The movie zooms in on the Realm of the Gods. All the gods are happy here somehow. Mother Nature is Good Actually. They cut out all her manipulative bullshit. Ry leaving was their own choice and it was cool actually because they chose it, they definitely weren't running away from their problems! All the nuance is lost. Storm gives a lame cringey Riverdale-writing-worthy speech about how weird and misjudged they are. idk, I'm just coming up with a horrible vision JFSLGFLKJFD

I actually have thought about what they'd post on tumblr a long time ago, but never what it would be like DURING the plot...

Pre-canon, Araceli and Storm have a MASSIVE FUCKING PUBLIC FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP but also Araceli mostly just posts aesthetic pictures and the occasional thing about her friends so it's weird that she's posting like this??? And Storm's blog suddenly goes completely quiet soon after. Someone asks Araceli what happened to them. She tells everyone that they died, and to not talk to her about them again.

Tempest and Ry get blogs. Tempest's isn't used much at first, but they eventually do start caring. The two of them don't follow each other, and generally stick to other sides of things. Both of them try to be funny and cool online and not let on that they're gods.

Then Storm comes back from the dead and posts a fucking "I lived bitch" on their tumblr 😭 and everyone is like "WHAT THE FUCK???" and Araceli reluctantly confirms that... well, they never died. (she's lying) And that's all she'll say on that. BUT NOW PEOPLE THINK SHE LIED ABOUT THEM DYING??? And she and the others are kind of tangled together and some of them are mutuals and others aren't. People think they're soooo weird.

Meanwhile Topaz is posting like normal until her villain arc begins when she goes "having a bad time in my life rn I need a break :(" after actively venting about how much she hates humanity (not individual humans, but what they represent) so she uh. takes the break. and goes insane.

Caelestis wouldn't post at all until he's started healing (around the time Tempest starts caring about tumblr) so he and Tempest are kind of off the side of the drama chilling. Except Tempest posts sporadically and never about personal things, while Caelestis's blog is mostly personal posts with the occasional thing he's watching/doing.

Ry eventually goes dark because he got amnesia 👍 his followers worry about him but then post-canon he comes back and goes "no dw everyone I'm alive I just killed my mother but it's all cool now" and may or may not explain ever.

Let children learn that there are different ways of living. Absolutely yes!

But we should do it in ways appropriate for their ages. And we most certainly shouldn't be confusing them.

They're already finding out who they are and how they fit into the world. Let's at least help them to do that in the still growing and developing bodies and minds that they're in.

Children can have identity issues. But if we're taking them to doctors, then the doctors are there to look at symptoms, make a diagnosis and discuss possible treatment. Not to let a vulnerable and confused child decide. That's terrible!

A child knows how he or she feels, yes. But let's let the medical professionals, trained to deal with these problems, help them to find out what it all means, and how to help them.

If a child or teen turns out to actually be transgender. Then I wish him/her a happy and successful life, living as the opposite sex.

But there are other issues that could be plaguing them too. They might be gay or lesbian and struggling to come to terms with that.

They might have other body image issues. I don't pretend to know what they all are. But I do know that 'Body dysmorphic disorder' is one of them.

Then we have things like kink at Pride and children at Pride. And those are two things which should never be in the same space.

Kink, I'm all in favour of. But it belongs in the realm of consenting adults only.

It shouldn't be taking place in public spaces, when adults and particularly not children there have not consented to watch kinks be acted out.

Want kink at Pride? Then have specialised LGBT kink events. I'm sure they'd be huge fun! That way, everyone there will be 100% OK with what other people around them are doing.

And best of all, absolutely no one underage will be around.

If you want Pride to be family friendly, then everything that goes on must be suitable for all ages.

The ladies talk a lot about the drag queens with children issue. But I'll just add my thoughts.

I agree with what they say. Drag is an art form aimed at entertaining adults.

Any queens working with children should first be vetted like anyone else getting access to the young. One hopes that at least that gets done already.

Secondly they should have their material checked to make sure that it's suitable.

