Can I ask you what program do you use for the animatic? And can you recommend any good program for practice? (I never used any of these programs, and they look pretty hard, so I don't want to pay yet for one, but I want to make something :c)

Hello! This might be a bit long but I hope I can help you with this (I'm holding your hand because this is also my first time doing an animatic so I have no idea on what kind of good pipeline there is to follow...) I apologize in advance if this won't be the most helpful answer :,))

okay so for the software. I use the ipad for most of my work nowadays... unfortunately, both apps that I use are paid—RoughAnimator and Procreate. I'll walk you down with how I do it. It is not the most efficient way but here's how it goes for me... :,))

Storyboard

I think the most important thing for planning something like this is having a clear vision of what you want to see. I started this animatic by brainstorming in my storyboards what I want to see in timing with the song and its lyrics. Here's an example of what I previously shared... [disclaimer: I did not follow the template so yeah, feel free to ignore the kanji characters]

you can see the outline I roughly made to tell myself what scene I want to show to what lyrics (I got lazy to write the whole lyrics down lol) and also added some notes like the movement of the character and camera pans etc.

here are the corresponding drawings to it (sorry if the quality is bad, I just screenshotted this from my gallery ><;;)

Drawing the Cuts

All of the drawings are done on Procreate. I use this software for most of my drawings now, mostly because I like the texture of the brushes there. At this point, I am not worrying about timing these drawings to the music yet but I am reassured since I already made my guide of that in the storyboards. Procreate also has an animation feature that helped me draw the breathing sequence.

Compiling and Timing the Drawings

Once I've saved my drawings to my photos, I move them to RoughAnimator. Here is where I time the drawings with the song. What I like about RoughAnimator is that it has its own drawing tools (I don't really like the brushes tho... hence, me using Procreate instead), it has a camera tool that allows me to pan across my drawings and also shows the sound wave thingy of the song that helps me with timing. It also allows me to easily adjust the exposure or how long a drawing flashes on the screen at my chosen framerate.

I would sometimes be unsatisfied with my initial drawings, leading to me going back and forth between Procreate and RoughAnimator to revise stuff. (which in my opinion is not efficient but I can't really think of any other way to do this...)

So yes. That's pretty much how I'm working with it so far. I am currently stuck because both Procreate and RoughAnimator have very limited features when it comes to panning images... I'm still figuring out how to do that but I'm thinking of moving to video editors for these kinds of stuff instead of relying on RoughAnimator...

I hope you aren't discouraged by this,, I know it isn't the best solution... If you are to follow this kind of workflow, I think a good combination of any drawing software (hopefully with an animation feature) and a reliable video editor to time it to the music (I recommend finding ones with camera pan and motion tween features) is sufficient enough for this.

If you're using an ipad like me, iArtbook is a good free alternative to Procreate with a good animation feature. I have yet to check it out properly but Filmora or Capcut might be a good video editor... If you're using a desktop, I think Krita is good for drawing and animating!

I'm so sorry again if this wasn't really helpful. I will definitely share it if I were to find a better workflow for this. If you'd like to have some storyboard templates, here are some I found on the internet!

hello! i'm here from elliott's post about film class, you replied to her and i found out that you have a double major of film studies and psych. anyway, i scrolled through your blog and i think you are quite passionate and really knowledgeable about your major, and i'm not lmao (i'm a multimedia arts student, but i want to be like a film director someday). hence, i'm here to get inspiration and advices from. i actually already saved the books you recommended though!

i'm going to take a film language class this coming sem, and i feel anxious about it (+ the fact that i'm a beginner in every medium of art/media makes me feel out of place and undeserving of being in this major lol). i started advanced studying with Crash Course's free film history course, but i just feel lost, i don't know what to do. i feel like i should be studying 60mph because i can't keep up with anyone.

