Gotta say at 1st Sundrop was kinda horrifying with his unhinged voice and forever cursed smile and dead eyes

buuut after reading some very convincing *ahem* "literature" some fun cute animatics and animations I've eased up on the dude and think he could make for a great delusional Yandere! Don't think I'd want to be his Y/N personally tho.

As for Moon drop...he's scary with a kick ass voice and would make for a great and terrifying rough Yandere 😱 The rough Yanderes are scary and quite mean so I wouldn't be down for him either :p (not that I'd have a choice tho I guess 😭😭)

Bloody Roar concept art

Hi guys, a while back I asked a question about whether there were still any Bloody Roar fans. Now that I’ve logged into my Tumblr again, I’ve seen some ppl chime in to say hello! Thus, to keep this fandom (however small it is lol) active, imma post some cool stuff concerning BR; concept art for the first game. *Note that all this info is from Mitsuakira Tatsuta and Shinsuke Yamakawa’s Twitters with some of my opinions and observations sprinkled in 

So, back when the first game was being developed, the character designers had to rack their brains to come up with good zoanthrope designs. Part of the team were Mitsuakira Tatsuta and Shinsuke Yamakawa and they sketched all kinds of beasts at an incredible rate (like, it was a lot). Mr. Tatsuta himself drew about 300 of them and he said there were a bull and kangaroo design he personally liked but those got rejected (we’ll get there). 

The image above is an unused koala girl whom he and the other artists found funny and couldn’t stop laughing at how terrible and dumb it looked. Tbh, they were kinda right lol. Given how slow koalas are, the image of a humanoid marsupial with boobs running towards you is fucking hilarious.

Anteater dude. Probably would have played like a mix between Bakuryu and Busuzima. Mr. Yamakawa thought it looked similar to the former. Speaking of which.......

Early design for Bakuryu. Seems like the mole was going to have ears and a tail. Actually, I’ve always wondered why the Bakuryus didn’t have tails when moles irl do have visible ones. Unless there’s a breed of mole that doesn’t, in which case I’m not aware of. The concept of a 2nd Bakuryu was also apparently already thought up at this time (idk if in the form of a clone, brother, student, etc.) even when Mr. Tatsuta wasn’t involved much in the later games so it’s nice to know that Kakeru/Kenji was not merely an afterthought haha.

Here are 2 very early concept art of Alice. In the 1st one, she looks more mature and edgy. The design/aesthetic may have been recycled into Nagi’s in BR4 (especially the tube top). In the 2nd one, she doesn’t have pigtails since her hair is short and instead wears a giant bow to emulate bunny ears. Very shoujo-esque.

This is the rejected bull design Mr. Tatsuta mentioned and next to it an early bat zoanthrope. The artist had already thought up some ideas on how they were going to fit in the game. The bat was of course used as the basis for Jenny’s beast form later on. There is also the bull zoanthrope’s human form. The character would be Native American it looks like. Bull guy here had been shown before in concept art included in the BR1 game.

A black panther woman (literally lol). It looks like she could have been a black character (probably the first and only in the series unless you count Greg). Also, if this character was approved, we’d have gotten even more cats in the roster.

Squirrel girl, elephant man, and goat lady. The first one looks kinda like a monkey girl (which would be super cute), elephant obvs became Ganesha later, and the goat lady looks more like a demon/satyr to me. This would actually be cool and does fit in with the mythos as shown in the games and the “BR: The Fang” manga i.e., fantasy creatures such as mermaids, dragons, and phoenixes. 

Kangaroo zoanthrope. Mr. Tatsuta imagined him using the Muay Thai fighting style. Eventually rejected as Roger, another kangaroo fgc, had already appeared in Tekken 1-2 years before.

Something veeeeeryyyy interesting. This is a pretty detailed design for a character that was going to be Alice’s brother. This guy was also included in the concept art feature in the BR1 game but it was not mentioned who he was supposed to be. I actually thought he was a proto-Yugo or something. Well, if he made it this far into the character creation process (past the rough sketches and onto colored concept art), then there must have been a conceptual storyline for him somewhere along the line. Judging from his appearance and fashion sense (heh), he’s definitely related to Alice.

Additionally, the red eyes and rabbit-like face probably means that he too was going to have a rabbit beast form; maybe even a hare. I guess he was scrapped since having 2 bunnies would’ve been redundant. I wonder how Alice’s backstory might’ve been had her brother existed. Would she have been adopted into the Nonomura family? Was there going to be some plot where she would be looking for him, thinking she lost her family? Who knows. One thing I do know however, is that he’d butt heads with Yugo since he wouldn’t be keen on his sister dating a *gasp* predator.

Now, I think it would be awesome if this character is introduced in a potential reboot/new installment! They could say Alice didn’t know he was alive, or that he stayed away to keep her safe, seeing as she was already happy with the Nonomuras and relegated himself to watching over her in the shadows. Seriouslyyyy the potential is enormous and I’m hoping something will be done with scrapped concepts like this. (Plus, this guy reminded me of the genderbend Alice fanart I did so long ago. I guess male Alice wasn’t too far off after all).

And lastly, Alice in her sailor fuku (human and beast form). Mr. Tatsuta said this was how he imagined she looked like in that costume.

That’s all for now! It’s really interesting to see all this concept art and trace back where some designs carried over into later installments of the series. After going through all of them, I yearn even more for another Bloody Roar game! A reboot would be great and some of the rejected designs could be used too. Or continuation with new characters and a bigger roster; that would be even more amazing. Anyway, I thought I should share these sketches by some of the original Raizing/Eighting staff and keep the interest in BR going. We may get something; in regards to Konami trademarking the brand name last year, we just have to wait and see.

Mark Darrah’s resignation from Dragon Age + Bioware: something’s not right. (With receipts)

Apologies for the long post, but I do have some thoughts. Yesterday, Mark Darrah (and then Casey Hudson) announced his retirement from Bioware after 23 years as an employee. Mark was a veteran who was there since BG1 and served as the Executive Producer for Dragon Age: Origins, 2, Inquisition, and the upcoming sequel. He has been well loved by the fandom (he’s the guy that retweets all the fanart and trolls us by teasing new content) and by the developers (even the ones that left), and his abrupt departure has become a talking point. Bioware and Mass Effect have both been trending on twitter because of it. But unfortunately I, and many others believe that this may not have been his choice, and that a certain right-wing voice actor may have been involved. I have to state for my protection that this is speculation

the reactions have been shock from the people that used to know him, this wasn’t what the reaction was like when say, vet Producer Fernando Melo left, or even when David and Mike left themselves:

Even his profile has been changed so that his header, pfp, bio and pinned post are all his statement. It feels more legal than anything else tbh (and casey hudson has not done the same) 

Mark was also present in the BTS video (as was Casey) so I do believe this was a decision that was made recently.  Back in August, when the BTS video was made, said voice actor joined in on the talk (going to call him Bread). Bread tweeted out that he was excited and asked his fanbase if they were ready for it. This prompted a lot of uproar, with a lot of fans upset that a transphobic, right-wing actor would be part of a game that promotes equality and love with the LGBTQ community. The fans then tweeted at Patrick Weekes and Mark Darrah. Patrick blocked most of said concerns (perhaps they did not have the power to address these concerns) and Mark copied and pasted a statement from his lawyers.

said voice actor was NOT happy with this statement, and put out a very...threatening reply:

This strongly suggests that he was planning on taking legal action against Mark and Bioware, but since we heard little else after this, most people thought that the matter was done and Bread was miffed that he wasn’t going to get called back in.

Understandably, there has been an outpour of support and love given to Darrah (and a lot of sadness of course) he had 194 replies to his tweet, and he responded to only 1 reply:

A “lol” could mean anything of course, but he must know that something like this would cause speculation. I think he knew what he was doing.

At the same time, a smaller twitter account posted that Bread had requested them to take down some tweets during that same period.

They then made a post that they would be going private, perhaps forever, which prompted a lot of worry from their followers. (this tweet was deleted so I couldn't catch it). Afterwards the same day Mark announced his retirement, they followed up with this: 

Addendum: When checking Marks responses, I saw that Bread had made responses on the 30th Nov and 1st Dec, why did he reply so recently? Especially to a post made in August?

Of course, on the day of Darrah’s retirement, he tweets THIS: 

If bioware sided with a right wing bigot over their own staff, and unfairly fired him for doing so, I will be VERY unhappy and will no longer feel comfortable supporting their games. It is all speculation, but I wanted to put it out there.

Using an assortment of parodies shown through a comic utilizing the pre-feature movie previews, this entry took a completely different route from the rest. I also really loved the movie design elements you used on the preview page, with the tickets, film strip, and photo booth roll.

Glad that Skull Man got a job as a stunt double for Mega Man in this creepy horror parody. ;D Actually, nice job connecting the font similarities from Night of the Living Dead to the Megaman lightbulb brand. It does mesh fairly well. Love the feel all the sharp jagged lines give throughout. It’s got a nice balance, and looks like a great poster!

Appropriately titled Kattleostro, this mashup with an iconic Lupin film is quite Legendary! I just loved the aesthetic of this pic, with how pretty the flowers and background look. Volnutt and Roll fit perfectly into Lupin and Jigen’s roles in this scene.

This take on Kiki’s Delivery Service is super cute, perfectly swapping Roll - in her Powered Up witch costume - , Tango and Beat into this iconic poster. But the little changes, opting for a night scene and the skyscrapers of Mega Man 2, instead of the sunny oceanfront, give it a unique spin. Love the full moon backdrop, and how it centers her in the frame like that.