I'm saying nothing against drag queens themselves. I bet some will be great with children. They may be dads, uncles, god fathers etc. And so know already that what they do in front of adult audiences is in no way what they will do with children.

But not everyone is in their element with children. That includes women as well as men.

And one has to wonder if the people who organise these events are bothering to take any of this into consideration.

Praying my Beta Reader Does Not Find this (love them, but no spoilers for them, even on character descriptions)

Hi, hello, I do not typically get much in the way of attention on this site, so I am not afraid of this appearing where my beloved beta, Yuki, can find this. Therefore, this is my dumping ground because I am so incredibly Autistic about my characters.

This is for my Lost Paths AU for LOZ. Lop is the Link of this story, Zyel is the Zelda of this story, Ganondorf is Ganondorf (as always), let's get into Details I Like.

Lop:

This Bastard(TM) was raised by bears. He was literally abandoned in the wilds with nothing but a brand of what he uses as a name and a strange tattoo on his face.

He's deaf because of a physical deformity. It makes everything greatly interesting in the opening of the story.

Said physical deformity made his ears floppy because they are not going to hear the whispers of the Gods, Nuh-Uh, No Ma'am.

Has no shame (much to Zyel and Ghirahim's chagrin) and Will bathe in the Castle moat. In broad daylight. Without much to hide behind. (He picked up the Hero Spirit's gremlin trait very strongly.)

His hair is fluffy and curly and a more honey-golden color, a softer and lighter blond.

Schmol. He looks very cute in everyone else's clothes because they are Too Big for him. But he is mighty enough to wield a Very Big weapon with one hand.

Zyel:

Not A Woman, but still goes by the Princess title so it's not more complicated to the public he will rule one day.

I flung Twili characteristics on this one because ain't no way some random Twili flung themselves at a white(AHEM. I'M NOT WRONG.) royal to negotiate Not Using the Twilight Realm like the British did to Australia.

The Twili blood emphasized the Zonai blood still passed through the Royal Line for Zyel. So Zyel looks somehow more Twili than he should--more like the original Twili anyways.

Nocturnal in the ways that matter, usually hopped up on sugar and caffeine to be awake during daylight and napping during weird times in a 24 hour cycle while more naturally awake at night. (It's so complicated)

Stubbornly figured out how to automate printing presses the way the ancients did, started automating more things (though yet to figure out a coffee one)

More impulsive than any Zelda prior.

Ganondorf:

Resurrected a dead language because he could not be bothered to learn a modern one among his people.

His memory and consciousness is passed through each descendant, activated whenever the previous user of his consciousness dies. Some descendants are lucky enough to get away with dying before they become him, which he doesn't mind so much because they were themselves without question.

Stubborn. Bastard. Will. Not. Lay. Down. And. Die. You can't make him and if you try, his Sheer Rage will swallow your being and make it cease to exist.

Sometimes, when drunk, he causes storms that he knows will hit Hylian towns just because he can (weather magic user go brrrrrrr).

(BONUS!) Ghirahim:

Duke of Hell (Hell is a region in the Land of the Dead in this version, as are the Depths and Lorule, so it's more of a dukedom thing rather than a kingdom, but several dukedoms go into a kingdom from my understanding) and (Mother? Father? Parent?) Creator of Monsters (yes, this BASTARD can actively pull the "I put you into this world, I can take you back out" on all the monsters he made).

Gender? What's that gotta do with anything? You're gay no matter how you approach me with any intent of romance. Up. Up! GAY. Siddown and be gay for me.

His demonic form is more clearly a warped angelic form in my version because he started as a failed prototype to Fi as the Goddess Sword. (Scars where wings used to be, docked ear--HYLIA DID IT IN MY VERSION, blackened, feathered wings on either side of his head, tail with the shape of his blade hidden in the tip of it, white and gold laced through his skin(gold for repairs))

Makes fun of bad historians who have no idea how it really went.

Has puppeted people around to get knowledge out of people without torturing them with waterboarding or electricity or slowly cutting body parts off.

Has five children. All of them are sword/blade demons like him. And it's funny as fuck.

