Uncle Puawai makes a visit to the Reeds hut to meet the kiddos.

Eallin is also here.

And now that we know that, we can get on with the main event.

Tapu and Miharo don't even glance over here, damn. Must be a riveting convo. Also hi Aroha

Another baby girl! Welcome Peara :)

Everyone's eager to meet the baby

but babies need a lot of sleep and is eventually taken inside for a nap

everyone else may party on tho

Luma feels no need for bed rest this time and just wants to teach Awhina her words. She's really getting the hang of this childbirth thing

look at all these good kids being good kids

wow even the cats are playing nice! this household is blessed fr. well they are father and daughter so i guess that makes sense. (so yeah the visiting cat with the stripey coat is Vang and he's Luna II's father)

Can't say the same for the cat and dog though. Oh well

Morning at the Tuawha household. Looks like it's gonna be a sunny day.

And Luma's pottery-ing gets interrupted by baby bump #2

Miretsi visits. Awhina's a popular baby.

A lot of people drop by here. It keeps things interesting.

But so do birthdays! Wuruhi's aging up

Lookin good!

But that's not all! as far as aging up goes I mean

Whee, Awhina grew! She looks A LOT like her mom, and is Insane just like her too lol

Tomu and Wuruhi still like to draw together. Wuruhi notices that it's easier to master the technique now that she has longer and stronger fingers

As an artist herself, Luma is happy to see her children taking to the craft

Meanwhile, Awhina is slowly working towards taking her first steps. As a lifelong walker himself, Tapu is thrilled to see his daughter taking to the activity

Awhina is also excited about eating solid foods. Very excited.

The bedroom is filling up. There are now five sims to this 6x3 bedroom, we'll se how many more we can manage to squeeze in here, especially if Luma gets that want for 10 children fulfilled..

Miharo has to help out with baby Awhina as Luma's still not feeling well. Her bf Aworan finds the little one very cute.

Luma gets her bump! Also thanks for cleaning the cat bed Tomu

tfw your brother-in-law won't quit talking about who knows what that is and you're just wondering whether your niece's bf is worthy of her

Tapu seems cool with Aworan, anyway. Also Sanma visits. The word of her youngest cousin having entered the world must've made the rounds

Day 2 with the Tuawhas. It's a new day and a bunch of aunts uncles and cousins visit

Luma's not feeling too great. That was quick wasn't it? She only just had a baby last night

Said baby is shown here meeting her uncle Entzu.

meanwhile her older siblings are working on their artistic skills

She might not be the baby of the house anymore, but Wuruhi's aunts and uncles are still lining up to hug and play with her

When Miharo grows restless, she likes to go to the beach. Despite being shy and a Loner, she's still a popularity sim and likes to challenge herself to socialize with the other kool kidz

Today uncle Tapu and aunt Luma convinced her to bring Tomuritanga along. He seems to be pretty self-sufficient so it's not even a hassle really

Meanwhile Oye Keji and Nerea Bigarrena seem to be hitting it off playing tag on the path. One approves.

Like any introvert, Miharo needs a break from the kool kidz now and then, and finds that there's nothing better for it than a good swim. Meanwhile Tomu's befriending T'ika Qallariq, one of very few fellow kids in he neighborhood he's not related to, just making a note of that to myself don't mind me

back home:

Anyway yeah Aworan visits and I have them go steady. Miharo has also been courted by Aitor previously but I want better things for her and he prefers Moemoea anyway

positive memories all around! and yeah most of my sims' memories are of relatives' birthdays now, that's how this goes i guess

Tuawha household now... I still really like these guys

Miharo had to spend the hot hours of the day inside to recover from a bad heatstroke, but it's all healed up by the the evening when her fave guy Aworan drops by

Little Wuruhi, snoozing while watched over by the family kitty Luna :3

The next minute a howl of pain rings through the dark night

the baby approacheth!

