i would search up " ____ tumblr posts" on google on my phone with random topics to pass time and after my friends talked about being gay with each other my (at the time, straight) self wanted to see if i would get 'gay tumblr' or 'straight tumblr' which to this day i have no clue what that means

got tired of the picrew icon and wanted something pink to go along with my what? 3rd pink theme so i scrolled through my pink tag and found the cat in front of the flowers and thought " this is PERFECT omg like" and so i changed it and i was right it WAS perfect <3

pretty pink flowers to match my whole pink theme (pretty much same story as the icon)

One entire year at Tumblr :D

DEAL WITH IT

An entire year at Tumblr running a rp blog for a vampire that we now know.. A tiny bit about. Instead of just a whole lot of nothing. When I think about it, I don’t think that much has changed, but looking back... It has. Back when I started up, I honestly had no idea how the customs of tumblr RPs worked. I didn’t know about rules, formatting posts, icons... Honestly NOTHING at all. I’m still amazed that no one yelled at me.

I think I caught on pretty quickly tho, four months later, I made this blog. Changing from a sideblog, to a main. And boy, that changed a lot. With that came the new icons(why did I decide to go all out with them... Whhyyy), promos, rules, a design(that is very old holy-), and everything a RP’er should have. At least according to tumblr.

Although I have to say that I still felt a bit alone being on tumblr. I never really got to speak to people OOC, and the ones I reached out to.. Oboi (((: Let’s forget about that. It gradually became better. In May I met what I’d call my first “tumblr friend”. Who unfortunately isn’t very active RP-wise anymore.

December was wild compared to the rest of my time. Starting with a meme that led to me getting to talk with Lily(@elyon-kurae), not to mention the dear Vero(@monophagia) joining in on the RP :D! That has led to yet another chain event, and I’m very much involved in the RP community now. I think I finally understand what it’s all about.

And although I’ve been through a lot, weeks of inactivity, spikes of activity and shitposting, tons of asks, lack of asks.. Hm, well, we’re still here. I still have the pleasure of talking to most of the people I did back in the days, and a lot of new to call friends.

@forgottenprogenitor: I think you came along with Lest, with your former muse, Akane. I adored that RP, giving me a chance to show some of Urds more gentle sides. Akihiko was the absolute breakthrough though, I adore him. I love our interactions, and look forwards to yet another year!

@tatsu-rose-bathory: YOU CAME WITH A FLOWECROWN! I remember that much :D! It took a few weeks before we eventually interacted, but I was pretty much in love with Tatsu from the start(still very much am). I really enjoy reading about her, not to mention their occasional small talk they do nowadays. It’s so nice having someone around that Urd actually looks at with gentle eyes ;-;

@unforth-ninawaters - that was my username during the purge. I deleted that account, but I grabbed the username since it’s still inked places and I didn’t want anyone to yoink it or pretend to be me, that’d be awkward.

How long have you been on Tumblr? I initially signed up as unforth in December, 2012. That account became unforth-ninawaters, and then was deleted about a month after the purge. I’ve been basically active continually since then, though I did take a year hiatus after the purge.

Do you have a queue tag? I used to use a queue on the unforth-ninawaters and my queue tag was q hoo hoo. Now I don’t bother with a queue...eh, whatevs.

Why did you start your blog in the first place? I started dating @ramblingandpie in November 2012, and she used Tumblr as one of her main things, and she kept showing me stuff, and it just seemed easier to make my own account. Then we kept dating. Then we got married. Then we had kids. And now here we are.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp? I’m a simple person with simple tastes; I just wanted Jeremy Renner to look fascinated by everything I say.

Why did you choose your header? I...literally can’t remember what my header is...ah, I don’t have one, lmfao. Well, that answers that question I guess. (the more sensitive I’ve gotten to copyright and repost concerns, the less I’ve done things like that, I don’t want to steal anyone’s work, and asking would require, ya know, talking to people.)

What’s your post with the most notes? Uh...according to the top posts, it’s this one where I babble about how much I love fandom - it has 510. I kinda thought my last promo for the Destiel favs survey had more than that? But I rarely get lots of notes. Most I ever had was 2k on an unforth-ninawaters post, and that was a call out, so. Awkward. And led to a lot of anon hate.

How many people do you follow? 93, though at least four of those are actually side blogs of other people I follow.

Have you ever made a shitpost? Hell yeah. Has anyone CARED about the shitpost? Not so much.

How often do you use Tumblr? Hahahahahaaa is that joke?

Did you have a fight/argument with a blog once? Who won? I’ve been involved in...at least three...drama storms that I can remember? Probably that 2k post call out was the biggest, and while really no one wins when that kinda shit goes down, I think I got the better of it, and I stand by the things I said then, so...yeah. The others, no one wins or loses, everyone suffers, no one is happy, then it blows over and we all move on with our lives. Honestly I’d just as soon it never happen again.

How do you feel about “you need to reblog this post”? Instantly guarantees I will not reblog it.

Do you like tag games? Yes, though I use them as distractions from other things I should be doing. (case in point: right now)

Do you like ask games? Yes, though it can feel crappy when I get no asks, even from people I sent asks to.
