Hello! M here seeking F partner for slow-burn, story-based, plot-heavy, sweet but dramatic, romantic roleplays, with a healthy dash of spice when the time is right. As a result, all partners must be of legal age.

As a warning, I'm pretty vanilla, so if you're looking for a partner to engage your wild kinks, I'm probably not your guy. This is not to say I don't have kinks – I do – but even those kinks, I prefer to arise in the course of a sweet romantic story. I also dig my partner either playing pregnant to begin with, or ending up so in the course of the roleplay. And let’s not forget: forbidden love and/or taboo relationships are just *chef’s kiss* – as long as, see above, they’re still sweet and romantic. I've talked about these things a lot on this blog, so a lot of this might be repeated things I've talked about before, but I've always said that I've described my experiences as "identity hyperfixations", where I latch onto things, even just Words that I find myself really liking, and an "identity" is "created" based around that Thing.

For some examples from my personal experiences!:

A lot of the time, these "identity hyperfixations" involve me latching onto media, particularly whatever current media we may or may not be interested in in the moment.

There's a game called Stray Gods: the Roleplaying Musical (pls play it omg pls-nJFNDSK). We were very attached to that game for a while when it came out and we found out about it. We particularly grew attached to the character Calliope and for about maybe 2 weeks or so? I thought about using the name Calliope at times, and I painted my nails yellow to match the color of her nails in the game. I wanted to dress like her and overall you can see where this is all going lmfao

Or recently where we were very attached to Splatoon (it's our main special interest, but the way we feel, play, and interact with the game and fandom and such online differs per parts!!) and 'I' identified as an octoling and just thought of myself with the name Octo, mostly as a placeholder because I couldn't think of anything better, but I grew to like it lmfao. Ofc I am always interested in Splatoon, but recently I was just much more interested in it and particularly interested in specific aspects and such, even ended up creating another blog, a Splatoon-centered blog that also functions as a sort of vent/DID-related blog (it's @annaki-octo if anyone wants to check it out lol)

You can, again, see where this is going. Incoming long post. Because I can never make a short post lmfao

I should also mention that, in the past, I often wouldn't actually ever use a different name, and I still don't, but I've more recently been doing that for a bit now because we're starting to get used to it and be okay with it and honestly it's been beneficial. But yeah, most of my life, I usually didn't outright actually use any separate names outwardly with people, and didn't even really realize that I was choosing different names for myself in the first place because I thought that I was just creating characters. And if I DID end up outwardly using a different name, it was excused as me choosing a different name because I'm trans or making up a "fake online pseudonym" for "privacy" reasons. It has never been any different to me than creating a character. It's still not.

This is basically EXACTLY what my experience is like, day-to-day/week-to-week/month-to-month.

They never really last long, and a new "identity hyperfixation" quickly follows, while the other one dies out.

And it usually goes like this, in the image above (it might be hard to read, sorry lol, but I'm describing it anyways so dw):

--- Concepts/ideas/etc. Pop Up Into My Brain:

May be thinking about the idea of using a different name

May be really invested in a new, or "re-new'd" interest (as in: something I liked in the past and I am now interested in it again after a long period of disinterest)

May prefer certain gendered terminology (or no, or different 'gendered' terminology), for example, boyfriend/girlfriend/partner (or something/anything else)

May prefer certain pronouns over others, and/or may struggle to know what kind of pronouns I like

May be thinking about changing our icon to something different than before (on Discord, Tumblr, etc.)

May be thinking about creating a new Tumblr side blog (with or without a ""fake name attached to it, definitely not an alter :)"" spoiler alert: it's usually an alter lmfao)

May or may not think about what it would be like the have a particular physical attribute(?), not sure how to word this lol, like I'll think about how I wished my hair looked a certain way, or sometimes if it's possible, I might actually do something to change my physical appearance somehow, even if it's just wearing a specific clothing piece, but sometimes it can be like with my Calliope example where I paint my nails a particular color, or I actually dye or cut my hair, etc... The possibilities can be endless and can even be much bigger changes, such as alters making the decision to go on HRT.

