A Streams Psyche [FLEEK AU]

Introduction to the Fleek AU and what's to come (this was so fun to write hiii)

Honestly, Creek’s never been a huge fan of Branch.

At first, it wasn’t personal at all, or at least he didn’t mean for it to be, he just didn’t like how Branch treated his friends. He was always such a grouch and he was such a downer at every given moment, and it was such a drag to listen to over and over again. If anything, Creek was grateful that Branch typically barricaded himself from everyone else, I mean, if he wasn’t going to be positive, then what was the point of having him around? And yet that never seemed to stop Poppy, her being the future Queen of pop and also his best companion.

Poppy always seemed adamant on having Branch join their crew and changing his ways. While he never really understood why she wanted to so badly, he couldn’t help but admire her attitude. Something about the peppiness always brought a smile to his face, and he always supported her decisions as a best friend should. Usually though, it never seemed to work in her favor. Branch always blew her off and gave a stink eye to her and everyone else, and quite frankly it got on Creek’s nerves.

He always did his best to cheer up Poppy whenever it happened, finding it strange how upset she gets over it. Why should she even care if he doesn’t? What was the need to show emotion over someone that didn’t even matter in the long run? Regardless of his thoughts, he succeeded often in bringing back her spirits, the gang usually partying together the remainder of the night as a result. Creek always greatly enjoyed their company, and loved to share his exercises with everyone, his life seemed perfect.

That was until the bergens attack on Pop village.

Even now, he remembered that day so vividly. Poppy had planned a gigantic celebration for the village to party over them being free from the monsters for so many years. Everyone was so excited to join in on the festivities, everyone except the one who he can’t even think about anymore without clenching his jaw.

Branch.

As usual, that damned troll was set on ruining the rest of their fun, claiming how they’re being far too loud and the bergens would get them. Same shit as usual, it was incredible how Creek didn’t gain a headache from the repetitiveness of it. He’s tried before to talk some sense into the troll, but Branch always shoved him away, seemingly as if he were more irate with him than anyone else, which was pretty confusing to Creek.

Branch, of course, had ended up retreating back to his lonesome bunker, and the rest of the group set up in preparation for the lovely party. And what a party it was, it would’ve been one for the books if the attack hadn’t happened right after. Before much notice, he saw the yellow beady eyes looking down at everyone, and all he can recall is the screams of his friends and the pleas for help which were left unanswered.

Next thing he had known, he and his buddies were stuffed into a back, shaking with fear and breathing hard, their fate unknown. He remembers not reacting as strongly as his friends had back then. Really, he remembered only thinking of how to relax everyone and for them to have an open and clear mind. How come he hadn’t really processed how awful the situation had been?

Whatever hope he had given his companions started to dwindle the more time went on, especially when everyone had been thrown into a cage, a bergen staring down at them. Even in that situation, Creek had been adamant on everyone remaining calm, and that help would be there soon. He didn’t know if he was even being honest with himself at that moment, he already knew how hopeless the situation had been. And the problem only cemented itself when he was grabbed to be eaten by the Bergens king.

The moment was instant, he remembered his friends shouting and crying out his name and it all became muffled as the world around him darkened. Originally he had thought he had shut his eyes only to realize he was inside the king's mouth. He was terrified, for the first time in his life, and he could do nothing but accept his fate. Only.. the king’s mouth didn’t do anything. He hadn’t chewed, or swallowed, and it left Creek puzzled.

He still had time! He let out a deep inhale before using all of his core strength to push against the walls of the mouth, letting out a guttural scream until he found himself falling out of it, being met with the two bergens, and the fear kicking back into gear. What was the plan at that point? They were skyscrapers compared to him, running was out of the question. All he could do in that moment was beg for his life, pleading mercy and willing to do anything to be granted such.

It seemed to have been a running thing through his life, the will to do anything he could in order to get what he wanted. In this case, that was making out of this alive.

And so, he had made a deal to spare pop village and everyone in exchange to live. He truly wished it didn’t have to be that way, not when he has achieved such a strong bond with the others, but he didn’t have any other choice in the matter, so he reluctantly agreed. The next time he had seen everyone, they were all ecstatic to see that he was still alive, and he couldn’t help but smile despite the circumstances. It was short-lived however, when his eyes traveled to Branch, who seemed shocked and… annoyed that Creek was there.

Really? Even after everything he was still acting like that? Before he had known it, Branch was exclaiming Creeks’ betrayal, his hair wrapping around Creeks neck harshly, cutting off his circulation to breathe. Relief overflooded him when Poppy had pushed Branch back and tried to talk reason into him. When everyone turned over to him however, he wasn’t quite sure of what to say.

He… didn’t want to lie so he told them the truth of his betrayal, but it was for good reason. He hadn’t been able to get another word in before Poppy was doing the exact same assault Branch was previously. That was expected from Branch, but from HER? His heart was shattering, wondering where his Poppy had gone. She would never have acted like this towards him before, this must’ve been all his doing. He must’ve been changing her.

Why?

Why was she acting like that towards him? Surely she would’ve understood he didn’t have a choice in the matter, he would die otherwise! He insisted that the other trolls would’ve done what he had to if they were placed in his situation. When Branch had resisted her, Creek’s head felt like it was going to blow when he saw him holding onto Poppy like that. What the hell gives, exactly? It wasn’t like this until only now, and it confused the hell out of him.

If anything, HE should’ve been the one to be angry in this situation. None of them had done anything to save him from his supposed doom, they all thought he was dead, after all. And, while he may not have enjoyed having to betray pop village, he felt a bit of sadistic glee when it involved Branch being part of the equation, especially now. After all, he made all of his friends hate him, telling them things behind his back. Things that showed Creek was the villain in the scenario, which he couldn’t help feel were ridiculous. SURELY they all would’ve done the same in this scenario, right? Right? Branch would’ve, definitely! He didn’t like ANY of them until only recently, apparently.

The thought of it all made his head spin, he hated it. He hated him. None of this would’ve happened if it weren’t for that fucker. Creek could’ve calmed his friends down about the betrayal if not for HIS outburst. He wouldn’t have already been rooted against if not for Branch, his friends would’ve believed him, surely. Maybe… maybe this all was for the best! Yeah, yeah that’s it! At least in this way, Creek could properly punish Branch for all he believed was his fault, and maybe, just maybe, he could change Branch to their side once and for all, a feat Poppy wasn’t able to achieve so he would do it for her instead. Then… everything would return to normal.

He had hoped at least that everything would return to normal.

Creek ended up returning to Pop village and doing what had to be done, which he felt sorrow for, at least that’s what he showed. It wasn’t really known how he was feeling about it all, but he did pity them all for being so weak and powerless in the situation.

Some time later he finds that plans went south, and he was rolling out of the bergens kingdom with their chef, who was on fire. It was yet another moment of blink fast and you’d miss it. That was also the moment he realized that he didn’t need to betray them at all and everyone was still alive, which gave him momentary happiness, only for it to dwindle at the fact that everyone was leaving him to die. All he could do at that point was to scream along with the other bergen until the fire was put out and she was dead. Except that’s not exactly what happened. For some reason, the fire hadn’t killed her, which was a bit of a shock to him. It might’ve been due to the rough and thick skin of the bergens, but he wasn’t entirely sure. Regardless, since she was out of it from the pain, he thought he could maybe make an escape.

