Black Wolves Saga Bloody Nightmare (Common Plot Part 1)

This game covers 200+ memories and but I were to translate them individually, it will take me forever which no way I want lmao. So I decided to make the whole game into parts, specially the common plot. Each parts hopefully ends with a red-splash thing. I know it may sound inconvenient but I found it as a best option. The main thing I am worried is the selection things because they are so long and I hope God will help me to arrange the whole story smoothly <3

The sky is weeping. Weeping for grieving over the sorrowful event that is going to happen right away.

Large droplets of rain hit the ground. Some approaching sounds of footsteps mixed with such groaning rain could be heard from far away. Gradually, gradually.

The village which is more likely has sank inside the darkness has yet to notice the impending crisis.

???: ーー...It’s raining...brother.

???: ーー...Hmph. What is wrong, Rath? You are scared?

Rath: No, it’s not….It’s not like that...Brother, it’s raining awfully too much.

???: ーー...Raining? You are wrong, these are tears.

Rath: Tears? …...What do you mean?

???: God of the Weblin is crying. He is feeling sorrow for these humans after all.

Rath: Human...human...HUMAN...I hate them.

???: If so then kill them. Paint your heart with those emotions. Wolves do not need any heart inside them.

Looks like they appeared out of nowhere. Unscared of this rain, two human-looking persons were standing in the middle of the village.

One of them is tall figued. Another one is a young man still in the mid-way of becoming an adult.

Those are the eyes of fellows, ash colored beasts, the eyes which were shining like sparkles, like starving for flames and blood.

???: ーMove forward.

He commanded splitting a single word.

*Wolves howling sounds*

*Village was set to fire*

Female Resident 1: Heeeeehhh…!

Howling wolves are screaming as if they are proceeding by tearing through the rain.

As the people are uproaring in panic, the man’s smile inside the rain deepens.

A beautiful smile that one cannot overlook if the situation would allow you.

???: Kukukuh...Devour it all. These human’s blood, flesh andーーeverything.

Female Resident 1: KYAAAAAAAAAAA!! Wolves!? Why, what are they here....!!

Male Resident 1: Just run…!! Hurry and take our kids to….gh, kyaaa!!

???: ーIt’s pointless.

The howl of wolves that vibrates the dark night. Plus their accumulated screams rise one by one, and the echo disappears in an instant.

The sound that could be heard next was the pulling sound of something heavy. Pulling human bodies one after another.

*BG turns to an wolf eating flesh*

The next sound that could be heard was the chewing sounds of the wolves mixed with rain-water. Those wolves were slicing humans as if they were nothing more than baits.

Female resident 1: Kyaaaaayaaaaaaaaaa!! Stopp….ughuh….!!

*Blood splash*

An awkward chewing sound was resounded from all around by getting mixed with raining sound.

At the same time, the scent of blood which was not getting erased even with incessant rain spread around. It stirs up the instincts of the wolves as well.

???: Fufh...it has a very beautiful timbre. Human’s shierkings are the best comfort. I hope you will not mind letting me hear more.

From the shadows of the wolves’ flock, someone stretched their hand by appealing for help.

Strengthless, yet that person was shivering and struggling like has gotten twitched.

???: Just die, shameless.

*Blood splash*

That person has stopped moving right away.

From human, to object. To alive, to dead. From a mass of protein, to a piece of flesh.

All left now is the despicable sound of water that wolves are using to satisfy their hungry stomach, but that could be heard inside of darkness.

???: More, fill your stomach more. Eat them all….

The male’s heart gets filled with screams and frustration. Meanwhile, a villager seemed to run away in sight of that man.

That person is a villager. His destination will probably be the stable. His intention for now is to ask his neighbouring villagers to help him out by riding on a fast horse.

Once he manages to get on the horse, then wolves or something like that will be unable to interfere with him.

???: ...Guillan.

He muttered by calling that name.

Guillan: Hiyaaaaaa~! What’s up, Arles? Isn’t it just a waste of time to kill that ugly jackass?

Arles: ーIt is an order.

Guillan: Tch, how boorish. ...Well then I am gonna kill ‘em in boldly, ‘kay? Just watch me will yaaa’ー?

Along with sliced-through-wind sound, silver light breaks through the dark night. Then he immediately scratched off the man’s head who was trying to reach the horse-stable.

Resident 1: Guggh…!!

*blood splash*

Slashed fresh blood. But that immediately got mixed and soaked with rain and soil respectively.

*Shoots*

Guillan: I hit itー! Wooooooh! Oi, they’re seriously tiny sized fish. Guess it’s worth it to get more of ‘em still alive?

The headless villager trumple down to the ground with a thud. Right there was a flock of wolves. Soon enough, they could be seen devouring by chewing him.

They slurp down the fresh blood as they apart the flesh. Gushed and overflowed red with rain droplets have become one and they both are ending up being mud.

Guillan: Ahh, that guy is fukin’ ugly. Me the great don’t wanna see him, so gonna mess him up.

*Shoots*

Guillan: Hiyaaa! Cool, cool. Kindly just pass away, ugly humans.

*Another shoot*

Guillan: Hiyahahahah! Now it becomes easier to eat, yah? Eat ‘em more, ‘cuz they are merely chunks of “meat” anyways, kay?

*Blood splash*

Guillan: Ooh, It’s damn boring for some reason. It’d be better if they would fight back more. Just hunting isn’t fun though?

Arles: ーShut up. It is my order.

Guillan: Oh goodness, I smash ‘em all just as you wished right? You knoooow, wolves sob if you don’t compliment them.

Arles: ...Alright.

*Arles pats Guillan*

Guillan: Kukukuh...I like that side of yours. Oi, shall I butcher ‘em more?

*gets ready the spin-blade*

The young man called Guillan, at his fingertips, there is the dangerous weapon that reaped out the life of the villager is rotating making a humming sound.

It is a weapon called chakram, a weird weapon where one has to bag fingers into it and hurl at the distant target by being very concentrative.

Every single part of it’s external is made out of blade, the users will get hurt if they make an error in holding that.

The perfect owner of that weapon, that young man, was really suited to using that.

*Shoots + Blood flash*

Guillan: Arlesーwhat ‘bout attacking a bigger place? As you can see, It’s been a while since this miny village’s gone hollow.

They aren’t even responding a thing. Darning borin’. They are fukin villagers after all. Seriously trash yeah?

More, more and more, let’s do somethin’ more entertainingー?

*Shoots again*

Guillan: Hiyaaa, hiyaaaaaa, hiyaaaaaaaaahーhhh!!! Blooood, blooood, blood-blood-blood-blood, gotta chop off everything wooo!

Although he seems to have lost his mind, at the same time, the Charkram shoot off from his fingertips and hunts the prey by spinning through the rain and wind.

*Blood splash + stab sound*

Female Resident 1: KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAー!!

His attitude is potent, and his talent is that not only was he able to master a very difficult weapon, he mastered hunting a target very comfortably and easily. That skill of his is very well-known.

Arles: ...Fufh, you are right. We can begin to prey upon a larger city onward. We must make those humans...suffer, more suffer.

