A colour I used to race in and of course the colour of celebrations in Chinese culture. As I was born in 1998, the Year of the Tiger 🐅, I put a Tiger at the back alongside my name in Chinese. It’s also the Year of the Dragon 🐉this year so I wanted to feature this too. I’ve also included 63 in Chinese characters on the sides. It feels great to be racing in China again and I wanted to celebrate with something special, I hope you like it! Let me know what you think.

#my art #so before I drew this I drew smth shitty with a shitty brush and I got a huge artblock and hated myself for a good hour or two then I was #about to post about my art block and how I was going to take a break from drawing then I looked at my lineless art again and remembered how #much fun it was when I just drew it lineless. I only forced myself to find a perfect brush/art style when in reality the perfect artstyle #was the one that made me happy. So I went to my notebook and I saw my beautiful old sketch I drew of bookmark in different povs with the ba #sketchiness of it. So I got inspired. I colored in between the bad sketches. it really is starting to feel like every single person at dc has somehow just completely forgotten how storytelling works on a fundamental level. like i genuinely believe 99% of the problems they’re having could be solved if all the writers and the entire editorial staff was forced to take a middle school reading class

I want to give some gentle reassurances and reminders as lately I've seen a lot of this from many different self shippers.

It's OKAY to post more horror media if that is what you enjoy, it's OKAY to have ships from darker types of media! (NOT talking about pr*ship and that weird shit just fyi) You have no obligation to always constantly post fluff of your ships! It's okay to write some more horror themes, it's okay to draw more horror for your ships! It's okay to make conflicts in your ships! It's YOUR SHIP not your ship micro managed by other people.

It's okay to ship however you want to ship! You shouldn't have to worry about what other people think(unless your pr*ship then you need professional help), the blacklist and filter system has gotten a lot better than before. They can blacklist the tag if the horror/ conflict content isn't for them and I want to reassure people that if a close friend/mutual ends up blocking or unfollowing you just because of a ship and how you choose to ship then they aren't really your friends to begin with. The right people WILL find you!

You're no less valid for putting horror in your ships or having f/o who are from horror media!!!