That was until he felt her cold and bony hand grab him, preparing to finish the job and eat him herself. God, he was just going to die no matter what he did, huh? How was any of it fair at all?

The moment was thankfully short-lived, or at least so he thought, as he felt both of them falling down into a pit. The bergen had died almost instantaneously, sinking down into the stomach acid of the creature that had swallowed them both. He had more time to react than her about it, his small stature having him fall down at a slower pace. With quick thinking he gathered his hair strength to break out, but he still gained acid burns from being in there already. He screamt from the pain but was desperate to get out, to live.

He eventually had made it out of the monster's pit, gasping heavily as he had access to basic air once more, thanking whatever entity above him that was giving him a second chance at life. The troll had focused on tending to his wounds, letting out a hiss of agony at every touch, but it needed to be done. Once he had finally had a chance to think properly once more after his second near-death experience, it washed down on him like a dam.

None of them cared if he died, hell, it seemed as if nobody even realized he was gone. What could he do from here? He certainly couldn’t have returned to pop village, at least not right now. If they were willing to give him up to a bergen, then they’d likely execute him on the spot for his ‘crimes’. All he could do right now was prepare for his eventual return, knowing that whenever that may have been, there was no going back to the way things used to be. His relationship with them all had been completely severed, and the way he could feel about things felt more warped than ever.

In the months and the year it took until he returned, he practiced learning basic expressions, reacting to things suddenly and unreasonably to see their effect on others. How to truly react to things became null to him ever since that day, and it was a struggle to come across as normal afterwards. Nevertheless, he persisted, adamant on changing people's minds on him, and getting them to love him once more.

As expected, his return was at first unwelcomed, him being met with Branch yet again, who was right at Poppy’s side. He couldn’t help but scoff mentally at the fact he was replaced with THIS troll of all things, but he kept his calm and cool stature, claiming guilt and being apologetic to everyone, even though he still didn’t really believe he did anything wrong. It was a stressful situation after all, still, he let them know he was willing to repent for everything and do whatever it takes to gain back everyone’s trust once more. Branch’s face during that moment couldn’t help but creep into Creek’s mind, remembering its vile expression clearly.

For the most part, everything had been calm. He worked hard and dutifully, really gaining back his place back into the village. It was going according to his plan beside the.. Setbacks. For some reason, anytime he saw Branch, there was the unbridled and raw rage that built inside of him. Sure, he could just stay away from where Branch is, but it’s not that easy unfortunately. Not when he’s constantly walking behind Poppy like a mutt. That is also not to mention Branch had recently reunited with his family members, his brothers.

Oh great, there’s more of them multiplying. They’re like amoeba. Disgusting, filthy amoeba.

It seemed that no matter what Creek did, he was always met with Branch’s face in one way or another. Sometimes it got so bad that he lost sleep due to it. He’s also had violent spells on his lonesome just thinking about it all, punching at walls and ripping out his hair just to do something about the thing he had no control of. That was getting pretty old though, and he decided if he couldn’t get away from Branch, he should work on ways of getting rid of him.

There was one brother that Creek didn’t seem to mind, whose name was Floyd. Floyd was the second youngest brother, according to Branch, and was also quite the apathetic being. Creek never intended getting close or even talking to him, but one thing led to another and it turned out that they could connect pretty well. Floyd would always check up on him, and even started doing yoga, which made Creek overjoyed. Nothing else was expected of their partnership, that is until he had noticed how uncomfortable it had made Branch. Not only that, but Poppy even talked to Branch about how nothing could be done because Creek wasn’t hurting anyone. The comment of her not liking him either stung, but was quickly wiped once he realized what this could mean for him.

This was it. THIS was how he could fix his issue with Branch, it all made sense! Creek hated seeing Branch happy, and that must be where all of the rage came from! If Branch were in ruins however, then Creek could return back to normal, even feeling a bit of joy from it. His friendship with Floyd was enough to unsettle Branch, so why not take it a step further? He could start flirting with him, taking him out on dates, hell, maybe one day he could even ask for his hand in marriage. Oh, Creek bet that would kill Branch. The thoughts in his head raced with ideas for what he could plan with Floyd, and it made him positively giddy.

If only he had known what this all would’ve done to him, then maybe he would’ve rethought everything.

Listing a few funny things that happened when Angel had to deal with the media, post rescuing everyone from Playtime Co:

Angel, still shaking from spending one week inside the factory and with dried blood still glued to their hair, smelling like hell, politely answering some questions while in the hospital while waiting for Dogday's emergency surgery to finish.

The media being obsessed with calling Angel, whose actual name is Raphael Taylor de Oliveira, "Angel" the moment they hear one of the toys referring to them as that.

Combine the religious imagery with Angel's poor little meow meow wet kitten born in a cardboard box with every disease face and we have a very, very easy way for making the narrative out to be "a kind ex-worker at Playtime Co. discovers that children were used as experiments inside the factory and risks their own life in order to save them".

Angel is instant-loved by Brazil the moment the first news start to arrive, which is something they're very proud of.

Angel having to hold Catnap and Mommy Long Legs by their hands while giving out an interview in their home, so neither one of them would be too mean to the poor reporters. Angel still has to tell them to be nicer though.

The cops and investigators having to explain why they didn't figure out there was something wrong with the factory when all Angel had to do was walk inside and say hello to the Huggy Wuggy statue.

A reporter explaining the horrific events while in the background Huggy stares at her like "smoll person :0}" and boops her. Cue to Angel saying sorry and anxiously guiding him away.

"What did you have to eat while trapped down there?", someone asks, and the toys all go "oh hahahaha. uhm. rats. and the bodies of our friends WHEN THEY INEVITABLY DIED FROM A DISEASE. we didnt hunt each other dw dw hahahahahaha".

Angel a few months later, after buying the farm, giving a "house tour" so people will know the kids are doing okay and stop pestering them about house-related questions. Angel is very excitedly telling the reporter about how much more space they have now while Catnap is eyeing a bird in the background. "Theo don't you think about that, you have food right there".

One of the mini critters listing all the toys that were gifted for them and saying "it's very nice, very chewable", I like how it tastes" and Angel looks at them like "so it's YOU who has been chewing the toys??????", with the reply being "and the doors as well!"

Catnap going from referring to Angel as "our savior" to simply "our mother" during any interviews or news reports where he somehow talks.

Everyone wanting to interview Dogday because he does, indeed, have a radiant and happy energy and audiences love him.

Angel saying "and the hut is the house of 1006, the first one to ever happen, but he would prefer if we just left him alone".

Poppy being someone who's always SUPER pleasant to work with, and excitedly telling the reporters everything they have been doing around the farm.

Angel sighing after finding out Prototype is Elliot Ludwig, KNOWING they'll have to tell the authorities so they can have license money and control over the Playtime Co. brand.

Angel turning to the family's lawyer like "you won't believe what I just found out", the lawyer saying "oh, this won't be the most absurd thing you told me yet", then after hearing Angel tell her about it going "oh, you are always full of surprises, uh. Uhm. Now that makes things complicated", and Angel laughing to the point of tears after that.