my school does not really do examinations right after every semester, even quizzes are non-existent. i don't have a classmate or friend that i can ask these questions because they have other interests that do not interest me. that's why i find it hard to understand anything. i'm currently at the burnt-out stage so perhaps the reason why i am so naive. but any advice will really help. thank you :((

i really respect your dedication/the fact that you're trying to study before the class even starts, but like . if it's an intro-level course, you're gonna be ok !! TONS of people take FS courses as optional arts credits/"for interest", it's typically expected that you're not going to know everything. as long as you have the right prerequisites for the course, you should be doing ok! if it turns out your prof sucks (like elliott's) you can brush up on the rest as you go ♥️ :-0

like ...... if you're already dealing with burnout, studying super hard ahead of time is gonna make you feel even worse. & yknow ....... if it's really bad in the first week, just drop out tbh 🤷 some courses ain't worth it

in terms of exams: i'd say about half of my film studies classes have been essay-based rather than quiz/midterm/final exam-based, idk how your school works though

as for feeling 'undeserving' of your major ...... i can't really help you there, but you should know that imposter syndrome is super common in every single discipline and at any college/uni, especially in the fine arts side of things — but you're ok !! like !!! if you were a pro at everything already, school would suck ass. i hope u can get over this fear and better enjoy learning new things, cuz that's really what postsecondary is all about ♥️ it's ok to be naive, especially in subjects the average person knows jack shit about.

the path to becoming a director is ....arduous.... and typically requires training within the industry and/or a degree specifically in film production (which is different than the 'scholarly' branch of film studies) but if it's what you really want, go for it. put your heart into it, yknow, do whatever it is that makes you feel like you're doing something important. YOLO

it can be tough when your friends don't Get your interests, i'm here to chat anytime if you like tho !! film studies is basically my favourite thing on earth :'-)

also i saw u asked elliott abt notetaking ...... i use OneNote & i love it, it's great cause it puts your notes in The Cloud and you can access them from any device. super user-friendly and has drawing, highlighting, font changing functions, you can insert PDFs as printouts ....... i hate carrying my 5lb laptop to campus (and it doesn't fit on the little desk trays in my lecture halls anyways. fml) so i just have an iPad loaded up w OneNote and i'm set :-) i take some of my notes by hand but only for English/Writing/CMPUT classes lol, my FS and Psych classes go way too fast to keep up

updates

halloween was fun! we went to lin lin's friends house again. i dressed up as aang and nathan was appa. i thrifted my whole outfit! it was super cute and i got a lot of compliments from people saying they liked my costume.

i didn't drink too much at the party so i felt good the whole time. and i played a lot of beer pong! nathan and i won like 3 games, i played a game with a guy in a fairy costume and we won, and we lost when playing liz and this random guy at the party dressed up as the professor from power puff girls. he was carrying a bottle of chemical x which was just hennesy. barf

im glad we went tho. i was feeling a little stressed about the outfit and paying for the ubers there but it all worked out well.

i've also been hanging out with more school friends. i ate brunch with sophia and christina at town and country. but it was so healthy there. i wouldnt go back lol. i just got a latte bc it was a vegan restaurant. dont trick me with your fake chorizo!

i also went to the w basketball preseason scrimmage with sophia and saw a bunch of people there.

and my fav part was probs doing hot pot at home with nathan, mai, and jenn. i originally was just gonna hang with jenn and order in food. but nathan got a bunch of hot pot ingredients! so we all stood around our tall table bc we only have 2 chairs lol. and we did hot pot. it was really good! and it was fun chatting with mai and jenn. mai left earlier to get ready for a halloween party on campus. jenn and i were supposed to do some painting but we ended up just chatting instead. and later that night we saw jimmy o yang! it was a really good show. this night was probs the highlight of my halloween week and it wasn't even really halloween related. just fun times with friends and good food and a free date night with nathan.

ive been working on doing scholar rx and anki lately. i updated my add ons so it's more fun with killstreaks and a heat map for what days/how much i worked on anki. it's def motivating. im realizing that i remember things better when i write them out on my ipad. it takes longer but def helps it stick in my memory when i know the spelling of the word.

i think i've always done this but now it's more clear. but if i can see the spelling of the word in my head then i can remember and pronounce it better. it feels like im reading subtitles in my brain. and if i dont know how to spell a word, then it's really low odds that i'm gonna remember that word or pronounce it correctly. i find that it happens a lot with words in different languages or medical terms. if i only have an auditory intro to the word then it's easy for me to get the sounds of the word mixed up. but once i see the spelling and break down the word into easier chunks, then i can use that word more effectively and apply it. but the thing is that im an awful speller. im good at reading but not spelling. it used to drive mom and dad crazy bc i really loved reading and would do it a lot. but i couldnt spell for shit and was always making errors when i wrote myself. there's something about seeing the word in front of me vs in my head that makes it stick.

