-Finds you so cute and adorable. Can’t ever keep his hands off you. He must have you. You had to be his woman.

-Will actually bring you out in public with him. But if you try to call him out or escape, he’ll make you seem crazy, thus garnering support—quite the opposite effect you’d hope for.

He decided then that he needed you—he could take out all his frustration on you. After all, seeing all the gore and sin that he did was bound to get to him.

Yugyeom

-Was an emotionally unstable patient at a psychiatric hospital.

-You were his Psychiatrist and primary physician.

-He fell in love with you because of your maternal-like personality and gestures of kindness.

-He crafted a master plan in order to snatch you away from the hospital and keep you hidden away in an abandoned mansion

-Threatens to kill himself anytime you try to escape or misbehave

-Has manipulated you so far by threatening you with double suicide if you don’t comply.

Youngjae

-Actually seemed pretty normal and harmless at first. That was your first mistake.

-He has the worst temper and is the most obsessive man under the guise of those cute cheeks.

-Will straight up lock you in his apartment for weeks on end when he gets “probable cause”

-You used to walk his dogs when he went out for work in the daytime.

-He asked you out on a date, and for three months, you were the happiest couple.

-Then the switch came. You stared at the waiter too long at his favorite restaurant, and he lost it.

-You didn’t leave his bedroom until a week later.

-He calls your dogs your “kids” and will manipulate you into thinking the dogs are really against you. . .

-And they are. He has trained Coco to bark non-stop if you get within ten feet of the door.

-Has shattered your phone on multiple occasions and gets furious if you get any messages while he is next to you

-Sometimes forgets how cruel he really is. Doesn’t remember punishing you for weeks on end. It’s like his mind completely wipes the bad memories from his mind.

a/n ∣ nervous, fidgety Hyeseon. This is her first public appearance. Mention of The Bloody Roses. Italics means they are speaking English, while bold+italic means they are speaking in Thai, someone bringing Hyeseon down with mean words.

“Hurry! Hurry!” The bodyguard pushed Hyeseon in as she was busy answering text messages from her own friends and family - earning an irritated frown from the girl, looking up from her phone to the bodyguard.

“Yo, chill! Calm down! We have time!” Hyeseon whines slightly towards the older woman, earning a slight gasp from her.

“Calm down!? Calm down!? We are late for 1 minute! C’mon!”

“It’s just a minute... “ Hyeseon muttered under her breath, following the new bodyguard who was rushing. She then stood in front of the waiting room - looking at Hyeseon with a smile, a fake one.

“She’s all yours!” Hyejung informed - patting the young one on the shoulder as she left Hyeseon all alone.

“Damn, I miss The Bloody Roses.”

“Me too.”

Hyeseon’s eyes went wide, turning towards the room to see half of the members sitting down on the sofas while the other half were getting their make-up done.

She sighed while going towards the one who replied to her with a hug, the one and only Bambam.

“We miss them too, especially my girlfriend.” Bambam voiced out as soon as Hyeseon pulled back as she began hugging the other members.

“Aww, that’s cute! I just met up with Nara for a catch-up session, she looks cheerful as always,”

Hyeseon smiled cheekily while looking towards Bambam who was getting his make-up done next. She could see Bambam’s ears getting red, causing Hyeseon to laugh.

“Hey! Don’t forget we are here, you know.” Jinyoung pointed out while looking offended that they were speaking in another language where they couldn’t understand fully.

Hyeseon shrugged while looking towards Jinyoung, making him playfully tell her off to Jaebeom who was just cooing at the whiny Jinyoung.

“I was talking about a specific group of girls that I missed,” Hyeseon voiced out and that’s when all of the members of Got7’s head turned towards her - even Mark and Jackson who were on the phone.

There was a visible pout from Jackson, making Hyeseon run towards him - hugging his side.

“I think we all missed them too,” Youngjae commented while feeling the grip on Hyeseon’s waist tighten, knowing Jackson’s hands are on her waist.

“Let’s not be sad and sentimental! It’s Hyeseon’s first public appearance! We should be happy for her!” Yugyeom, who had been quiet, jumped up from his seat as he was grinning towards Hyeseon’s way.

That’s when Hyeseon started to feel nervous - it was gone previously since they were talking about a different topic.

Hyeseon was really nervous the moment she stepped into the car where one of the Ace of Devil’s members took her to the location where the online fan-sign meeting was located.

