Trama

Il primo anno delle medie è terminato, eppure Teresa si sente ancora una bambina, con i capelli sempre arruffati e le ginocchia perennemente sbucciate. È come se fosse rimasta indietro. E quando arriva alla casa al mare dove ogni anno trascorre le vacanze, scopre con stupore e tristezza che anche lì è destinata a sentirsi quella fuori posto, inadeguata: le compagne di gioco di una vita ora sono interessate solo allo smalto e ai ragazzi, il rapporto con il suo migliore amico è improvvisamente complicato, e tutti sembrano cresciuti tranne lei. "Dov'è la sfavillante Terry, la versione di sé sicura e matura, che aspetta da tempo?", si chiede ogni giorno guardandosi allo specchio. Ma proprio quando Teresa si è ormai rassegnata a trascorrere un'estate orribile, ecco comparire Agata. Dolce e forte al tempo stesso, conquista subito l'affetto e la simpatia di Teresa. E molto più: le fa battere forte il cuore, sudare le mani, sognare il primo bacio...

Recensione

È un romanzo delicato e sincero, poche ma istruttive pagine che raccontano della crescita di una ragazzina in fase pre-adolescenziale, che si sente ancora bambina ma che vorrebbe già essere grande.

È una storia adatta a tutti, a quei bambini che, come Teresa, stanno cercando ed esplorando se stessi, divisi tra la paura di conoscersi e il desiderio di emozionarsi, ma anche ai più grandi che sentono di essere ancora un po' bambini o a quelli che, invece, vogliono ricordarsi di quando erano loro i bambini a vivere quelle stesse emozioni che sta vivendo la protagonista del romanzo nella sua storia.

La scorrevolezza e la dolcezza con cui Fiore scrive di Teresa e dei suoi amici è reale, tra le righe si può leggere che Fiore ha vissuto quasi le stesse emozioni ed esperienze di Teresa.

È un libro che si legge anche in un giorno. Ottimo da leggere sotto l'ombrellone in estate, a settembre tornati dalle vacanze, ma anche solo in un qualsiasi altro periodo dell'anno per spezzare da una lettura all'altra.

Non c’è coperta di depistaggi e menzogne che possa coprire la verità sul caso di Ilaria Alpi e Miran Hrovatin, assassinati a Mogadiscio il 20 marzo 1994 mentre stavano facendo il loro lavoro. Difendere la memoria della giornalista e dell’operatore del Tg3 e lottare a fianco delle loro famiglie per avere verità e giustizia è diventato un impegno collettivo, un atto di resistenza civile e di cittadinanza attiva che vedono coinvolti anche oggi centinaia di associazioni e cittadini della società civile del nostro Paese.

Lo sanno bene gli organizzatori della serata “La verità non muore a 25 anni dall’omicidio di Ilaria e Miran” che si terrà venerdì 22 marzo dalle ore 18 al WeGil di Largo Ascianghi 5 a Trastevere, Roma.

Con musica, parole e immagini verranno ripercorsi questi 25 anni e ricordati anche Luciana e Giorgio Alpi. Interverranno, fra gli altri, Raffaele Lorusso, segretario Federazione Nazionale della Stampa Italiana, Mariangela Gritta Grainer, Federica Sciarelli, Maurizio Torrealta, Luciano Scalettari, Chiara Cazzaniga, Bianca Berlinguer e Giuseppe Giulietti.  Mauro Biani interpreterà con le sue vignette il ricordo di Ilaria e Miran. L’attore Vittorio Viviani reciterà Io so di Pasolini, mentre la lettura del testo di Aldo Nove Io, la verità, parlo è affidata all’attrice Carla Chiarelli.  Scenografia di Marco Catalani e fotografie di Paola Gennari Santori. Il contributo musicale è a cura di Nicola Alesini, Patrizia Bovi, Paolo Fresu, del gruppo folk rock The Gang e della Scraps Orchestra.  Durante la serata verrà proiettato un video su Giorgio Alpi di Ferdinando Vicentini Orgnani, con testo di Marcello Fois, musiche di Paolo Fresu, voce di Omero Antonutti. Conducono l’evento Elisa Marincola e Francesco Cavalli.

L’ingresso è libero fino a esaurimento posti.