--- An 'Identity' Begins to 'Solidify'

May have found a name, or a 'placeholder name' to use

May like using a specific icon (on Tumblr, on Discord, etc.) or icons, or may like using icons with a common theme/visual appearance/etc. (such as using icons that feature the color blue a lot, or using icons of a specific character, etc.)

May become much more self-aware and confident in their existence

May or may not have created a new side blog, with or without a particular name attached to that blog

--- An 'Identity' Diminishes; start from the beginning

May no longer care for, or like, the previous name(s) or placeholder(s) names that we may have chosen

May no longer care for, or like, the previous icon(s) we used, the Tumblr blog(s) we may or may not have made, etc.

For as long as I can remember, this has been my experience with DID - or at least, NOW I understand that it's been DID all along.

And the cycle continues.

Nothing really ever "comes back." It's just "new" "identity" after "new" "identity" after "new" "identity" for me, day in and day out, week-to-week, month-to-month.

Rules/About

I know that as a minor, it's really hard to find roleplays with other minors. (I was just trying to find some today and- most of the people on here are adults, so it's hard to find people in your age range especially if you're under 18.

If you are over 18, please don't interact with this blog! There are plenty of blogs to help you find roleplays if you are over 18 (I would know, I've stumbled upon a lot of them).

1. Be 13-17. I know there may be people younger than that on Tumblr, but- honestly there shouldn't be. And I always find it hard to find people to roleplay with in this age range.

2. Add your age/age range, as well as the ages you want your partner to be, so that people who are searching for roleplay partners can find you easily.

3. Add ways to contact you, whether by sharing some other social (Discord, Instagram, Snapchat, or your Tumblr). If you want to stay anonymous, just say "like this post and I'll contact you" or something like that :)

4. Specify fandoms you're willing to do and ships from the fandom (full name of ships, fandoms, and characters), or if you want to do ocs (self explanatory I think)

5. Also specify your pairings gender (like if you only want to do bxb, bxg, gxg, trans male x male, it doesn't matter, etc)

6. Add how literate you want your partner to be! So everyone is clear, roleplays that are like

*John walked up* Hey

will be "starred roleplays"

John walked up. "Hey."

will be "non-starred"

People who write one sentence or less are non-literate, those who write two sentences to two paragraphs are semi-literate, and any more are literate. (This is just to make it easier as one person's definition can be different from another's). Also add if you do first person, second person, or third person roleplays. (Also I'm really tired so this is a simple way of writing it).

7. Please don't be graphic in your requests! This includes graphic nsfw (which you technically shouldn't do but hey, not on me to judge), as well as graphic violence and gore. Please talk about that in messages with your partner.

8. Please write your triggers! And possible things that might trigger others (although you can't know everything, you can still try).

9. Absolutely no requests with incest, pedophilia, or huge age gaps (like 12 year old and 18 year old characters in a romantic roleplay).

10. If you'd like, you can also add general requests for partners (I want them to be a girl, I'd like for them to be able to speak Spanish, i prefer to rp with anime face claims, i prefer to rp with ocs) but this shouldn't be used for malicious purposes, and you have to understand that people don't have to abide by these rules (as they're just suggestions. If you want a rule to be followed, be specific and also ask your potential partner directly).

11. If you want, add favorite tropes, AUs, etc! That'll help.

12. Don't be afraid to share a bit about yourself! That'll help you find someone with a similar interest as you other than roleplays.

13. Wait at least a week before resending the same ad. I don't want to clog up the requests with the same thing over and over (You can send asks for different stuff, you just can't ask for the same thing more than once in a week). (And to add to that, please don't ask "have you posted my ask yet/how many asks are in the inbox/etc" as I do not have the time for it).