Kill more...we must kill them more. We must erase them entirely.

Guillan: Hiyahah! Sounds great...I can’t wait…

Among the wolves as they run, hunt and howl in the rain, those two’s conversations are like talkings between a child and his corresponding guardian.

Right after, Arles starts gazing on the other side.

Arles: ...What is Rath doing?

Guillan: Rath? Oh...you mean that rookie huh. Wasn’t he just hunting the foolish who were simply trynna escape over there.

He doesn’t seem to like murder thing that much. Don’t really think he is your younger bro.

Arles: ...Rath is still immature. If he abandons his emotions, he should be able to kill humans.

Guillan: Abandon emotions? He’d feel more at ease if he’d just do fun stuff and stop thinking about troublesome shits.

*Spins his Chakram*

Guillan: Hiyyaaah! ‘Kay then, I’m gonna rampage a lil’ more.

Arles: Do not let even a single one be alive. Kill everyone except wolves, seize the souls of everyone. Everyone.

Guillan: I’m down for itー! Bossー!

The scent of blood, as well as the screams and everything which is happening gets erased in the rain, doesn’t even reach anyone.

Now this small village has turned into a hunting ground for wolves.

Arles: ...Rath.

Rath: ……

After shifting places with guillan, the young man has shown up as if he gets out from the dark.

Arles: What were you doing?

Rath: ...Nothing particular. I was killing them. Just as you told me.

Arles: Do not worry, Rath. Set on fire after the rain stops.

Rath: ...Yeah. I know, brother.

Arles: We are doing this in order to let it know what happened. We want the foolish subjects of Weblin to realize the existence of us, the wolves.

Take everything away, their houses, lands, and lives so that they cannot even think about coming to these places again.

Rath: ...Big brother, I know.

Arles: If you know then respond. The leader of this flock is me.

Rath: ...Yeah.

Arles: Rath, do not think about the points that much. Listen to your own insects inside you. Sound yourself more like “kill humans!”

Rath: ...I know, brother. I know!!

Arles: Say it, you will kill them.

Rath: I will kill. I will...kill humans.

Arles: Say it once more. It is an order.

Rath: ...Kill, kill, kill...kill. I will kill...kill...kill. I will kill, kill...kill, kill, kill, kill them.

I must kill them.

Arles: Rath, do not hesitate. You are not allowed to forget what they did to us.

Rath: Kill, kill, kill, kill. Yeah...I will kill them.

Arles: Alright...time to go. Fire up.

A small nod, then the young man disappeared out of sight just like he faded away in the dark.

Arles: ...Kukukuh.

The male chuckles as he is glaring at this hellish disaster.

Arles: Other races etc, just devour all of them. Wreck them out and get rid of everything.

Look, the God of Weblin. This is the beginning of the wolves’ revenge. If you say our race is cursed, then I dare you to curse more.

Kukukuh, hahahah, HAAHAAHHAHAHAH!

As the bloody-rain continues, the man who stood in the middle of this tragic place was the king of the wolves.

Weblin Kingdom

It is a small kingdom which is lying at a corner of the continent thronged with great powers.

Garibaldi family of the Cat species rules it. Surrounded by abundant and strict atmosphere, Weblin is undoubtedly standing as an solitary island on the continent.

While wearing armor called “Nature which prevents aggression”, this kingdom was flourishing as an independent civilization on the continent.

The one that holds domination power is the species called ‘Cats’.

In this world the species that exist are ー1) ’Cats’

2) Human

3) Wolves

4) And the rare species are ‘Rat’

5) Lion

6) Dog

7) Rabbit

When wolves and humans hand over the top of the Weblin to the Cats, the races living there including the rare ones were being dominated.

Hundred of years passed after its founding, although there were clan’s barriers in it, Weblin was still a harmonious and splendid country which existed in a beautiful environment.

Exactly like this, until ten years ago.

As the history progressed, Cats and other races of Weblin were producing a few number of frictions.

Exploiting takes place right one after another. The relationship between the tribes finally began to be disputed.

There was a rebellion that occurred ten years ago.

A wolf guard-knight who used to work for the Weblin kingdom had turned the sword towards one of the members of the royal family.

Cats who ruled Weblin, and the one who ruled on their top of that was the royal family Garibaldi. Treasoning that family was a very heavy sin.

That guard-knight’s residence was disrupted and so after he was driven out from the country. However一the uproar still was not all over.

That uproar was not only between Wolves and Cats but involved in every other race.

一And thereupon, a big plague had assaulted the country.

A brutal death-disease called “Zodiva” 一 so called this disease by human and it was in trend.

This may dye the sufferer’s skin into black color and may also end up completely spoiling the brain-tissues. And this unknown caused plague will eventually lead the affected individual into madness.

Wherein a rumour takes place which is “Wolves are the reasons behind the origin of this plague.” This rumour got spread across many regions in no time.

The people of the villages and towns that wolves attacked were feared, that thoroughly-outbroken disease was the wolves’ curse.

And eventually that ‘Zodiva’ name becomes identified as ‘Madness-disease by Wolves.’

In order to sweep away the fear of such people, the Weblin Kingdom Garibaldi VI had announced a certain rule.

一 “Genociding Wolves Law”

“Behead the wolves who are the origin of the nation-wrecking disease.”

Balanced relationships between the clans that had been preserved for 100 years have decisively collapsed after coming this far.

The decree to protect yourself from the wolf species was warranted as a reason to hunt the wolf species behind anyone’s notices.

In the fear of Zodiva, the other clans started wildly joining in wolves-hunting and had decided to exterminate them.

ーAnd ten years have passed since then.

Due to the dramatic decrease of wolves, the impact of Zodiva has also descended.

However, the wolves killing law that Garibaldi VI had published still continued to function without undo.

The wolves species began to decrease so much as if it was an endangered species.

By changing the wolves’ position to be preyed on, the cats became more and more absolute strength owners.

Weblin, unlike the outer places where the plague was not spreaded, is now belonging to cats…

ーIt was an absolute monarchy.

Place: Weblin Kingdom Castle一 Corridor

Auger: …?

Hm, I just heard a voice. As I was walking leisurely in the hallway, I stopped and brought up my ear to listen to something interesting or not.

(Hmmm? What kind of conversation would they possibly have in such a place like this.)

Waiting Maid 1: Hey tell me, did you two heard a rumour about a witch?

Waiting Maid 2: A witch?

Waiting Maid 3: Yeah, rumour about the witch of Charmessen (Beautiful Forest)?

Waiting Maid 1: Oh yeah exactly. You know, it’s said that there’s a witch in the Charmessen forest.

Waiting Maid 2: Yes, I have heard about it a little. It was about like the witch from the Charmessen forest is cursing the Weblin by wielding a disaster, right?

Waiting Maid 3: Exactly, as you see the northward village has been raided up and destroyed by the wolves recently.

Waiting Maid 2: Very miserable indeed… After eating and killing the people regardless of their gender and age, they even set the places on fire.

Waiting Maid 1: Yeah, I talked to a member of knighthood who was dispatched later on…

It was not cool to ask him but, he turned pale after saying it wasn’t something that humans could do.

