Note
you aren’t cool or relatable so stop pretending that you are. you are so fake and you push this friendly narrative when you are really just a cold hearted bitch. this is why no one wants to be your friend.
why is this the stuff i wake up to??? just for your sake im going to explain something even if you dont care, which you probably dont….. my friend group of 8 years cut me off the summer before senior year bc i wasnt going out to party as much as them….. i walked around my ENTIRE senior year without the majority of my “friends” and had to interact with them every day because they were in my classes….. so yea, maybe i try hard and push the friendly narrative, because yes i want to be as open and friendly to everyone…… it’s the kind of person i would have wanted to be friends with my senior year of HS…..someone who said hi to me every day….. someone who actively made sure i was ok and getting enough social attention to feel welcome….. idfc if you don’t like me being so outright to people….. hope you have a good day and know that people are usually a certain way for a reason

Love in Time
[Tsukishima Kei x Reader SMAU]

Synopsis: Tsukishima and Y/N finally truly meet. Will they find love?
A/N: ik this is an smau so you're not really supposed to read but i swear this is important!! I have a little summary at the bottom if you're feeling lazy and want to skip the reading. That being said, enjoy!
This had to be a mistake. You looked down at your phone to check the address Kenma sent you, wondering if maybe staying a night at a stranger’s apartment had been a bad idea. You hadn’t hesitated to accept when he’d first told you, but now you were certain this was the worst choice you could’ve made.
Unlocking the door to the apartment was your adversary. Tsukishima looked at you with furrowed brows when he noticed your strong gaze.
“Are you stalking me?” he asked, disgusted. You clicked your tongue. It wasn’t really that you disliked him because of his comment to you, plenty of people had misconceptions about nude modelling. But you’d seen the way he spoke to his friends and the people he should care about. His ignorance irritated you to your core.
“I’m staying the night. Didn’t…” you racked your mind for his roommates name. Kenma had given you both their numbers. “Akaashi tell you?”
Tsukishima sighed. “Oh,” he spit. “So you’re Bokuto’s friend. Of course.” With that comment (what’s wrong with Bokuto? you wondered), he headed into his apartment, leaving the door open behind him. You followed.
“Right, I am Bokuto’s friend,” you agreed. “Is that a problem?” If you remembered correctly, so was his roommate that wrote the article about him.
Tsukishima hummed, ignoring your question. He walked through his apartment, seemingly heading towards his own room, but you stopped him in the hallway.
“I asked if that was a problem,” you reminded him, voice demanding. Standing face to face in the narrow hallway, you were able to get a good view of Tsukishima for the first time. He’s pretty, you thought. His eyelashes were long and his features were very gentle. Too bad his expression ruined it.
He opened his mouth to protest, but his wide eyes clearly showed he was off guard. “I just don’t want to deal with another annoying, hyperactive kid running around my apartment.”
To Tsukishima’s surprise, your shoulders relaxed at his comment. Eyes narrowing, you let out a slow breath of air and stepped forward. The gap between the two of you shrinks, and he can start to smell your perfume. He noticed the way your lips moved when you talked, and how your eyes fluttered, drawing him in.
“I’m not a kid,” you assure, voice low. Your fingers trail up his chest, tracing circles over his skin. Tsukishima shivers under the contact. “I’m a woman.” You say it like a promise.
Tsukishima gulps nervously, and finds himself jumping out of your reach. “What is wrong with you?” he asks, raising his voice. He hopes that maybe his discomfort will make you weary, perhaps you’ll stop bothering him and he’ll be able to get to his room in peace. Instead, your smile widens. You’re laughing at him.
“Isn’t that what you thought of me?” you cock your head to the side and Tsukishima realizes he’s fallen for your trap, hook, line, and sinker. “I’m just some stupid women who gets naked for money?”
The image of your naked body, which he remembers clearly, has him feeling hot and clammy under your intense glare. He wants to protest and to tell you that you’re wrong, he’d never make that assumption. But all too soon was Tsukishima remembering all of the comments he’d made to friends and strangers unlike, all bubbling up his throat and choking his silence.
“Your disregard for people you care about is appalling,” you tell him bluntly. Tsukishima wants to respond with something witty that’ll make you swallow your words, but for once his mind is blank.
He lets out a sigh of relief at the sound of the door opening, Akaashi’s presence a saving grace.
“Am I interrupting something?” Akaashi asks, raising an eyebrow. Suddenly, Tsukishima is brought back down to Earth and he realizes how compromising it must look for Akaashi to walk into the apartment and witness his roommate, backed against a wall and breathing heavy, face to face with a girl smiling maliciously and standing far closer to him than he cared to recognize.
He doesn’t respond for fear of his voice cracking under pressure. Fortunately, you speak for him.
“Not at all,” you chirp, smile sickeningly sweet. “I’ll stay on the couch tonight, thank you for your hospitality, Akaashi!” You skip away, no signs of the overbearing presence you bared earlier.
Akaashi raises an eyebrow at Tsukishima, clearly sensing the tension between them. “She is a demon,” he breathes out in response before huffing to his room.
Although the thought crosses his mind that Akaashi should be concerned about whatever happened between the two of you, he finds himself laughing instead. It is the first time in months Tsukishima has looked so alive.
TLDR: Y/N goes to Akaashi and Tsukishima’s apartment and knocks some sense into Tsukishima. Akaashi thinks it's funny.
