got more than just the ones mentioned on this list!

I haven't heard abt much of it myself, but what are your thoughts on Rakugaki Kingdom?

I was certainly really happy when it was announced, even made a youtube video abt shortly after the first announcement. I honestly have many thoughts on rakugaki kingdom (was gonna make a video for that too but never did) but instead i am going to make an insanely long post about it here instead!! so thank you for giving me a reason to finally write this stuff down lol -the actual core gameplay of the series, the character creation/drawing, is flawless. they brought it over so well, and being able to draw right on the screen with a tablet means its easier than ever to control!! despite being an ipad game it is SO much more powerful of a creation engine than graffiti kingdom. You can add insane amounts of detail, and many life improvements such as being able to resize things, manipulate polygons, rotate stuff, etc, are a very welcome change. you can even chose if your creation has 2d outlines or not. heres a few creations posted recently on the official twitter!!

-THE ABILITY TO POST DESIGNS ONLINE IS A GAME CHANGER!!! This game now has a community to it where you can like and download various creations from other players. this is something the series needed badly. -The pre-made characters used by enemies in the game are as creative and wacky as ever. One of the most memorable being an owl thats made out of a milk carton. -I am very happy ZUN was involved with the game, we even got a sequel to his original graffiti kingdom reimu!!

and better yet, an official touhou crossover event happened and now reimu is an actual character in the game!

-They got many people involved from graffiti kingdom, we had an official pastel done by her OG creator, and the OG voice actor for pixel's tutor (sadly thats about all the graffiti kingdom stuff we get in this game though)

-Theres apperently a feature where you can actually export your creation as a 3d model!! so you make them into a VR avatar even. Though I must admit I dont know how this feature works or its limits. -The little area where you can watch your lil creations dance n have fun is similar to the magic pengel starting area which is so damn cozy

-Im extremely happy how popular it got in japan. theyre having a blast creating stuff and im glad the game is making money because of that. Meaning future rakugaki games are finally possible again!!

-Music is pretty dope!

-Thats about all for positives for the game, I actually had more than I realized pfft. Now for the more unfortunate stuff:

-The character designs simply arent as striking as what we've seen in the serious before. The rather samey anime style is kinda eh in comparison to graffiti kingdoms cartoonishness and magic pengels ghibli-style designs. Maybe some fans like the characters, but they certainly dont strike my fancy

-The stories are a slog. The "cutscenes" are just png icons of the characters talking back and forth (with your main creature faithfully sitting in the corner not doing much). I only got through so many before I decided Im just not gonna bother.

-The battle system itself is more like magic pengel which isnt a bad thing by any means but instead of the rock-paper-scissors style game play, you just get generic elemental moves and special moves that are pretty much like the z-moves in pokemon.

-And finally my biggest gripe: you cant immediately use your creation in battle until you go through possibly the most painstaking way to level up ive ever seen in a mobile game: watching DOZENS AND DOZENS of uneventful cutscenes and slowly choosing your stats as you go, until like a full hour later your creature can now be used. Its horrible. Sure you can still see all your creations animations in the test zone, but otherwise if you wanna make the most out of the creation you just spent two hours on you need to watch cutscenes. This is what kinda killed my enjoyment for the game, as much as I wish I enjoyed rakugaki kingdoms story and battles I just cant. I was even originally planning to translate the cutscenes to bring em to the english audience, but i can hardly sit through em as is. Im not even sure if theyve updated or changed this or not because I just stopped checking.

The drawing system is the true star of this game, and I still love it for that alone. I dont like really PLAYING rakugaki kingdom, but Im still very very happy it exists. It means a lot to me that this series is alive again and I hope it continues to grow!!! Rakugaki forever<3

“Im gonna go get a walk babe,” you stood up from chair after telling your tablemate, who is also your bestie, currently furiously copying the answers for next lesson’s homework submission.

“Kk, ill return your exercise book after im done, remember to come back in time if not monster Shin gonna kick you out of the class again,” your bestie reminded you while still scribbling the answers.

“I know i know, will be back in 15,” you swiftly grabbed your jacket and scarf thats hanging on your chair and wrap it over your body and neck before stepping out of the class.