The most official looking movie poster entry goes to this take on Baby Driver. Despite the serious tone and looks on most everyone’s face, it’s still hilarious as a parody seeing the disk drive speeding along in the car’s original place. Funny, but seriously clever. This turned out really great! Would have placed, had you not also done so well in Cat. 1.

Tony started crushing on a guy who is 5 years younger than him... And You all know who that is 😉 one and only Peter Parker.

And Peter has a very famous Youtube channel since he was 6. But he always wears mask in his videos to hide his face. He often mentions his crush on Tony Stark since he was 12 in his videos.

The notes below are for the things that happened till Peter is 20 from when I'll actually start the story. I didn't wanted to get it all mixed up. So I wrote these so you guys can understand the AU better and how everything came to be and not get confused. It explains everything about Pete's social media, everyone's ages and which part of MCU is included and which is not, and the changes in the whole storyline. So these are must read it if you want to read the actual chapters. (☆▽☆)

Notes :

Tony is 25 year old in this and Pete is 20 and they're both certified geniuses. And they are both Bisexual.

Tony's perants are alive. Pete's uncle Ben is also alive.

Howard is a good parent and husband in this fic and he himself is a Bi so congrats!! No homophobia 🤗

Howard made Tony CEO of the company when he was 22 and only took semi retirement and only went to company once in a while to keep an eye on things. Tony graduated from MIT when he was 17 and then he started helping with company 😀

So Avengers and S. H. I. E. L. D. does exist in this AU but sheild isn't publicly known nor does anyone knows Avengers' real identity that includes Tony's😉 but that was just until New York battle.

Howard and Maria obviously knew about Tony being Iron Man. Tony told them after he came from Afghanistan and created the armor. There was no way to keep it hidden from them. Like all the parents they were reluctant to accept it as it will endanger his life but the accepted it at last.

Tony was kidnapped when he was 19 and when he went to Afganistan for his first ever deal without his father. And bla bla happened and he became Ironman and then he told his father about the Arc reactor tech and told him that there are many other things that can get their company to it's peak and asked him to stop the weapon business and Howard aslo thought about it cause after all he almost lost his one and only son (told ya he is good parent it this one) and then you know what happened 🙃

Howard is alive so no Obadiah Stane.. So no IM 1 events after he came from Afghanistan happened. They hid the fact that tony has arc reactor in his chest though. And world only knew that Iron Man is getting help from SI because of the arc reactor technology in the armor but they could never expect that it's Tony Stark himself. ( yeah yeah I know not very convincing but bear with it cause its a fiction right😅)

Papper, Rhodey and Tony are best friends from childhood cause their parents are friends. So he tell them about IM too. Papper works with him at SI as secretary for few years but when Tony turns 24, He suggest his father to make her CEO and he will be working and providing for Techs and important business deals. And Howard knows his son very well and that doing office stuff ain't getting to Tony plus his IM activities. And Papper was already doing more than half of his paper and meeting work so he makes Papper CEO. And yep Papper and Tony did try relationship but it just didn't clicked so they are still friends and no awkward feelings.

From IM 2, he did get palladium poisoning but he hid it from his family and friends. He did parties and drinking (but without the armor ofcourse) and Rhodey got really angry at his behaviour and recklessness and told him that he will beat him up with his own armour. And then Nat and Fury came and all that injection stuff.. after that he told his father about it and they worked together and made the new element and saved him. After that he apologized to everyone and told the truth and even made Rhodey War Machine suit and Rhodey helped him with it at Expo. Race incident doesn't happen. But Vanko still tried to get revenge by helping Hammer. So Stark expo incident still happened with drones only, not the War Machine armour.

I'll say IM 3 doesn't happen cause we don't have that much time you know fitting all IM parts and then 2 avangers part just within 6 years is impossible 😅

So after that NY invasion happened and Avangers got formed. People didn't know who they atually were just their alter egos and that also not everyone. People were really shocked and afraid after the battle so the government decided to make shield publicly known. Not all the information but just lil bit parts here and there to ensure everyone that there were people and organisation who were ready for something big like this. But it was still not enough to make people safe.

So then Avengers decided that they'll reveal their identities so people will know that there is a group of people who are there and capable enough to save them from something like this and it worked. They did got positive response. But it was uproar it the world. And they had to deal with media and fans. When the world got to know about Tony Stark being Iron Man, SI's PR department was in chaos.

All Avengers are around 24 to 30 except for Wanda and Pietro. They are 21. But they got into team after Ultron and yep Pietro survived.

Events of Captain America and CA : Winter Soldier did happen except for Bucky killing Tony's perants part. And they are both 30. Clint doesn't have secret wife and children (sorry Laura and kids) cause he is 25. Nat is 24. Papper and Rhodes are 27. Thor looks like 28 but is 1500 as we all know. Loki looks like he is 26 and yepp he was mind controlled by Chitauri but he was at Asgard during Age Of Ultron. Sam is 23. Scott is 25 and he is divorced and has a daughter. He is in relationship. Hope is 24. Bruce is 29. (These are their ages at the starting of the 1st chapter, from when I'll actually start writing the story.)

In NY invasion only original 6 were included in Avengers Initiative and after that they lived together too, at the Stark tower which was turned into Avengers Tower. Later Shield recruited others and they trained and did mission together but didn't live with the original 6.

Then Age Of Ultron happened and Vision Wanda and Pietro also joined. At that time they decided to move to the compound Tony built for them in upstate so everyone can live there.

And time period between these all events is smaller than in movies cause you now 6 years time period ain't that long to fit 'em all.

No CW or IW or Endgame happened.

Mary & Richard unfortunately had to die in plane crash 😅 when Pete was 5 so his uncle and aunt looked after him from then.

When Peter was struggling to recover from his parents death, May got an idea to help him *tada* a youtube channel to distract him because she knew Pete liked to watch things on YT. Pete was a genius and he was great at art too and he is an obvious cinnamon roll so she knew it will be a success and Pete will be distracted too. But she didn't want her nephew's face all over the internet if he gets popular and then can't have normal life so she helped him make his videos with him wearing a mask. So here's where Pete's YouTube journey started 🤭

Peter being an adorable and telented and a genius he is, he got famous on YT over the years and got millions of subscribers and views. He even made accounts on other social medias like Insta and Twitter stuff releted to his YT when he was 12 and it was success too he posted his art and photography their. ( His art and videos do contain his fanboying stuff and crushing on Tony Stark🤭)

And yes Pete is Spider-Man. He became SM when he was 13. Same radioactive spider at oscorp stuff but without Ben dying.

Ben has his own business which is good enough to have stable and cozy life with his wife and nephew. May is house wife and she likes to do volenteer work oftenly. They have two story house with a garden and a backyard. Nither too big nor too small.

Ben has always taught Pete about responsibility and righteousness. (With great powers comes great responsibilities.) So when Peter got his powers he decided to help people by being Spider-Man and looking out for little guy. After sometime he told Ben and May about it and they were at first hesitant but then they got over it and were proud of him and supported him.

After a year, it was getting too much at the same time... being at school, managing social media and YT channel, being Spider-Man and all.

Ben and May wanted him to have normal life so even if he was a genius and could graduate early, they still wanted him to complete high school and make friends. But let's be genuine nothing in life is gonna be normal so he told them about his plan to graduate early from both school and college. And he loved his YT and social media cause it helped him so he didn't wanted to stop that and to stop being SM is out of the picture. Ben and May understood him so they allowed him.

He took this opportunity to tell his only 2 and closest friends Ned and MJ about him being SM. He trusts them alot and they didn't disappoint him and even helped him with keeping his secret identity.

So he graduated from high school early, got full scholarship to MIT.

He was fifteen when he saw Iron Man first. He and Ned became fans but Tony was still his idol and his crush. He also started making fanarts about Iron Man on his account. He liked Dr.Banner's work too. He was only 20 when he wrote his thesis about gamma radiation and his books are awesome and he has 7 PhDs by the age of 25.

Peter earned a good amount from his YT channel and he still had money his perants left so he made one of the vacant room in the house his lab after he became SM and he makes videos in his lab after that about his inventions and experiments but ofcourse nothing regarding SM. He and Ned even made a cool SM suit with AI which they named Karen. (The one from the Homecoming) He got his AI inspiration from his Idol's AI called JARVIS. (Tony made JARVIS when he was at MIT and then used him for the company and his lab and he gave an interview about it. That's how Pete knows about it. Tony used Friday for his suits and IM releted activities after he became IM but then after AOU he used Friday for everything.)

Pete's YouTube videos are about everything and anything he loves to do since he was young. When he was young it was about his lil childish science experiments with help of Ben (ofcourse till he could it on his own) or his art or baking and cooking stuff with May and all but they all always wore the different different matching masks while making videos. When he became friends with Ned and MJ, he asked them to be there too. As he got older he started showing his genius brain cells in his experiments and invention. Same goes for his art, it started getting more and more detailed and he also got interested in composing music and songs and he eurned more followers. He even made his accounts unhackable so no one try to find out who he is after he became SM. He had so many happy moments with his family and friends while making his videos, that is why he kept his YT and accounts.

Shield doesn't know who the Spider-Man is. Pete found out about them cause he sensed someone (agents) following him during one of his patrols when he was 14. So he and Ned looked into it and his mind was blown when he found the organisation and all government behind it.

