- Dệt nên triều đại (early 1400s-early 1500s vietnamese historical fashion, going in decent details on patterns, mixing, and real life resources. a bit sensationalized but suits my purpose well enough)

other stuff:

- I just went back on my art reblog blog and tag fashion stuff, finally. here’s that tag

- sometimes I just browse brand sites without buying anything and if I like something I take a screenshot. sometimes I go to malls and don’t buy anything but if there’s something I like I take photos or sketch it down real quick. the fun thing about fashion’s that you can usually look outside and there’s fashion right there! I am a city kid

- I also do the same with youtube tutorials; I have chronically online syndrome and at least 40% of my time online’s dedicated to going down craft rabbit holes on youtube. check out some leathercraft channels. some resin accessories channels. good stuff out there

- and yet the same with movies! watch pirates of the caribbean and look at the character designs. watch whatever period drama or historical fantasy that’s currently hot and trendy and look at the character designs. the kind of fashion I draw, other than being heavy on cách tân/việt phục stuff, is also more involved with character design than with just high fashion or subcultures. I feel it’s much easier and more satisfying to build a set for a specific person or character, gives it an anchor y’know? it’s just playing those dressup games on girlsgogames dot com or whatever but cooler and more awesome. have fun with it!