ALL the news reports during the trial against Playtime Co.'s higher ups and the negligent authorities. Kickin keeps a collection of the "best moments", which include Angel beating the ever living shit out of a higher up after he refers to the toys as "things" and "collateral damage" instead of "victims of human experimentation".

The news about the fact that apparently Elliot Ludwig became the first PlayCo. experiment ever, and Angel + Poppy having to deal with THAT.

Prototype's single public apparition, around 4/5 years post-rescue, because he had to go to court as well so Angel would have a chance of getting the rights to PlayCo. and all of its properties back to them.

The news when Dogday and Catnap get married, a whole decade post-rescue.

Angel just dropping the most cryptid information ever in social media or during one of the rare interviews they're willing to give after the initial years post-rescue. They tweet things like "I saw some people asking if any of the toys ever attacked me during the week I stayed at PlayCo, and I want everyone to know that all of them at some point did. But don't worry, I bit them back, we're all good now" and one time say "my husband and I like to grow tomatoes like this, but one of our daughters has been trying another way" and that's how everyone finds out Angel and Prototype are a Thing.

Craftycorn happily blogging her life as an artist and featuring all of the other toys during her videos, while Poppy does makeup and sewing tutorials, and the two of them doing collabs and livestreams often. During one of the streams Angel screams "THEODORE GRAMBELL LUDWIG OLIVEIRA DID YOU JUST HUNT A COYOTE AGAIN", and that's how Crafty and Poppy's fans discover everyone decided to add Ludwig Oliveira to their names.

While normal people go and socialize I wake up and think about ✨them✨

So there's some headcanons about my favourite Legacy Team (as I call them) for ya folks while I'm writing a really big fic about them. Careful, some of them are sad. And don't mind my poor grammar thanks.

And it's the only thing his parents tought him that he loves. Playing helps him to calm down

Though he can't see an actual game, Omi likes to go on a quidditch game, because of the happy energy around him

Is sick most of the time for some reason. Cold, stomach ache or anything really

Also a nerd. But unlike Sebastian he's a fiction lover. Helps him to escape reality, especially in his family's house

“Yandere wally sees their s/o keeps getting hurt by their own toxic friend group, (NOT THE NEIGHBORS JUST THE READERS OTHER FRIENDS) and Wally took "care" of the readers toxic friend and comforted them without THE reader knowing that wally killed them. Is this OK with you”

Trigger warnings: Swear words, blood, death, knife, Wally is crazy y'all.

You were loving this new neighborhood. Everyone was so kind and sweet towards you, one neighbor was especially nice towards you and that was the one and only Wally Darling. Both you and Wally always hung out either at his place or at your place. And as time passed by your feelings grew for him. But you were always so afraid to confess to him, you were afraid of rejection or ruining the friendship you had with him.

You really did love this place, but there was one thing you couldn't stand and that was your own very friend group. They constantly made fun of you, and you didn't know why you still hunged out with them. Maybe because your were afraid of them and didn't know a way out. But you didn't let them get to you. Well as much... Your little "friend group" consist of a leader called Amber and two other girls name Ashley and Alicia and of course you. (I'M SORRY IF THOSE ARE YOUR NAMES SOBS)

Walking around the neighborhood with a smile you waved at the neighbors. They smiled and waved back at you. Today was going to be a good day you were going to hang out with your friend Wally Darling, You guys were going to have a picnic. You didn't tell your other friends as you didn't want them joining you. Or finding out.

Also the other neighbors didn't seem to fond about these girls walking around the neighborhood and being bullies towards everyone. Everyone seemed so tried of them especially Wally...

You met Wally at your picnic spot, he was waiting for you. He smiled and waved at you. "Hello sweetie! I'm so glad you could make it!"

Smiling at him "Hey Wally! Sorry if I'm late!" You say, sitting down with him. Looking at the delicious snacks he bought. There was cake, cookies, sandwiches and plenty of juice! "Everything looks so good Wally, thank you!" You say blushing slightly.

"Thanks! Poppy helped me make this!" Wally said, grabbing you a cookie handing it to you. "It's chocolate chip."

"That's very sweet of her!" You say. Taking the cookie from and smile slightly. Wally looked at you and he could tell something was off.

"Is everything okay sweetie?"

You sigh and nodded slightly as you didn't want him finding out about your friends picking on you. "Y-Yeah everything is okay." Your voice cracking slightly.

He looked at you and he could tell you were lying, he knew you so well. But before he could get a other word a voice interrupted him "Hey losers!"

Wally looked and saw the bullies of the neighborhood...Amber and her stupid puppets.

You froze at the voice and look up and saw Amber...and the other two minions. But before you could say a word Wally spoke up. "Hey! That's not very nice of you! You don't speak to her like that!" His voice getting deeper..as if he was getting angry.

The other three girls couldn't help but laugh at both of you . "What? You guys can't be like this. Why weren't we invited?" Amber said. "We love hanging out with you guys! Especially with our friend Y/N!" She laughed.

"It's because I don't want your nasty attitudes ruining this beautiful picnic, now if you may please leave us alone. We were enjoying our time alone." Wally growled at them.

Amber couldn't help but frown at his comment and then laugh. "But we're friends with Y/N! Come on guys!" She said. "Yeah she's our friend!" Both Ashley and Alicia said.

You just sat there. With your head down, why did they have to come. Why are they so mean towards you? "Can you guys just leave!" You snap at then. "I don't want you guys here!"

"Excuse me! What makes you think you can talk to me like that! You stupid girl!" Amber snapped at you.

"She can talk to how ever she wants! Now leave US ALONE...NOW" Wally said, as he finally stood up and walked towards Amber. Giving her a death glare. He's gonna make them pay.

"CAN IT RAGDOLL! I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU!" Amber yelled at him, Wally's blood went cold. "Screw off you bug eye freak!" She quickly added. Making the other girls laugh.

"MAYBE YOU GUYS SHOULD FUCK OFF AND LEAVE US ALONE!" You finally yell at them. For once you stand up for yourself. Everyone was shocked but soon Amber made a face and she then snapped her fingers. Making the other two minions destroy your guys's food. They smashed everything and left nothing.

Both Wally and you were shocked. Not expecting that. Wally looked over at them. His pupils growing. He was smiling Big. It was kinda creepy. But he stayed calm...for now.

Amber looked at Wally as her blood went cold, his look gave her chills. But she shook it off "Come on guys, let's leave these pathetic rag dolls." Amber laughed and walked off with the other two girls following behind her. "Let's leave Y/N and her ugly bug eye boyfriend alone." And with that you guys were alone.

"I'm sorry this is my fault!" You began crying. Quickly Wally was by your side. "I'm sorry Wally. I didn't want to ruin this day."

"Oh no no no!! It's not! Those girls are just mean." Wally said, rubbing your back.

"I don't know how to leave them. I keep trying to but they keep coming back." You sigh. Wiping your tears away and look at him. You really loved the fact that he stood up for you. "But thank you for standing up for me. I really did appreciate it."

"Of course darling! But I'm sure they'll leave you alone... eventually." His voice cracked slightly. He looked at you and sighed. He couldn't believe that they ruined everything. This was the day he wanted to confess to you. Confess his feelings.

"Hey Y/N. Can I tell you something." Wally asked you. You look at him and nodded. "I know this isn't the right time but the only reason why I wanted this picnic is because I wanted to confess my feelings to you." He took your hand and looked into your eyes. "I really like you...Y/N. I hope you can return these feelings too."