He wanted to know why they were after him cause he only helped people. So they hacked into Shield. He found out that they wanted to recruit him for something called Avangers Initiative and there he saw some other people's and superheroes' information too. (He didn't look into it because he knew that if he didn't anyone want to know his identity, they must not too and he had no right. ) But he knew it was not a good idea to join it cause then he will have to work for them do their missions and he didn't wanted to do that. He wanted to look out for little guy and help whoever, he can wherever he can. Plus he would have to reveal his identity and when they'll know he is so young, they'll try to stop him from being SM plus people close to him will get in danger. And they might even want to experiment on him so it was a big fat NO.

After that he took every cautious step to protect his identity and his aunt, uncle and his friends. He made a security system for their house and made a smart bracelet to communicate or send signal to each other if they were in danger. They all had one including himself. It looked simple and no one could tell it was actually for that.

When Newyork invasion happened, he was not there. He was at MIT for his PhD. He was so damn worried about Ben, May, Ned and MJ. The moment he heard the news he left for NY but by the time he got there the fight had been finished. So he directly went to check on May and Ben. He found them safe and was revealed. Then he called Ned and MJ to check on them and their families and found everyone was ok. After that he told May and Ben that he will go out and help people from the aftermath of the battle.

He stayed in NY for 2 weeks. In which he found out about the Avengers. He and Ned were shocked at the name and that it was the same Avengers Initiative stuff they read when they hacked into the sheild and Peter felt a pinch of guilt but it disappeared when he learnt that Avengers revealed their identities. He was in no condition to reveal his identity.

He was shocked when he learnt Avengers' identities especially Iron Man. He was like "how could I not understand that it had to be Tony.. there were all those connection like SI and no one is such a genius to make that kind of Tech except for his idol. He fell in love with Tony even more but he just thought it was some kind of superhero worship and teenage crush.

After that Ned and him being the 'nerds' as MJ calls them they are, they become fanboys and started to find out more thing about Avengers. Pete started to post more fanarts of them and he even made the reaction video of how he feels about Tony Stark being Iron Man and Bruce Banner being Hulk. Both his favourite scientists. He even made a song for Avengers. Which was total hit so he made more songs in the future.

Pete graduated from MIT even earlier than his Idol Tony Stark at the age of 16. He got his PHD in Biochemical Engineering at 17 and he wanted to get more Phds in Robotics, Nenotech Engeneering study and Astrophysics. (Which he did within next 2 years.) (Pete was 16 when NY invasion happened and 19 when Ultron happened)

And then Ultron happened, it was all over the news and all but Avangers once again saved the world. Pete was happy and revealed that there were Avengers to save them from world ending dangers but there gotta be someone down on the street too. Someone to help people from criminal and other dangers which may seem little in their or government's eye like Rhino, Doc Oct, Green Goblin, lizard, electro and many more with whom he fought. And he felt that his decision to not join Avengers Initiative was right. Though Shield was still eager to find out who he is like he will let them.

And then Homecoming happened except the part with Tony. ( But Peter doesn't go to homecoming because he graduated from high school )

As for the Ferry incident he saved everyone. He held the both part of ferry with his web and his strength ( Pete is very very strong in this fic ) till his latest Nenotech bot he invented arrived and held the ferry together and mend it. (Like Iron Man did. Just that it were bots who fixed the last part too. Where Tony flys around it and mend it.)

Peter had figured out the arc reactor technology a year and half ago but he didn't wanted any one to know cause it will attract the attention of many people and he didn't wanted that. That is also the reason he doesn't use his Nenotech suit he made. ( IW one ) But now that he has used his nenobots and his tech which was even better and cheaper, he knew for sure that it's going to fireback but he thought he'll take care of it later when he is not busy trying to capture a curtain alian tech loaded weapon selling Vulture.

Next day he had asked Karen to keep and eye over everything and at night Karen informed him about some movements at some abandoned warehouse. Then the whole warehouse dropping and plane crashing thing happened. He saved the Mr.stark's tech and averages stuff and weapons.

But now he will even have more attention but he then ask Karen to clear CCTV footage around the beach so no one knows about him leaving from the scene. He can only hope now. He'll have to lay low for now and even more careful.

♡ 2019 Art Summary + updates/plans for 2020

(25/01) sorry for the late update,, I meant to post this on the 1st,, but,, stuff happened;; u_u

TLDR: I’m going on hiatus. I’ll also be privating a lot of my posts here if they’re text posts, or art I just don’t like. I really want this blog to look like a proper portfolio for when I come back;; Probably won’t be back until May or even later,, might go fuq off to a new account just to see how well I can do on my own for a bit,, Ty for support + have a nice year~ _______________________________________________________________

So basically, this year’s art summary is surprisingly better than last year’s. I didn’t really notice since I’ve actually been feelin p shit about my progress until I put this together. Definitely more variation in style compared to 2018 (can’t believe I said that “I got to experiment a lot” that year haha guess I was really grasping). The second half of this is pretty much just me going over my 2019 (not just art), so feel free to stop reading here!! Thanks for all the new support, I hope you all have a good 2020. _______________________________________________________________ This is just me really wanting to vent/express my thoughts somewhere, and I just find tumblr the most comfortable place to do that since it’s sort of more hidden and people don’t really read personal posts!! So here we gooooo

I can’t really remember most of January - April, just that I was really stressed about not finishing a portfolio for one of my classes hgjfkdls,, I also quit my job near the end of April since management changed for the worse;; Little did I know how it’s harder to get a job while unemployed,, (seriously what’s up with that?? I get that many people need to work 2+ jobs,, but I would like to live too;; qxq) So I gave up on looking for work, since I didn’t think anyone would want to hire me if I would be gone for over a month right in the middle of summer.

May - June consisted of trying to generate enough art pieces to meet my 1 piece per 5 days art schedule. I also started to fall out of the FE fandom while really getting in to Sonic again. I’m pretty sure I wanted to draw a lot of Pokemon and Zelda fanart as well,, but I was (and still am) at the point where I hate my human art, and being able to draw Sonic art — which I'm more comfortable with — was just much more appealing;; uxu I feel more familiar with these characters, and so many creative ideas just come to be (other than memes, like my FE stuff).

From August onward, though,, I just feel like things turned for the worse. I had (what I would assume was) my first panic attack during my exchange program. It’s feels so fucking pathetic that this would happen at 20 years old;; I thought I was so much better off compared to middle/high school when it came to keeping my anxiety in check, bu t guess not,, ahhahhahhahah,,,, and it wouldn’t be the only one this year;; :’)

I still wouldn’t have found a job after my return, but would still have enough money to pay off my first semester with some left over. Unfortunately, due to vet bills, I wouldn’t have enough to pay for a full course load for my second semester. This was also due to some poor planning on my part regarding commissions/adopts,, so oop;; I’m only taking one course this sem, so I’m looking for full-time work, but damn ! ! no job ! ! esp sucks since my mom is the only one paying for things atm;; soooo great

ugh;; I don’t want to talk about this anymore,, so I’ll just go onto plans/bucket list for 2020/2021, since I keep forgetting:: _______________________________________________________________

If you didn’t read the TLDR, basically I’m taking a break from all my art accounts and such. Even though I can see a lot of improval from 2018-2019, I’m still disappointed in my lack of anatomy/technical skills in my art, especially since I believe I told myself I would improve last year;; So I’m going to try avoid going online as much as possible since it’s really just too distracting,, I really want to dedicate all the time I have now to improving/adopting new skills, so my bucket list/new year’s resolutions for 2020 will be:

Improving human anatomy/developing a good artstyle for human art

Developing assets for RPG Maker XP games (???) (I actually forgot about the pkmn one I started in 2018 until I looked through my archive. I don’t think I’m actually going to make any playable games, just some nice things to look at.)

Learning how to use Blender + making many plant assets

Creating designs/inventory to sell at an anime convention for 2021

Saving up for a Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Camera to document Artist Alley experience

Becoming ~ambidextrous~

The Final(ish) Chapter of PE is officially posted! The following is basically just a long author’s note/commentary/explanation of the ending/what’s up for the future. SPOILERS if you haven’t read the last chapter, I linked back to here on AO3 - hit that up first then come back here for more info if you’d like.

I have so much to say and I didn’t want to post it all on AO3!

First of all - THE ENDING:

At this point you can stop right where it ends and it can live on its own as a non-zombie AU (despite Negan’s remark about weird aggressive behavior on the news - guess it’s just the state of our world today?). Carl and Negan ride off into the sunset, traveling the world as Murder Husbands, and live happily ever after! The End! BUT! I will be continuing the story using the foundation of PE with the introduction of zombies. I’m really entertained by the idea of Negan and Rick reluctantly dealing with each other, 1) for Carl’s sake and 2) because they understand that the other is an asset in the new world order. I don’t know how frequently I plan on updating but I have a few plots in mind that I’d like to write. I want to explore how Negan’s character develops in that setting with Rick and Carl as an influence. ~*~ OKAY! Now that that’s been stated... THANK YOU! Can I just say thank you? Like... so fuckin’ much dudes. The feedback, comments, questions, fucking FANART?! and the love you’ve shown me since I started this (way too fucking long ago) has been so far outside of any expectation I’ve ever had - I honestly can’t believe it. 

