It's been a while since I talked about one of my fave rare pairings

Anyways monobaku body swap au

Bakugo and monoma switch bodies due to an quirk accident. They can tell nobody because they promised present mic that. But said teacher is at fault for all this. And he doesn't wanna risk a thing.

So they act like the other for 2 weeks. And do stupid things when near present mic so he can give them detention.

During detention they try to switch back with doing things like running into eachother. They don't complain about doing weird stuff because they desperately want their own body back

Their classmates do notice that they act a bit different but they are both still assholes who get into fights regularly so they don't suspect a thing.

After two weeks tho they get tired of just trying to act like the person who's body they currently own. So they start doing different stuff that normally neither of them do. Monoma as bakugou starts telling the bakusquad he loves them and appreciates them as friend. He calls midoriya Izuku instead of deku.

Bakugo as monoma starts complimentinv every student he passes. Talks about how the two hero classes should stick together and support eachother since they both have to endure so much trauma. He starts cooking and baking for monomas class and tells monomas friend how they should share this everyone.

Obviously everyone notices how different they act. But nobody minds. Because they kinda like the changes and everything is more peaceful.

They did thought for a while thataybe toga is behind all of this but when they noticed that two act so completely different and toga is only one person they ignored it again.

Then when they pass eachother on the hallway with their friends, wich would normally mean snarky comment from monoma, a threat from bakugo and resolute in a fight is a little bit different that time.

Instead bakugo as monoma starts complimenting himself. Of how great he is and stuff. And compliments himself back.

That is the explanation for their friends. These mist have secret not so Secret crushes on eachother. They are in love. Love changes people right? Everything made sense now.

Then during a party that was supposed to be a class 1b party but bakugo made the mistake to suggest they invite 1a to have a little bit of class bonding they play the all-time favourite party game (a very important plotpoint in every party fic). Spin the bottle.

Cause their so supportive friends see it as a chance to get these two together.

And when they finally kiss during that game *boom* they switch back.

Lucifer, as he once was

As a seraph, Lucifer was always consumed by the fire of divine love, yet his devotion ran so deep even his insides were devoured in flames. He was God's first creation, and so became His assistant in forming the primordial chaos which later evolved into his role as Prince of Angels. However, Lucifer was soon rejected from Heaven for his rebellion against God's rule - the narrative would see him twisted into a prideful and arrogant traitor, yet in truth Lucifer had only refused to accept Hell as a part of an all-good creation due to its inherent cruelty. For calling God's Goodness into question, Lucifer became the first resident of the very prison he opposed and resides there still, in one form or another.

Vesuvia Weekly: First Date Headcanons

To set the scene: Nearly a month has passed since that fateful Masquerade. Things are being rebuilt. The city is growing and improving. And there have been many, many celebrations, both large and small. But our heroes have hardly gotten any chance to rest. So the M6 finally decided to take things into their own hands...

Nadia, Portia, and Chimalus

There was never a shortage of fancy events for the three of them to share.

When you’re dating (and/or engaged to) the Countess, those tend to happen.

And the trio snuck off to quieter corners of the palace as often as they could (which was never often enough)

But with both Nadia and Chimalus in high demand for their various areas of expertise, and Portia's new Chamberlain title keeping her busy, there wasn’t time for a real, true date.

Not until Portia made it happen.

Portia spent weeks silently gathering information in her scant free time

All to plan the perfect getaway: a day out on the town in “disguises” (otherwise known as casual clothes)

Because the two loves of her life absolutely need a day out without any stuffed-up nobles breathing down their necks.

Portia knows the Vesuvian markets better than almost anyone, so once she knows what she’s looking for, she easily finds the best possible places to stop.

After visits to museums, watching a street performance, and going on an amazing shopping spree, the trio ended the day at a bookshop in the Heart District.

(Because out of all the things the three of them have in common, the greatest is their love of reading)

And right next to the book shop was an adorable little tea shop.

They spent far too long in there, chatting about the books they just purchased and draining an entire teapot between the three of them.

Of course, they could always just have tea in the palace. But the atmosphere was so cozy, and even at the shop’s busiest, the chatter is almost soothing.

Plus this shop had such cute teacups, and so many teas that Nadia has never heard of, and delicious little pastries and tea cakes… After that night, the shop become one of the trio’s favorite places to visit.

They always enjoy their time there.

(And all the people working at the tea shop very politely pretend that they don’t recognize the Countess herself under her scarf.)

Asra and Meleia

Asra was eager to plan the whole event.

He wanted the date to be both relaxing and full of all the things that Meleia adored. It was what she deserved after they defeated the Devil together and finally had room to breathe.