Waiting Maid 3: Even a brave knight has averted his eyes, it means it was a terrible spectacle indeed…

Waiting Maid 1: Same goes for the impact on the wolves, I heard the witch is manipulating the wolves to attack everyone.

Waiting Maid 2: Eeh? But what the witch would possibly achieve by making the wolves attack down.

Waiting Maid 3: You know, it’s something that I have heard though...because the witch wants to have an eternal life, she will need so many sacrificial victims.

Waiting Maid 1: Then she is making the wolves hunt the villages or towns to get so many sacrificed people...I am scared now.

Waiting Maid 2: Talking about being scared...recently the Garibaldi Majesty IV keeps getting in weak condition. I am scared of what if something bad happens.

Waiting Maid 1: You’re right. Majesty’s condition just keeps getting frailed lately…

Waiting Maid 3: Raids by wolves, Zodiva, Witch and so many threatening stuff are going on. So I would like the Majesty to hang on there…

Waiting Maid 2: Rather, isn’t it okay to hand over the royal to His Highness Mejojo really quick?

Waiting Maid 1: Hush…! How can you handle it if it goes to others’ ears…!?

Waiting Maid 3: As she said, no matter how number one royal successor Lord Mejojo is, don’t say so confirmly that he is going to be the next heir.

Expecting Garibaldi VI is going to pass out is something considered as the crime of treason you know?

The silence that stares around for a while continues. The three of them are more likely to sweat over what they will do if somebody would hear their conversations.

Auger: (Seriously, you ought to be careful since you don’t know if somebody had a chance to hear you or not.)

That’s right. For example, just like this, there was a possibility that the twin brother of the next royal successor prince Mejojo Von Garibaldi has been taking a peek in your conversations.

(Everyone likes gossiping about rumours afterall~ I also don’t hate it though)

I like it even more if it comes out handy for me.

Waiting Maid 1: That being said...It just pops up in my mind. The disagreements between the Garibaldi Majesty VI and his twin princess came out pretty much a fact.

Waiting Maid 2: Eh? No kidding?

Waiting Maid 3: Oh, I heard about that too. Let me go back umm...it was about Lady Eleanora and Rayrie, yeah?

Waiting Maid 2: Lady Eleanora and Rayrie…? Who are you talking about? Was there anybody with those names?

Waiting Maid 1: Ohh, you have moved here recently. Both Lady Eleanora and Rayrie are Majesty Garibaldi VI’s wives.

Waiting Maid 2: Oh yes, that’s why...I felt like I heard those names before.

But surely both of them had passed away right?

Waiting Maid 1: ...Yeah. It’s been many years since Lady Eleanora and Rayrie had passed away.

Waiting Maid 2: I see. Guess no matter how newcomer I am or other maidens, you are gonna know those names today or tomorrow.

If that is the case then...it means Majesty Garibaldi VI is very sorry.

Waiting Maid 2: Because both of his wives have passed out pretty early, no?

I purposely straightened my neck up and showed up from the place that I have silently been hiding.

The maidens who were blooming like a flower while ridiculously chattering a minute ago, are instantly turning into pale blue.

That’s not surprising either. Because the rumoured person that was being chased by these ladies’ curious minds has presented his appearance.

Auger: Hey there, what three of you were talking about? Would you please let me join too? I love those kinds of conversations.

With an intentional carefree and light voice, I asked if it would be okay to accompany them.

Obvious enough, they turn around their heads side to side with immense vigor.

Waiting Maid 1: W- we are terribly sorry, your highness Auger...we are taking our leaves…!

Waiting Maid 2: Kindly excuse our silliness…!

Auger: Eeeh, aren’t you going a bit over? I had already heard every single word of what you just talked about. That being said, you also mentioned something like ‘you will get dismissed’, no?

Waiting Maid 1: N- not at all…! No way…! If I had misunderstood something...kh, I- I am begging your forgiveness…

Auger: Nope, now way I will pardon you right? You are gonna die here.

Waiting Maid 1: Hhhee…!!

*that maiden falls down*

Auger: So, what are you upto? Oh right, you also intended to say that yeaaa.

...I am a royal master musician. My ears are very sharp. And you can tell it clearly by looking at those ears, no? Or perhaps you humans can’t possibly get what I meant.

Look carefully, my ears are really great. I may end up hearing every single thing.

Waiting Maid 2: ...R- right.

Auger: That- is- why, if you talk about such things for a second time...I will kill you.

Waiting Maid 3: ...hhhgh…!!

Auger: Your response, lil’ human girls?

Waiting Maid 3: A- alright!! Your highness Auger!!

Waiting Maid 2: W- we beg our excuse…!

While the three parties fairly raised their voices, the ladies got dismissed from that place in no time.

Auger: Looks like there're so many rumours spreading out...Fufu, rumours are pretty fun I guess…?

I slothly resumed to start wandering while giggling.

Although it has declined, the effect of Zodiva still has not reached zero.

The raids on the towns-villages by the wolves.

The same time when those situations got paired, other threatening rumours also got spread in a blink of an eye.

Auger: (Even the ‘father is passing out’ being a rumour...mhm, pretty interesting indeed)

I was able to hear something very amusing while loitering around looking for cool news.

I’m also telling this great news to my big brother.

I have to set it up since brother has a serious gaze. He may also not be gonna tease about it like me.

Let’s make it more interesting if that’s what the case is, okey?

when you make edits, do you take screenshots in game or in cas? and do you have any tips on getting rid of the bg cleanly? i always have a line around my sims that has the color of the background and it looks crunchy and ugly :(

i take my pics in game! i use the helgatisha backdrop thing and i typically use the colour of the bg in the edit somehow so that when i cut out the background any lines around the hairs i use aren’t too obvious.

if it’s fullbody i do use srwe for a hq res. i size up 3x. for cutting out the bg i just use the wand tool in ps and i think my refine edge is on default? like the sharpest it can be. if i have to go in and cut things out manually i use the pen tool.

so like this post i didn’t cut nancy out i just filled in the rest. but then this post i took the pics on a dark green bg that i used in the pattern like you can still see the edges around her hair but it’s fine it’s the vibe. if you’re using mm hairs you can get it a lot cleaner and not worry about losing details.

sorry for the essay but i would recommend srwe because you see such a diff when it comes to fullbody shots. when you’re cutting out your bg a layer mask is your best friend bc then it doesn’t matter if the wand tool takes too much out you can just use a brush and get it back. and if you use the colour in your edit then it doesn’t need to be too neat

First thought: Homestuck^2 should've just been called Beyond Canon, and more people should call it that.

The 2 was put on for chuckles; HS trending the day it was announced with it being a sequel spoke enough about how such a thing shant be underestimated, and why Homestuck is ABSOLUTELY more than just our small twitter crowd (and the scrap of us still on tumblr). I say that because remembering the Beyond Canon part slightly reassures me about the fact that this is a fanwork that will do some weird shit, and things I don't agree with, but isn't something that I have to subscribe to enjoying all the way with how I engage with Homestuck.