The bodyguard was no help at all since she didn’t speak a word to Hyesoen in the car, it was as if she was a wall so she decided to contact the girls that she has been close to.

They had a group chat together - specifically for only Hyeseon and The Bloody Roses. The moment she sent out a ‘I’m nervous!’, and in just less than a minute she received numerous replies from different girls.

“I’m actually nervous,” Hyeseon let out her true feelings, earning fatherly smiles from the other members. They know how it feels like, it somehow brings them back to their first appearance.

“You’re gonna do great, Hyeseon! Don’t worry and follow Jaebeom hyung’s lead!” Jackson smiled softly towards Hyeseon while gesturing towards Jaebeom - who was already calling her to sit next to the leader.

Of course Hyeseon went towards him, sitting in the middle of Mark and Jaebeom.

“Any worries lately?” Jaebeom questioned and Hyeseon tilted her head slightly - thinking what she had felt. Well, other than being happy and tired from dance practices and keeping her body in a good shape, she’s fine.

“I think I’m good. I’m just nervous, because this is my first appearance. I’m scared if I had said anything unintentionally or words that could hurt the fans. You know me,” Hyeseon ranted out and throughout, Jaebeom was putting her words on his brain - finding words to calm the girl down.

“Hyeseon-ah. Listen to me, okay? You are going to be fine. You have been attending practices, acting classes, and professionalism classes and they said you are progressing rather well. Don’t worry much and try not to overthink because I personally think you are going to do fine,” Jaebeom advised calmly yet he was firm.

Hyeseon sighed - a sigh to let out that heavy feeling from her chest while nodding. She then let out a smile towards Jaebeom, a smile that Jaebeom knows where she is going to make it through this.

“That’s our girl,” Jaebeom ruffled her hair.

A few minutes later, Jaeebeom was next to do his make-up so Youngjae took a seat next to her.

“Jaebeom hyung is right you know. You’re gonna do great! Fighting!” Youngjae cheered while letting out his iconic laugh, causing Hyeseon to chuckle too hearing how awkward his laugh is.

“Hey, Hyeseon! Play among us with me! I’m short of one person!” Mark suddenly nudged onto her hand - he who has been quiet since the start knowing he was playing a game or texting his girlfriend.

Hyeseon of course joins in and in just 10 minutes, the game is about to end.

“Jaebeom’s right you know, you’re gonna do fine. Trust him, us. I know it is nerve-wracking when you step in but once you stepped out, trust me you’re gonna be wanting to go back,” Mark voiced out while finishing the game and that’s when Hyeseon looked up towards Mark with a smile.

Mark is a man of few words. He only spoke only in relevant times so this is something that Hyeseon has to keep in her mind - his words.

“Noona! It’s your turn!” Yugyeom called Hyeseon and that’s when she decided to put her nervous feeling aside with a smile.

The Got7 members were laughing and giggling towards Hyeseon as she was basically ranting towards the younger ones.

“I was so confused! I can’t believe I lost when I am able to understand and speak Thai!” Hyeseon whines towards Bambam who was laughing his heart out - even the fans were laughing towards Hyeseon, she was basically a crackhead like Bambam.

“So now we know you are a replica of Bambam… that means I have to watch out for you too,” Jinyoung folded his arms while shaking his head - jokingly kind of disappointed that Hyeseon is as loud as Bambam.

“Yay! That makes it even for the maknae line!” Yugyeom had his arms on Hyeseon’s shoulder on her other side while Bambam’s arms were on Hyeseon’s opposite side.

The older members could only shake their head with a sigh - knowing they are gonna be a trio soon.

“But, you got to admit that you had fun right?”Jaebeom questioned as he turned towards her and that's when the maknaes let go of Hyeseon - knowing that it was a conversation between the leader and the only girl member, they always knew those 2 would end up with a serious conversation.

“You were right, Mark was right too - everyone is right. It was fun, Ahgases are fun to be with.” Hyeseon confessed with a shy smile, earning a chuckle from Jaebeom as they were walking side-by-side.

But their foot-steps instantly stopped when they heard voices, kind of angry and pissed voices in their waiting room.

“What the heck was that!? Are you making a fool out of yourself?!”

Hyeseon gulped while turning towards Jaebeom who was an expressionless face - he definitely knew who it was since he decided to show himself in front of the door.

“We were being our own selves. We didn’t do no harm and the fans enjoyed it.” Jaebeom voiced out. Being the curious Hyeseon, she peeked slightly from Jaebeom broad back to see the leader of Ace of Devils basically looking mad.