You were shocked. He had feelings for you? You blush at him comment and look down and sigh. "I have feelings for you too. I just couldn't tell you."

Wally smiled at your comment, he wanted to hug you and kiss you but he had to control himself. "So does this mean you'll be mine?" He asked you.

You nodded and smiled. Already forgetting what happened a few minutes ago. But Wally didn't...

"Maybe we can try this again tomorrow? But at my place?" He asked you. To which you nodded and agreed.

"Now run along sweetie, I'll clean up here. You just take it easy. And please rest up." He cooed softly. Helping you up. "I'll give you a call tomorrow morning sweetie."

"Thank you Wally. I'll see you tomorrow then." You say and placing a kiss on his cheek and walk off.

Wally just stood there for a few moments, he was angry. Blood boiling, those brats are going to pay...in blood. He made sure to clean up the mess they made and made his way back to the neighborhood, he has a huge smile plastered all over his face.

As night time rolled around Wally quietly made his way out of his house and walked towards Ambers house, the good thing is that the three of them lived in the same household, it just makes things easier for him. He giggled to himself as he held a bag of goodies.

Wally made his way inside the house, he was quite as a mouse. Good thing everyone was asleep. He had to make this quick before one of them starts a commotion. The yellow puppet walked around the house and looked in every room for them. And soon after he smiled as he saw them sleeping In one room. Stupid girls...

They looked so peacefully. He'll make sure they rest for a long time. With one quick motion he pulled out a knife from the bag and ending Ashley and Alicia lives. Giving them a quick death. It's the least he could do.

And that just left Amber...he walked towards her sleeping body and smiled. He stared for awhile and laughed to himself.

Amber slowly started to wake up. As she saw a figure standing in front of her. She was too sleepy to notice Wally. "What do you guys want?" She said, thinking it was one of her friends. "I'm trying to sleep, go back to sleep "

"Oh, don't worry dear Amber your friends are resting well."

She quickly got up and turned on the lamp by her bed on. Seeing Wally with a knife. And behind him she saw her friends dead bodies. She was about to let out a scream until Wally placed a hand over her mouth.

"Shut it you rotten girl." He hissed. "How dare you pick on my SWEETHEART!" He removed his hand and pointed the knife at her. Grabbing her hair and pulling it hard. Ripping a handful of hair.

She was crying already "I'm sorry...please I won't do it again! I promise!" She was begging him, she didn't know this freak was crazy.

"Oh I know you won't." He said smirking at her. But before she could say anything else he lunged towards her, stabbing her. She whimpered as the knife stabbed her. He removed the knife and blood poured out.

"You're one rotten apple and you and your friends deserve nothing but death and misery." And with that she dropped dead. Wally then cleaned the knife, disgusted by her blood.

"I'll always protect what's mine" He said to himself.

The next morning!

It was the next morning and everyone seemed so happy, well happier than usual. You didn't know why but I guess it was just a good day. You greeted everyone and they greeted you back. As you walked around the neighborhood you came across Ambers house. It seemed like it was abandoned, that no one was there. How odd.

Could it be!!! They finally moved!

You felt relief, you had to tell Wally. You ran towards his house and knocked at the door. "Home! Is Wally there, I need to talk to him! It's important!"

Home creeks and opens the door, you smile and thank Home. You made your way in and yelled for Wally. "WALLY!"

He came in running in "What is it sweetie? Did something happen?" He asked you.

You nodded and spoke up. "AMBERANDHERTWOMINIONSAREGONE!! IT'SLIKETHEYMOVEDAWAY!!!" You say in one go, out of breath.

Wally couldn't help but laugh slightly "Okay, breath sweetie. What happened. Slowly."

"Amber and her minions are gone, well their house seems like it's been abandon. As if they finally moved away.!!" You cheered on. Finally you can go through you day peacefully and not worry about your bullies. It was a dream come true!

Wally looked at you, he was holding back his laughter. He couldn't let you know the truth. "Really? Hmm, maybe they realized that no one in the neighborhood really liked them, and I guess they moved." He said, but Wally couldn't help but think about last night.

"I can finally go through a day without being worried about them." You say and hug Wally.

Wally hugged you back and smiled. "Hmm. Maybe we should celebrate? I'll make my special apple pie just for you." He smiled, you nodded and grab his hand and walk towards the kitchen.

He stared at you, he loved you and he would do anything for you. Even get his hands dirty. But he'll always protect you no matter what.

"Nothing can come between us and no one is ever going to hurt you." He thought to himself smiling.

Not quite sure what you're asking.. so I'll just answer in multiple ways!

My favorite movies of all time are Pixars cars 1 and 3. I cannot watch either without crying 😭 they are my absolute favorites and I hold them very close to my soul 💖

Still to this day, even after all this time, Gravity Falls is my top favorite show. Despite all the cringe I made for it back in the day- it still holds up as my most beloved show I've ever drawn about.

As for fandom, like the people? I thiiiink the FNAF fandom was my favorite to interact with..? I remember a lot of interaction with the fans in general, which meant a lot to me :)

She is indeed a kid, but that's becuase all I had to go off of was her info picture and fanart I saw of her. For some reason a lot of art I saw of Sally depicted her as this total gremlin character that's always getting into trouble.

So I thought hey! Why not make it so she fell to "Earth" as a little tot and was raised by Poppy? In present day she could be like 13-15 and her chaotic energy would make sense and be fun to mess with!

Though after watching GTlive do a vid on the Halloween update, I realize that I wrote her personality completely wrong. Sooo I miiight need to rework her entire story and character- whoops! <XDD

BROZONES BACK- new positions

Okay so I’ve seen the movie 9 times in theaters(as of like 20 minutes ago lol) and since the band is back together I was thinking about what roles the boys would have now that they’ve grown up and are completely different from when they were kids!

(These are my opinions don’t be mean to me I’ve been thinking of this movie nonstop the past month and a half)

JOHN DORY - the fun boy(man)!

Hear me out! That man is goofy. From the ways he tried to break Floyd’s diamond prison to the way he runs up to branch during the wedding(seriously why did he hop towards him?). Even his expressions are silly! Plus being the old sibling IS really difficult. I think he deserves to shut his brain off and run around for a bit. As a treat!

BRUCE- the baby(daddy)!

LISTEN I KNOW THAT SOUNDS WEIRD. But like Bruce has so much responsibilities outside of the band, I think he’d love a position without any responsibilities or rules(i.e. heartthrob 💔)

CLAY- the sensitive/serious one!

This is not surprising at all, but Clay thrives when people respect him and he’s helping people. He literally was co-running an entire town of trolls. Also his sad book club where he cries and hugs the whole time!?!? If he was in a Kpop group, his fans would go WILD. (also he gives me Wonwoo vibes cuz he’s funny, but serious Yanno?)

FLOYD- the heartthrob!

I’m not gonna say it, but y’all get what I mean. Actually I will say it he’s literally emo with pink hair and leather shorts… if he were a person and I saw him irl I’d combust. Plus he’s genuinely such a sweetheart, he’d knock everyone off their feet!

BRANCH- the leader!