Even asked him once how he felt when he needs to stim, and Isak could only think to say it’s almost like an adrenaline rush. it feels like I have a thousand wasps under my skin and my heart is beating too fast and if I don’t do something to deal with all the buzzing under my skin then it gets too much and I can’t breathe and I can’t think and I hate it

his stimming is usually frantically tapping his hand against his thigh at a hundred miles per hour to balance out the buzzing under his skin

it most often comes out when he’s stressed, but sometimes his body will suddenly be filled with that buzzing feeling for no discernable reason and he just has to roll with it

it took Isak a long time to be comfortable with his Asperger’s, so it took him a long time to feel comfortable stimming. it used to feel like something he should be embarrassed or ashamed of, but now he knows it’s just something he needs to do sometimes and there’s nothing wrong with that

he hates hates hates stimming in public though because it always makes him feel like a weirdo when people look

there have been multiple instances in his life where he has suppressed the need to stim because he didn’t want to look like a freak and he instead felt like he was on the edge of a meltdown because his brain felt like it was covered in nettles and he couldn’t take anything in and all he could think about was the buzzing under his skin and how difficult it was to breathe properly

but hey at least he didn’t look like a freak he always used to think when he got home and let himself hyperventilate and then get his breathing back in check

it takes him a while to be comfortable enough around someone to stim when they’re around. if he isn’t comfortable with them he’ll tap his foot or jiggle his leg instead because that’s more socially acceptable, but nothing calms him down quite like the hand tapping

for the first few months of his relationship with Even he tried really hard not to stim because he didn’t want to do anything to jeopardize their tentative relationship

after the you are not alone hug things were different though. after Even came through his depressive episode they had a long talk, about bipolar and anxiety and autism and they both basically laid all their cards on the table

after that Isak felt safe enough with Even to stim

sometimes there are times when stimming isn’t enough to calm him down, and it’s the worst. when that happens he has to excuse himself and go somewhere quiet and put his head between his knees and try to breathe through it

if he’s going through a prolonged period of stress the side of his thigh is often red and tender and sometimes even bruised because he can get pretty forceful with his stimming when he’s highly stressed

the only times this has ever really happened was the bleak period of his life after his dad left and before Eskild took him in, and when he’s under intense academic pressure

Even hates seeing Isak all sore and bruised. he’ll smooth aloe vero gel over the inflamed skin and brush gentle kisses against the blooming bruises and ask Isak to try to be a bit gentler with himself

there have been a few occasions where people have seen him stim while he’s at school or out with the boys and made a stupid comment and it always stops Isak in his tracks, but it spurs the people around him into action

Jonas once punched some guy in the face at a party because they asked if Isak was tweaking out

there was one time when a woman on the tram wouldn’t stop looking at Isak with her lips pursed and Magnus loudly said that she should spit the lemon out of her mouth if it tasted that bitter and the woman looked incredibly embarrassed for the rest of the journey

some student was talking to her friend about Isak, you know the gay guy in second year with OCD with the bipolar boyfriend? and Mahdi flat out asked her what it was like to be so ignorant

if Even is around for those things he’ll always take Isak’s fluttering hand and kiss all his twitchy fingers and murmur that Isak should pay those idiots no mind. then he’ll let go of Isak’s hand so he can go back to tapping and he’ll glare absolute daggers at whoever dared to judge his boyfriend

when their teacher told Isak to cut it out Sana went off. she knew it wasn’t her place to yell that Isak was autistic, so she didn’t, but she did argue that this teacher had no idea if Isak had anxiety or tourrettes or OCD or autism and that she should think beyond the realms of her own experience before she tells a student to stop doing something that didn’t hurt anyone else and helped Isak concentrate on his work (Isak was so in awe of her for the rest of that lesson)

Isak favours his left hand for stimming, because it leaves his right hand free to write

sometimes if Isak is feeling brave and someone looks at him funny for stimming, he’ll stim even faster and make eye contact with them just daring them to say something because he is the king of passive aggressive and he loves the way it makes people squirm because damn right they should feel uncomfortable for being a judgemental prick
