autism acceptance month: day 9!

Day 9. Talk about Autism Speaks. Do you support them? What’s your opinion about their policies? And/or Talk about special interests. Do you have a special interest? What is it? Feel free to infodump.

i’m gonna answer both prompts because the first one will take me one sentence: auti$m $peaks is garbage and their policies are garbage and no one should support them however well intentioned that person is.

now!! special interests!!! i have Many but the big ones are harry potter, homestuck, weird sea creatures esp jellies, and words/writing/anything literary or linguistic!

my favorite hp character is luna, closely followed by neville, and then harry and hermione at a tie for third. i also rly love remus and sirius. snivellus manpain aka s3verus sn@pe is a pile of rotting garbage. ginny weasley should have been a lesbian. tonks should also have been a lesbian. she and remus were clearly bearding each other. my fave book is order of the phoenix.

my fave hs character should be obvious. look at my url. its roxy lalonde. i love roxy lalonde. she is So Good. i also love dirk strider and EVERY BETA KID especially jade. jade and dirk and roxy science buddies is iMPORTANT!!! my fave trolls are karkat, sollux and aradia. sollux is my patron. i love that nerdy asshole. the ending makes me want to tear my hair out and i’ll be bitter until the inevitable heatdeath of the universe about dirk and roxy never having an on screen heart to heart!!!!!!! what the fuxk!!!!

SEA CREATURES, I love. sea creatures. i love fish. some spcies of jellies are immortal and they don’t have brains but they’re ALIVE ANYWAY and i think thats amazing. sunfish aka mola mola are not very bright but they are BIG and so silly looking and i love them and if you ever reblog that pic of one getting a hole bit in its head i will literally unfollow you. cuttlefish are Adorable. i love the way they walk on their lil face tentacles. octopi are so smart and if they ever take over the world i will gladly submit to their leadership.

writing!!! book!!! words!!! reading!! im a creative writing major and i love writing and reading and poems and the way language grows and changes and the way the same words in different contexts can evoke different feelings and i love how silly and weird metaphors are!!! i love slam poetry, i love shakespeare, i love ya romance i love good scifi i love. books. words. yes.

I feel so horrible about this but sometimes i get SO bitter about ppl who have anxiety/similar mental health issues but are just able to get on w their lives in spite of it, while i can barely go to classes (& never participate when i do bc panic attacks etc) so when someone i know who has anxiety etc is successful I can't feel happy for them I'm just resentful (even if theyve worked for it) I feel like such a piece of shit but im bitter bc no matter how much i try my mental issues fuck it up

I’m the same exact way. honestly I’m resentful and bitter when ANYBODY is successful who isn’t me lmao. I don’t think that makes you a pos at all, I think it’s a natural reaction given how difficult things are and the insecurity that comes with that. it’s not that you literally don’t want others to succeed, but it’s a reminder of your shortcomings when they do. I don’t think there’s any point in trying to mitigate those very valid feelings of bitterness and resentment when you’ve been dealt an unfortunate card like that. not to sound fatalistic, but it really fuxking sucks especially since society is structured in a way that primarily allows those without mental and physical issues to succeed, and to think about how you’re being disabled by your mental health issues and others are able to just trudge on on their paths to success without all these impediments (not that they don’t have their own struggles but) causes negative feelings to come up. but then to see how others have mental issues and still manage is doubly stressful. but IMO that means their mental issues are different than yours and affects them differently, in diff aspects etc. it doesn't make you less strong or anything. don’t put yourself down for feeling these things. but do try to not get stuck in the negative bitter frame of mind bc that’s something I’m personally guilty of, and it is very unproductive and unhealthy (mentally and physically).

So i developed a system that the driver team that wants to fight fights as a team and they have to pay real cash money starting at $10,000 that just goes up and up. If they intend to fight a human and Easter Egg occurs and the aliens that put up the bounty to warrior can't fight and must award all cash to the human ran team. Like Erica Enders.

And if she catches you talking shit after the cash award (usually a wire payment) and she will. She racks up fees and fines aka charges. Then she can beat the shit outta the alien team that has to stand there with their hands at their sides or in their pockets after the pockets are cleared by the awarded team and each person gets 5 hits to the face or ribs then the shit talker gets 10 from each team member from the human side.

Aliens do not belong on Earth. Many of the drivers are the worst offenders of human trafficking which is why They are allowed in the NHRA so we can spy on them and is why rhe mechanics are so many humans.

Because by default humans hate aliens. Its just a distaste we are programmed and then we feel sorry for them for our programmed hate..

It is a very vicious cycle and very painful. Because we can't stand the way they act or dress or the way they're so fucking happy. And its because they lie and hide who they are from us and we feel it.

No matter how hard we try to like them and enjoy being with them the hiding and lying over and over of their true identity is terrible.

When an alien DOES then it's full of mystery and wonder.

Sometimes we can act like children and allow a person to follow us around and copy every move like the other kid doesn't know how to live. But there comes a point even a child will explode in temper.

Even Venus. Neptune and Mars when they transferred to human Because they earned the right by following the rules we still had to tweak their brains and look and so on.