14. Homophobia, racism, misogyny, sexism, etc will not be tolerated.

15. If there is a post that you think breaks these rules, please send me a dm! There is a high chance that I just didn't realize.

16. If someone you find through this bullies, harasses, or does anything inappropriate to you, message me (with pictures or something as evidence) and they will be blocked from being able to interact with this blog.

Alright. Back on my bullshit.

I am looking for roleplay partners! Someone that can make time to write relatively frequently (my late spouse and I wrote... Almost all day every day). I have very few other writing friends, and I'm always on the hunt for more! I'm ready to make more friends and write more regularly. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am 30 and Canadian. I won't write with anyone younger than 21. Minors DNI.

I have a masters degree in literature (Arthurian Romance).

I have been writing fanfic for almost 2 decades, probably since I was like? Eleven?

3-5 paragraphs preferred, but if we really click and want to do quick back-and-forths, I'm super down for that as well. Quality over quantity.

I also draw fanart and OCs (character design) and do watercolour painting. I will do fanart of our characters. 100%. It is almost a guarantee.

I DO write smut, trauma, dark themes, as well as goofies/funnies. I think both make a good balance. Sometimes a scene just be funny. Sometimes, you just wanna write p*rn, but I love plot-heavy stuff too.

I am kink-friendly and proship. Antis DNI.

I write mainly mlm, but am happy with any/all types of romance. I do prefer queer joy, so I support and write all the queer/trans folks (am queer and trans myself).

I can write on Tumblr, and have many times, but I don't prefer it. I generally use discord or google docs, but happy to work out a place that works for both parties. I can send other writing samples if necessary! Looking forward to meeting you!

SECTION 1. Writing.

I want to write with everyone! I enjoy having a variety of threads from one-liners and icons to brief responses and long-form text. I am flexible and reciprocate the energy given to me by my writing partner. I enjoy both serious threads and crack. I only ask that you don’t godmod or dictate how my character acts/feels. Ask memes are always a good way to start a thread, but I am also open to plotting. That can be done via Tumblr IMs or Discord. Your preference, really. Response speed may vary depending on multiple factors, but please note I don’t intend to ghost anyone. I am an adult with a career and side jobs so it can be a bit hectic on my end. In terms of response speed, I may favor my mains or people I've interacted with OOC first, as well as plotted threads. These are usually easier for me since I have an idea of how to approach the writing. I will still write with anyone though!

SECTION 2. Selectivity.

Although I say I am semi-selective, I tend to follow back most blogs. That said, there are exceptions. For example, one case I might not follow back is if I observe poor dash hygiene. I don’t really want a super clogged dashboard so I tend not to follow people who have a greater ratio of OOC posts compared to IC. Other things I like are cut posts and new threads for asks. The last two are not dealbreakers, though, but I consider this good dash hygiene.

I keep my following to people I know I can interact with. I am cross-over and OC friendly.

SECTION 3. Shipping.

I enjoy exploring different dynamics with different characters/muses. Shipping can be romantic, friendly, filial, etc. That said, I am highly selective about romantic shipping and it likely won't happen here. It will be done on a case-by-case basis. Although I'm 25, there will be no smut.

 SECTION 4. OOC Conduct.

All I ask for is kindness and understanding. Always assume the best intentions from others and never yuck anyone’s yum. I work a stressful job and I am here for entertainment. Please don’t bring negativity and other exhausting energy in this space. If there is ever a time I do something that bothers you, please bring it to my attention directly. Also, bear in mind that I am not my character and would prefer to keep a clear distinction between what is IC and what is OOC.

 SECTION 5. DNI/Vague Posts.

Don't follow me if you do a lot of vague posting. If I see it enough times, I will block. We are adults. If you want to say something without the repercussions of saying it, then do it in private or keep it to yourself. If it is that serious, then go talk to that person directly. Communicate like a mature adult.