i feel like ive accomplished a lot of the goals that i set for myself lately and now i want to do more.

what im proud of accomplishing:

sewed my prom dress

went to prom and had fun

made my halloween costume

went to halloween party and had fun

lots of quality time with friends

finished scholar rx bricks for derm

working on anki consistently

read some books

attended some writing workshops for aya even tho i was uncomfy and didn't like feeling vulnerable. i cried.

attended the self love workshop

what i want to work towards:

work out - walking, playing basketball, anything really. ive been very stagnant and it takes a lot for me to get out of the house. once im out it's easy for me to continue being active. but if im already inside, then i wont make the effort to be active. but my step count in oct was lower than sept so i wanna keep staying active. GOAL: at least 5k steps 3 days a week.

care for dry skin - find solution for dry skin over top lip

wake up earlier, dont just stay up all night and sleep in all day

if nathan is home then seek alone time outside of the house

i actually talked about hcs on nxx team typing habits here (or well, more of me talking about how marius and luke are fighting to have made the best autocorrect and artem types with his fingers on the homerow)!!!

buuut i still do wanna say some more. not necessarily differing from what we see in canon but just like....

my observations on canon nxx team typing/texting styles and behaviors within the nxx gc

wc: 1.1k words about words

vyn richter isnt texting, he's writing memorandums

texts like hes writing with a quill and parchment, like hes writing MISSIVES TO SEND OFF INTO THE VALLEY OF YONDER.

in terms of vocabulary (he's used the word "posthaste" and the sentence "I also lack such leisure" sounds like it came from a black and white photograph) hes slightly archaic.

and his sentence construction ("A name that rings familiar", vyn, it's a TEXT, why do you sound like a yellowed note found in a haunted house) like, vyn texts as if he's a fucking lovelorn maiden sending letters off to his lover who is fighting in the war

HE REFUSES TO USE CONTRACTIONS AND IT DRIVES ME NUTS. vyn richter says FUCK UR APOSTROPHES!!! it must be Should Not (not shouldnt) must be I Will (not i'll). apostrophes found dead in a ditch and vyn richter killed them all.

the reason why im getting "My Dearest Rose, My Most Beloved Lover, When Shall You Return To Me?" kinda shtick from vyn is because his word choice seems to be chosen for aesthetics and vibes, his sentence construction does not scream utility but instead screams DRAMA, the lack of contractions betrays the writer's desire for the reader to SAVOR EACH WORD. vyn could just text "I don't have that kind of time" or "That's familiar" but he wont because that lacks the PANACHE he so desperately maintains in almost every aspect of his gosh dang self.

(sidenote: im so sorry for his students, lol???? most profs ive encountered write rlly short and to the point emails and usually it ends with "Sent from my Ipad" because profs rarely give a fuck about looking smart in emails. but dr. vyn richter...the emails he'll be sending will be...an experience lmao)

although he HAS been noted to say "Heh" in chat. i wouldnt put it past him to type a "Hehe" if he's feeling particularly mischievous (or if he REALLY wants to unnerve others). in the nxx gc, he's not above engaging in some squabbles against the others (but in his defense, marius is always starting it, haha) but generally he's civil, tho he is VERY CAPABLE of passive aggression. vyn's Off The Shits texts would be like "Respectfully, get fucked. Best regards," in a cursive font

overall: vyn texts gracefully to the point that he sounds like he shouldnt exist in the year 2030 but instead in an old regal portrait in a musuem.

artem wing texts like there's a job to be done and (he gets that job done)

texts EXTREMELY TO THE POINT. i dont notice anything special with his vocabulary or sentence structure; he uses ordinary words and puts them all together in efficient messages and he uses contractions when it's smoother to do so. what i DO notice though is that ALL his messages in the nxx gc (his personal texts r another matter) are the following: questions, answers, observations, and MC I'm Worried About You Please Stay Safe.

artem texts as a means for no nonsense information exchange which very much fits who he is as a whole!!! the conversation needs to move forward productively but he isnt immune to using a message to compliment mc or express one (1) feeling.

additionally, that one bit in the symphony of the night event chat where vyn and marius were throwing rocks at each other through texts and artem came in like "shut up" and then steered the convo back on track n just STEAMROLLING over vyn and marius trying to continue their insult hurling like KJBSJKGSDSSD. artem is really the mom friend of this group. hes like "Is This Necessary? No? Well Then Stop Talking About It."