And that so many of you have stuck with it for THIS LONG? That is just incomprehensible to me. THANK YOU! For anyone who has commented, or kudos’d, or gently (or aggressively) nudged me in the in direction to continue the story... thank you so much. You all know I’ve had real life get in the way but if it weren’t for your cheerleading I would have just dropped this story. I always wanted to finish it, I always had this ending in mind (some of you have guessed it - hopefully you’ve still enjoyed the ride), and I’m so grateful for the support you’ve given me over the years that has helped motivate me to finally get this story out. THANK YOU FOR READING! But especially thank you if you’ve ever commented or messaged me. I don’t know how to express how insecure I am in my writing and how much your support has meant to me. Truly! <3 ~*~ DISCLAIMER! At this point it’s a bit late in the game to state it, but I don’t condone any of the actions of what the characters are doing in the fic. Murder/torture/abuse - that’s a no-no kids! But specifically writing Carl to be underage for sexual contact (of any kind) has actually really bothered me. I’m not condoning sexual contact with minors in any form but I had at originally planned on him being 18 before they do-the-do. I changed some of the story and it worked out better for the plot to have him underage... but to reiterate, I do not condone that kind of behavior in real life. Fiction is just that, it’s fiction. It’s my personal opinion that exploring problematic themes, questioning mores, and providing commentary on all of the above through a safe creative outlet is important in a free society. The “Victims” 1st guy they kill - he’s just generic predatory Dude. No real inspiration for him except EAR/ONS, maybe. There wasn’t much thought except to be a plot device. 2nd dude - I’ve worked with a lot of people who were survivors of sexual abuse as children and it’s frequently a boyfriend/step dad/family member that is the abuser. This dude was a reflection on my experience working with those kids. Bryce was inspired by the rich/athletic fucks you see getting away with what they get away with - the Brock Turners,  Steubenville, and Brett Kavanaughs of the world. Paul/Arthur were based on guys like Jerry Sandusky, Jim Jordan, Richard Strauss, Larry Nassar, and the institutions (Penn State/Ohio State/Michigan State/US Olympics) that encourage, enable, and protect that behavior. Throughout the story I don’t feel like I ever properly gave weight to survivors of incidents like those mentioned above, because that’s not the kind of story I was writing. But fuck if what they put people through doesn’t stick with me. I don’t actually believe that people who commit those acts should be murdered violently, but it’s kind of nice to write a novel length fanfic about it. And to be honest, for this story I do like the hypocrisy of Negan perpetuating some of the problematic behaviors in a way that he thinks are justifiable - it’s sort of depressingly well rounded for me. I like that the “bad guys” always have the “they were asking for it” kind of plea and that’s essentially what Negan tells Rick when he finds out. Only in Negan’s case it was... kind of true? ~*~ Misc Shit Here’s fanart of Negan I did (print for sale in my shop). Here’s fanart of Carl/Chandler. I don’t have prints available because it was mostly just a portrait study but if anyone was interested I could put it up. Here’s a Cegan soundtrack that I listened to for most of writing PE. ~*~ I’m finally done (if you’ve made it this far)! So, again, I am going to update a post-PE story with a walkers very soon. What if he’s been in control since the end of Mayhem?

Okay, my left eye’s in pain from straining and all, but fuck it, I NEED to share this theory because I am quite a bit SHOOK and I need others to hear this. Brace yourselves, guys. This is going to be a LONG post.

I’ve seen a lot of theories before in regards to who’s been in control all this time, and I admittedly was one of those people who suspected Anti’s been here since Say Goodbye. But then there have been other theories in regards to Schneep having saved Jack every time Anti slit his neck, pointing out how bloodshed probably triggers Anti to come out. Now let’s say that’s the case, in which case Anti hasn’t been in control since Say Goodbye; he’s just shown up anytime Jack bled. That would mean we have been watching Jack for the most part with Anti trying to glitch out on camera and take control. Keep this all in mind, okay?

With what happened yesterday with Anti clearly being in control, acting calm and staring into our souls, only a twitch of his eye being a clear giveaway of who we were seeing, it made me have an epiphany last night:

If Anti’s gotten THAT good - THAT seamless - at acting exactly like Jack to the point no glitches show up, has he been in control for some time? Have we been unknowingly watching him for the last couple of months? And if he has been in control, well then when did it all start - when did we unknowingly lose sight of Jack?

The answer? May 16th, “Exiles” - near the end of Mayhem.

In the “Exiles” video, at the beginning, Jack was breathing quite heavy and looking around, looking and acting like he had just gotten transported there. He said he didn’t know anything about the game and he blatantly said he didn’t remember how he got into the room (in a hospital, by the way).

He also rubs at his eyes earlier on.

And it isn’t until the end of the video when THIS happens.

During mid-sentence, unexpectedly, he gets cut off and is suddenly staring at us, wide-eyed and mouth hanging agape. Soft groans of agony are heard rasping out of him as his eyes begin to bleed, all while whispers repeat “It’s your fault” in the background.

Jump to May 22nd, “First Winter”. A few glitches of the facecam are shown throughout the video, and at 2-3 instances, we see this:

Between the brief glitches, we get glimpses of Jack with bloody tears lining his face, eyes glazed over with emptiness, mouth agape, slumped in his chair. He’s dead. 

Where I’m going with this is what if during the time of Exiles, Anti got to Jack, killed him AGAIN (just like Say Goodbye, used bloodshed to get control), got him out of the way, and took over right there and then. And the flashes of Jack’s corpse in his chair was an indication of that - a hint to us that the guy currently playing the game is NOT Jack and that the REAL Jack fucking died AGAIN a week before. 

Keeping this all in mind, I went back to look into anything and everything that has happened AFTER “Exiles” to see how Jack’s behavior has been, and boy oh boy, guys...

Firstly, as far as I can tell, before “First Winter”, there were no glitches (excluding the ending of “Stories Untold - Chapter 4″ when Jack woke up and any glitches that showed Marvin or JJ). We got a few strange and eerie things here and there, such as the ending to the “GIANT SMELLY FEET!” video 

and the “Barry Has A Secret” video

On June 11th - after Mayhem - he commented on a post with “Anti isn’t afraid of anything”

He reblogged fanart of Anti as a deviant, commenting with “F R E E”

And the titles of both videos that day were very ominous.

July 23rd - in his roast video, he said, “This is your chance to get a few stabs in. Get the knife, go crazy. Twist it, turn it!”, with an eerie smile and crazed look in his eyes at the end.

July 25th - the goddamn intro....the goddamn intro is the exact opposite. It’s supposedly Anti’s intro - word for word.

July 29th - He reblogged artwork of Jackieboy Man with the artist commenting on how they miss him. He commented with “We all do :)”

He also reblogged a gifset of him from REACT explaining how people want to see behind the veil, commenting with a winky face.

August 1st - he changed the title of the 1st FNAF Sister Location video to “THE START OF THE NIGHTMARE”

August 3rd - in the outro, Sam’s tank is broken and a figure is faintly seen laughing or screaming the background. Maybe it’s Jack trying to call out for help? (Just a little reminder: This was the anniversary of KJSE, in which we barely even heard Jack call out for help in....)

August 5th - at the very end, “I will return when you least expect it” is heard being said in reverse (If Anti’s been in control for this long and we haven’t been able to notice till now, I’d say it’s pretty fucking unexpected).

September 21st - Oh boy. There were glitches.

The title and description, as well as the fact he linked FNAF Sister Location as well.

September 24th - OH BOY. There were glitches, some of which showed Anti from “Dark Silence”

His right eye in the thumbnail is glitchy and has a small green tint to it.

And the title changed multiple times, once asking “HAVEYOUSEENHIM” and another with “HELP” combined with “edited” - maybe Jack’s trying to call out for our help.

October 14th - there were glitches in the video, most notable a glitch splitting down his face to show one side all glitchy, all right as he said, “Time to take off the masks” while grinning.

Earlier on, he questioned if he was dead, checked his pulse, and confirmed that he was in fact dead.

October 16th - the description was calling us out as puppets and asking us if we knew who the Puppet Master was - possibly Anti taking a jab at us.

October 20th - there were a few glitches with someone - possibly Chase - trying to reach out and tell Jack to wake up, only to get cut off.

October 22nd - During the Q&A at the Amsterdam show, he was questioned if Anti would be back on Halloween. He said “I don’t know, I can’t tell, maybe, who knows?” (If Anti’s been in control all this time, then he was right there, boldface lying to everyone because surprise surprise, he’s been here the entire time!)

October 26th - the title of the video blatantly telling us “The end is here”

November 11th - He reblogged a post about the Undertale thumbnails relating to Anti, to which he commented with “Time is broken”. I would like to point out here that, to me, it seems like any of the glitches we’ve seen before this have been more...subtle? Like, with Say Goodbye, Always Watching, KJSE - the glitches all seemed more frantic and intense. Any glitches we’ve gotten this year leading up to THIS video seemed a lot more subtle to me and it wasn’t until “Umfend” when we got more spastic glitches. Just an observation - maybe because it’s getting closer to when a certain someone was going to show himself...

December 6th - He was seen wearing his gauges to the awards. (Granted, it could be just because he wants to wear them for fun, but still...maybe our glitchy boy is getting more comfortable in his new meat suit).

December 7th - the title informing us to watch the ending (also a jab at what happened yesterday)

The goddamn outro was all glitchy and Sam disappears on 2-3 occasions - could be implying that Jack truly is gone and a certain someone is in control...

December 9th - at one point during the stream, he’s looking at Ethan like he wants to kill him (this just reminds me of last year’s Christmas stream when he told Ethan he was feeling murderous)

December 11th - the title - could be in reference that the big twist is that we’ve been watching Anti this whole time.

