Evening with the Keji household, featuring cat hijinks. Dudders is good at hunting vermin, but won't eat it and hasn't warmed to cat food either... he prefers turkey.

The following morning... all is quiet and normal, until the ladies finish their work in the garden for a nap inside, and Ife gets dinner started

oh no.

The early attempts to put the fire out is what I'll argue saved the cats, and all the half dozen randos who ran into the fire just to see what was up

But fire spreads insanely fast and Ife is overwhelmed

I couldn't save him :(

But I saved his family. by locking the door so they couldn't run out of the room they were already in to look at the fire and get caught in it

Because that fire went on for hours even after Ife was gone

And don't worry, not one of the damn fools that ran up to the flames just to shout and flail even caught fire, don't ask me how that works. They just flailed for a bit and then noped outta there

Their cat Piggy noped out as well :(

Eventually the fire dies out, having wrecked their entire cooking and dining area

Sanma and Tika try to comfort each other, but damn, they're kind of screwed now with the twins about to enter toddlerhood

Suyana, while having a very romance sim vibe, is actually a popularity sim first, and would really like to have more best friends. Imole seems like a good candidate because they share the same favorite color.

Imole's dog Spot is also here.

While Yana is out making friends, at home the clock strikes birthday

Ewa resembles her big brother Aworan A LOT. Their personalities are very different though. He's a Leo, quite neat, VERY outgoing, somewhat serious and lazy and not as super-nice as Ewa. But like, I had to check :P

Here she's meeting her uncle Ife, barfing all over the man. Adorable.

Imole also meets the niece. But when her husband's around, all she wants to do is romantic gestures

Yana and Oorun are similar. I guess their conflict is over now then :/

Oorun is nearing old age and will grow elderlier next round, but he wants to take part in teaching Ewa her walking skills before crouching down like that becomes too painful.

Time now to start round 12 (whaaat) with this picture of itty bitty new kitty Wiola, looking spaced out.

Auntie Inti visits. She and Eallin have a secret cool guy handshake and everything.

Para is also visiting, helping out with little T'ika. No wonder how Eallin has been able to hang out all day at all her neighbor's houses since last round, there's no shortage of free babysitters around.

The neighbors' cooking has had a bit of an effect on Eallin's waistline though, not that it's noticeable at all with that baggy robe

When Eallin needs to tend the garden or slaughter poultry or sleep or something, T'ika's uncle Ife likes playing in her sandpile with her.

But whenever she has a free moment, she prioritizes teaching T'ika her toddler skills.

It takes time and patience, but as a knowledge sim, she knows the importance of having a solid foundation for learning, and giving T'ika that is worth every minute.

Here's another thing that's worth every minute: smoked poultry sausages. When those meat logs are good and dry, Eallin will tear up some jerky, and that extra protein should help little T'ika grow big and strong.

That night something bizarre happened. Imole Nubbe walked by and I had Eallin greet her, hoping to introduce T'ika to another one of her aunts. Instead Imole ran straight to the upper bedroom that's not in use right now

where it's all completely ablaze.

idk when this happened, or why? don't think there was anything in this room that could spontaneously combust and cause this

though apparently Tanna's firey ghost is around and actually shows herself to her sister. Could she have done this?

Sky the cat is just hanging out in the flames as well, why...

did Tanna just exorcise herself with the inferno? Her gravestone is still here but T'ika is feeling like the death just happened but it's days and days ago, i don't understand

Imole decides she's seen enough I guess

And the fire gradually dies down, leaving only the very flammable looking clothing hamper and manger unscathed. Also damn it Sky now your little feet will be all sooty.

Meanwhile T'ika was sleeping through the night in the open air, watched over by the diligent Wiola.

Who upon this day also grows a little less littler.

Sky survived the fire unharmed to get hugs from Eallin who also slept through the whole thing.

The Tuawha household is always buzzing with activity. Here Miharo is chatting with fellow kid Miretsi Bigarrena, while cousin Para and next door neighbor Ife disagree about something.

Tuawha has picked up a few tricks from his older brother Harikoa and learned to salt-pack fish. Now they don't need to fish as often.