Also not surprising I think! Branch has already stepped up in leadership roles in the past movies(got poppy her colors back in first movie, standing up to the clown in tbt, standing up to poppy in twt to protect the pop trolls). Leaders have to be understanding and branch was the first one to start accepting the other trolls music and grooving with it in trolls world tour. He also recognizes that being different isn’t a bad thing and his talk was the reason him and his brothers were able to sing the perfect family harmony! He’s also basically the king of the pop trolls(just waiting on the wedding<3). Also ALSO he’s always in the middle. Like when they’re performing they give the others a spotlight for a second but the main choreo has branch front and center.

No because something tells me, his type of woman, that is, his preference is less dependant of physical attributes but more so on the personality. Like don’t get wrong, he does like what he sees, all the damn time too, but that wasn’t what made him fall for you. Geto prefers, in simple words, being the moth to a flame — Masochistic? Maybe, but just something about a love where it can and possibly does harm him initially intrigues him—he is the one of the strongest afterall, however could you hurt him? Oh, but you did—with pretend ignorance and mock obliviousness. I think Suguru prefers a girl who’s different to him—now, perceive this as you please, he could love a feminine person(not to be gender specific here but yk), at the same time, he likes louder ones—confident around everyone else and the ones that turn to a puddle around him. You see, it makes him feel alive. It makes him feel that he made you feel something and to him, is always more than enough. Suguru’s type is a person who’s like the breath of summer and the Night of A Spring.

It shouldn’t have happened, not really, not at all—not then.

Careful; he should’ve been careful, and alert. For now he sat in the corner of the room, in a part he didn’t want to be at—with people he didn’t know, wearing clothes he watched to tear apart and let his body breathe—but all on top of that, stood you.

“Wanna join me in this party tonight?” Glossed lips and bashful grin—it didn’t take much, or any persuasion for that matter for him agree. Now, he wasn’t sure why he agreed, or if he did at all and you just assumed his dazed nod, something very natural he’s gotten along doing you, to be a yes.

So now he sat alone in the corner, eyes drafting to every movement of yours, your hips swung— left, right,left —he’d been observing you for a while now, anyone observing him would deem him a stalker at this point.

“What is your type in women?” The question rang in his mind again—something, weirdly enough that had been bouncing back into his mind every few days—his type? He’d wondered then, not really sure.

But he knew now, one look at you and he knew what his type was. One look at you and your silly graphic t-shirt of some anime and he knew his favourite fandom; one look at your converse and he knew his next expenditure; one look at your hair and he knew his hands were perfect to braid them; one look at you and he knew, he knew, he wanted to wait.

Wait everything out—in midst of all that was happening, in the midst of a tragedy his eyes had spotted you. Trained themselves to even see you as he slept (I mean dream of you, not in a creepy way lol).

To where his mind once questioned his existence, he now lay wondering if you liked poppies better of roses. To where he once questioned running away, he now knew he’d run away to you. He could run away to you.

Suguru used to feel he was nothing but a sad, lonely, tired winter, trudging along until the better Spring came about—until the spring made people forget of him- until the winter was no more.

Wrong.

But then again, could you blame him at all? In those black sweatshirts and black pants he’d assumed he’d find himself dead- in that cold shivering winter he thought he’d end—in that gloom, he thought, he wouldn’t continue any longer, he couldn’t. He didn’t know, right? He didn’t know, didn’t want to know, if he could at all live to see another Spring.

When he saw you, the question wasn’t to catch a spring or no, but the fact that he managed to and he considered you his achievement, the most prized one. He could sit and deny it to himself, as he’d tried initially but no, he ached for you. Day and night, he ached for you.

So pitifully wrong he knew he was back then, as your form approached him, a grin on your face, “C’mere,” you’d shouted over the music—so wrong he was.

For while you pulled him closer on the dance floor, of a party he disliked, he clung onto you- his dark hair ruffling to your shoulders too—for just then he knew that you were his Spring. You made him forget about his lonely, tired winter, you made him breathe. As you wrapped your hands around his neck and danced close to him, nothing romantic and yet he wouldn’t complain because Suguru lived every moment spent, had it been around you, basking in your Spring.

And as he held you close, supporting himself with you, knowing you loved it too, he smiled.

“What’s your favourite colour?” You’d asked with a grin, brown raised and a chart in your hand, “We’re gonna paint your house that colour!”

He’d smiled, and before he could say anything at all, “Wait let me guess,” you chimed in quickly, “Yellow? The light kind,” a smile adored your lips, a squeal bursting to escape and it did too as he nodded with a chuckle.

Your arms found themselves wrapped around him, “I know you so well,” you’d laughed and stared into his eyes—he stared in to yours, knowing all too well that until the word ‘yellow’ had escaped your lips, he was sure he hadn’t known that colour properly at all. And now that you’d said ‘yellow’ he knew he’d fallen in love with a colour too—a colour of life, he’d smiled.

But the truth lay all too bare for until you had said the word ‘yellow’ Suguru hadn’t found his favourite colour at all.

Nomads AU! Poppy

Before you come at me for making her seem awful in this, it’s cause she’s missing a lot of character growth. which will come the more time she spends with Branch ( I honestly love Poppy❤️ she needs more recognition in her growth)

Her character is basically like first movie Poppy plus adding all the problems she had before growing as a character. In this au she had no Branch to help her grow (she has some development but not as much)

I mentioned Poppy a couple times before, but never really explained her. I’ve said the timeline stays the same except some characters replace Branch at times or not at all. In the first movie she gets hit with reality when everyone got captured and turned momentarily grey, but then Bridget saves the trolls which gives Poppy hope and she (plus everyone) gets there colors back then everything else plays out just without Branch.

The second movie she doesn’t listen to others and struggles on why being ✨queen✨ is so hard. She also pushes down trolls differences until the end where she kinda learns that difference does matter (she’s kinda learning guys give her some credit ) she gets saved by the snack pack in the end and barely learns to listen to others. The end plays out the same (the other leaders are very wary of her

The third movie she tags along (mostly cause Brozone was her fav band, not the best reason to help but oh well) to help Floyd. She doesn’t do much but learn how siblings have issues with each other , and get to experience how the Brothers are struggling to cope with there brothers “death” (her positivity did not help) She did get the message that life is not all cupcakes and rainbows due to this (Look at that Branch wasn’t even here and he taught her a lesson, good job man)😁 I’m gonna do a post on the movie summary later since a lot of stuff will go down.

She has a lot more toxic positivity. As in she won’t leave you alone until she deems you as “happy” it’s way worse since Branch isn’t there to show her sometimes it’s ok to be sad (the entire grey village is going to suffer through so many songs)

She doesn’t understand completely why the other tribes are so…different. I mean all Trolls are the same in her eyes. she just never says this to anyone though. She kinda understands what the funk trolls ment when they said “differences do matter” but not completely she just thinks everyone should be happy like pop trolls

She is a lot more pushy on boundaries (does not respect them) and has a hard time listening and understanding people’s problems (her optimism is kinda toxic to others, she pushes people’s problems down to try and make them happy )

She is kinda kinda..sorta (definitely) having a hard time as ✨queen✨. As she only thinks of the fun she never thinks about a lot of her other duties cause they’re BORING~!!!🥱 (which causes a lot of issues at times) she’s not the most responsible troll and is quite reckless.