Homestuck 2 is not the canon continuation. Homestuck 2: Beyond Canon, is an OFFICIAL continuation.

Not having it on such an important stool and as the only content we all are only allowed to digest should come from both people who obsessively dislike it, and people who defensively support it. If a character says they kick babies then I can say, hey that's weird, maybe not great writing, but I can pretend they don't in my content, and i dont have to send threats or call people cishet white men for it! and, it's an absolutely great thing that we were all encouraged to create our own ideas without anyone who's influenced us to do so squinting their eyes when we actually go through with it. Glad I don't have to put this story up to the expectations of being a sequel to a 11 year, worldwide IP that's shooketh the internet landscape since it's merely optional, Death of the Author persists, and ideas aren't just dominated and revolved around the perspective of a 1% in this entire fanbase.

That said.

As an OFFICIAL continuation versus a canon one, HS2 is ok. It certainly has that fanfiction vibe, and a story it wants to tell. I can't really tell what that story is since we have like, 10 sub plots rn though. There's not a real a clear indicator on where the focus of main conflict is that connects all these stories together.

I thought that the prose in replacement of Vriska's battle was jarring, but not teeerribly surprising for the format HS2 is going for. It's more so using drawings to compliment text versus Homestuck's usual of panels being side by side with visual importance, or even itself being the one compliment. It sorta feels weird tho that it brought old fans back in with art just for them to get sneered at when they get a bit upset that there won't be main staples of art known to progress the story forward.

Also people who mock people for “having to read homestuck” knowing there’s language barriers and struggling focus from those who’ve been use to something that was never so dense, are ridiculous.

Personally this could be solved by knowing how old flashes worked, having way more artists on the team, maybe even an art director if not already, and noting that we're not asking for the next Cascade. Rome wasn't built in a day, but Rose Ride sure was, and Homestuck’s animation is absolutely not the same as a 12-24 framed 12 minute cartoon. That, or just snuff the illustrative art as a whole since it's very clear on where the focus is.

I’m sure you’re not here trying to see my opinions on how the outer workings are though, versus plot.

Uuuuh, let's see. Yiffy's still a name I don't care to use until I eventually get tired of any of my art that do not show up in tags. This is fine and not as offensive as people are saying it is. Minors who want to cosplay this character don't have to call themselves this character. Not wanting to be one letter away from accidentally entering a very NSFW space of twitter is fine. Also the lot of people call Tavros, Tavvy.

I hope Kanaya's anger at being cucked is actually seen versus being implied through fan guesses and another character having to say she was.

Jane should have a mention of her relations to HIC being a main/bad influence on her current parallels to Alternian dictatorship.

The PRE-RETCON GROUP should have a fun one-shot update for fans who like them, since they oughta be around if they fell through the ghost hole. Most of them. The sprites that aren't Jasprosesprite should also show up too, since they're around.

Aaaaaand I think we should be extra careful going into the future when it comes to the alien rebellion. It's weird that a lot of the writers are white and toy around with concepts that can be a not so great parallel to racism. Currently not great timing rn! If the characters are going to remain aracial, but with them still doing not much to reference other non-white earth cultures or getting new hair cuts that have different textures (looking at you, Rose), we shant make the species with actual biological benefits a racism commentary. the xeno joke at least had a play on words. If any writer has happened upon this then a, please don't get mad at me again haha, and b, consider having more black writers or directional assistance on your squad. You know who they are.

In the future. I casually want the ghost from the Dream Bubbles to be shown since it's a big elephant in the room to not have a single one of them in the bg despite a load of them appearing from the ghost whole. Don't gotta give them speaking lines, especially the dancestors. I personally don't know if I want that right now.

I also hope in the future that we don't get HS content that is only going to revolve around HS2, if it's optional enough to engage with without being the only option. That's why PQ could ended a bit better for me, and why I hope it's not the main thing that's keeping Hiveswap on the backburner. I don't think it's farfetched to consider that multiple HS content could come from more than just one team; to relieve work load, but to also strengthen the idea that Homestuck can be a various amount of perspectives when it comes to the ideas fans have. The most dedicated fans leading the direction of the story is not just a handful of them. If anything, at least acknowledge the massive ass fan projects going on once in awhile to showcase the different avenues.

Not every comment needs to be golden, love. Again, some of these decisions I eck at, but ultimately they're just words on a computer that I'm not holding anyone at gun point to do, and I'm curious to see how the story handles itself going forward, since again, it's just a fanwork. Sometimes I wish to not only see where the plot goes, but to see a writer's craft in action.

Good Things:

The Art. Again, please have more artists. It'd help so much, especially since the main one is also double timing for VE. That said, HS2 sticks out to me because of the way the color composition is used. Aside from hair and other tiny things, I haven't seen black used a lot, which makes colors pop. It's really nice to look at. I hope we get more sharper styles of character in the future, since it builds on nostalgia and makes the trolls feel much less like they're from Repiton, but I can deal with it for the most part. I also like that one panel where the omega kids and vriska are talking in the dark room, and based on where they're standing, the text aligns. Tasty as hell.

Meat and Candy still do hold neat logic in the direction the stories go. Candy, while it could be more tasteless in some areas, is chaotic and too much of a good thing. Meat is having something a little more straightforward, though I'm not sure quite yet where it's going. I always found Candy to be the part of the epilogue that actually entertained me the most, from how much of a surreal Robot Chicken skit at 3am it felt. Sometimes the jokes slapped real nice and made me wonder, going in, how is this monkeys paw gonna play out and, hopefully, make people laugh or smirk like they got a good roast at themself?

The slightly episodic feel of each update is what I wanted from the Epilogues, so it's interesting to see that play out when it comes to switching different perspectives.

The bonus updates get points for featuring characters that a lot of us have been wanting to see for ages.

Hopefully this isn't unpopular, but I think the tension of Yiffy's introduction was nicely composed and written (ignoring some of the things I wish for Jane). It leaves you with enough want to see what'll happen next time. You could also say that despite her growling and making a lot of noise, it's not actually bad writing: I see it as the audience being forced to see her in the same perspective that Jane see's her; a dog. Upon no context we're seeing the same thing while knowing things are obviously off, and once we see this character in a new environment where their personality shines, it'll have a bigger impact her own character being humanized. So I like that.

Okay, I think that's all I got. I improv wrote most of this; hopefully I won't be taken out of context since I don’t think that HS2′s writing should ultimately be a judgement of the writers as people, nor treated as if they should hold the same unhealthy work environment that Andrew forced himself to do when writing the og comic. And I'm still like, donating to the patreon and everything, lol.

BG/SG/DI, two twin witches + one bear cub.

Diminie -> Jisoo.

Baby G -> Jiyeon.

Seagull -> Jungkook (goes nameless in Part 1).

(This fic is like a feel good pill for me. Hope you’ll enjoy it as well.)

Jisoo likes waking up early.

He also likes staying nestled under the quilted blankets for a hot minute as the ambiance of their room whispers in the quiet, punctuated by the cute little noises his brother makes in his sleep.

Jiyeon is not an early riser, but once he’s awake, he doesn’t stay in bed much longer - up and running for his big mug of coffee to jumpstart his day full of bustling activity.