If there is someone I interact with who is actually problematic or has actually engaged in problematic behavior, dm me in private.

I'm not strict on literacy, as long as it moves the story forward, but I'm most comfortable in the 2-4 paragraph range. This is not to say that a single paragraph might not get all the plot motion done; it’s also not to say I won’t get carried away and write a freaking novel. Both have happened.

I'd prefer we end up on Discord, but if you want to hammer stuff out here then move over when we're about ready to start, that would be splendid.

And also, I do have a few prompts (and solo writing, and math nerdery) on my Tumblr, so if you want to take a look, please feel free.

Just so everyone knows: I'm not here for anything in real life. All I really need to know is, are you of legal age irl. name :      iris pronouns :        she/her preference of communication  :    discord most active muse :     right now, ferry and chauvelin. it tends to fluctuate depending on my mood and what's going on in life at the minute. ferry muse is highest right now because... picket lines. say, have you thought about joining a union? experience / how many years :     oh, god. been around on tumblr rp since at least 2011, and i roleplayed on ff.net, facebook, foopets, and skype before that. if you really wanna go back further, i started roleplaying through gmail instant messenger with my school friend back when we were twelve. i've been at this hobby for ages. platforms you use :    tumblr and discord. best experience  :    man... probably the process of creating my OC lewis anwyl and his whole story / network of characters. that got me through some rough times in the pandemic. i'm less active on his blog now because of phd pressure, but i still write him a lot on discord. my original angry little welshman before ferry came along. rp pet peeves :      uhhhh i've got a few, but one that really grinds my gears is when people assume things about your muse that aren't true and just refuse to listen when you gently tell them that they're godmodding a bit. i had it a lot with lewis, where people would just assume because he's a Ye Olde Medical Man that he must treat patients horribly, hate women, and think every ailment should be treated with cocaine. it happened at least half a dozen times. everyone brings their own understanding and biases to RP, that's only natural, but if someone tells you 'hey you're assuming things about my muse that aren't true,' listen to them. if muses are making the assumption IC, that's fine! i love conflict! but it's when that spills over into OOC that it starts to become a pet peeve for me. fluff,  angst,  or smut :     i love all three, but it depends on mood and muse. some muses just aren't very interested in sex, so i don't write smut with them. others don't let themselves get into fluff situations, so i don't write fluff with them. sometimes i'm in the mood for angst, sometimes i need some cathartic cuddling content. it's all a matter of situation. plots or memes :     plots. i really struggle with memes that have no context attached to them. usually, even if a meme is entirely out of the blue, i will end up messaging to plot just a bit before i answer it. long or short replies :      medium, 2-3 paragraphs. i do love when people get inspired and write really long replies, but i just... cannot handle that as a sustained thread. not to pull the 'my life is so hard' shit, but doing a phd involves an insane amount of reading and writing. when i want to wind down from a stressful day of research, i don't really want to face a full draft box of 8+ paragraph replies. these days, i prefer to keep it concise. are you like your muses :    there's a bit of me in a lot of my muses, especially ocs. there's a bit of me in ferry, there's a lot of me in millie. nothing about me in jacob, though, fuck that guy.

Hey unfortunately it seems a lot of the links you guys post are broken (atleast for me they are whoops.)

I wanted to ask a couple questions about the applications though!

1. If we are rejected once with one character are we allowed to apply again for a later opening and try with another or for an adopt?

2. In the applications is there a section for us to put art or a design we make?

3. (Because i didn't see this on the carrd) is there a way to find out what will be asked about on the application? I would like to start working on some ideas now for a character, however I don't want to focus too much on something that won't even be on the application.

For this opening, you can apply with an adopt, a second choice adopt, and an original character if you so choose. You are welcome to re-apply if you are not accepted this time! We only ask that you don't send asks requesting as to why you were not accepted; if you really need to know, we'd prefer a private message and we can go over it, but more often than not it's nothing really personal or anything, most of our choices are really difficult to make!