The Tuawhas welcome another daughter, and name her Awhina

predictably, the tiny bundle is barely dry outta the womb before Luma rolls this want:

Pua has his hands full with two toddlers, one of whom is refusing the potty... this game is really testing me and him

In happier news, the older daughters have taken up fishing, and Oraora provides the evening's dinner; a plump and lovely fat fish, which cooks up to plenty to feed the whole bunch plus visiting uncle Tapu and aunt Ausarta

As for teaching these two their toddler skills, progress is slow... at least Teina is old enough to teach nursery rhymes, that will keep one of the tinies occupied for a time ar least

but we get there in the end with some of the skills :)

Having gained some independence, Maru and Pouri let their dad have a break do some drawing, while Aroha meets her cousin Sanma.

Meanwhile Vang enters elderhood, which hopefully means his angry gf Wiola will go easier on him from now on..

Still lookin' smokin'!

Miretsi's also visiting

... and she and Sanma become besties over the course of that day. One approves.

Para would love a cat, but currently this household is so full it's getting stressful trying to micromanage everyone tbh

Although having a number of kids stuck in bed with flu at all times helps a bit :P

Also, older children are easier on the micromanager than the olde more independent ones, so Nui's birthday is very welcome

But, wait, there's more!

Just as simalteneously, oldest kid Para grows all the way out of even being a kid at all

and into not her style at all!

Nui gets the fortune aspiration with only skill-based opinions on prospective romantic partners, and both sisters grew up feeling great so that's great

And their barely makeover-ed looks. We're about to transition into the Roman era (y'all don't understand how hyped I am for that) and I expect these will need new looks for that

and I forgot to roll Nui's preference for the longest time but through the magic of hindsight here it is now

Late night dinner with a couple relations... we're being quiet because most of the family is sleeping

And the next morning is the last morning of our time with these folks for a while

The youths have uncle Tapu over for breakfast

Just off the coast of Moon Islands, a strange creature dwells in the waves

lmao I got you! it's only Miharo Tuatoru, a sim who Loves To Swim.

Uncle Tapu and aunt Luma won't let her swim too far from land, but otherwise they encourage her healthy hobby

not least because it gets her out of the house so they can pursue their, uh, hobby

Tomuritanga's growing up straight up handsome, if I do say so myself

Hi and welcome to round 12: Tuawha segment! Part one. I've honestly missed these guys. It's wild how chill it is to play a reasonably sized household now.

Tapu welcomes new puppy Tipper to the family. His visiting niece Moemoea looks less than impressed.

That evening, baby boy Tomuritanga grows

And so does Miharo!

For some reason I decided this called for experimental gimpery, pls don't judge

and here's her post-makeover look

She did this thing a few times where she tilts her head to the right slightly while looking at people or stuff? so to me that's part of her personality now.

Tommy's doing great with learning all his toddler skills and stuff

and that's a good thing because he's about to not be the littlest family member anymore!

The Tuawha household is always buzzing with activity. Here Miharo is chatting with fellow kid Miretsi Bigarrena, while cousin Para and next door neighbor Ife disagree about something.

Tuawha has picked up a few tricks from his older brother Harikoa and learned to salt-pack fish. Now they don't need to fish as often.

Work hard, play hard. Of course balloons don't exist in this prehistoric era, think of these as the splash fruit from tears of the kingdom thats such a good game

Anyway! after the play time it's eat time

but then it is interrupted by birth time!

Puawai is very annoyed for some reason, whereas Tapu is very worried for understandable reason

Lorea, also visiting, leads the fellow onlookers in prayer

and

A boy! (flipping finally!) he bears the proud name of Tomuritanga, but I will in all likelihood be calling him Tom for short

Gather round everyone and meet the little. Luma has gone to bed for some much needed rest, but Tapu is happy to introduce the baby to all of not even a fifth of his relatives

Miharo meets this cool older kid Eallin, who has a doggie who keeps chasing its own tail

The youths are digging Tapu's fly beats as well, and he earned some cash. It didn't fulfill the "perform music for tips" wish he had though.

After an eventful day, the family sleeps.

And that concludes the Tuawha segment of round 11.

And now for the first time ever, we head to the newly established Tuawha household, situated here, in the deceptively named Reed Hut. Deceptively, because that's not even reeds is it.

Lovebirds Tapu and Luma waste no time in trying out their new bedroom. I may have heard a little tune too ♪

Meanwhile, Miharo meets a cute cat. I think this is Dudders.