With a self-indulgent yawn, Jisoo props himself up on one elbow, peeking behind the curtain where the outside world greets him with the promise of a fine day. And Jisoo believes that any day can be a fine day as long as one welcomes it with an open heart.

He lets the curtain fall back and rolls onto his other side to press a soft kiss to the crown of Jiyeon’s head. His brother whimpers, wiggling deeper under the covers and making Jisoo giggle fondly at his cuteness - Jiyeon would be the first to complain if Jisoo didn’t kiss him first thing in the morning.

Next, he gingerly crawls over Jiyeon’s sleeping form to get off their bed. As his feet touch the floor, his toes immediately curl into the fluffy carpet that purrs in response like a house cat, shooting a boost of energy up his feet.

The sleeping area is separated from the rest of the bedroom by a night veil. Delicate as a gossamer and with a dark blue shimmer to it, it muffles all noises and dims all lights, keeping even the nasty nightmares at bay. Jisoo slips right through, barely disturbing it, as he steps into the other half of the room bathed in the vibrancy of the morning light.

Their house is an enchanted place, ever changing, molding itself constantly to meet the needs of its two owners. Sometimes it can be a touch unpredictable even, Jisoo thinks as he patters his way through the open inner court that somehow became bestrewn with evergreen pines just overnight. The mist is rolling gently over the needle-littered floor while a bird warbles among the branches up above and perhaps that’s not the worst thing to encounter on one’s way to the washroom.

Albeit it wouldn’t be accurate to call it a wash-room, per se. Not anymore. Not since Jiyeon decided that he likes taking long baths while enjoying the unobstructed view of Mother Nature. So, their wash-room is an honest-to-gods hot spring now.

And Jisoo remains largely un-sold on the idea, but at least now it’s close to the kitchen, so when he is done splashing spring-fresh water onto his face, he heads there for breakfast.

As usual, plates are crowding every single surface in sight, carrying too much food for both of them to finish in a month. Their house spirit has yet to warm up to the idea of moderation, always going the whole hog. Yet, there is a lot of freedom in the way the spirit runs their household and Jisoo would be loath to take that away - it’s simply the spirit’s way of taking care of them and that goes both ways. Besides, he gets to try something new almost every day and the foodie in him can’t say no to a scrumptious meal.

“It’d be nice to have breakfast outside today. Maybe under the pergola?” Jisoo says, popping a plump raspberry into his mouth.

“Oh, and leave a basin with spring water for Jiyeon in the bedroom. Room temperature. Generously sprinkled with lavender petals, please. He likes the scent.”

Before he makes his way outside, he lingers in front of a bookcase, running his fingers over the colorful book spines. He likes reading in the morning when it’s quiet and cozy, although he’s not good at keeping track of the books he's been reading - they always tend to vanish from wherever he’d left them, so he picks something new pretty much every morning. He is not too fussy about what to read as long as it’s about romance. Or gardening. Or both.

A book pokes out, practically jumping into his hands, courtesy of the house spirit, and with a quiet ‘Thank you’, Jisoo makes for the door leading into the garden - his absolute favorite place to dally.

The garden is still very much work in progress as Jisoo likes working on it with his own two hands, mostly magic-free. Which baffles Jiyeon to no end. Ideally one would employ the services of a garden spirit who would do an outstanding job. And Jisoo agrees - that would have been so much easier. Kicking back and letting the professional do the work. Yet, he likes pottering about their plot, despite the many mishaps and frustrations that come with it. Maybe he is just being weird. Jiyeon certainly thinks so.

Still there’s something extremely satisfying about lolling around in the dappled light from the pergola, gazing over at the fruits of his labor - lavender, pot marigolds and coneflowers, all thriving in perfect union. Pretty as they can be.

Jisoo expects nothing out of the ordinary when he settles down with his tea, a buttery toast and the book - “Friendly Spirits of the Forest and Where to Find Them”. He will read until Jiyeon sashays out of the house and demands Jisoo make him a toast. And as he nibbles on his toast, they take the time to catch up on their correspondence as well as the latest witchy gossip from town.

The serenity of the morning is shuttered, however, by the clutter of plates. Nose tucked into his book, Jisoo startles, eyes darting to the cloth-draped summer table by the rose bushes. For a moment, he sees nothing that could have caused the ruckus until a little paw sneaks its way from under the table to snatch a heapful of fluffy pancakes from a plate.

Jisoo is gobsmacked for a moment, at a loss for what to do. It seems impossible that someone would be able to slink in without alerting them in one way or another. Either the house spirit must have let the intruder in or...something else entirely. And even if the creature has no ill intent (aside from nicking a few pancakes), he finds the very thought troubling indeed.

This is supposed to be their little haven, his and Jiyeon’s, away from everybody else.

With the book still pressed to his chest, Jisoo tiptoes around the table, wanting to take a good look at their guest before anything else.

He finds them easily, under the table, as the creature looks up at him, mid-munch, with a mouth full of pancake. Jisoo recognizes them as a wood spirit, still in his cubhood. The poor thing looks tiny and unkempt, perhaps stumbling upon their place in search of food.

For a moment, they simply stare at each other in mutual appraisal until the spirit seems to lose any interest in Jisoo, reaching out for a raisin pound cake from the food pile between his legs and stuffing it into their mouth, none-too-graceful. Jisoo takes it as his cue to approach him, crouching down to inspect his features in detail.

The book pokes him, stealing his attention momentarily, before opening up in a wild swirl of pages.

Bear spirit, the page reads.

There is a whimsical drawing of a bear napping under a berry bush and Jisoo inspects it for a moment before allowing his gaze to flit back to the spirit at hand. He certainly looks more like a human than a bear, although their facial features are definitely straddling that line. Is that a nose or an animal snout? That has yet to be decided.

Curious, Jisoo thinks. Could it be because this one is just a cub?

“Hello,” he says gently, addressing the spirit for the first time. “You’ve got a bit of jam there, little one, let me get it for you.”

Jisoo whips out his pristine handkerchief to reach out and dab around the cub’s mouth. When he doesn’t pounce or growl or show any signs of hostility, Jisoo takes his paw into his hand and beckons him from under the table. Obediently, the spirit toddles along, fingers stuck in his mouth, sucking the last of the sweetness off it.

Jiyeon glides into the room in his usual fluttery fashion, his trip to the coffee pot running smoothly even after he spots the cub poking a plant in the corner.

Few things can interrupt him on his way to coffee and seeing a new face in their cozy kitchen is not one of them, it seems.

“And here I thought we had a no-pet policy,” he remarks, however, after a careful sip.

Jisoo spreads apricot jam on a toast before handing it to Jiyeon.

“That’s a spirit, actually,” Jisoo chirps, plopping the book in front of Jiyeon. “Look.”

“A bear spirit?” Jiyeon peeks over his cup. “Oh dear. Aren’t they supposed to be asleep this time of year?”

“It’s the middle of the summer, Mimi,” Jisoo says. “Don’t be silly. Besides, it’s a bear spirit not a bear, they’re not the same, I don’t think.”