So he made her favorite meal, and did his best to recreate the moment of their first kiss: the beginning of the Masquerade, right after dealing with the Lazaret.

The two of them were out on the water, sharing a beautiful moment under the fireworks.

Of course, for this date, they were the only ones who took a boat out that night. And instead of fireworks, Asra used his magic to create a dazzling display of lights in the sky.

Some of the images were so tightly timed together that it looked like animation. Particularly animation of two very familiar-looking figures dancing among the stars.

Inspired, Meleia invited him to dance the moment they got to the shore.

The two of them never needed any music to dance together.

Julian and Damian

According to Damian, the two of them have gone on a lot of dates.

Grabbing coffee right before work? A date.

Unwinding in the Rowdy Raven after an especially long day? A date.

Accidentally wandering into one of the town’s many celebrations and playing music together? A date!

They’ve had so many of these moments that Damian declared dates that now Julian is determined to take him on an actual date.

He’s even more determined to do it right.

And to fill it with everything Damian enjoys.

So he makes a plan.

Step one: clean up the little garden that he and Damian used as a hiding spot when Julian was still on the run from the guards and use it as a picnic spot.

Step two, serenade him with an original song.

Step three, take him to the most romantic community theater show possible.

Step four, celebrate their successful date with fancy drinks.

Of course, none of it quite goes according to plan.

The garden is somehow messier than it was before, the original song is half-finished, and the show was a bit more melodramatic than advertised.

At least the drinks were good.

But honestly, as far as Damian was concerned, all the little mishaps just made the whole thing more endearing.

(And Julian's unfinished song granted the perfect opportunity for him to get out his guitar when they got home and help Julian finish writing it)

when it comes to people who acknowledge and love all sides of jiang xuening, shen zhiyi cannot be forgotten.

yes, dianxia does have a bit of a lovesick filter on when it comes to her beloved ningning, but she also knows who jiang xuening is as a person. she isn’t so blind as to casually miss her fierce temper, ignore her schemes and manipulation, and disregard her poor choices— you can see it in shen zhiyi’s expressions and tone, the concerns she voices, and particularly through her perspective in the novel— but these things could never make her love jiang xuening any less.

shen zhiyi isn’t oblivious. she knows that jiang xuening uses her at times to get what she wants, but what’s important is that she doesn’t care. she never has and she never will, because everything she does is her choice. she only wants jiang xuening to know that she doesn’t have to do anything at all to get her support, because she will always be there by her side, without any conditions attached.

there is no doubt that jiang xuening is the person she trusts most in the world. even if jiang xuening makes a decision she doesn’t particularly agree with, she will still never raise any complaint to her. shen zhiyi trusts that jiang xuening’s judgment and choices are right for herself, even if they’re not right to her, and it’s as simple as that. if there are any consequences, she will be there to resolve them. jiang xuening couldn’t lose her if she tried.

shen zhiyi and xie wei are the only two characters in kunning who see past all of jiang xuening’s sides, good and bad, and still recognize her true heart. the way they love her is different but also the same; if shen zhiyi is her shield, then xie wei is her sword.

and jiang xuening chooses them both.

It’s a very fun comic! The marriage seeker mystery can finally be put to rest 😌 I don’t really think it changes much, that it overrides anything we knew or that I theorized, esp since we already knew about the party-wide romance ban, but the meme potential (and fic potential) IS so strong now that we know Laios was the one most targeted and distrusted of all… And trust was the biggest issue, romance brings nothing but trouble in their minds but the trouble they experienced with the marriage seeker was because she was disingenuous and manipulative and Laios was oblivious, and as time went on the party realized that Marcille was trustworthy and they stopped worrying about that particular scenario happening. It can def bring a new meaning to the "This is my succubus?!! No one can see it no one can know AAAAA" line though lmfaoo. It’s so funny and honestly such a win for aroace Laios

I honestly think the canon age gap would make the Hunger Games AU conceptually funnier. Like, Obi-Wan Infinite Sadness Kenobi is just ptsd-ing his way through life and in comes love in the form of 18 year old Anakin Violence Is Always An Option :) Skywalker, whose only fear is what to get Obi-Wan for his birthday (apparently you can't just loot the other tributes' corpses for appropriate jewelry? seems wasteful).