overall: artem texts pragmatically and clearly and for a purpose. of all the boys, he's the one i personally would enjoy communicating with the most because i value clarity a LOT.

sidenote: however, i do think that artem, in his effort to find the most efficient sentence, sometimes does not realize connotations of words/phrases. so like at themis law firm, he's definitely sent the emails pictured below (can we get a prayer for the poor intern who got these emails? they had a heart attack....)

thankfully, marius von hagen and luke pearce are texting like normal people

im lumping these two together because theyre pretty similar on basically all strictly language fronts: vocabulary, sentence construction, contractions, punctuation (they both like using "!" and sometimes "!?", theyre so cute lol)

i do wanna note that marius does like going for the occasional onomatopoeia. "Tch", "Uh", "Ah" that kind of stuff. i like it a lot because it fits marius who is just so fucking noisy all the time HAHA.

in terms of behavior, theyre also p similar. though, marius is more likely to give in to his desire to be a bit of a shithead and go off topic. marius is also more likely to share his opinions and thoughts (and yeah theyre related to the case but compared to the rest of the boys, marius is rlly like "im sorry what, we have to go to a school??? STUDENTS R INVOLVED IN THE INTERNATIONAL CYBERCRIME????") which also fits because marius loves letting everybody know that hey! hes here! and him being here means he has STUFF TO SAY

luke is the CHILLEST PERSON in the gc, in terms of texting. he doesnt clash against the others, keeps the convo going, and is polite in a laid back way. the only time in the nxx gc i saw him experience some kind of intense emotion was when i made my mc go "but i can go to the abandoned server room on my own"

and then luke starts texting gravely as if HE AND EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE GC IS ABOUT TO FUCKING DIE. no chill on this dudes. theres either 0 stakes or ALL OF THEM to the highest degree. very much fits luke's tendency to be like "haha im having a wonderful time and im smiling and now ive spiraled into a ditch of despair and suffering and sadness"

sidenote: marius and luke's dms would be a fucking trip to read.

marius: You ever wanna talk about your feelings, Luke?

luke: No.

marius: I do.

luke: I know.

marius: I'm sad.

luke: I know.

marius, backpedaling: I'm not...actually sad, I was just saying that as a joke, haha, were you worried?

luke: You weren't though. And yeah, I am.

thank u for this ask!! character voices and thus character linguistics is a HUGE INTEREST OF MINE and so going thru the nxx gc with this framework was HUGELY FUN HAHA. i now have a handy dandy reference for myself when im writing these dudes' texting in fanfic hehe.

Hey, Lori. I have a kind of weird ask? It's maybe not so weird, but I'm nervous asking, lol! I'm a fellow writer (don't worry, I'm not asking for a collab or anything), and today I was writing and wanting to post. But something weird happens when I'm trying. I was writing and then after a short while the spacebar and punctuation wasn't processing. I tried copy and paste as well, but it acted like I didn't even do anything. Do you have this happening, or is it just me? Is it just a shit glitch?

I’ve never had this happen however weird things happen all the time on tumblr.

If you are typing into the tumblr app it’s probably usual tumblr shenanigans. Like I can’t post long stories in the app but I can use my iPads browser to open the desktop tumblr and post them there. I can edit the long asks in the app tho. But I can’t insert a new link in the browser desktop tumblr on my tablet so I have to go back to the app to edit and add a link. And when I edit a fic in the app, the title will suddenly drop down and into the main body of the text and I won’t have a title anymore so I have to go back to the browser to put it back up as the title.... these sorts of things are known errors I experience.

I would try the usual troubleshooting things. Charge your keyboard if it’s wireless. Use another browser. Use another device. Update the app. Restart everything. Try it on a pc.

Hi I'm so so glad you write ids for your art!! Would you consider putting them in the original post (and above the captions) to make them more accessible though? Putting ids in reblogs gives people the chance to ignore them when reblogging, and that makes the post as a whole less accessible. Also, this is just friendly advice, but adding humorous lines (like the "I'd steal it too" sentence of the comic with starfire's picolas cage shirt) isn't the best for ids, since they're supposed to be objective descriptions that provide equal access to people. That kind of comment is funny and totally fine to add on your own post, just hopefully not in your ids in the future! Thansk for listening, have a great day!

