TLDR; ANNOUNCEMENT: Next update (Ep. 13) on 4th of February 2024.

Hey there everyone! Thank you for watching and for all the support you guys give through likes and comments. I really really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, ya girl is doing her bachelor's simultaneously while subbing these episodes and Jan, Feb and March are going to be quite busy for me. I know a 25 minute episode doesn't seem that long but when you're translating, it takes a hell lot of time haha~

So, what I'm asking for is your understanding to the fact that the schedule's gonna be off for this short while. Normally, I update every 2 weeks but this time, Ep. 13 will be uploaded on 4th February instead of the expected 21st Jan. I will be trying to make sure that the following episodes would be done in the usual timeframe but I can't make any promises because college and exams will be taking up a lot of my time.

I only ask for your understanding and continued support 🙇🏻‍♀️ I'm not dropping the show, I'm not taking a break either – the episodes are simply going to take longer to come out. That's all! Thank you so much for everything ♡

Hey, I saw your post about idaten jump on this small fandom page. You offered to translate an italian dub and transcribe it, if someone could edit it and make a subtitle. I would more than love to make the english subtitles, if you could be kind enough to give me the transcription. thanks

There was actually a copyright issue and my videos got blocked in a lot of places, including my own country ⊙⁠﹏⁠⊙ But now YT says that it's only blocked in China and Japan so I think it's safe to upload? In any case, everyone, save the videos if you can! I have my own back-ups but I'm not very good at all this other stuff. I don't want to get in trouble, I just want to translate and enjoy Idaten Jump with everyone! ㅠㅇㅠ

Can you believe we're done with 13 out of 52 eps? That's a quarter of the story! I really never thought I'd reach till this point; if you had asked me about this a year ago, I would have laughed in your face. hey my fellow Idaten Jump enjoyers!! I just wanted to make a quick post letting y'all know that I'll be posting all the episodes on the Internet Archive as an extra back-up and also so that anyone with the memory space can download the episodes if they want to!

The 17 episodes so far have already been put up by me, and you can just search "Idaten Jump" or "yayakoishii" in the search bar and it should appear.

(the above is the link to the 1st episode, and you only need to substitute the number to the episode number you want; for eg, if I want to download/watch ep. 13, the link for it would be: https://archive.org/details/idaten-jump-ep-13-eng-sub )

Like I said, so far, the 17 episodes I've translated are all up. I will drop by there once a month or so from now on to archive the newer eps as I translate and put them up on YouTube.

I hope that through this, we can ensure the survival of the translations/subbed episodes even if (god forbid) I ever get copyright striked on YouTube (⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠;⁠)

Also, fair warning to those contemplating downloading the episodes: each episode is roughly around 372 mb... A quick calculation tells me that all 52 eps would then amount almost upto 20 GB. Do with this information what you will <3

Hey! Just wanted to ask, in the event that your YouTube uploads are taken down, will you do a release of the individual subtitle files as SRT files or something? Hugely appreciate the work you're doing to preserve the viewability of this series for wider audiences!

Heyy!! First of all, I'm praying that never happens because my account would be boomed and I would never be able to upload anything ever again 💀

As for your question, so the problem is that I edit in the subs as text in a video editing app. I tried to look up subtitle making apps but couldn't find proper ones?? I don't remember it well now (it was months ago) but there was some problem so the subs are actually not in any subtitle files. They are burned into the video.

I would totally recommend downloading the eps from *ahem*not-so-legal*ahem* sites in such a situation because I don't have any srt files to share in the event if this occurs; I really really hope it never happens. That would be for the best 🥹