But don’t worry she will change and get better over time (also ps Branch ain’t doing the greatest either, they’re both sooooooo messed up but they will grow together😌)

These two photos, of an iris and poppies (both flowers that are commonly used to represent Palestine) come from the Library of Congress's "Wild flowers of Palestine" collection. There's a bunch of other old flower photos on there too but I picked these because they are particularly common symbolism. I tweaked the contrast a bit to make them pop more and added the "فلسطين" label to each so the meaning of the photo is more apparent when you stick them on things. They're small photos so only available as stickers and magnets, here and here.

As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend (though she may attempt to travel back home soon, her immediate area has been fairly safe recently and she wants to be near her family) and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with. He's hoping to donate most/all of it if possible (plus more of his own money) but I want to make sure he has a financial safety net himself first until things are more certain. Grad school pays like shit (which is why I started this shop in the first place, I just switched it from raising money for me to him haha) and so many people he loves are in precarious positions.

RANT TIME

Okay, unpopular opinion that no one asked for but I have nowhere else to vent it so you're stuck with it time. I HATE the animated trolls shows, The Beat Goes On and Trollstopia. With a burning passion. I will admit, TBGO wasn't as bad as Trollstopia imo, but it was still bad. Why, you may ask?

Allow me to explain.

First off, let's start with TBGO. Now, since this comes after the first movie and we don't have a lot of context beyond it, I let a lot slide. But the main transgression I have is that this show brought Creek back. CREEK. Of all the MISERABLE LOUSY PATHETIC COWARDS to resurrect, they picked CREEK. WHY. Why was this necessary???? He adds nothing to the story beyond an annoying presence that makes me want to hurl my device like Captain America's shield. AND THEN, they make Branch the bad guy for not trusting him immediately. OF COURSE HE DIDN'T TRUST CREEK, THE SLIMY POS SOLD EVERYONE OUT TO SAVE HIS OWN SKIN. DID EVERYONE FORGET THAT!?!?! And then this leads to Branch having to APOLOGIZE to Creek and then eventually to them sort of becoming friends. THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. Every episode he was in I could feel myself losing braincells.

If you thought that was alot, stick around for my rant on Trollstopia because holy shit, where do I begin?

Now, the idea behind Trollstopia is actually a good one. Like hey, everyone is so spread out, how about a group from every tribe comes to live in the middle which happens to be Pop Village? Genius! And I will admit, in the beginning it seemed promising! And then, they fucked it up.

How, you may ask?

Simple. My point can be simplified to 2 main subjects:

They put WAAAYYYY too much effort into Poppy's relationships with literally EVERYONE ELSE and nowhere near enough into her relationship with Branch, HER BOYFRIEND.

They absolutely, totally, 110,000% DESTROYED Branch's character.

I shall now explain my stance. First off, we have point #1. Now, don't get me wrong. Poppy should absolutely have relationships with other trolls! She's the queen, for hair's sake! And I really did enjoy the fact that she made new friends and got really close with them. As someone who has eternally struggled with making and maintaining friendships, I loved seeing her do what I usually cannot. HOWEVER, this is no excuse to neglect her relationship with her actual fucking BOYFRIEND. Trollstopia takes place after TWT, after Branch and Poppy confessed and entered a relationship (if you wanna argue with me, look at the official Trolls Wiki, it'll back me up). But if you watch the show, you can barely tell they LIKE each other, let alone that they're dating. The show ran for 7 seasons and, out of those seasons, can anyone tell me a single episode where they were the focus? I won't even ask about them as a couple, just them interacting together being the focus! Poppy and her friends repeatedly bulldozed over Branch, his feelings, and his boundaries, constantly mocked him, and shit on anything he wanted to do. I swear at times it was like watching Trolls 1 Branch and Poppy interact.

Finally, my second point: Branch's character. They absolutely fucking took all of Branch's hard earned character development from 2 movies and a holiday special and went:

Wanna know how I know? What does Branch actually DO in Trollstopia? About every 10th episode, he shows up to offer a crappy sarcastic remark that pales in comparison to his usual ones and does one of 3 things:

Gets hurt

Gets made fun of

Acts like a total moron, and not in a cute way.

He's basically turned into Jay from the later seasons of Ninjago (my apologies Jay, I love you but you know it's true). I mean, in one episode he got his ass absolutely HANDED to him when he tried the rodeo! COME ON. The dude who caught a stick fired at him without looking and jumped in front of a death bolt to save Poppy got served by a fucking bull thing? Bullshit (no pun intended). To add onto this, when he's not being trampled and beaten for no fucking reason, he's being used for the most CRINGEWORTHY comedic relief. I mean really, there was a whole episode about how he wanted to be called a "cool nickname" by Lownote. Really? We really think that's in character? And to top it off, he gets stuck with "Skippy Two-Shoes". WHAT. THE. FUCK??? I almost had an aneurysm when I heard that. And everyone was fine with it!!!! Which leads into my last point, NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HIM DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE SAVED POPPY AND IS HER FUCKING BOYFRIEND. There was a whole fucking episode about him getting all pissed off at the Techno Trolls for taking over his lagoon in his bunker (which I have to say I'm jealous he has) to have "raves" at like 4am. WHO WOULDN'T BE PISSED OFF??? My upstairs neighbors bang around at all fucking hours of the day and it drives me insane so I get why Branch is mad! BUT WHY DOES NO ONE ELSE? Why is it when he complains he gets told that he's being "unfair" and has to "share"? Fuck that, he was there first! It's not like Trollstopia isn't huge, they can find somewhere else to infest at 4am!

In conclusion, I hate the animated shows because they destroy the relationship between Branch and Poppy and demolish all of Branch's character development, reducing him to the annoying sidekick that always gets cheered at when they get hurt or die tragically.

End of rant. Thank you for sticking with me, I needed to get that off my shoulders. Branch is my favorite character and it infuriates me that he gets the short end of the stick all the time. Enjoy this as a reward:

Since the Neighborhood are adventurers, I'd like to imagine they travel by sea a fair amount of times too! A nice boat trip while occasionally breaking out into a sea shanty, eh? (And for gits and shiggles, to keep up with the whole.. Eddie in water joke, I imagine the poor guy is clumsy enough to go overboard. He may not be unconscious during it, but it wouldn't make it any less funny with the group desperately trying to pull him back aboard-)

OH OH OH allow to ramble at length about this!!! what an idea!!! i fucking love boats & the ocean & being on the water so this ask is checking all my boxes rn

first i imagine that the length of their trips varies wildly, along with the quality due to the glorious variation in weather & bodies of water. and i'm choosing to believe this universe uses tall ships instead of like... fantasy steam ships. because i fucking love tall ships. the sails, the rigging, the elegance... an absolute bitch to maintain and maneuver <3

i imagine that depending on the ship, captain, and size of the crew, the Neighborhood may be required to help out to earn their keep. especially since they're a crew of nine eight, and some ships are woefully understaffed!

I'd imagine that Poppy sometimes takes the cook's job if the crew is currently lacking one (or if the cook wants a fucking break, jeebus it's a demanding job. there's a reason ship cooks in moves/tv are always stern & serious). Barnaby can probably charm his way into doing nothing but provide music/entertainment (much to Sally's aggravation). everyone else are plain deckhands

of course i imagine that that doesn't always happen! plenty of ships are probably content to just take their coin and tranport them. some of them (Eddie, Poppy) may still wheedle their way into helping out though. they strike me as characters that can't Not help

who i imagine loves their little water journeys: Barnaby, Wally, Sally, Wormie

hates it: Poppy, Howdy, Eddie

allow me to provide reasoning!!