“Being your own selves?! You’re joking aren’t you?”

“I’m not laughing though,” Jaebeom answered firmly. Hyeseon didn’t even dare to look at the woman since she was basically looking straight towards Hyeseon.

Hyeseon frowns slightly, her eyes went downcast - she has to speak to the management about this, her group is being mistreated by these new bodyguards and she could tell her own members were unhappy about it.

“Hyeseon-ah,” The leader of A.O.D, Aelia called - making Hyeseon to look up towards her.

“Do you think you are fit to be an idol? Because personally, I don’t think you fit to be one,” Her words were like venom to Hyeseon’s ears and somehow her heart somehow beats as twice as normal.

“Hey, that’s not nice.” Jackson voiced out with a frown.

“Jackson hyung is right. You are no one to speak towards her that way. I demand an apology from you,” Jinyoung added and he was about to take a step forward when Mark got a hold of him.

“He’s right you know. You’re no one. So apologize to her,”

A voice made Hyeseon startled since it came just directly beside her - seeing someone who she is familiar with. It was Eunhee from The Bloody Roses who looked as professional as ever - causing Hyeseon to jump towards her.

That was the moment when Jaebeom felt relief, someone who had the same rank as the one who was looking down at her own member.

“I’ll talk to you personally later, Hyeseon. You too Jaebeom.” Eunhee stated while ruffling Hyeseon’s hair then patting Jaebeom’s back as she walked passed them.

“You’re not supposed to be here, Eunhee. Do you need me—

“I’m here to have a word with you, then I’ll have a private meeting with Got7.” Eunhee folded her arms as she stood in front of Aelia.

“And I got official instructions from JYPE that I will be taking them to their next location so, after we’re done talking, you are good to go.” Eunhee added and Aelia was about to cut her off but Eunhee had already turned her back towards the stunned girl.

“Oh! And you might want to apologize to Violet before I would personally break your neck.” Eunhee snapped towards Aelia, seeing her eyes went wide - also earning reactions from Got7, a funny one.

“That’s what bullies get from bullying an innocent human being.”

They start kissing and she says something like “i never done that before” and he smiles at her and goes “it’s okay Hal me neither” and they do it like in the movie so it’s sweet and cute

Rossi: beginning Sophomore in high school Okay i belive Rossi was a real playboy so his first time was with this girl from his Algebra class she went studying at his house and one thing lead to another they were doing it on the couch; she talked to him the next day but they both agree they didn’t want anything too serious

rules: jot down your top five bl dramas / series that have made their way into your heart and five honorable mentions you would recommend to newcomers. tag ten users you think would like this game.

to be honest, this is really just going to be a top 10, because all these shows and the actors in them are my babies and i feel bad pitting them against each other (cause i’m weak)

top favorites

1 - love by chance

this is the drama that got my love for thai bl started. i was in such a dark, sad place when i first found lbc, and it really pulled me out of it. i will always be thankful for that. there are obviously parts of this show that i absolutely detest and wish weren’t in it, but putting those aside, this show has my whole heart. ae and pete were the first gay couple in media that i saw that made me think “these two could actually be real.” they have such a sweet, wholesome, realistic relationship that brings me nothing but joy. every time i go back to watch this show, i feel the same things i felt the first time i watched it.

2 - until we meet again

a recent show but an amazing one. i have nothing but good things to say about this show. for one, it’s got a fantastic plot, two, the cast is probably my favorite bl cast ever. and three - the most important thing - deanpharm. i adore these two more than i could ever say. they are so healthy and good and perfect in every way. as with aepete, they’re so realistic to me. every scene with the two of them feels so authentic. not to mention they’re sweet as sugar, and i live for that in my ships. i was crushed when this show ended, and i go back and rewatch scenes constantly because i love it so much.

in no particular order

3 - theory of love

this show stars the kings offgun, so of course it’s on my list. the entire concept of this show is so cool. i love how every episode is named after a different movie, and the film theme is kept throughout the entire show. also the switch from third’s point of view to khai’s point of view halfway through the series was a really interesting, different take that i don’t think i’ve ever seen in any other show. the character development? *chef’s kiss* gun’s crying gets high honors, because god damn, that boy must have been dehydrated. also, offgun redemption kiss. that victory was so sweet.