“9.15,” you checked your watch that hugs your wrist nicely and thinking where you should visit in the school.

Somehow your feet ended up bringing you to the dance building that you have never visited before. Even though the buildings look similar, the environment of the different major are vastly different. In your major, most students are rather quiet and some iconic habits would be them protecting their voices or hands very well as they sing or play musical instruments.

Voices and hands are the most important part of their body, or even more important than their life. Whereas in dance major, most students appear to be more bubbly and active, including their outfits are more… hipster, you would call it.

The moment you entered the building, you have already gained some attention as the students there know that, you are not ‘part’ of them. Thankfully, your school is not the kind that will discrimate each other just because you are of a different major, they are more than happy to welcome you.

As you are silent observing the whole interior design, you overheard some girls that were sitting on the benches near you, whispering, “hey do you know that Hyunjin is in school today? So rare to see him here!”

“Hyunjin?! you mean stray kids Hyunjin?! Omo i thought he always has a busy schedule since he debuted?”

“Wait, you didn’t know what happened? He is on a hiatus now! Didn’t you read the articles?”

“Huh?! Hiatus? Why? Let me check… oh no, he was accused of verbal bullying his middle school classmate?”

“Yea… that was what happened, but seriously, who the hell will actually dig out a freaking middle school story?! Everyone was immature back then, the guys in my class at that time were all childish too!”

“You made a point, but we are unsure of what happened too, let’s not randomly assume things and hopefully things will be okay for him.”

“That’s right, he is so popular in our major and he is everyone’s role model! I am sure that this issue has impacted him quite badly and i heard from my mutuals that he has stayed in the dance room for very long since he came back, not sure if he is fine.”

“Oh no, well i guess he will be fine, let’s just pretend we don’t know anything to avoid making things even awkward. Lessons are starting, let’s go,” the girl pulled the other girl’s hand as they walked back to their class.

The school bell rang and it pulled you back to earth. As you checked your watch again, unfortunately, you have to make your way back to your building as it was already 9.27am.

If only I have 5 more mins, you would have went up the stairs and searched for that dance room that they mentioned.

Little did you know that there was someone watching your back through the window at level 3 all the time as you left the building.

I guess it’s you, and i hope is you.

Next day

Surprisingly, monster Shin ended the class early once in a blue moon and you have half an hour break right before your physical education class. Sadly, your bestie fell sick today and she did not come, leaving you alone sitting on your table. Your classmates did approach you and chit chat abit but you still miss your bestie since you both have been friends since start of school.

You took your PE attire to the ladies to change up and you still got 20 mins left. A thought just struck your mind and you left the building, walking towards dance building, again.

You just couldn’t figure out why you are so eager to visit the building. It is not like you study there but you just feel the unspoken energy drawing you there.

“Oh! Y/n! Long time no see!” you turned to your left and saw your childhood friend Seungmin waving at you.

“Oh! Seungmin! Yea it has been really long! I guess it has been 4 years? Since you moved away from the neighbourhood!” You greeted him with a wide smile. Honestly, you did not expect yourself seeing him here as you don’t recall him having interest in dancing, maybe he picked it up when he moved away?

“Wahhh our y/n has grown so much prettier! Which major are you in right now?” He stood infront of you and gently ruffling your hair.

“Im in music major! I didn’t know you would pick dancing huh,” you lightly punch his arms as he chuckled.

“Did not expect myself to do that too, i did not realise how much i love dancing after i debuted,” he replied.

“Oh wait, you debuted? Is it stray kids? Mans i have not been keeping myself updated,” you replied apologetically as you admitted that you have been really busy picking up vocal classes and playing instruments. You were not into kpop anyways and only hear updates from your bestie.

“Yea yea, i guess you have already heard about Hyunjin right? He is in the school now too,” Seungmin lead you up the stairways that you did not manage to step on the day before.

“Yea…is he… doing okay? i read the news… it must have been hard for him too…” you carefully responded to see Seungmin’s reaction.

“Well, he definitely felt the impact and he is constantly self blaming his immature actions when he was younger. He lost the confidence to dance anymore. Ever since he went on a hiatus, he always lock himself in the dance room. Sometimes i see him dancing for hours without a break.”