Barnaby's impeccable balance probably means that he's stable as a rock even in choppy waters, and i'm reasoning that he doesn't get seasick either. his vestibular system is as solid as his sea legs! he probably finds the whole experience relaxing as anything. He gets to just recline on the bowsprit's base or wherever he isn't in the way & smoke/play his accordion/nap.

Wally just has such a love of life and new things, so why wouldn't he love being on the water? it's different! it's new every time! there are ample things to learn about and do! Home probably keeps his systems stable so that he doesn't have to deal with seasickness. though it probably takes him a little bit to find his sea legs... catch him stumbling around like a lil newborn lamb. sometimes he is facedown on the deck <3 i imagine he'd enjoy going aloft!

Sally would probably love the inherent romanticism and adventure of it all. Who knows what dangers and glory they may face! I bet she writes up a storm during this time - plenty of story material! food for the imagination! what does Anne say... Scope for the imagination, i believe! i bet she also loves having a captive audience. Literally. they're stuck on this ship with her <3

so many lines for Wormie to climb... so many little places to crawl into... new people to trick into giving her treats... down time where the Neighborhood is relaxing in one place. abundant time for affection!

Frank probably doesn't have strong feelings about it. It's a boring ship with no bugs or things to do. Except when he manages to rope crew members into having a lil impromptu fight club. Or when the Neighborhood is put to work - i wonder if he'd find the maintenance soothing or pleasant... or if he'd relish in the hard work of pulling lines

Julie is likely in a similar boat (ha) as Frank. once the initial "wow! whoah!" wears off, it can get boring! and games are limited - there's only so much you can do on a ship (depending on the size of the ship of course), and there might be strict rules to keep passengers out of the crew's way and to lower risk. She probably entertains herself by "bothering" her friends and the crew & cloudgazing.

Poppy... do i need to explain? wooden ship on the ocean, which i understand can be terrifying. who knows what lurks below the waters? if the weather will change on a dime? if one of the flammable things on board catches fire? if the ship hits something? etc. I imagine it's impossible to get her to go above decks. They have to literally push her statue-frozen body onto the ship when they first board

Howdy! honestly i just think it'd be really fucking funny if he gets Violently seasick! like, curled into a ball in his bunk & involuntarily making agonized noises. he sounds like a ghost w/ all the pained moaning. his sea legs suck unless he stances all four at the right distance to anchor himself in place. he's a weak, sickly, fragile little thing, take mercy on him... he doesn't even have the strength left to swindle or sell...

Eddie. now we get to the point of anon's ask - his sea legs would be nonexistent. he's staggering and stumbling all over the place. the ship just barely tilts and he's smacking into a mast or careening across the deck. and of course, hitting the guardrails at precisely the right speed/angle to allow him to tumble overboard. i bet this happens enough that every time the Neighborhood is so much as on a dock, there is at least one person either holding his arm or acting as a barrier between him and the water. as soon as they get on any ship, he's immediately sent below decks. any attempt he makes to come up is instantly blocked.

there's a lot of both comedic and angst potential there. small ship, calm waters? comedic. some neighbors are playing cards, there's on off-screen splash & Frank immediately sighs and gets up all "god damn it, Eddie-". lmao im imagining him floating there and rapid-fire blabbering in fear 'cause there's a shark (it's not a shark. it's a dolphin. everyone on board is so unimpressed.) he's sobbing in fear as they pull him in <3

but angst? imagine there's a storm. imagine it's an all-hands-on-deck situation, every available hand is needed, and Eddie is strong as fuck - he'd be a monster at pulling lines. probably wouldn't even need to sweat them. but a violently rocking ship, slick decks, maybe even waves splashing over the deck... oof i can so easily imagine Eddie slipping & sliding right over the side. maybe while the others watch. maybe they try to grab him, but they're too late. and in such a horrible storm, there's not much they can do - it's dark, the water is incredibly turbulent, the ship can't turn around easily, there's torrential rain. a high stress situation! i'm imagining Frank grabbing a lifebuoy, firmly fastening it to a pin, and then throwing himself overboard after Eddie. something to think about! (i'm imagining that after the storm clears up enough, everyone rushes to the side to check. Eddie & Frank are trailing after the boat, lashed to the buoy and exhausted. maybe a little banged up, but overall fine!)

and then yeah.... oh the shanties Barnaby could lead... the whole ship sings! and then them all in their bunks (or in their hammocks!) in the [insert term for living quarters here, it can vary] when its sleepytime. y'all would not believe the shenanigans that can occur in the fo'c'sle (or the main hold, basically wherever the ship's sleeping quarters are), especially before actual sleep occurs. peak silly time.

there's a lot of potential here, thank you anon!

like now i'm thinking - what about sea monsters? or jobs that Require them to go on the water, as in the job takes place on a ship? ocean battles! ocean searches!

#since eddie is pretty much banished to the holds no matter what #i imagine he & poppy are the main neighbors looking after howdy in his frail sickly state #im imagining eddie sitting on the bunk with howdy in his lap #howdy feels someone petting his hair and blearily cracks his eyes open to be all '...barn...?'#barnaby: *is actually eddie*#howdy: *groans & squeezes his eyes shut* oh god not You...#eddie: *mildly offended* hey now...#im also having a lot of fun imagining frank & eddie after they get reeled in after the storm debacle #they'd just flop onto the deck. exhausted. waterlogged. still holding hands though #they'd probably end up with colds... snifflin and sippin tea while cuddled up in a bunk under the same blanket...#everyone hovering nervously because for quite a while there they actually thought they Lost them both for good....#SO MUCH POTENTIAL #i imagine that howdy actively avoids jobs where he knows they'll have to take a boat #oh his dismay and horror on the times he comes along and they have to unexpectedly go on the water....#even if its just a short trip across a river you know howdy is bent over the stern & feeding the fishes #LMAO WAIT #im imagining wally going over too but in a really funny way. he's standing normally but when the ship tilts too hard #he just slides across the deck and right off the ship. not even blinking or moving. he just goes 'oh! im sliding now'#and everyone turns just in time to watch him vanish over the side w/ perfectly posture #i think this is a situation where barnaby would toss his hat to the side and jump right in after him lmao #but in a funny way! the waters are Calm! the ship is Slow! he climbs right back on with wally (perfectly fine) slung over his shoulder #home lectures wally the best they can w/ the language barrier <3 and barn resolves to teach wally how to swim #because apparently that's not in his skillset! he just falls in the water and Sinks! well. he floats for a minute until he inevitably sinks #& he does not react to it at all. he's exact opposite of eddie on the 'how they handle being in water' scale #eddie: lowkey panics. swims for safety #wally: lets it happen <3

So I may have created a trolls AU based the show Julie and the phantoms (which I highly recommend you check out)

In this AU, instead of being a simple boy band like in the movie, they a literally a band, with JD on the lead guitar, Bruce on drums, Clay on the bass, Floyd on keys, and Branch is the second guitar in training. Poppy and Branch are still best friends, and are gonna become a couple eventually, but in the beginning, just friends.