4 - 2moons2

if you know me, you know i adore this show, but more importantly, the cast. those six boys are what really make this show as good as it is. the fact that they all came in as new actors still astounds me. but putting them aside, i just love how soft and sweet this show is. if i need a pick me up, this is my go to. there are moments from all three couples that give me all the warm feelies in my heart. i am so so so excited for 2moons3, i literally can’t wait much longer.

5 - dark blue kiss

is this a surprise, coming from my polca ass? didn’t think so. first things first: TAYNEW. now that that’s out of the way, pete and kao make me so happy. despite the obvious flaws in this show (looking at you, non), the two of them really showed what it’s like to be not only a long term gay couple, but also the struggles of figuring out how to come out. that entire scene by the pool where they were discussing why they have to prove themselves more because of their sexuality? that HIT ME in my SOUL. oh, and don’t even get me started on that anniversary scene. i also love morksun torturing rain with their love by jumping into his bed every night. if you look past the bad parts of this show (again, LOOKING AT YOU, NON), it’s very sweet and incredibly real at times.

6 - he’s coming to me

talk about underrated but amazing. well, how could it not be, with the king himself, singto prachaya, as the lead. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: he’s coming to me was a straight show made for a gay couple. what i mean by that is that the plot isn’t focused on the relationship. instead, it’s focused on something broader with a relationship added in, which is something more straight couples are given than gay couples. and what a wonderful relationship it is. mes and thun are so cute and yet so emotional too. one minute, they’re acting a fool and the next they’re crying to each other. for every fun scene this show has, there’s one that breaks your heart (in the best way). that coming out scene made me literally sob, it was so fantastic. not as many people have seen this one, but they SHOULD.

7 - sotus

an absolute classic. ignoring some of the drama that comes along with this show, i really like it. the plot is really interesting, and i love the large cast of characters. the episode where all the freshmen get there gears? when the hazers ask if they can be their seniors? talk about water works, because i bawled. again, the king himself, singto prachaya, is in this so. that obviously gives it some points. it’s just a really good starter bl.

8 - great men academy

p’tangmooooo. god, i can’t, i love these boys. this came out at the height of me trying to watch every thai bl possible in the shortest amount of time. and watching it was such a treat. the cast, oh my god. amazing, fantastic, phenomenal, iconic. tangmolove is so adorable. james, PLEASE come back to acting so we can get a season two where we see the two of them as a couple. i need it so bad. i wish this show was more available to international viewers, because it’s so great, pretty short, and just such a fun watch.

9 - history3: make our days count

...okay so what we’re going to do is ignore the last episode and say that hao ting and xi gu lived happily ever after. okay? okay. moving on from that, my heART. sometimes, shows don’t need to have big, intense plots. sweet, romantic shows are just as nice. and oh my god, does this show tick off the sweet box. every episode had my heart aching by the end, because hao ting and xi gu were so sweet. it’s just a nice story about two young boys learning how to navigate a relationship. hao ting is so whipped for xi gu too, which is always a plus. his little munching he does at him? he’s a certified puppy.

10 - our skyy

some people will say this doesn’t count, but i say it does! and besides, i’m pretty sure i’ve rewatched all 5 episodes more times than any of these other series combined. i just love the premise. taking 5 couples we already know and love and giving us more of them? genius. each episode is so cute in their own way, and i wish that they would make a second season. maybe more episodes so we can have the couples from the first with some new ones too? that would be my dream. if you’ve watched any of the shows that precede our skyy, i highly recommend checking out that couples’ episode!

axelle judges bl shows > Theory of Love

/!\ SPOILERS AHEAD.

shitty summary: Third has been in love with his best friend, Khai for three years. Only problem: Khai is a player, and refuses to date friends. Third must navigate his feelings and Khai’s oblivion in order to get over him, though everything doesn’t go according to plan.

grade: 9/10

pros:

- good cinematography. while some episodes were better in terms of shots and filming style, this is a step up from other bl shows

- the acting. Off in particular really shines in this show. I mean Gun as well, it’s my favorite role of his, but it was to be expected. Off really gets his chance to prove himself in this show and he honestly took the bull by the horns. He created one of my favorite characters ever who is well-rounded and flawed but also excelled in both comedic and dramatic scenes. truly great, and I hope to see Off in other shows because I’m a stan now

- the characters. every single one of them is incredible. I’ve obviously got my favorite, Khai, who’s the cheesiest bitch who has ever lived, but I still love Third, my sassy son, Two, the most supportive friend to have ever existed, Bone, the token straight of the show, and Un, the most caring man on earth.