December 14th - the title of the video (also Cloak’s slogan) as well as the ominous description

At this point, he’s just blatantly telling us that he is right there in front of us, that he’s the one in control and we’re too fucking blind to see it. He took control of Jack way back in May during “Exiles” - just lured him in and with no warning, got to him. He made his eyes bleed, and with that, managed to kill him AGAIN and take control, and this time he’s ACED becoming human. How?

Schneep wasn’t there to save Jack this time.

We last saw him on MAY 4TH! I would also like to add how - to me, anyway - it sounded like his voice cracked at one point and like there was pure madness in his eyes. Cause remember this, we STILL have no idea what happened from August 3rd, 2017 up to this date. We STILL have no idea what happened to our doctor. Yeah, some of you will say he had gone of vacation, but really, after what happened in KJSE, I CANNOT see how or why he would’ve gone on vacation. As I see it, he’s either horribly traumatized, he was corrupted by Anti, or he got replaced (in which case, the man seen here would not be Schneep).

I would also like to add, you know who else we haven’t seen since then?

Dr. Jacksepticeye - the one man we can all agree is NOT our doctor.

May 4th was the last time we ever saw Schneep and Dr. JSE. This was BEFORE Jack woke up and remembered what Anti did, as well as before he was murdered in “Exiles”. For 7 months now, we haven’t seen Schneep or Dr. JSE. 7 MONTHS! 

Kind of coincidental if you ask me to have Schneep vanish only days before Jack was trapped, murdered, and possessed. Almost like it was all a trap....maybe Dr. JSE was a puppet or Anti in disguise, used to lure Schneep out...to take him out of the picture for good. Because without a doctor around, Jack’s left a helpless victim.

I’m just so pleased and happy to have made it! I have so many existing incomplete stories that it’s astounding for me to actually complete a multi-chapter story. Once again, I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU!! to my readers for staying with me to the end, providing me feedback and expressing interest, motivating and inspiring me enough to reach this point.

The following is really just about my rambling, about my thoughts, about the planning process and my decisions, so do keep reading if you’re interested in the makings of this story. I just feel like sharing (aka: blah blah blah) since, again, I actually friggin completed a story omg (´；Д；｀)

First of all, let’s go way back to near the end of October 2016, not long after LLS Season 1 ended. Yes this is so long ago lmao. After drawing several canon-related fanarts and writing short blips to satiate my thirst, I decided to create a complete whole AU so I can fantasize more XD I ended up picking the Harry Potter verse because, come on, it’s always fun trying to Sort your favorite characters and think about their abilities and whatnot.

Ideas started to whirl and initial sketches began. There’s an old post explaining why I Sort the girls into their respective Houses. That’s also when extra details were pondered over, the why and the pros in doing so. You should know by this point that I’m a complete useless 3rd Years trash, but as I brainstorm more, I realize that their story is more suitable to be a prequel, something that supplements a main story. And so, what should the main story be about? What kind of story do I want to present? Who would be the perfect main character/narrator for this?

Yoshiko. In canon, she’s already associated with (black) magic and, as a First-Year and Muggleborn, she would be perfect for a reader to immerse into this fascinating new world of magic through her perspective. As an old post says, I fudged up the School Term and age during the initial stage and didn’t realize until everything’s all finalized, that’s why I had to keep it as it is XD;;;;

Anyway, at this point, I’ve already decided Yoshiko to be a Horcrux, with the antagonist of this story to be Yohane, and how the last few chapters are going to play out.  Everything else, even the other characters’ backgrounds are all further elaborated and refined based off of this central plot. On a side note, how sexy is Aikyan’s solo in the 3rd Live, I mean, the white and black wing I could only think about Yoshiko/Yohane DX

Ahem, I’ve always found Yoshiko’s character fascinating, that there’s a Yohane side of her even though, really, she’s Yoshiko (a good girl). The Chamber of Secrets and the Half-Blood Prince are the main source of inspiration for this particular idea, but of course HP fans might notice many elements from the original story used or modified in my story. I’m also a strong believer that the Patronus Charm can do more than just warding off Dementors or Lethifolds (and Obscurus), hence its significance in this story, especially later chapters.

Therefore, each girl’s Patronus was tentatively decided at this early stage, with 1 or 2 possibilities. After this, I then thought of what ships should this story present. As much as I did not want romance/ships be The Major Point, I have to acknowledge that ships are what people go for in a story, myself included. I understand shipping might turn people away from even trying a story, that’s why I kept it secret for the first few chapters before confirming it on tumblr (where the chapters were first uploaded). I was just testing the waters, to see if people are interested in the story enough to keep reading even if the ships aren’t their preferences.

Back to planning stage - as a multi-shipper, I did not want to set in stone right off the bat what the ships are either. And thus I continued expanding on ideas and see where things would  go, keeping most of the initial interactions and important moments intact. This is why there are times it might seem there are multiple pairings even though nothing was specified (cough wee kanadia, youriko etc (｡･ ω<)ゞてへぺろ♡). Not to mention, as the main character, Yoshiko will always have moments with each of the 8 girls. I remember joking in an old post that, if this were a gal-game, there are various routes to this story, from the default path to those you have to unlock via certain conditions XDDD

Naturally, members of the 1st-year trio and Guilty Kiss get more screen time with Yoshiko. Then, as a fellow Slytherin and part of the tsurime trio, Dia does too. Not to mention Season1’s anime ED shows You & Angel together, You gets special moments too. Chika is Aqours’ leader who first accepted Yoshiko into the group as datenshi, so I tried to show that as much as I could given the circumstances in the story. And so, this leaves poor orca on the side lol. But yeah, YoshiMaru, YoshiRiko, YoshiRuby, so many possibilities! However, as more details get finalized, such as Yoshiko’s childhood, her Shiira-KANSU! Patronus and about the Augurey, YoshiMaru just happened. Things seem to click into place with their love as the focal point and I was able to keep expanding the story. First puppy love, innocent and pure. A dream that grew to become reality. Could other ships have worked? Yes, but then that would’ve given this story a different direction and it wouldn’t have been LLSHP AU – Yoshiko Tsushima and the Fallen Angel anymore. As I developed YoshiMaru more and more, I was very satisfied with my choice.

On a side note, I confirm Yoshiko did have a crush on You at first (and Hanamaru had a crush on Kanan) xD it’s mostly just physical attraction in a “the-senpai-I-admire” kind of way, and it soon morphs to strong friendship as this story progresses. I don’t know if this was obvious at all but that’s why these two girls always have a soft spot for Gryffindor Baka#2 and Baka #3 xD!!!

On the other hand, I was not expecting DiaRiko to form. Yes, it was my guilty ship but I didn’t intend for them to be a couple in this story, just close friends/confidantes. In canon, they’re already the straight man of their respective year trios (most of the time anyway, I’m looking at you ponkotsu penguin). Yet, given their respective pasts and personalities, they became intimately close and found solace with each other, and that kind of relationship is what I tried to show to the readers, especially through the Carbonado Interlude. They’re not predestined to fall in love but they did and found happiness. Out of the four ships, I was most worried about DiaRiko since it’s a rareship unlike the other three. That’s why I keep saying how pleased I am that it ended up being well-received by fans ;;A;;

ChikaYou came to be as I finalize the 2ndYears’ background and Riko’s part, while KanaMari’s story is set aside for the prequel and thus not given much spotlight in the main story (and also due POV effect). In spite of how much I adore ChikaYou, it’s also not shown much because of what happened in the story but also because I wanted to present their dynamic as a duo and CYR bond with Ruby (since that’s how Yoshiko perceives them most of the time anyway).  

Ruby, my widdle cinnamon roll baby, is left unpaired for a reason. I want to show that platonic/friendship love is just as wonderful and powerful. There’s a saying ‘lovers come and go, but friends are for life’, and that’s exactly what Yoshiko and Hanamaru meant for Ruby, and vice versa. Now, while I’m on this, I have a confession about Ruby’s fate. After the concept arts were drawn and uploaded, I was finalizing the details of the three Arcs before I toss the first chapter onto tumblr. The end of ch19 is definitely one of the biggest climax of the story - Ruby ended up being Yohane’s target instead of Dia. Originally, uh, yeah, Ruby is supposed to die because her wounds were too much. Regular healing spells do not work on sectumsempra, only a special counter-Curse could reverse the effects. I tried very hard to find a way around it to save her. I don’t want my baby to die, any of them really, and she still have so much ahead of her. Fortunately, I was able to save her through Yoshiko/Yohane which, in turn, saved this raven-haired girl as well. I was able to continue working backwards on finalizing the Arcs and individual chapters with a peaceful state of mind.