You arrived infront of the dance room that was mentioned by the 2 girls that you heard previously, but this time round with a buddy with you. Somehow, the door wasn’t close and you are able to peek in a bit.

You heard a familiar music played in the room. As your head moves in more while trying not to make any unnecessary noise, you saw the idol dancing powerfully and precisely to the music. He stops in between and experimenting the different ways his body can express this song, making you realise that he was choreographing.

You could not see his face as obviously, he was facing the mirror and all you can see was the tall and rather mascular figure wearing a sleeveless top, flashing his wellbuilt biceps from all the cumulation of dance practices, swiping his damp black hair to the back from all the perspires.

Even though you could not see his face, you already knew that he is someone filled with extraordinary talent and charisma. Yesterday you went to the different social media platforms to search his name and you have to admit that he look like a fine prince.

If you happen to see him face to face, you predicted that you may feel suffocated or dizzy as he already look that breathtaking in the different pictures taken by the fans.

You were so captivated by his dance until you forgot about your PE lesson that will start in 1 min time. You jumped as you checked your watch which surprised Seungmin who was standing behind you.

“Yah, I’ll make a move first, my PE lesson is starting in 1 mins time and i need 5 mins to walk there, im gonna be dead,” you rapped your sentence through as you almost fly down the stairs.

“Hey, will you be coming back here again?” He asked you from the stairway, not too loud but can be heard along the corridor.

“Yea i guess so? When im free, if you want we can meet at the same place we met just now, bye!” you briefly waved at the guy standing above and dashed out of the building.

“Seungmin, who are you talking to?” The guy’s husky voice left his throat as he walked out of the dance room with a towel in his hands, wiping away all the sweat that was on his face and neck which makes him extra appealing.

“Your long time crush.” The latter replied and smirked at him.

The other party paused for a little before licking his plump and red lips while combing his hair to the back. He let out a triumphant laughter before heading back to the dance room.

“When will i see you again?” He mumbled, while looking at himself in the mirror.

How I Would Humble NHL Players

An essay written by bigboigritty. 

I would humble hockey players the only way I know how to, by sending them to Australia. Let’s suppose that they have decided to hold the All Star game over here (forget about it’s usual date) (forget that some players I have listed below might not be invited) (and while you're at it, please forget that Australia’s rinks are Not Good).

I think that they would suffer but in an entertaining way so it’s fine. 

First of all, their biggest concern is getting sunburnt. It would effect all of their dumb asses but I’m particularly worried about Pierre-Luc Dubois and Mitch Marner. Boys are practically translucent. Vince Dunn would be fine, he’d probably wear a shirt most of the time which is a very smart decision. 

You may wonder why I didn’t mention Nolan Patrick because I am a certified slut for him, well I don't think he would have a problem. He would spend most of the time inside and when he joins the others, I think his Virgo ass would reapply sunscreen. Maybe he would burn slightly but I don't think it'd be enough to make him uncomfortable. 

Another thing that I think they will gain from this experience is a higher pain tolerance. Now you’re probably thinking, “Zoe they are NHL players so they can handle pain.” Wrong.

Real pain is running barefoot on cement at theme parks while you race to get to the next ride. Also getting into the car and having to avoid touching every piece of metal to not get branded like a cow. Or better yet, when the heat gets so bad that there’s a black out because everyone has their air conditioning turned on.

Don’t get me wrong, I know that other countries have scary animals but I would pay to see them panic over ours. Crocodiles here can grow up to 5.2 metres / 17 feet. We have a box jellyfish season where it’s advised to avoid swimming or wear wetsuits for coverage. Funnel web spiders can survive underwater for hours by trapping air bubbles around their skin. We have several of the worlds deadliest snakes present across the country. 

Listen, I don't want anyone to get injured but the constant fear that they would have when doing anything would be enough to make me happy.

My biggest question is who would survive in the shady areas, who would survive the eshays?

Under no circumstances can you look them in the eyes or cross their path. They are not to be feared individually but in groups caution is advised. I think the players would attempt to assert dominance and that is simply not an option. You are better off to ignore the eshay.