Hello!! Thanks so much for your message! I’ve been trying to keep up with doing IDs for my own stuff (since I can objectively describe my stuff more accurately than someone else lol) but I do admittedly get behind (the URGE to post art 3x a day so strong). The reason I have been doing so in reblogs on my main instead of on the original post is because I draw and use tumblr exclusively on mobile (phone app, draw on iPad, editing drafts from the app on the website a bitch bc sometimes entire paragraphs just DISAPPEAR even tho I CLICKED SAVE) and a read more isn’t an available option in the app. :/ amd my desc end up loooong bc I am anything but short winded and tend to post multiple drawings on one post or entire comics. so I typically do the IDs in big reblog groups when I can (unless the desc will be super short and doesn’t need a read more - come to think of it I have a few I should have added that to but I forgot, seeing privilege smh). I think I can do alt text on mobile, but I know that’s not a good option for screen readers. I figured reblogs would be okay since there are plenty of blogs already dedicated to reblogging and IDing undescribed posts, but I understand that that may make it harder for those using screen readers to find the ID version. HMMMMMM I WILL HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT. Would editing the original post be better? So one can just click the source if they find a reblog without it? I always figured it was harder that way but now that I think about it that may be better, but there would still be versions out there without the ID. Aaaaaaa! Y’all please let me know here or @beansprean if you can do read more on mobile and I’m missing it somehow djdjdjdj that would fix all my problems

Ok so *wildflower wildfire starts* here's the deal...I'm deciding to write down this dream cause I had an unintentional lucid dream and I find really cool that every scene from it connects to present things in my life. I had woken up (in the dream duh) and I opened tumblr (cause what else to do when you wake up in the middle of the night), I decided to watch a video, a louis...video...(that's cause I watched that IGTV some hours prior) but for some reason it wouldn't start, wi-fi sucks I guess, so I go to my living room and play the video on tv thinking it would work, it doesn't, so at that point I'm shouting curse words cause hey why the fuck doesn't it work?? I decide to make me a cup of tea when all of a sudden, the video starts!!! and louis is nowhere to be seen, what appears instead is a kid SCREAMING and it's like 5 am I suppose so I am shouting yet again at the tv for making so much fucking noise, I try to turn down the volume but the video ends and when it finally stops being so loud it STARTS AGAIN and I just ugh what what what is this. I have a mirror in my living room and I notice that my hair is LONG very very extremely long and I'm shocked cause my hair is super short rn so I stare at it and I think "wow time goes by so fast", it then turned BLONDE outta nowhere and I started playing a game in my iPad cause I'm rich in my subconscious (and this relates to the fact that the day before I was sat beside a classmate and saw her playing this decorate your house game, where the character was also blonde so it all makes sense see??) Apparently, after all that chaos, I've woken up my mom, so now my mom is in the living room with me and decides to make herself a cup of coffee and there's where I remember...I had left the water for my tea BOILING. So anyway, forget breakfast, I was too stressed from that video. Time goes by and my mom starts heading to work, I decide to go with her and to get there we take a TRICIMOTO which if you don't know what that is, it's a motorbike with a small "cabin" with seats?? attached in the back (this happened cause the day before I was talking with a friend about Ecuador), the driver drives (hih🤭) us to my mom's job and the most gorgeous sunrise appears, actually no, I only see the sun but it's soooo orange and full and round it's crazy (and that's my latest obsession with sunsets), we say goodbye, cause everyone is always so friendly in Ecuador it's cool. I tell the guy to take me back home and vroom vroom you know. BUT butbut what happens instead of life being nice to me is this guy takes me to a house yes, HIS HOUSE THO. So...uhmm...fuck I guess?? There, he introduces me to two of his friends and I'm all cool you know Idc, I can have conversations with strangers as long as they don't start shit, we're all looking into a giant mirror when BAM this guy at my left TOUCHES my shoulder in a sensual way so I'm like 'kay FUCK this I'm outta here! Good news, I was surprisingly calm, and this is the lucid part of the dream, I was running from them but the usual feeling would be PANIC overwhelming PANIC right? Well I was calm and instead of desperately running, I sorta jogged LOL, anyway, I recognized this house, apparently I had seen it in other dreams and I HATED IT hated it. I started looking for an exit, when I looked into a room and saw a girl from middle school, she looked miserable and I didn't really like her much either so...I go my own way cause fuck everyone from that time period! And finally, I find IT! MY ESCAPE!! But the door doesn't open and I don't have any keys, so I remember someone had told me there's a trick to opening this door and that someone is obviously HARRY STYLES cause I DON'T.HAVE.PEACE. (harry and these fucking doors man...). The trick didn't explicitely appear in my dream, I still managed to open the door, but...ugh...I know...right behind this door, there was ANOTHER ONE. This one was sage green pretty oh so pretty but I still didn't have any keys,,,,,,I saw above the door there was a small window, so I broke it. and a portal appeared outta nowhere cause this