‘Yoshiko’, as in the one who’s been narrating the story from ch1-20, still died in a way, but at least I was able to change the story from Bad End to True End (?). True End is the ch21 I uploaded. Bad End route would have Ruby dead, Yoshiko gone and ch21 would turn out completely different. A Happy End would be Yoshiko the Narrator miraculously alive and the others not having scars or still recovering, but I just find that too unrealistic. I’ve minimized the, uh, damage enough as it is, given the circumstances. J.K. Rowling did go on a killing spree in Book7 but come on, with a psychotic maniac like Voldemort and all those magical spells, you can easily kill people. You don’t need Avada Kedavra to kill someone, a sudden Diffindo or Reducto is enough. I’ve chosen my sacrifice and one is too many already. And speaking of sacrifice, let me talk a bit about Riko and why she was the ‘first victim’. Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare. Even though this story was outlined even before the First Live, this song already stands out to me from the anime, a song where the 8 of them sang in Riko’s absence but her spirit is still with them. And so, I sort of portrayed that the way it is in this story. Even though Riko didn’t get any lines from ch12 onward until ch20, her role remains significant and is the pivotal point for the remainder of Arc2 and Arc3. In terms of the plot, I’ve followed my outline quite closely. All the core points remained unchanged as I write out the chapters, though how I write a chapter (ie the wording, the extra little details, and actual professor dialogues instead of just narration) did change as I go along, influenced by more of the official content. Facts about characters that are only revealed in Season2 or other media such as SIF etc were not incorporated into this story (for example, Kanan being afraid of ghosts and height). As I mentioned in an older post about wands, I would have chosen phoenix feather for Ruby’s wand core had I known about the Duo-Trio results. The Kazuno sisters would have been incorporated into the story alas, back then, very little was known about Saint Snow in Season1 of the anime. Yes… season2 was finished and, like, a total of 15 live performances have happened between the creation and the completion of this story LOL Back to the plot. Seven is said to be a magical number in the HP verse and that’s why each Arc has 7 chapters. Arc 1 is the Intro, Arc 2 is the turning point, Arc 3 is the climax and the resolution. Sounds easy and straightforward so I thought I would’ve finished the story within a year. Well. It ended up almost taking two years lmao. Obligations IRL aside, new ideas, more AUs, more fanarts etc also make sticking to the update schedule difficult. It’s the worst when it comes to writer’s block – you have the outlines, you know what’s supposed to happen in a chapter, yet the words just aren’t flowing and you’re stuck. Thankfully, with you lovely readers giving the feedback and encouragement I need, I made it over each bump on the road to get to the finale. Hanamaru wrote most of this story, yes. Each chapter titles with exception of Ruby’s interlude and ch18-19 also showed up in ch21. The title of the ‘book’ is supposed to be revealed in the Epilogue but, since I had to upload it onto Fanfiction.Net, I can’t just call it LLSHP AU so I had to reveal “Yoshiko Tsushima and the Fallen Angel” right away. Back then I called this a temporary title because I did think about giving this story an alternate title, since she didn’t write the interludes, ch21 and the epilogue. However, at the end of the day, this still suits the story best. After all, the individual titles for ch21 and the epilogue make up the story’s title.

“Yoshiko has always known that she isn't normal like everyone else. Surely, she would master everything about magic at Hogwarts, and become the amazing fallen angel she's meant to be. Little did she know, her school year would be more than eventful as she makes great friends, uncovers secrets, and learns what it truly means to be Yohane.” - this is the summary I put on Fanfiction.Net. It speaks from both Yoshiko the Narrator’s perspective, and Yoshiko from the Epilogue’s perspective. It probably sounds confusing but I hope you understand what I mean. So, what’s next? I’ve invested a lot in this world of LLSHP AU already and there are still so many more possibilities, especially with the rather open ending both ch21 and the epilogue presents, so I’m definitely not done with this AU! Since I have the memory of a goldfish, I don’t know if I’ve already mentioned this but the prequel will be told mostly in Mari’s POV. It will have occasional Dia and Kanan POVs too (because I’m a shameless 3yrs-oshi and writer privilege); Rather than taking forever to write and cramping the scenes into a massive interlude chapters, I’ve decided to split it in shorter chapters - this will roughly be a 12-part story that took place before the main story, showcasing segments of the kanadiamari’s first 3 years at Hogwarts.

This prequel is… relatively normal and lighter compared to the main story, meaning it’s more school-oriented and more slice-of-life episodes for the most part (at least, that’s the outline), and much more Professor cameos. There will be more N-card girls to be showcased as well, such as kanadiamari’s Housemates and Quidditch teammates. Overall, it’ll be shiny °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° There will not be a full sequel to the main story. Instead, there will be blips/drabbles about events that happen after the main story, as teased in the Epilogue - the TriWizard Tournament for one XD And, unlike the main story, the ideas for blips in this sequel-timeline are more vague, so I’ll be able to incorporate new content into it (as in, from official content 2017 onward such as proper characterization of Saint Snow).

There are plans for omake/filler fun blips as well - little incidents that happened throughout the main story or, rather, ‘excerpts’ that Hanamaru wrote but didn’t make it to the final version of her book. The first Halloween, more scenes with the Professors, birthdays and so on.

There are also plans for character-exclusive blips as well, similar to an Interlude. For example, DiaRiko’s ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) cough cough.

My tentative plan is to keep going with the prequel, and maybe every few chapter or so I’d write a sequel-timeline blip. I’ll see how my muse and inspiration is in the future, I’m already extremely satisfied that I finished the main story XD And I do want to work on some of my other existing AUs (ie Animus AU and Mafia AU just because I’ve already invested time in creating the concept arts and so I don’t want them to sink into oblivion…) or who knows, there might be new AUs. I mean, pretty much every new SIF set is enough to inspire a brand new AU please allow me a moment to giggle like the trash I am over the DiaRiko UR set *pterodactyl screech*

AHEM. Another thing is illustration/artworks. Since most of my time was spent on writing, there are much fewer artworks than I would’ve liked for this story. I think I mentioned this somewhere that I’d love to have an individual cover art for each chapter alas, no time at all DX I’d like to have at least one illustration per chapter too but OTL I can only pick one and so for this AU I chose writing over drawing. Cry.

Anyway, I’ve rambled long enough and I think I’ve talked about everything I want to get off my chest. Deep Dive:  Utapri Movie and beyond

So earlier today I was telling a friend of mine on twitter in @heavens-saved-my-life that I was going to be talking about UtaPri because its that time when we get closer to the start of all the chaos with all the big releases coming out and I have to start to think about WHAT is possibly going to happen soon. Now before we get started I must make mention of this The title is “UtaPri Movie and beyond” BUT we are going to start with the buildup FIRST and THEN get into the actual movie and beyond cos a lot of crazy s**t is about to go down for UtaPri and we need to really take hold of it Let’s get started