Yeah 100% ! I think when I wrote the ficlet a year and a while ago, I just wanted more same age obikin because I hadn’t (and I guess still haven’t experimented with that dynamic much) but I think I like the idea of a 16 years older obi-wan who just wants to be left alone pestered by a child/teenager who is fascinated by him (and brings him nice things from the sea when he hasn’t see him around town for a few days)

and then anakin’s mom dies maybe when anakin is just 17 or almost 18 and he hyper fixates on the only person who knows death just as well, knows the ache of it and the grief

and he wears obi-wan down, even though there’s a 1000 reasons obi-wan shouldn’t kiss anakin, newly 18 (maybe still 17), but he’s so lonely and anakin is so persistent and nice and he knows what he wants and he knows he wants obi-wan even though he’s seen his games and maybe obi-wan should be stronger, but to be wanted by someone so furiously….despite what he’s done…..

I remember seeing a (possibly canon, idk man) theory that states that the reason that alchemy tables require mora is because alchemy is basically the transition of matter to other matter, with a little energy from the geo energy lingering on the mora to make the transmutation a lil explainable scientifically

This got me thinking

What if the difference between alchemy and Khemia is that alchemy is the transition from matter to matter (with a little energy to help things along), while Khemia is the transition from energy to matter (with a little matter to help things along)

Maybe the matter used in Khemia (in terms of creating carbon-based things, at least) is chalk, as purified earth, the basis of all life

So if you try and make a living being with Khemia and use the earth as your matter is kinda just… dumps a pile of minerals on the ground near this suspicious dent which wasn’t there a second ago

In albedo’s idle of reanimating that branch, I’d imagine that some of the energy would come of whatever life is still left in the plant

Consider: you can use the energy of your soul to power Khemia. I’d imagine that this would be a limited resource, considering people can only really regenerate kidneys. You might get sick for a bit (or a long bit) so most people only do this in very small quantities.

Now, as far as gold is concerned i believe that she

Was illegitimate

Was from a rich family with shitty parents

Was known as an alchemist prodigy

Attempted to kill her father (~15 years?)

Ran away from police /army for several momths

Was eventually caught, but the government didn’t want to loose such a potentially powerful resource via execution/prison for life

(Was disowned by her parents and adopted by a group (the rhinemaidens) (who she changed her lastnane to reflect)

Signed a deal to work for the government as much ad they needed her in exchange for not going to prison

And she ended up using a *lot* of khemia, to the point where she was facing nerve damage and eventual death on the horizon. A bad thing, obviously

So she sought out some blessing from the abyss that would sustain her and stop from dying from exhaustion, which worked, in exchange for her creating(?) things on behalf of the abyss on occasion

She was generally not credited for any discoveries she made/the actual food created while she worked, as the government wanted to hide the fact they subverted the law process.

This lasted until the mounting if the aggression by the abyss, causing several alchemists to die out on the field, and forcing them to place gold on a higher level of authority due to her level of experience (id say she’s about 28 now)

So she started getting more recognition, though never achieving chief alchemist, until khaenriah eventually fell. Most alchemists died during the cataclysm, leaving her as the head alchemist once there was only a few hundred khaenriahns who weren’t soon to be hilichurls.

As for teyvat’s side of the cataclysm, i believe much of it was due to the fact that all khaenriahn defenses had fell and they couldn’t be a atopgate to abyssal forces descending on teyvat. Additonally, many restraints for domesticated animals likely fell to the wayside and they became feral in a matter of years.

#I like to imagine that this is just completely disproved by canon #like ‘uhm actually there was this one collectible book in a room that requires three hours of pure dialogue to get too #and it disproves the main point of your theory’#there’s way to much stuff to read through to be up to date on lore #I’ve reached the point where listening to 20 minute lore videos loses my attention tho it’s horrible #;-;#why am I phrasing this as if there are people who are going to try and do Khemia #think ive said this before but i think turning into a hilichurl is caused by eleazar and people just die before it advances too fsr #i also feel like khaenriahns have a big culture of shame #to the point where if they see signs of eleazar they may self mutilate to remove them #this would also explain why pierro wears an eye oatch and why dain covers so much of his skin #though for dain’ case i think its more abyssal corruption veining his skin and less eleazar #this has been in my drafts for months #but #here you go #might talk about khaenriahs susceptibility to shame more someday #maybe.#its kinda unfounded anyway i think

eddie added buck to his will so that if eddie dies his son christopher goes to buck instead of his biological family. there are so many scenes in which eddie and buck go to each other for comfort and hang out raising christopher together. they went on a poker date last season after buck gained some crazy math skills after getting struck by lighting. buck tried to dig eddie out of a collapsed well with his bare hands. he dragged eddie out of an open street with an active shooter after eddie got shot. buck went to eddie's house and fell asleep on his couch after getting overwhelmed by everyone else in his life hovering after he got struck by lightning. these are just a few of the scenes where they act completely different with each other than they do with the rest of their friends and family. and yet no, they have never been together in the show.