Tapu's niece Moemoea visits to congratulate the couple on their new home

But she and the other random guests will soon have more to congratulate em on

Tapu feels this has been in the cards since he and Luma decided to move in together a few days ago, but is still touched almost to tears by how happily Luma accepts his proposal.

No time to waste!

Luma's skirt is the one her mother wore when she was young, handed down and worn on special days like this one

Their witnesses consist of niece Miharo, Dudders the cat and Tapu's older brother Puawai. There are other guests but they're busy playing kicky bag -_-

There you can see them in the background. Entzu your baby sister is getting married ffs mate

And yeah Tapu and Miharo's skirts are the same... the fabric was on sale okay

Yeah I spent over a thousand moleys on that bloody wedding arch that we sold again immediately after because this household has like no money

But they have each other. Luna the kitten sighting! She's learning that she's a good cat for peeing outside and not in the house she can't access :P

the next morning:

oooo it's so exciting

Luma is a family sim so she's ecstatic about this, but I'm not so sure about that dress for her

Luma's big brother Indartsu is visiting, but because of the rain they spend the day inside the barely furnished house. At least Miharo is having fun.

Luma's OTH is Art, and she hoped to decorate a bit with her works, though selling is perhaps the wiser move at this point

the next morning

the game reminds me that I must have some odd default pet eyes installed, because Luna's went from bright green to dark brownish upon growuppening. Oh well

And bumpity!

hey Tapu, how nice of you to drop by and bond with totally not ur poly shenanigans nephew

Apparently the little guy is about to be a big brother. No extramarital nonsense happened this time though

Another one of Stuorra's totally not relatives, Orotika, is also visiting, and she and Tapu join Imole for an invigorating cup of milk

Arvi's feeling cuddly

and Bierdna is excited about bedmaking

the next day is another fine one fore the beach. Arvi hangs out in the hot spring with his old buddy Didan while Rieban builds a sandcastle with Teina Tuawha

Meanwhile Bierdna tries to get a tan.

it ain't a trip to a community lot without people watching of course

Trust me Sanma, you're better off not hugging this one

After chilling with the girls for a bit, Rieban goes to chenck the sand for treasure

but only found this rude crab :(

Looks like Bierdna didn't get that tan, but she does make a few new friends

Rieban and Bierdna later talk about their day over milk. Meeting people is exciting.

And now, at long last, Tuatahis! Which there's about to be another one of!

Awatea grew up into an utter gem. I almost regret pulling her out of that teddy suit.

And then I sent the kids to the beach. The ones old enough to go I mean.

Wahi makes a friend in Egun Lehenik, and Miretsi and Sanma are mostly getting along too

Please ignore Aevi and Inti being criminals in the background

again please ignore, they do not speak for me or my gameplay

Back home, the weather turns. Para chills indoors along with Mips, the new family dog

Nui doesn't mind the rain as long as she's got her blocks. Also I reallyy wish I had the wherewithal to default replace these with like a wood texture

and as evening comes, so does birthday!

Nui grows up hella cute

Tuarua household part 2. Miharo and Oraora bond.

Luma here used to be almost Tapu's girlfriend, except she already had a girlfriend 🙄 but she got all grown up so now they're just besties

She is also Lorea's sister and auntie to the twins. She and Oraora hit it off right away.

I needed to have not quite so many cats around, so I had Tapu sell Vang to the Lehenik household.

Eallin Vuosttamus also got a kitten, but aware as we are of her difficult situation, she gets her cat for free. Hopefully Wiola gets along well with Eallin's other animals, one of which can be seen in the above image playing with Luma.

That very same evening

Tapu feels a change coming on.

He grows up less than content with life so far, but as least he looks awesome. And yeah that's all (living) Gen 1 sims grown up now! Milestone and all that

And then I decided to shake things up a bit.

Firstly: in a world where pairing up options are running out fast, I notice that Tapu and Luma are double-bolters. So Luma agrees to move in, Tapu rolls a want to move out, and I decide to let him.

Starting a household of his own, Tapu takes the new last name Tuawha.

He and Luma take Miharo and Luna the kitten with them

and build a home on the other side of the island.