Alright so between NOW and the end of the year the big things that we already know are happening/coming out are as follows Shining Live’s 1st Anniversary around the end of this month QUARTET NIGHT’s Duet Dramas in October A Shuffle Unit MV CD set in November And the first Drama CD for Oto/Van/Ai on Van’s birthday no less...interesting time for his birthday to be sure! You will note that I omitted for now the “STARISH BEST” CD and the HEAVENS “Mini Album”.  I did that because as of now we don’t know when those are coming out but I think its safe to say that they are going to be sometime at the end of this year but its a matter of “When”.  It should also be noted that the QN event will be taking place in November as well so that is definitely something to think about when we look at how jammed up this year is with events and releases THIS however brings us to the Duets and thinking about the idea that ,with the releases ending February of 2019, that the Movie couldn’t be that far behind right? WELL... Something I have been thinking about recently is that Broccoli has had the project for Dolce Vita going LONGER than the movie coming up.  The game was announced at the 6th Anniversary with HEAVENS being revealed at the Anniversary before this one.  Now when you take into consideration also that ,at least for Western markets, the gamecards for the VITA stop production as of March of next year then things get interesting. Now...how would this effect the movie? One thing I keep thinking about is HEAVENS’ role within the game and the movie coming up.  The CDs are “trio” CDs and that could lead for some interesting potential given that they are going to be considered “drama” CDs. One thing I have wondered lately is this:  Are the CDs just going to be the song for the units and then the Drama OR...could they do this  Track 1 is the Trio song 2-4 would be a solo song for the members of the units track 5 is the drama then a couple more for the off vocals Another way they could do it (if they wanted to) would be like this Track 1 is the drama Track 2 is the main song 3-5 are solos 6-9 would be the off vocal versions. THIS is something I was thinking about for the CDs and if this is what they would do then I’m cool with it.  If they do just the “dramas” and the one song that’s fine too...but there is something I considered over the past few months IF (and I mean IF) they are using the CDs to do the the story and then the movie is the concert...that could be an issue.  The reason is that because the CDs are never sold with an English translation on the booklet (and this CAN be done...I own a couple of CDs that have the JP lyrics and the English or Romanji so its NOT like that can’t be done) then the fans are fucked unless someone LITERALLY buys each CD with the intent to translate all the dramas and even then by the time those get posted are you still interested in them? Now let’s talk about the game and why I was wondering about the track listing For at least the first two seasons the CDs had one song which was the insert for that character/group and the other was used for a game.  If I remember right the ones for S1 had songs from “Debut” in them and then 2000% was for one of the All-Star games...so far those are the only ones of memory I remember being used for games that were on the Anime singles.  If they are planning to have songs for all the characters in the game then you need to create a B-Side for each one of them UNLESS Brocc intends to use the songs from S4 for that purpose but then that would be weird cos you are using “old songs” to market for the game...see the problem? Now this is just Dolce and MLKingdom I’m talking here...we haven’t even DISCUSSED beyond that! Well before that we have to go over this as it pertains to HEAVENS 2019 is going to be a very interesting year for the group that you could argue SHOULDN’T be in the position they are.  They are a group that ,let’s be fair, WAS an Antag group in Season 2 that got beat ,should have disbanded but got saved, and then reappeared at the end of Season 3 cos apparently Shining and Raging were in cahoots the whole time up until all hell broke loose with the EiiOto episode.  Ironically THAT has become a pretty popular ship in Japan with all the fanart I see for them together (even the fem versions which is interesting). (and for anyone curious Yamato/Kira and Eiji/Yamato is apparently a thing over there too) The thing is that HEAVENS SHOULDN’T be in the position they are and even I can freely admit that.  Brocc has allowed them to remain long enough where they are gaining a following (at least on twitter) and now they have a store coming and their own radio show next year.  THIS makes me wonder Brocc’s plan with the series because you CAN’T just stop it after starting to give HEAVENS their own store and stuff now.  Maybe if they were kept as pure Antags and they were beat in S2 and gone I don’t think anyone would care but now the group is about 5 years old in total with 3 being a 7 member unit and getting traction.  THAT could have either BEEN in the plan from the start with them OR it could have been something that was pure accident...I’m very close to thinking the latter. HEAVENS’ future I think will be determined with their single coming up near the end of this year (and the possible concert for them after that) because if they start to really get traction in Japan (and Korea as well from what I have seen which shocks me somewhat) AND they can start to become more accepted in the West like STARISH or QN did then we have the makings for a genuine rivalry because you will have 3 very strong and healthy fanbases that want to see what is next for their groups. THIS brings me to “What should Broccoli do after the movie?” Let’s say the movie does well enough (and with three years production time it kind of better at this point) and Brocc sees that UtaPri is still being supported strongly at least Domestically in Japan (and to a lesser extent internationally) they might consider doing a “10th Anniversary season” for the Anime in 2021 which ,if they do, I would LOVE for them to do one season that is purely HEAVENS and no distractions and the reason is this IF we are to assume that this movie will be the “send off” for STARISH (and possibly QN and I am not sure about either right now) then it would be nice to see HEAVENS get a run on their own so we can develop them NOT as Antagonists anymore but more as people that want to establish their own identity and brand.  I think that is part of the issue Broccoli kind of has with them now is they are so stuck on doing things for them like they are STARISH or QN that all people might see them as internationally is “carbon copies: and that is what I want to see them get away from.  Show US that HEAVENS is more than just a “rival group” and show us what makes them special.  I think some of us kind of ALREADY know but some might still need convincing and I get it but how is going to be the important part. Do I think Broccoli has a plan for HEAVENS right now?  I do but what is going to be interesting because if they keep tying them to STARISH then they can’t grow as a group cos they will live in their shadow to be honest.  Now they have QN members to deal with and ,even though they stuck up for them at the Triple S, the idea that QN would want to see them “grow” would be an interesting development. Keep this in mind too In a good number of these its one HEAVENS member to a STARISH and a QN member.  The ONLY one that is different is the one with Nagi/Shion/Syo and its a very interesting thing there because the question I would ask then is this “What role will the QN members play in these dramas?  Are they the buffers between HEAVENS and STARISH members or are they going to side with their Agencymates?” I still think that it would be interesting for them to introduce a manager for HEAVENS and come up with some plotline where they get infatuated with Nanami and that could cause a unique bridge for Season 5 because ,if you want to keep it going, you could have now two separate things going with Shining and Raging offices going at it for the ultimate popularity...okay STARISH might win in the end in that season BUT as we know in the real world HEAVENS has beaten STARISH in the peak ranks before.  There are #’s to back this up. Again though everything I am going on is speculation.  I think for now its going to be interesting because of the fact that the “Drama CDs” are ending at the end of February so I’m wondering when you would air the movie?  One idea I had was in July because ,look it up, and its the 8 year Anniversary of Season 1 next year in July.  I think that would be a fitting bookend for the Anime for sure. OH...there is ONE OTHER THING I thought about recently While the Anime hasn’t been officially/publicly declared as “ended” I did recent;y think about this The month that the season STARTED in was October One thing I have noticed at times is that when some Animes air any other time of the year they usually are going to get another season.  Now...I looked it up and one of the last Animes I remember watching start to finish that has had a “definitive end” at this point is K Project because ,despite the OVAs that are coming out, there has not been a new season announced. For those of us that forgot K Project’s “final season” aired from 10/3/2015 to 12/26/2015...almost parallel to UtaPri no? The difference between K Project and UtaPri was that when they showed Adolf Weismann sitting in Shiro’s old apartment they basically said about K Project “Game Over” The thing is that at least made some kind of sense cos you got to meet JUNGLE in the Movie a little bit and we saw them TRULY get theirs in “Return of Kings” so that ending fit like a glove The end of Season 4 for Utapri for SOME might probably signify the end of the series (and if it is then fine I can live with it somewhat now) but the thing is with UtaPri there was no one that NEEDED to “get theirs” and in reality all the groups should have been allowed to be happy.  Okay we know what one of the final scenes for the season was with all of them singing “Legend Star” together but think about this from the perspective of a HEAVENS fan after watching your group get the crap kicked out them to a degree with the ending not so much being “happy” but one of those you reluctantly come to terms with cos you think eventually you get YOUR moment and you are happy with it. I think that is why I am reluctant to think Brocc is just gonna pull the plug on the Anime when it no doubt still makes them money along with their CDs...I defy you to show me that it doesn’t and if you can then great but right now I think its probably one of their more popular franchises so why can it?  If they think Classical Stars is going to blow up like UtaPri they MIGHT be setting themselves up for a cold dose of reality BUT we’ll wait and see. I think for a lot of fans (myself included) the day we have to accept UtaPri is “over” is gonna be hell.  Like when it happens we are gonna be in tears because of the fact that ,no matter what group you affiliate with or who your “best boy” is, UtaPri is going to be such an integral part in all of our lives that NOT hearing from any of the members of STARISH ,QN or HEAVENS would SUCK! What does Broc have in store for us after the movie in 2019?  Hopefully a lot more content musicwise and hopefully they keep expanding UtaPri because there is still A LOT of growth for it to have but they have to be willing to not pull the plug before it reaches its peak potential. It was dark… everything was set… and Neptune was scurrying across the bedroom, refusing to take his nap!

“I don’t even like naps! You can’t make me take one!” He said, his voice slightly creaky.

“Seriously, Neptune… GO TO SLEEP!” Bard shouted.

“It’s the middle of the afternoon! Why should I sleep in the middle of the afternoon?” Neptune asked. “I’m not even tired!”

“I have an idea!” Rudy exclaimed.

“Why did you give him a music box PLAYING JINGLE BELLS!?!” Bard questioned,“It’s not even helping!”.

“Please go to sleep, Neptune!” Rudy gently asked of the boy.

“No… there are monsters in the closet!” Neptune shivered.

“There are no such things as monsters!” Bard calmly sighed. “Vincent! You mind checking the closet?”.

“Sure!” Vincent answered as he went to the closet. Inside, there was a skinny, boney creature with the corpses of dead children all around it as well as one of a little girl clutched in it’s hand…

And then Bard decided that Neptune was having nap time on the couch that time!

Hey guys, this is my first time making a public fix for all to see! This isn’t the first one (the 1st was even longer and might go up on my first anniversary of having tumblr!).

Also, originally, it was Vincent who decided that Neptune would sleep on the couch before realizing it would be more suitable for Bard!

Bard’s design gets a full overhaul!

Rudy gets a new Outfit and his hair was desaturated (is that the right word?)!

Nothing much changed for Vincent, I just redid the original human design to fit the art style change

Neptune redesign pending, and after that, new humanized character reveals!

will we get a 3rd season?

*Personal opinion alert, please read at your own risk*

first of all, let's lay out some facts:

Total BD/DVD 1st week(初動) sales for osomatsu san 2 第1松 sat at around ~11,000. This is approximately one eighth of the last season DVD 1st week sales (osomatsu san 1 第1松), which was around ~80,000. 

Osomatsu san 2 ranked 3rd in BD/DVD sales from 2017 fall season, followed closely by love live sunshine and idol master side M. Osomatsu san 1 btw was a definite top contender in 2015 fall season (nothing came close to it really).

On Nico nico douga, one october episode (I forgot which one sorry and I can’t be bothered to look into it lols) of Osomatsu san 2 was ranked 32nd (out of 33), showing a significant drop in viewership compared to the last season.

All those ‘twitter trends’ you used to see after osomatsu san episode aired? I’d say it happens very rarely at this point.

This is just my personal observation but, back in season 1 when I searched for ‘episode reviews/recaps’ on google, I’d actually get more than 100 search results. Now I get around half, if I’m being generous.

Here’s my *highly* personal analysis as to why there was a sudden dip in popularity:

2 years? That’s one heck of a long and yet, I guess in another way, an extremely short hiatus. 2 years is such an awkward gap. You see, old fans had to rely on 3rd sources for ‘filler/non-canon’ entertainment and wait for the animation to come out. For two whole freaking years! But it’s also not enough time for the new fans to be recruited into the fandom. We all remember the big impact osomatsu san had on the anime scene. Everyone knows what to expect from osomatsu san, and it doesn’t give people ‘nostalgia’ or a ‘fresh appeal’. Case in point, jojo and durara successfully weaved in BOTH the old and new fans. 

They started it off wrong. So I used to follow this artist and she was really offended that, after two years of waiting, staffs had to start the series by poking fun/making jokes about the fans that have supported the series for so long. She doesn’t post osomatsu san fanart anymore. Me? I personally did not care honestly. And yeah, she’s probably one of those extreme cases. But I guess what I’m trying to argue here is that osomatsu san staffs kinda messed with their target audience.