2. We require a cat photo reference, so if you can find a real life cat that resembles your drawing close enough, please link that. We have an optional separate spot you can link your art, so you can share that with us as well! If your cat is genetically impossible or there's something that would need tweaked for some reason, we'll let you know upon entry, but you won't be denied on the basis of that.

3. The main questions you should expect on our applications are:

Your name/pronouns/blog (or other social media if you're not much of a Tumblr user), your Discord tag, and anything you would like blacklisted in the server

Your expected activity level

Your cat's basic information (name, pronouns/identity, reference). Since this is a loner group, your cat's name will inevitably be different than a GladeClan warrior's name, so we'll ask for your preferred GladeClan name your cat will receive later too! That name can change later if you wish though.

Your cat's personality and history - the more detail, the better! Your background can be tweaked at a later time, but we encourage you to be as thorough as you can for the application and we can help you fix anything if needed later.

A roleplay sample with a minimum of five sentences. You can either use a pre-existing post you've made, or you can just make up something for the sample.

Do you RP anywhere else, other than tumblr?

I doo. I rp on some forums, but they're primarily more geared towards original settings and some other fandoms. I'm not as heavily invested into them.

Is there any other muse in this fandom you RP?

I've contemplated trying some muses. I do feel weird about trying out some new ones in case they don't exactly stick or aren't really requested. Not to mention who others write or canons I actually have rps with. I've thought about writing Y'shtola, Asahi, and Fandaniel before. The latter because he's my emotional support ascian despite what an ass he is. Otherwise tho? No.

Do you have ship bias?

With my oc's yeah. Some canon's also yeah. Some personalities just mesh better with others. Some I can see with anyone like G'raha, Aymeric, or Emet. Ardbert I feel like could be shipped with most characters within reason and actual build up. Venat/Hydaelyn I don't really ship with anyone and have tenatively labeled her as ace in my head. I'm open to seeing if that changes but it would have to be like a chemistry + plotting type deal.

What’s a ship you don’t want to roleplay at all with this muse? (except Bad Illegal And Gross Stuff, of course)

^ Nothing really. Most of my notps are involving characters I don't actually write as.

What do you think of your muse’s popular fandom ship?

I mean, my warriors of light and their popular ships all make sense. Ardbert I don't think has one that's popular? if he does I haven't dug into it much shrug emoji.

What do you think of your muse’s canon ship, if they have one?

They don't, luckily. Ngl I generally dislike canon ships to some extent because it's rare I actually like them. But I am that ass with unpopular shipping opinions(TM).

Are you interested into poly relationships for your muse?

POSSIBLY. I'm generally okay with poly ships if it's three characters between two people. When more people get involved it raises the possibility of drama and I'm too old and laid back. Some muses gravitate more easily to it than others - e.g. - Amara with caveats since she's an extremely jealous and possessive person when push comes to shove and would have to be the star of the show for lack of a better description. Evan is more open to being loving to everyone, without labels or settling down, which is an easy way for people to get hurt icly. Ardbert, I'm not sure on.

Do you regularly do dash commentaries?

Nah. I'm more likely to do them on my other blog since I have a tiny friend group over there. Here I just kind of vibe and go with the flow. I only talk too…two people on discord about rp related things? So I usually don't get inspired to do it and I also don't usually read other people's rp unless a word catches my interest. Or pretty graphics. I read ooc stuff, character headcanons, etc.

Do you feel similar to your muse in any way?

Sort of. Each of them has tiny bits inspired by me or my thoughts/feelings/headcanons that are either overemphasized for differences or under-emphasized. Evan has most of my preferred classes in xiv as her specializations. Her hair color is my favorite color. She tends to be very tomboy-ish like I am. Amara is a xiv-ified version of an oc i've had forever and tweak to whatever setting I want to reinvent her in. She has my interest in technology and general cynical view towards the world and other people.