Gather round everyone and meet the little. Luma has gone to bed for some much needed rest, but Tapu is happy to introduce the baby to all of not even a fifth of his relatives

Miharo meets this cool older kid Eallin, who has a doggie who keeps chasing its own tail

The youths are digging Tapu's fly beats as well, and he earned some cash. It didn't fulfill the "perform music for tips" wish he had though.

After an eventful day, the family sleeps.

Moar Keji household. The crops are suffering a bit from the excessive rain, but Elewá has the skill to make it all better.

Ife is back in love with his wife as well, so that's nice

Elewá has been getting to know Indartsu Lehenik. Her ex's flirtations with Tapu Tuatahi doesn't bother her at all, and her brothers seem to approve of Indartsu

so she pursues. I'm sure Indartsu is happy to have something to take his mind off things too.

Things are quiet back home. Eallin Vuosttamus stops by to dote on the cats.

Yeah, I can't keep track on who's friends with who either. Apparently Tika and Luma are BFF's, but I can't remember that happening and their relationship score was kinda low by now. and the 'friend' flag had gone. I do see Tika and Luma as similar types (both romance secondary, both brunettes, both wild pretty) Hopefully she'll have more time to social network as her kids grow older

Nother cousin visit. Ori's not impressed. Miharo is nowhere near as cool as Para.

Over to the Keta household now, where Didan adops a new tiny doggie. This is Mips. Or as the game named her, "Mips ". I'm gonna have to change that aren't I -_-

Anyway, Mips and preexisting dog Tucker get along just swell. We love to see it.

The loss of the fifth schmancy chair is almost as greatly felt as that of the pottery wheel that was never used even once I believe

The next day, two of Did's siblings visit, along with their cat and this beaut of a stray dog.

I wanted that beaut of a stray dog, but we did not succeed in adopting him.

But we are not too dog-deprived, for Tucker and Mips have a surprise for their human

Mucker is maybe not a kind name, but the puppy doesn't seem to mind it at all. And Did loves him a whole lot.

Twinsies! A boy and a girl, named Ori and Oye respectively. If only Orotika's father could have lived to have two sets of twins as grandchildren, each set born within one round of each other! I believe Ori has his eyes as well. Weee

Everyone is thrilled, and utterly distracted from their dinner, which their cat Dudders very helpfully finishes for them

When we last left the Keji household, Mr. Keji here, Ife, had just caught his wife Orotika in the act of receiving an amorous embrace from Hatun Qallariq withut sufficient objection on her part.

I don't know what tricks Tika pulled since then, but like he's barely even mad at her

Maybe it's her cooking, maybe it's the woohoo... or maybe the romantic rival just perished in a fire so she's guaranteed not to get involved with specifically him again.

Ife also lost a sister in said fire, which may have made his beef with Tika seem like nothing. He wasn't acting angry with her at all, but also didn't cry for the dearly departed Tanna. Mellow fellow.

Meanwhile, the twins are entering adulthood

And as is tradition, they are promptly sent out to find some eligible partners.

Imole and Arvi only have one bolt of chemistry, but he's also the only adult single guy she has ANY chemistry with, so

Unfortunately Imole is a klutz and steps on his boot with her bare toe - the agony!

Elsewhere, Elewá spots Indartsu Lehenik, brother of her ex-gf Luma.

Indartsu is as hot as his sisters, but unfortunately seems to be having a breakdown. He must have had a major fear fulfilled, maybe Tanna's death? idk

He doesn't object to Elewá fulfilling a want to flirt, always a good sign.

But then the changing weather had him hurrying home.

Elewá also runs into Luma, who has marriage on the mind. Sorry Lumes, you're still too young.

Back home:

Ife has adopted one of the kittens of the Akoko cats, and he just grew up!

Also Ife and Tika's baby Awosanma is growing up fast

Like most of the gen 2 kids, she got a very sweet personality, and is a Aquarius, like yours truly. I didn't get screenshots in time for her trait rolls, but she got Neurotic and Loves the Cold.
