Even after he has to put on glasses Ice doesn't stop recognising when Mav is around. He maybe can't see him all that clearly when he doesn't have them on but if Mav is around, moving or being still (and that's something extremely rare), Ice knows he's there. It's the way Mav walks, the sound his horrible boots do and the way his steps are always a little slower after a day of work but they almost sound excited to be almost home. Mav thinks he should stop drinking everything Slider offers him and Ice laughs, takes away his glasses and enjoys the sound of Mav moving, breathing, living, around him.

i was being deliberately vague the other day but now i don’t care, i’m so stressed out bc i’m trying to get better but we just got an eviction notice to be out by the end of the month and none of my stuff at home is packed and there’s no places for a decent price available in ohio that don’t have fucking stairs and i can’t do anything from here and i’m not having a very good day. life is truly awful rn and i need a hug and like. a winning lottery ticket or something

Physical therapy is kicking my ASS but it feels so good to bend my knee again even if it is just 10 minutes a day outside the clinic. I'm just glad I can do it all by myself. Something something it has to get worse before it gets better I guess.

#delete later #i wanted to do more cosplay prop work today but ive had to rest my hand #been icing it and downing ibuprofen and its definitely better than this morning. i can bend it just past 90° but going to a fist #still not doing. somethjng is inflamed in there and keeping it from bending fully. figured out it wasnt the actual jount popping #out but just the tendon popping out of place for a second bc of the inflammation #so thats probably good #its been niggly painful but this kinda pain im not too bad with. as long as i use my other hand for a lot of stuff im fine #should be mostly chill bt tomorrow and defo fine by monday #the skin i ripped off with trans tape is also healing quick so reapplying it tomorrow should be good. abd i bought removal stuff #so i dont get frustrated abd just pull it off #knee is actually not too bad. its achey and bad in the mornings but im not limping too bad and can stand for a bit so that's a win #overall: body is breaking but i guess its fine