“Whatever,” Jiyeon pouts, biting into his toast.

The bear spirit in question ambles closer, reaching on his tippy toes to hook his chin over the table edge. Jisoo props up the book to let them see the drawing.

“Hadly a spitting image,” Jiyeon comments sourly. “Are you sure that’s what it is?”

Jisoo sighs - he has no idea. Neither of them have met a spirit like this before. Most of them dwell deeper in the woods, wary of any contact with people.

The spirit inches towards Jiyeon, eyes like two dark chocolate candies trained on his toast. The sneaky invasion doesn’t escape Jiyeon’s attention as he squints at the cub skeptically, his upper lip raised to show a sliver of teeth, before offering him the crust of his toast.

The cub sniffs at it. Then, curiously licks Jiyeon’s finger instead. His brother squeaks.

“He licked me!”

“You had jam smeared on it,” Jisoo says. “He seems to like sweet things.”

“Oh, I know I’m a sweet thing, but you better keep it in your mouth, mister,” Jiyeon complains with a wiggle of his finger - the cub pouts, slipping under the table with a grumpy babble.

“Touchy,” Jiyeon tsks, smiling impishly.

Jisoo masks his giggle with a cough, settling into a chair to dig deeper into the book for answers.

“You know,” he speaks up, some time later. “I think he’s been here all along. That’s why the house spirit never alerted us about the intruder.”

“Excuse me?” Jiyeon looks up from his morning newspaper, perfect eyebrows drawn in frown.

“Well, it says here they adapt to mimic the creatures in their surroundings. And we’re the only ones here. I mean, there must be a reason he looks so human, right?”

“Well now. That’s unsettling,” Jiyeon huffs, legs crossed, his slipper balancing on his toe.

“What, is he like a chameleon or something? Just wait until he starts matching the color of our hideous couch pillows, and we’ll never find the wretched thing. He already thinks he owns the Undertable.”

As if on cue, the cub sneaks from the Undertable to smack the slipper off Jiyeon’s foot, lobbing the fluffy thing high in the air.

Jiyeon shrieks and curses up a storm and Jisoo thinks his face might start hurting by the end of today from too much laughter.

The water in the bathtub has to be changed three times before it stops turning the color of dirt. To think that all of it came off the tiny cub is kind of gross, or so Jiyeon dramatically claims before being chased in circles around the tub by the said cub, squeaky clean now and naked as the day he was born.

Jiyeon is shrieking at the top of his lungs. In other words, he’s enjoying himself.

Jisoo steps in-between the two, catching the cub into a fluffy towel and swaddling him into a pancake. The cub does not protest, peacefully handing himself over to Jisoo’s care - he seems to be more willing to behave around Jisoo compared to his brother. He wonders if the cub is more wary of him as he combs through the mop of the thick dark hair with two bear-like ears unfurling their way to freedom.

Jiyeon coos and calls them “little saucers”, playfully flicking one and then the other. The cub butts him lightly, nuzzling into his tummy with a series of warbling noises.

It’s like he is getting cuter by the moment.

Later, Jisoo fetches a plate with crispy waffles with a sludge of raspberry syrup poured on top. The cub sniffs at it, nose twitching, before snagging a few in one bite. He barely chews. The glitter of buttons on Jiyeon’s gown pulls at his attention and he plays with them for a while, the witch giggling and booping his big nose.

“He’s kinda cute though,” he says. “I suppose we could spare a bathroom mat for him to sleep on.”

Jisoo gives him a look.

“What?” Jiyeon asks innocently. “It’s extra fluffy. I’ll even lend him your old baby blanket. Don’t say I’m not a giver.”

“He’ll easily fit between us, Mimi,” Jisoo coos. “Won’t you, baby cub?”

“Absolutely not,” Jiyeon protests, long earrings tinkling. “I like my space. I like to sleep spreadeagled, you know that.”

“You never do that, Mimi.”

“But I could!”

“You curl into a ball like a little kitten and then complain until I spoon you from behind.”

Jiyeon harrumphs, objections put on hold for now, as he gets busy arranging hair clips into the cub’s hair.

In Part 2, JK is going to get a bit older and we’ll learn more about the twin’s daily routine.

I hear and I obey - here’s the background info for this pic. :D Just be warned: I’m a Trekkie just barely getting into Star Wars lol. I did my research, but it’s a little hard because Disney retconned everything but the movies. I have no idea what counts as “in the movies” because I haven’t seen them all (also, stuff like the midi-chlorians could be an unspoken thing in the movies - no idea if they are or not, but it’s a possibility). Originally I wasn’t gonna do any prompts bc school, but then I saw someone submitted Star Wars as a prompt lol. I’d been half thinking about doing a Star Wars AU after I watched Rogue One, so this was good motivation for me to do something. The bg info is under the cut bc it’s pretty long.

Another heads up: I mention everyone, but the only ones I really thought about were Vision, Wanda, and those directly related to them (Tony, Ultron, and Pietro). I also use “First Order” to refer to the bad guys, but if I were writing a fic, I probably would come up with a different name (Empire to First Order, First Order to whatever).

Maximoffs

Wanda and Pietro are from a planet rife with political turmoil and… just bad conditions overall (I’d name one if I could lol). They’re both sensitive to the Force, Wanda more so than Pietro.

Their parents died because of the Rebellion - specifically Tony’s long-range weapons. There was a First Order outpost near their home, and their parents got caught up in the crossfire.

Wanda and Pietro grew up on the streets after that, resenting Tony.

Pietro is a hella good pilot. He knows how to hotwire/upgrade ships and make them go faster. He’s teaching Wanda, but she’s a bit of a clumsy flyer.

Pietro meets Strucker, a general for the First Order, first and convinces Wanda that they should join the Order to be able to get back at Tony.

Strucker isn’t sensitive to the Force, but he knows how to use a lightsaber (and does, to an extent - but not very often because it has the potential to blow his cover). He keeps up a lie that he’s a Sith, which is what ultimately drew Pietro and Wanda in since he promised he could train them.

Strucker trains the twins (poorly, but they don’t know that) to use the Force and gives them lightsabers (basic hand-me-down ones, bc the twins are a gamble Strucker keeping hidden from his higher-up Ultron - his plan is to replace Ultron with one of the twins, most likely Wanda since she’s more Force-sensitive. Pietro is physically stronger but she wields her lightsaber better and is better at using the Force).

Ultron

At least five years before the twins meet Strucker, Tony is builds an android. He’s the best there is at making them. There aren’t many Jedi Knights anymore, so he had the grand idea of making droids that could be Jedis to help the Rebellion.

His first Force-sensitive droid is Ultron. Tony uses his own biological material (blood, maybe other things) when creating Ultron so Ultron has midi-chlorians and can connect with the Force.

Ultron is a failure as soon as Tony boots him up. Ultron defects almost immediately and joins the First Order.

Ultron, meanwhile, quickly rises in ranks but not as quickly as a Force-user would expect to. He trains himself because his connection to the Force is weak and because the (unnamed) Sith Lord doesn’t think he’ll do well. Loki keeps an eye out but doesn’t help Ultron.