- the story. I feel like it’s a story most people will be able to relate to. almost everyone has had a one-sided crush in their lives, most of us on a friend. it was really refreshing to actually be able to relate to the characters I was watching on the screen

- similar to that, I feel like this show really stands out from the others in the bl world. it doesn’t really have much fanservice, or at least it starts in the last third of the series, and it just doesn’t feel like fanservice compared to other shows. it just feels different, in a good way, not like ‘look! there’s two guys being cute!’ but focusing more on the friends to lovers aspect. it feels more mature

- you can tell the entire cast and crew really cared about the show they were making, which is incredibly rare. everything is really well-rounded and well done and it just feels like an actual good show, even without the ships, compared to some other shows that are amazing solely because their ships are great

- the movies references are just really pleasant. again, it participates to give the show its own identity which really sets it apart from the 1083387 thai show that are about high school boys in uniforms

- both KhaiThird (the main couple) and UnTwo (the secondary couple) are incredibly well-written and get the happy ending they deserve

- the lack of homophobia. nobody bats an eye when Khai the great lady seducer shows interest in a boy, and the internal conflict between the characters has nothing to do with their sexuality, which is very refreshing.

cons:

- I feel like the show’s last two episodes weren’t as good as the rest of the show. in episode 11, the whole fake cheating storyline was just unnecessary and we coud’ve done without the drama because we’ve had plenty up to that episode. in ep 12, we don’t get to see Khai and Third’s as boyfriends in the beginning stages of their relationship, we only get to see them 4 years later which bothered me because I feel like we could’ve done without the time jump.

- UnToo is highkey so good they deserve their own series, though they manage to be iconic and one of my favorite ships ever with the short screentime they have

would I rewatch it: yes

Overall Theory of Love is in my top 3 favorite bl shows. It’s really incredible and without a doubt the best thai bl show so far. I’m incredibly grateful for this show and I truly appreciate the cast.

Chris Ngimbi Looking To Kickstart His Run To ONE Super Series Gold

Dutch-Congolese kickboxing ace Chris Ngimbi returns to ONE Super Series looking to register his first win in ONE Championship’s all-striking league.

The 34-year-old, who has a record of 49-21, returns to action at ONE: REIGN OF KINGS in Manila, the Philippines where he will face Armen Petrosyan, brother of the great Giorgio Petrosyan in a kickboxing contest.

Ngimbi was so impressed with the organization during his debut, he cannot wait to be a part of it again.

“I think ONE is a couple of steps ahead,” he says.

“I see all the champions that ONE is bringing into the organisation. They are all high-level athletes. It is very competitive for all of us, and it will keep me motivated.

“The well-being and the health of the athletes is very important to them too. After all these years, I still managed to find some new good things about the sport. ONE has really distinguished themselves from any other organisation that I know.”

The level of competition is as good as you’ll find anywhere on the planet, as evidenced by Ngimbi’s debut, when the two-time Muay Thai world champion faced one of the sport’s elite in the form of Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS.

Ngimbi battled toe to toe with the legendary multiple world champion, but fell short on the scorecards, losing out by unanimous decision after an entertaining bout.

Following that defeat, Ngimbi jumped straight back into the gym to sharpen his skills ahead of a return to ONE Super Series.

“I am much more fit now,” he reveals.

“I picked up where I left off with training, and I am very confident that I can achieve a different result in what should be a great fight.”

Ngimbi will also head into the contest feeling like he has been in there with Petrosyan before. Indeed, he’s faced Armen’s brother Giorgio twice – going the distance with the Italian kickboxing icon on both occasions. The second of those meetings came only nine months ago.

And he hopes he’ll be able to use his experience form those meetings to help him prevail against “The Doctor’s” younger brother.

“He is very technical like his brother, and I see him moving like Giorgio, but I am not sure he can take the same pressure his brother can handle,” he says.

“I will keep putting that pressure on him to try and eliminate his technical ability so I can get the victory.”

After losing out, despite a fantastic performance, in his ONE Super Series debut, Ngimbi is determined to make amends second time around to kickstart his run towards a World Title.

“I need this,” he says.

“I might have lost the fight against Yodsanklai, but I still felt good, and I am confident I belong here.

“We need the win to make sure we can set up goals a little bit higher. As an athlete, you are always looking to achieve the highest goal there is, and I want a title shot, so we need a win first to take a step in the right direction.”