IS a dream after all, but the buts are not over, this portal was useless cause it led to BRICKS. A WALL. OF BRICKS. But I was so close, I didn't give up, I started tearing it down cause apparently I have ROCK HARD HANDS here and phew, I wake up. I'm laying there remembering all I just dreamt and thinking it was so cool having control of my emotions and intentions. I was shook nonetheless and then a sigh of relief could be heard,,,,,I realized I had dreamt all that cause I slept with my tummy upwards and that is why one should NEVER sleep with their tummies upwards. Also, remember when I said "demons come get me"? well fucking hell

Nah it’s all good bru at least you’re being real abt how you feel yk? I think it’s great that you aren’t denying that you’re going through a bit of a slump, I’m glad you’re recognizing your feelings, it really does help, even if it’s just a bit, to overcome your obstacles

I can’t really say much since I don’t know your life but try to keep your head up and you will find motivation somewhere :))

Try to do something that you like to do that doesn’t feel like a chore or obligation, take some time (if you have any) out of your day to do that hobby, could even be for a few minutes

Also if you don’t already, I really encourage writing your feelings out as well- it doesn’t have to be a paragraph or anything, just whatever comes in your mind like “fuck life” or “fuck this” idk even writing on a post it note would work

And you might not even wanna do anything at all, probably just lay in bed and die. Breathing and trying to live everyday is already enough so go at your own pace, or at least try to create one, take breaks and think about yourself

Ps I do recommend listening to “paradise” by bts since the lyrics target this as well like SPOT ON, try not to cry tho it’s really good for times when you’re really unmotivated and struggling (I actually highly suggest you listen to it ASAP when you have the time i hope you can empathize with it and really take it easy since from what you could target what you’re going through)

but :'0..thank you, i do have a lot of hobbies seriously I can't keep track, one day its digital planning on my ipad and then the next its mechanical keyboards and monitors and then the next its wedding planning and then the next its reading....its a lot.

My writing slump comes and goes...like I have the motivation to write, and then when I'm all ready to do so on my laptop, i got my draft in front of me...and every thought dissipates lmao, like wth😭

I do write out my feelings, I have my friend rani for that, she is tired of me😭

Oh believe me, I wish I could just get paid loads to lay in bed, but....thats unorthodox lol

i still don’t feel like i can call it drawing since it’s mostly just me tracing images akshej but i’m glad u like them!! honestly i started a few months ago (louis on his album cover was the first one i ever did) because i bought an ipad and it seemed like a fun thing to do aishs! i’m glad u like the hug bc i’m actually quite proud of that one bc harry’s tattoos were so hard but i’m rly pleased with how they turned out (except for the ship one but we won’t talk about that)! do u draw or anything like that?

Hi! I'm thinking about buying a wacom bamboo tablet and I saw that you own one, so can I ask your help? Pleease?? 🙏🏻😅 1- Does its touch get your hand or only the pen? I'm drawing on Ipad and my hand always "paint" something in the process (one of the reasons I'm looking for a drawing tablet) 2- I watched some videos and does the pen work similar to a mouse (like you see it moving on screen but it only works once you click it)? 3- Is it easy to use it? Like drawing on paper? Sorry to bother!

1-only the pen. i think it only senses the nib and the “eraser part” of your pen. you can also activate the ‘touch’ feature where your tablet can act like a track pad.

2-when your pen is close enough to your tablet, it senses it but it doesnt write anything. to be able to write/interact/click on anything, your have to press your pen directly on the surface. (other tablets actually have that feature, where you have to press the pen while drawing to get it to work. idk the brand but my friend has one lol)

3-tbh i think it’s more hassle than traditional drawing (not exactly difficult, depending on whether or not youre used to it) since youll be drawing on your tablet but your output is seen on the computer. Just practice tho and youll be fine :)