Ultron believes his connection is weak because he has too much metal/droid parts, so he kidnaps Helen Cho to force her to help him run experiments on people and cadavers. Ultimately, though, he blames Tony, for his weak connection - because if it’s Tony’s biological material or if it’s the body Tony made for Ultron, it’s still Tony’s fault. This spurns his hatred.

Eventually, a year after the twins join the First Order, Ultron and Cho have perfected the balance needed between droid and human. Ultron plans on uploading his programs into the body.

The body was a cadaver of a Jedi Knight. The skin got dyed red, as per Ultron’s wishes, and there’s metal all over the outside and inside for support and to connect the cpu to the extremities to move properly etc. There is no longer any hair on the body because of the treatments it underwent. There’s a piece of a kyber crystal in the forehead; the crystal is a chip from a bigger crystal that powered a superweapon (which, depending on kyber crystals work, might be retconned and just left as a kyber crystal was placed in his forehead).

Avengers

Nick Fury is responsible for the Avengers. He made the small, elite team to do missions quickly and to do them well. He knows they don’t get along (or, rather, Tony and Steve don’t really get along well, and when they fight, it pulls the others in), but they’re good when they’re connecting.

Tony: Ultron’s failure ended Tony’s attempts at making Force-sensitive droids, but he continued making battle-ready droids that serve as protectors with his AI, J.A.R.V.I.S. (I actually have no idea if AIs are in Star Wars, but it’s conceivable given all the tech they have). He has a very weak connection to the Force. He’s a good pilot and trooper, but he makes erratic movements that make it hard for people to work with him.

Steve: He’s a Rebel trooper. He’s a decent pilot, but he’s no one’s first choice if there are other pilots available. His cryotube was stolen from the First Order about two years before Tony started working on Ultron. Steve was a failed human experiment from a previous war - failed as in they couldn’t control his mind, but he did get super-strength. His friend, Bucky, was the only success. Once Steve got wind of the First Order reawakening old human experiments (which they did because of Ultron and the possibilities he created just be being alive), he got hope; ever since word about a First Order mercenary called the Winter Soldier started getting to the Rebel forces, he’s been low-key searching for the Winter Soldier to see if it’s Bucky.

Natasha: She had been a merc-for-hire, willing to do the dirty work for any side so long as they paid the right price, but Clint scooped her up into the Rebel forces. She’s a hella good pilot and trooper - the only one that can best her in a shoot-off is Clint.

Clint: He’s another really good all-rounder like Natasha. She’s a faster pilot, but he’s far steadier at the helm. He can shoot any weapon, and unless it’s the first few times he’s using that type, he’ll hit the bullseye every time. Some think he’s Force-sensitive to explain how he’s such a good marksman, but he denies any sort of connection. Clint’s hearing was damaged as a teenager from an explosion he was near.

Bruce: He’s a scientist and rarely goes into the field, unlike Tony. He only joined the Rebel forces after his experiment on himself failed. He’d tried replicating the First Order’s human experiments, like the ones done on Steve, based off of the rumors and little excerpts he could find.

Thor: He’s a Jedi Knight, the most powerful/only one the Rebellion has. His brother Loki was also trained as a Jedi, but Loki defected to the Dark Side. Thor is good as a mechanic (to fix things, not create them).

Rhodey: He’s an exemplary pilot and a decent shot. He’s usually paired with Tony because they’re childhood friends; he can read Tony and Tony’s various moods better than most people. He’s the one that dragged Tony into the Rebellion because of his strong sense of justice.

Sam: He’s an up-and-coming pilot and Steve’s understudy to eventually lead the Avengers. He joined the Rebellion when his friend, Riley, got killed by the First Order. He’s good with weapons but his melee fighting needs work.

When the storylines meet up

Approximately a year after the twins join the First Order, Ultron gets wind of them. He decides he’ll train them and kills Strucker for disobedience and the attempted mutiny. The twins are put off by this (Strucker had kept them isolated so they didn’t really know what the First Order was ever doing), and when Ultron tells them of his experiments, they start thinking they’ve made a mistake.

The Avengers have gotten the word about Ultron’s experiments, since they’d been tracking him since he defected, and they know they have an opening to attack Ultron’s Star Destroyer ship when he completed his new body.

When the twins see Ultron’s new body, they know they need to leave the First Order and to take the body with them/away from Ultron. Their plan to escape and steal the body before Ultron can upload his programs into it coincidentally coincides with when the Avengers attack.

Basically the bare bones of AoU’s plot but in space lol: The Avengers get the body, the twins, and Cho out of the Star Destroyer, but Pietro dies going back to get Natasha and Clint (since he was the best pilot in good enough condition). Tony wakes the body with Thor and Bruce’s help, putting his J.A.R.V.I.S. AI into it. Ultron was far more successful in designing an android (Cho says he’s more along the lines of a synthetic human instead of an android, and Vision prefers that term as well) that could use the Force.

Thor teaches Vision how to meditate, and he’s left in isolation until the kyber crystal in his forehead changes color from red (or if kyber crystals can’t change colors one they have one (and this is based off of the knowledge that Jedis make their light sabers and mediate with the crystal to get it to represent them - so if they can’t change from red to a different color, then the original blue hue of an unused kyber crystal goes here)) to yellow (meaning he has a balanced effort between scholarly and physical pursuits). Wanda is also left in isolation with a kyber crystal to test where her loyalties lie. Hers changes to purple (which means she’s in a gray area, will use both Dark and Light techniques). It also means she has to work for others to trust her more, but Clint accepted her right off the bat, as did Vision and Thor.

Both Vision and Wanda join The Avengers, being trained by literally everyone in their various fields of expertise (ex. Clint teaching them to shoot, Thor teaching them in the Force, Nat teaching them stealth, etc).

For the lightsaber designs, I gave Vision a saberstaff (one that can be split into two normal lightsabers) because it’s difficult to master. I felt like it fit him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I gave Wanda a lightsaber with a curved hilt because the angle the blade comes out at often confuses opponents and gives better precision to the wielder. As for their clothes designs, I tried to keep Vision a little more respectful to the Jedi robes while retaining his MCU color scheme. Wanda I kept a little more free because she’s in the gray area... and her color scheme is not applicable, at all, to the Jedi robes (more applicable to the Siths) lmao. Since red is an integral part of her character, I couldn’t change it. I left in little things tho (the hood on her overcoat, making her shirt long and her pants a shade of brown).

But yeah, that is all the background info I collected and built upon for this au... Probably at least 90% was already around when I saw the Valentine’s Day prompt lol. So, anon who posted it, if you’re reading this, thank you for the kick in the butt I needed. Hope you’ve at least somewhat enjoyed this lol.

sf9 stands for “sensational feeling 9,” they’re an idol group under fnc entertainment that debuted on october 6, 2016. before debut they were in a program called neoz school as the neoz dance team, along with 4 other trainees that made up the neoz band team (now honeyst, check them out they’re great!) the two groups then entered the survival show dance or band (d.o.b) to get a chance at debut. the dance team won by a very close vote so they got to debut first. in korea, sf9 has released one single album, called feeling sensation, and two extended plays, called burning sensation and breaking sensation. in japan, they’ve recently released two singles, fanfare and easy love. they are currently holding fanmeetings around asia and will be at kcon la next month!