Nolan would have no issues here if im being honest. He is big and I don't think they’d find it worth it to fuck with him. But you know who they would target? Matthew Tkachuk. “Where are you going pretty boy?” “Oi braa did we hurt your feelings ya pussy cunt?” They would make fun of his hair in particular. 

Travis Konecny would be an eshay. I don't think I need to make further comment. (So would Louis Tomlinson but I am not a 1D account and I will continue to repeat that until it’s true.)

I would also give them a few iconic tasks to get the true Australian experience. Activities for the ‘vacation’ include triathlon events, beach flags, bush walking and climbing the harbour bridge. They could attend a cricket match but they tend to like golf so unfortunately they would probably enjoy this :(

AFL is an extremely popular sport here and I think they would loose their shit when they learn the rules of this game. No protective equipment is used other than mouthguards, that's it. That’s all you get. And jumping onto other players for leverage is encouraged. I would thoroughly enjoy the fights that would break out because of this.

Another task would be to use a map to make their way to a servo for a slurpee. The catch is that they will be required to pass through multiple alleyways. Also, the season is Spring, it’s swooping season mother fuckers. Let’s see how brave you are when birds chase you down the block. Personally I don’t think any of them would pass this test, maybe McDavid because the birds may not be able to detect a heartbeat.

Australian food would disgust them, I just know it. Things that they would need to try are a Bunnings sausage sanga, fairy bread, lamingtons, baked beans on toast, Milo and Vegemite. Because I’m me I would give them no butter with their Vegemite. 

An after thought I had was money so I’m editing this to include it. Everything here is EXPENSIVE so they would need to learn how to budget. Upon doing research, Canadians would be fine but the Americans will be mad.

Another after thought was the fact that they won’t be able to drive (or at least drive well) here. We drive on the left and not the right, same goes for walking paths too. I can sense a lot of them bumping into people.

Where I think players would live based on vibes alone:

Carter Hart and Vince Dunn: North Shore Beaches, NSW. Daddy’s money. Carter probably did Nippers whereas Vince was a skater boy. 

Travis Konecny: Darwin, NT. Would 100% live there and enjoy it. He would try to conduct crocodile tours but gets assigned to feeding the baby crocs and doing shows for little kids. 

Tyson Barrie: Perisher, NSW. One of the only ski resorts we have to offer, major friendly mountain man energy.

Nolan Patrick: Byron Bay, NSW. @antoineroussel enlightened me, steering away from my original thought of Katoomba, NSW. Byron Bay is a magnet for hippies and links rainforest to the ocean. Chris Hemsworth and his family also live there.

William Nylander: Perth, WA. I don’t know much about Perth other than they wouldn’t shut up about partying while the other states had to quarantine. For some reason, I also associate Perth with Tik Tok. 

Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid: Melbourne CBD, VIC. These two would live in the same apartment building in the city, Connor one level above Sidney. It’s the most boring looking block of them all and Crosby would send in complaints to the landlord about McDavid pacing during the night.

Tyler Seguin: Surfers Paradise, QLD. Party central, not many people are actually from this area and he would be sure to tell absolutely everyone that he was. I also think he would get a Meter Maid tattoo, specifically on his leg. Has definitely slept on the beach before because he couldn’t find his way home.

Jamie Benn: Hobart, TAS. Tasmania is usually forgotten about. Another one with mountain man energy except he is more creepy than friendly.

Mitch Marner: Fitzroy, VIC. @antoineroussel is responsible for this one too. Hipster central, makes you question how the hell someone so young can have so much money. Would chug $45 wine and not blink an eye.