So, without further adieu, let me introduce you, to Poppy and the Phantoms!

First up we have Poppy (Please don't mind the fact that she doesn't have tail in the drawing, I forgot to add it here but it will be present when I digitalize these)

Poppy is a University student still mourning the death of her mother, who is desperately trying to fix her inability to sing and play music since her mothers passing. She still loves music, but the grief is sadly stronger. When her dad brings up the thought of selling the house in favor of helping her, Viva and himself with moving on from her death, she goes to clean the garage, aka her moms old music studio. Where she finds an old CD, for a band called Brozone. When she puts it in the player and lets the first song play, three familiar ghosts pop out of nowhere.

Lives in the house that John Dory and his new band would live and practice at

Discovers the phantoms when looking through her moms stuff in the garage

Figures out pretty quickly who they are, with Branch being her best boyfriend

They make a band to help the guys ascend and Poppy to mend her relationship with music

Lives with Viva and her dad

Next up, John Dory

Back when he was in his teens, he and his brothers made a band called Brozone, which, despite was pretty popular all things considered. However, when they were preparing for one of the biggest concerts of their live, they get into a fight about John Dory being too bossy and demanding of his younger siblings. After which, John Dory leaves the house and his family at the age of 17. In the span of his time alone, he makes a new band with some of his new friends. In a short span that they've been a band. John Dory wrote pretty much all of the songs that they sang, and though trial and error, they got an opportunity to play on a stage that has made a lot of underground artists mainstream. However, John never gets the chance to play on that stage, for her dies from a poisoning 30 mins before the show.

He and his brothers were in a band called Borzone, where he played the guitar

Until he, SpBruce and Clay quit, leaving Floyd and Branch alone (Well, they all lived with Grandma, you get what I mean)

Regrets it, deeply

Wrote all the Brozone songs, including songs for his new band

Also wrote "Unsaid Emily", which was originally named "Unsaid Family" as a tribute to his biggest mistake in life and an apology to his brothers, but renamed it.

Died right before his big performance on the same day and Bruce and Clay

Died at the age of 23

Bruce next

When his brother proposed the idea of making a band, he had his doubts, since they were all in school and had their own stuff to do, but then again, up until then, he and JD always did crazy things together, and band was by far the most tamest of his brothers ideas. And with everyone else on board he thought "fuck it, why not?". And it was fun for a while, until he noticed how controlling JD had become, always telling him to go practice instead of letting him hand out with friends, telling him to watch his shape, giving him a work out routine for that, Bruce had enough and finally stood up to his brother and claimed that he's quitting the band, to which Clay joined in on, and which prompted JD to leave all together. And soon after, he leaves the house at the age of 16. He rents a small house by the beach, works at the cafe near it, changes his name from Spruce to Bruce, and takes up surfing. Clay was, surprisingly, very on board with JDs idea about the band, despite being the nerd and bookworm of the family. He just wanted to spend more time with his brothers and have fun. That quickly changed when John completely stopped paying attention to Clays interests, hobbies and dreams. And especially with the forced title of "The fun one". He finally snapped when John kept trying to push them beyond their limit for their important concert, the time they should've spent relaxing after all the hard work they did to get this far was instead spent with their instruments like that's all that mattered. When Bruce brought up quitting the band, Clay happily joins that train, and walks out the door as soon as John and Bruce do. And so, Clay leaves the house and goes to stay with his friend at the age of 14. He finishes high school, gets accepted into a very good university, and moves into a dorm as soon as he can as to not cause more trouble for his friend than he already has. And life is good again, he's doing what he wants, works at a local library, studying to be a licensed CPA, and is gathering his courage up to confess to Viva. However, he does the latter too late, for he confesses to her and dies in a fire at the university while saving her, pushing her out of the burning building before it collapses on top of him.

Bug! ... eh..fox..wait what?

"Ah! Wait wait Evie thinks we should try again! so let's do that from the top!" *Bells jingle*

Introducing my puppetsona! Evie bugpaw now I only did this because I'm delusional... anyways!

Evie is the 10th neighbor of welcome home (not to be confused with "welcome my neighbor" my puppetsona and OCs are in their own worlds of welcome home) Evie is described to be weird and more often than not the butt of the joke her sole purpose is to just be comedic relief and make sure the neighbors have something to do for the day

Evie is never seen with her eyes open the bells on her dress jingle and she has a built in nightlight! She's not self aware and she works as an inventor creating gadgets and trinkets for the neighborhood! Howdy might have competition speaking of which!

What the neighbor's call her

Evie- by herself, Wally, Poppy, Julie and Frank

Ennui or enuette- by Sally

Eve- by Howdy, Barnaby, and Julie

Weird neighbor or interesting insectpoid- by Frank

Neighbor, friend, you- by Wally

Evie is friends with all the neighbors and just a crush on howdy however with frank he doesn't quite understand her I mean I don't blame him he doesn't even know what species she's supposed to be or how she's biologically possible of existing

Frank would never admit that he thinks Evie is a freak of nature however more often than not you'll see frank studying Evie and trying to figure out what she's supposed to be or how she exists so he's not all that fond of her because of that fact she's not exactly helping her case either

Fun facts

Evie is very affectionate and loves to revive hugs from anyone and everyone her favorite hugger is wally

Evie is capable of purring and pollinating which leaves frank even more confused

Evie can fly she does it a lot throughout the show

She's very often depicted with spirals this is a little important I'll let you theorize why

Evie is not self aware

Evie is capable of glowing in the dark due to having a built in nightlight her and Sally often thrive in the dark as a result

Evie is very bad at acting and has stage fright so she works backstage

Evie is never seen with open eyes much like Bea joyful

Evie obviously loves clown and jesters she looks up to barnaby a bit as a result

Evie likes holding flowers but she Will never smell them

She sometimes speaks in third person

Nobody see's Evie come and nobody sees her leave she's not only a biological but an actual mystery poor Poppy keeps getting jump scared by Evie as a result

Evie might have been based off a freak show

Whenever not being the butt of the joke Evie is smart in her own right and weird to say the least and she will proudly admit that! Evie always has some random facts about something completely off topic whenever she says the fun fact there's always an awkward silence before the neighbors continue their dialogue

Although not self aware she's very aware of her surroundings and how people act around her she's not that stupid and when sensing something is wrong or if someone doesn't like her presence then she'll either leave or address the problem that being said she's aware of wally's dissociation but doesn't say anything about it she simply sits next to him and stares into the distance with him if a neighbor approaches then she'll speak for wally until he snaps out of it

Considering Howdy takes jokes, riddles, trinkets or poems as payment for his wares Evie will always tell a riddle or give howdy a trinket on rare occasions she'll give him a poem or use Barnaby to tell a joke

Her puppet mechanics are simply she's a hand and rod puppet obviously but her wings has a mechanic to make them flap, flutter, and twitch whichever movement her wings did will tell you how she's feeling Frank is the only one who can tell and Poppy just barely her tail had a mechanic that only allowed it to wag and of course like howdy her antennae would wiggle and twitch however her's were capable of uncurling as well her hat and ruff collar were said to be removable

The bottom of her shoes have a heart and paw pad which is a reference to both Barnaby and Wally they are a tiny friend group