Other contenders for anime fall season 2017. At least, from what I’ve observed, the most talked about animes from last season were titles like: Blend S, Kekkai sensen, shoujo shuumatsu, umaru.. wait the list goes on. Yeah, osomatsu san 2 was up against many well-written popular shows. And winter 2018? poputepipikku. Not looking so well either.

Season 2 got funnier as the episodes went on. Now this is actually a matter of personal opinion but I think season 2 got much more interesting/funny towards the end of cour 1. I read somewhere on someoneelse’s blog that the earlier episodes weren’t as funny because they were mostly comprised of skits that gave half-ass delivery with no real conclusion. I don’t necessarily agree with this but, I do agree that some of these skits were too short to give it a real impact. For example, cavematsu skits. ohgodthecavematsuskits. My friend dropped osomatsu san 2 after epsiode 4 I think. I had to convince her to stick around for more, and thank god she did. A weak start can drive people away.

Now I'm not trying to say that we definitely won’t get a third season. I mean, 10,000 BD/DVD 初動 sales is honestly a really big feat for any other ‘normal anime shows’. And Osomatsu san 2 is showing some real promise right now. The latest episode was really great, it kinda reminded me of jyushimatsu incident episode! If they can keep up with this, I don’t see why not. But for now, I won’t hold my breath, I’ll just keep praying.

What are your top 5 favorite edits you’ve done for the blog so far?

Oh man, I’ve made so many random shitposts. In chronological order below!

1) This one because I love Obama memes and Engeki Haikyuu!! Also I’d never used the perspective tool before when editing, so this edit was a great learning experience for me. (I should really make an updated version of this with our new setters.)

2) I’m getting flashbacks from the war. Oh my god, this one took forever to make. I saw a Lazytown version of this meme, and I found it so hilarious that I had to make one for the Haikyuu!! opening!

3) I love Deadchi so much, and I was ecstatic when I saw how much love my series received.

4) I remember seeing the original post that this was inspired by and knew I had to make a Hinata version. There are still some problems I have with it, but I feel like it looks fairly realistic (minus the fact that Hinata’s animated).

5) A funny one I made when we first got the announcement of a Haikyuu!! dub. I don’t know, I just sort of like how simple it is.

I basically just chose edits I had a lot of fun making! I have a pretty selective memory, so I don’t exactly remember which edits helped me develop my skills like Mod Bokuto’s picks are. WHOOPS.

I started watching Haikyuu!! after I finished Free! I wasn’t ready to escape the sports anime genre yet, so I thought that Haikyuu!! would be fun to watch.

What were your top 5 favorite edits you’ve done for the blog so far?

in chronological order:

1) this one isn’t as good because it’s an old edit, but it’s important because making this edit really helped me learn how to effectively use my editing program. the skills i learned from making this edit essentially made the rest of these edits on the list. plus oipepe is bae

2) this was really my first very ambitious edit, and although i see a lot of flaws with it now i think it’s pretty impressive considering the skills i had back then. 

3) oh this edit sure was a doozy. it took me a super long time but i was really satisfied with how it turned out. once again, this edit helped me learn more tricks and tips in making better edits.

4) this edit wasn’t super hard and didn’t really help me learn anything it was just super fun to make lmaooo

5) and, of course, this edit. i think it may be my best one yet. it’s a culmination of all the skills i’ve learned over the past year. also some people in the notes thought it was real so that must mean it’s super good, right? 

i mostly chose edits that were lengthy and required a lot of skill. there’s a lot that didn’t make onto the list that i chose because i thought it was clever lol

I am in a good mood today and felt like showing how grateful I am for my mutuals. If you’re looking for new blogs to follow, try some of these! @nishikinico - Lots of Love Live, anime in general, tons of memes, and commentary on social issues. They make mixes of Love Live songs and all their work is super, check them out! They have a search function on their blog and if you type in “mix” it’ll come up with a lot of cool stuff they’ve made!

@satanstolemyblog - This is one of my IRL buddies. He posts a lot of video game related stuff but also a lot of comedy stuff. He’s a super cool dude. I also live with him so if you like my blog there’s a high chance you’ll like his. 

@sasquatch-penetration - I totally forget how or why my and Kieran became mutuals but they post a lot of funny stuff and if I’m in a bad mood and just looking for laughs I tend to go to their blog and just scroll on it endlessly. 

@aceserena - Me and Serena played LoL together awhile ago! Lots of gaming, jokes, and some cute stuff too! High quality. 10/10 would duo again. Overall super chill and they’re one of the few mutuals I’ve interacted with.

@artoria-official - Lots of anime, lots of gaming, lots of...are you picking up on the theme of who I follow and who follows me? I’ve only interacted with them once but they were super friendly and helpful! They didn’t make me feel awkward about reaching out despite the lack of any small talk or lead into the conversation so they’re obviously a good person!

@alanshitpostsandgames - Lots and lots of Pokemon! Pokemon being one of my main hobbies pretty much anyone with quality Pokemon posts is worth a follow in my book. They post a lot of silly stuff too. I only recently started to follow them but they’ve put up with me for awhile so clearly they have good taste.

@iamhedwig915 - Another of my IRL friends. They post a lot of comedy stuff and in general are just super nice. I lived with them for over a year and I can’t honestly say anything negative about them. They were just such a sweet person and one of the best roommates. 

@so-hufflepunk - This is my girlfriend. Going off of messenger and nothing else, she’s tied for 1st for my most interacted with. She posts a lot of cute funny things and I just love her a lot and most of my sense of humor comes from her. If you want my blog to have cute stuff instead of anime, she’s your girl! She’s actually my girl but she’s your blog! Actually it’s her blog but you should follow her!

@theblackwitchworld - Lots of Madoka and Love Live. Madoka was one of the first animes that I got to sit down and watch with friends. It’s one of the biggest ties I have to one of my best friends. Meanwhile, Love Live is my favorite anime and probably the only anime they I have ever been actively invested in. So when I found a blog with both, it only made sense to follow them! 0 clue why they follow me tho

@suprememeep - We met during a Splatfest in Splatoon! Our group did super well with like 20+ wins. We found each other on Tumblr after that and have followed each other sense! If you were active in the Neko Atsume fandom, they created Glunkus and Hobo! They’re super friendly and I love interacting with them, even if it’s less than I’d like. 

@daeronsingollo - I forget how or why we started following each other, but they reply to a lot of my posts and whenever I interact with them it’s super enjoyable! They post a lot of Pokemon, art, and cute things! I love their blog a lot and it’s one of the more aesthetically pleasing blogs I follow.

@theamazingpants - Another IRL person. Me and Pants have been friends since 2010 or 2011. He’s probably one of my closest friends and I really care about him. He posts a lot of anime and gaming, surprise. He’s one of those people that you could never see yourself befriending nowadays, but because of the history, it just keeps working. <3

@flailmorpho - Me and Flail met on the Anivia tag! We both mained Anivia for a long time, it being our main common interest. Lots of comedy, gaming, and commentary. Super nice overall and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for someone chill to follow. 

@luccario8 - I think me and Luccario also met over on the Anivia tag. They post a lot of gaming stuff as well as comedy. Interactions with them are always super pleasant and I can’t do anything but praise them. Check them out!

@dustyshark - Another comedy blog I follow! They post a lot of happy stuff and only top quality jokes. I super love their blog and steal a lot of the jokes they reblog. They have amazing content and if you want more humor in your life I recommend heading over there.

@hornlessquipster - IRL friend and my gf’s roommate for 2 years now. They are LITERALLY the nicest person I know. They have offered me a place to stay when times were tough, they are always sticking their neck out for others, they are involved in so much stuff I literally do not know how they continue to function. They are super great and I love them. 

@nitrogennightmare - I follow a lot more IRL people than I thought. This is one of my best friends. They post a lot of comedy, music, and aesthetic stuff.  We vent to each other a lot, but because we both stink at staying in touch with people, mainly me, we’ve lost touch recently. They are super laid back and I love them 

@captaincrunchmakesmebleed - Anime and Comedy. This is one of the blogs I’ve followed and loved for a long time. I made them fanart once! They just came back from being dead for awhile. I really looked up to their blog for a long time and reblog a lot of stuff from them. Easily one of my favorite blogs on this hellsite. 

@spooksbot - I LOVE SPOOKS! While we don’t interact a lot I love following them, all of our interests are pretty much the same, and they are in general a super nice person. Their blog is a lot of fun and the interact with people a lot via open reply posts. They are a super cool person. We played Overwatch once together but the time difference is killer :/ HIGH RECOMMEND 

@killer-x-queen - A super funny blog! We interacted a lot back in the day and they were always so kind and nice. They had a post that was like “send me your best pickup lines” and I just kept sending them the shittiest puns I could think of. I was having a lot of fun with them. They are a great person <3

@bottaw - An IRL friend again! Will is one of the closest friends I made at college and is one of the most, if not the most, caring individual I know. He has a lot of video games and gem things on his blog. Will may not be one my longest friends...but he is one of the oldest ;P

@zanaea - Alright this motherfucker right here. Where the fuck do I start. We have been friends since 2009. Easily in my top 5 friends, probably 1st tbh. Joe and I have been through some shit and have been there for each other every single time. They have a lot of Pokemon, Video Game, Anime, Comedy, aesthetic, they have it all. I love this kid. @thepunkin-king - Matt is one of my oldest friends, like, over 15 years now. We met in elementary school, I wanna say 1st grade so 2001.