(honourable mentions include = Sammy Blais: Hobart, Tas. Once again no comment on Tasmania. TJ Oshie: Cairns, QLD. Would do reef tours. Haydn Fleury: Western Sydney, NSW. BUT TO ELABORATE UHHHMM hmm so like

People HEAR kyle. People hear his shouting, his demanding, his AWFUL jokes (deebo: the chips are down kyle: like? Potato- potato chips? *extends pop bottle microphone closer to demar's interview*), his loud laughter, his unnecessary SOUND effects with his unnecessary physical COMEDY ( s T O M P I N. wiTH. the. BIG. boYS !WITH... *swaggers away from his made shot as demar giggles. Probably emphasizing his stomps just to make demar laugh MORE), his smartass comments to reporters ignorantly written off as friendly cheekiness by them despite the OBVIOUS fact that he HATES them (EXCEPT when it's to talk about.. DE-MAAAR!!). KYLE IS.. heard. Does that mean he's LIKED??? um. Well.

Kyle can be .. bossy. To put it lightly. Or an ASSHOLE, to put it now DEMARLY(beloved) but DEROGATORILY. He can argue with coaches like it's a HOBBY! And refs! ESPECIALLY refs! Demar is beloved. Like. Thats just FACTS! reasonable tangible understandable FACTS!! serge would PUNCH a man for even HINTING dislike toward demar! We ALL would!!! Deebo is nice and sociable and truthful, can hold pleasant small talk, responds to reporters with delightful little metaphors for rudy gay to question. DEEBO IS A K I N G !!! a pleasant MANNERFUL king! Elegant demarvelous GORGEOUS he is THE WORLDS girlfriend! We DONT deserve him!!!! you know.. he's good at decency. 'Deebo's a Nice Guy. He's known for freezing up during playoffs.. but he's Likeable. He's Nice. So he'll be OK.'

Deebo has the 'i can socialize well in small conversations and i WANT to act pleasant to others because i care for them!!' Attitude People go through where they're 'on good terms' with a lot of people but not... their Number one. Not really KNOWN for ALL that he Is. All that he DOESN'T say. Because what if people Don't want to hear it? What if people Don't want their 'perfect' image of Deebo destroyed? Marred by depressing thoughts, chocked uselessly full of silly Obsessions and Ideas. They just like Pleasant deebo.. Want pleasant deebo. So he gives them that. And represses what he thinks isn't needed. Hides it. Doesn't speak it into life. well- absolutes are Difficult. Sometimes he let's Some Things slip out. Just little things though. No one cares enough to put what he says into memory though. It doesn't make impact that way. He's content with it, he supposes. Because others are.

But. It really does feel Good being with Kyle. JOKING with him, TALKING to him, telling him all your 'silly little ideas', goofing off with him, proposing a MOVIE together, little roles they can fit (the matrix clip..), it feels nice BEING with him. Because he LISTENS. Even if others only see Kyle as this stubborn asshole who takes no opinion beside his own into account, Kyle really does Listen. He might make some snide comments in reply, but he Retains the information given.. the things said. They can hurt him, or they could make him feel Alive. Laugh. Kyle lives for pushing people past their 'Decent' boundaries at the beginning to see who they REALLY are.. the Extent of their Being. He gives them his 100% in search of 100% in return. And you can Bet Demar gives that to him plus More. Plus the moon and the stars and the old movies of his time and his dumb little dances and his musical aspirations and his bothersome interview interruptions and his Love... demar is More than willing to give Kyle EVERYTHING. Because Kyle Asks for his everything. WANTS his Everything. Kyle takes Demar's everything and makes it Beautiful. Let's demar know it's meaningful. He doesn't show it as perfectly Expected, but he Shows it. Demar tells Kyle about his rapping hobby on a lazy afternoon relaxing from another harsh conditioning morning. He tells it as nothing more than a mere Afterthought, just an excuse able comment sprung by music listening inspiration. But Kyle HEARS it, TALKS about it. He brings it up in an interview... the reporter didn't ASK for it. She asked about his favorite rapper. But because Kyle thinks about demar SO much and about EVERYTHING he says, the good, the bad, the Cringe, he brings DeMar's hobbies up. He doesn't EXPOSE them in DEPTH though, just gives them a shoutout. To let the people hear. And to let demar know he's Been heard

Demar thinks of kyle often. Feisty asshole kyle. Couldn't live without me kyle. The man i leaned down to while he was on the floor kyle. The man i told i'd be by no matter What kyle. Because no matter What anyone else thinks of him, Deebo will be there .

Because Kyle's a Listener.

And DeMar sees that.