Sorry for taking so long. This was a big list and I wanted to make sure I answered everything correctly. (Link to the prompt)

1. Fav color?

Diana - periwinkle, it’s the perfect combination between her other two favorite colors, blue and pink. Alistair - orange, it reminds him of the sun setting and rising; he finds that really relaxing to watch..

2. Does your OC collect anything?

Diana - she sometimes collects crystals. They grow all around the kingdom she lives in. Some act as elements for spells and supernatural powers. Alistair - around the winter time, he’ll collect whatever he can that can provide him warmth, otherwise he’d be stuck with nothing but the clothes on his back.

3. Allergies? Honestly, neither are allergic to anything. Being a magical being, Diana doesn’t get sick too often, and Alistair has a pretty good immune system himself.

6. Favorite animal? least favorite animal? In the monster world, there are some monsters that act like pets and wild animals, so I’ll use those instead, as there aren’t any animals you’d find on Earth in that world.

Neither Diana or Alistair have a favorite “animal”, but they do have a least favorite.

Diana - there’s a creature called a Narx that’s like a large rat about the size of a small dog (this was also an earlier character, but now they’ll be a minor character later in the story). They rummage through garbage and live mostly in urban areas. Like most monsters, she sees them as pests, but would never try to hurt them, especially if they haven’t done anything to her.

Alistair - I won’t say this is his least favorite, but he has had bad experiences with them, Ogrehunds (i.e. Victoria’s pet, Princess). It’s the really big ones he dislikes because they can be the most aggressive and territorial.

8. OC’s theme song? I’d like to use video game BG music to answer this (I have other ideas, but this helped narrowed my choices down).

18. Greatest fears? Strengths? Weaknesses?

Diana - greatest fear, being trapped in an endless black void; extreme darkness really unsettles her. Greatest strength, communication skills. She’s a very social creature with a lot of other monsters on her side, and not just because she’s a well know queen. She’s also given the community copious amounts of sincerity and solicitude. Her greatest weakness would be her emotions. She’s got a lot of passion in her, and that can lead to her making some impulsive decisions and reactions.

Alistair - greatest fear, needles or getting a shot; never liked them as a kid and doesn’t like them now. Greatest strength, his agility; he can think quick on his feet if he’s focused and can escape dangerous situations easily. Greatest weakness, sometimes his sympathy towards others; he’s prone to being fooled by people who pretend to be more pitiful than him.

20. If they came from their world to ours (if not already in our’s) how would they react? What would they do? Diana - she’d try her best to blend in with the human’s customs; she takes respecting other’s cultures very seriously. Then she’d politely ask the natives what they do normally in their free time, or what kind of social activities humans do. Alistair - he’d find humans really weird looking. He’s be baffled by the lack of claws, fur, scales, wings, etc. The first thing he’d do is look for food, might even go up to a human directly and ask them where he could get something to eat. Then he’d find a nice alley to rest at.

21. What personal problems/issues do they have? Pet peeves?

Diana - personal issues, she longs for a soulmate; her father wants her to be with someone that’s the same species of her, but same species relationships don’t matter to her. Pet peeves, when people call her a princess instead of a queen. It’s one thing when it’s an accident, but when people call her that in a condescending way, that’s when it gets her annoyed.

Alistair - personal issues, a lot of people judge him for his reckless behavior, and he uses that as an excuse for expressing himself. He hates admitting it, but sometimes that behavior of his does more harm than good. Pet peeves, when people call him reckless solely because he’s a Ghoul.

23. Random fact about OC?

Diana - she doesn’t eat meat of any kind, excluding insects and spiders, which she rarely eats anyway. A Beelzebats diet consists of mostly of fruits and vegetables.

Alistair - sometimes tiny creatures will crawl in his hair and make themselves at home — and he won’t even notice! He’ll even eat them if he gets hungry.

25. What inspired you to create them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fan character? What was their personality / design like when you first made them?

Diana - well she’s based off some fan art of a character that belonged to someone else, then I wanted to make a character a bit similar to that character I drew. After that, she kind of spun into something a little more original. I wanted her to be a pop star queen who had a very seductive personality. She was a little bit skinnier too, but now I like drawing her a little plump and voluptuous.

Alistair - he was inspired by an old OC of mine that was created about a year before I came up with Never Normal. When I decided to put him in the story, he had Henrik’s role, a waiter at a monster themed restaurant/bar (Henrik was not imagined at that time, btw). After some development, I gave him a bigger role, and he became Pip’s “guardian angel”. His appearance was more human like and he was barely a monster. Originally he was an undead person, a human that was killed in the monster world and brought back to life. I made him a monster afterwards. As for his personality, he was more gentleman like, and much wiser in the past.

30. Do they want to get married? Why or why not? Would they ever want kids? Do they have kids? Why?

Diana - she’d most definitely want to get married and start a family of her own. She loves kids and hopes be a mother one day.

Alistair - he wouldn’t mind getting married, but he’s not too sure about having kids. It’s not that he hates kids, he just doesn’t like all that responsibility put on him.

33. Would they ever kill someone? What would someone have to do to push them to kill someone? If they would kill someone, why?

Diana would try her best to avoid killing any living creature, but if they were to post any threat to the monsters in her kingdom, she would do whatever it takes to protect them.

Alistair, on the other hand, wouldn’t hesitate to kill someone that threatened to hurt the ones he cared about. When he fights back, he fights back hard, and Ghouls can be deadly if they fight too viciously.

37. What’s something that your character does, that other people don’t normally do? Being nocturnal, Diana sleeps during the day and wakes up when dusk arrives. Alistair loves high places and will sometimes climb up buildings in the city just for fun or to relieve stress.

38. What would your character do with a million dollars? Diana would most likely donate it to someone who needs it; she’s already pretty wealthy herself. Alistair would use it to find himself a home, then save most of it for later.

40. Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where are they going? What do they wear? Who will they be with?

Diana - if she were going somewhere fancy and on a date, she’s wear something classy and formal. If she went to a nightclub, she’d most likely go in her usual purple dress with a few accessories. Her clothes have to be custom made because she’s one of the more larger monsters, and not a lot of stores have her size. She doesn’t have many “close” friends, but there’s almost always a small group of monsters hanging out with her when she’s out and about.

Alistair - he’ll never dress fancy for anything, and will most likely be late for the occasion. He goes to a lot of places alone and not too many monsters would volunteer to go out with him. He’d prefer a night out somewhere outside; interiors have strange smells that he has a hard time getting used to and it only makes him anxious and distracted.

41. What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?

When Diana gets really angry, her emotions can make her telekinetic powers go haywire. Stuff will fly around, break, and even explode.

Alistair doesn’t get all that angry unless he’s defensive about something. he can go from totally calm to rage within seconds. His appearance changes as well; his eyes will change colors, his teeth will get longer, and will behave much more savage like. This is a natural trait for Ghouls though, but he’s capable of maintaining self control since he was raised outside his natural habitat.
