I Know The Way There [John Lennon] - Part 2

One of the great parts of living in such a big, weird, city is that you don't look that crazy taking a bus in full glam-rock clothes at 9 am. You do still get weird looks from old ladies, but it's not too bad.
I do realize that I could just jump to the places I need to go to, but there are a few problems with it.
1) It's not exactly the most conspicuous thing to just pop out of nowhere in the middle of a crowded city 2) It does quite a number on the body to do multiple times in a row And finally...
3) You don't get the lovely experience of little kids asking to touch your jacket spikes.
So I tend to just take the bus when I need to go somewhere. Driving in Seattle is a nightmare and I don't even have a license. You'd think with the ability to time travel I could find the time to go get my license, but honestly, the real problem isn't time. It's the lack of ability to pass a driver's test. My dad always gets on my ass about it.
Henry Tyler is a great man and an even better father. He and my mother always tried to give me the best in life. Even if they didn't mean to have me, they cherished me with every fiber of their being. See, my parents never tried to have kids; when my mother was younger she had been told she could probably never have kids due to an illness she had. My parents were fairly old when they had me and had already settled down into a life without kids. They owned a cafe, had a cute little apartment, and they thought their dogs were enough; having never considered adopting. But, like many things in life, something unexpected happened and my mother had me. While both my parents were excited, my dad was ecstatic; something he'd never thought he'd feel about a child.
Even more unexpected was that I'd have the abilities I do. They were extremely freak at first; when I started teleporting as a toddler. In the beginning, they thought I was just moving around the house really fast until they found me in very strange places. Like inside the dryer, or on top of the bookcases. My mother believed it to be a gift from the universe, that I was a gift from the universe. She relished every second she had with me.
When I get to me stop, I swing myself out of my seat and off the bus, making quick pace down the street.
The Ballard neighborhood is much prettier than Seattle proper. I mean, nothing against downtown, but I hate towering buildings and the smell of piss everywhere. Also, this is where I grew up. The area is full of breweries and therefore, hipsters. It's a quaint area and looking out over the water from the locks is a real sight to behold.
As I turn around the corner my dad's cafe comes into view. The building is brick and very old as is most of the Ballard area. There are two metal tables out front on either side of the door with beautiful white and yellow striped umbrellas. At one table sits a couple enjoying an early morning cup of coffee before heading off to start their days. On the glass in the front of the cafe is a cute drawing of a coffee mug with the words, "Terrains De Repos" printed in cursive.
I push open the door and am greeted with the smell of freshly ground coffee and baked goods. Slow music plays softly in the background.
"Dad!" I call out, "I'm here to help set up for tonight."
The morning sun shines through the glass onto the checkered floor tiles. In the front windows of the shop, on either side, are counters with four bar stools. On the right wall is an old sofa with colorful pillows set out. Next to it is a couple of comfy armchairs. The coffee table in front is covered in old copies of Rolling Stone. Across from this sitting area is another, this one with several bean bag chairs on top of a bright orange rug from the 70s. Against the brick wall is a record player with several wood cartons of vinyl under it.
Moving further back into the cafe there is an elevated platform on the left wall. On it, there is a small music setup, with two guitars, one electric, and the other acoustic; as well as a couple of amps and a microphone. There are a few tables against the wall opposite the makeshift stage. The walls are covered in old photos and posters. Some from my parents' escapades and some from my own.
Then, there's the counter. It stretches across the back wall ending just before a hallway. Half of it has a pastry case full of wonderful goodies. There sits a vintage cash register on one end. Next to the register is a tip jar labeled "LSD Fund" and a bell. Behind the counter are all of the coffee machines and other accouterments of the trade. On the Back wall is a photo of my mom smiling brightly.
Just as I reach to ring the bell on the counter, my dad comes out from behind the bead curtain leading to the kitchen.
"Hey there kiddo," He says with a smile, "Didn't think you'd be here so early."
"Well, I got in earlier than I thought I would," I hop onto the counter.
"You sure don't look like it. You doing okay?" He asks with that fatherly concern of his.
"I'm fine. Just a little hungover is all." I say with a sigh.
"The 80s will do that to a person," He starts pouring a cup of tea for me. "but to me, this seems like more than a hangover. I can see it in your eyes pumpkin."
"I'm just having a hard time finding inspiration for my music." He hands me my cup and I look into the brown liquid.
"You've never had that problem before." He looks concerned, "Has something changed?"
"It's just- It's that I've been all sorts of wonderful places. I keep going to all these places hoping that I'll find something that drives me to make real music. I've met so many people, but no one has made me really feel something authentic." I look up from my cup of tea, "I want to have something like you did with mom. I've realized I'm nowhere near that. And for some reason, I can't see it in the future."
"Maybe your love isn't waiting for you in your future, maybe your love is somewhere unexpected." His eyes are soft when I meet them.
"I just don't know how that would work. If it's someone in the past, wouldn't they already be here?" I ask
"How would I know, you're the time wizard." He shrugs at me. Walking over to put a recond on. "This one goes out to a one Miss Tyler."
I hop off the counter and skip over to him as the iconic beginning song of Rubber Soul starts to play. And as those first notes play I start to dance, and my dad sings the opening to me.
"Asked a girl what she wanted to be She said, 'baby, can't you see I want to be famous, a star on the screen But you can do something in-between'"
When the chorus builds I grab the microphone of the stage and sing back to him.
"Baby, you can drive my car Yes, I'm gonna be a star Baby, you can drive my car And maybe I'll love you"

Erik gave his final notes and dismissed the class. As the students cleared the classroom I glanced over my shoulder and caught his eyes on me. He looked away quickly. I turned and walked to my next class knowing I left him thinking about me. I attended the remainder of my classes and ended my school day with a late dinner. Simone went back to the apartment to get some work done but I headed back to building C.
I made my way to Eriks classroom. I stopped my hand from opening the door when I heard more than one voice inside. I peeped through the window of the door and Ms. Cooper. I stepped to the side so as not to be seen. I watched them talk about  who knows what for a couple of minutes. I could tell that she was flirting hard by the way she was batting her eyelashes and touching his thigh. The smile on his face didn't seem to mind, hell he looked like he was enjoying it. I couldn’t help the anger that started to bowl within me. I couldn’t hide my territorial nature. After about ten more minutes they stood up and walked toward the door. I thought about leaving but I wanted him to see me, wanted him to know that I had seen everything.
When he opened the door to allow her to walk out the expression on his face when he saw me was priceless. She gave me one of those fake teacher smiles. Her teeth were overly white, I could tell she’s had some work done. Her makeup was heavy and I’m not talking full glam beat heavy. I’m talking clay face I’ve never seen a beauty blender in my life heavy.
“Hello Ms.Cooper. You look very nice today. I love your makeup.” I said flashing her the same fake smile back.
“Oh thank you so much. I’m trying out a new foundation.”
It shows girl trust me. I thought to myself. As she turned back to Erik.
“It was nice talking to you Erik…”
Her eyes darted over to me as she had forgotten that I was there.
 “I mean professor stevens.”
She made sure to touch his arm one more time before turning and walking away. The extra sway in her hips very apparent. Erik was extra careful not to look. I took a mental note of that. I made sure the hallway was clear before walking past him into the classroom. If he thought he was free to flirt and be a hoe, he made a sad mistake. He was mine and I was going to make sure he knew it.
“Hi Niya.”
I looked at him tilting my head to the side, remaining silent.
“Hey Erik how are you? That's usually how this conversation goes?”
Without a word, I made my way over to his desk bending over to expose my bright red panties underneath my dress. Slowly I pulled them over my round ass and down my legs. I hung them off of the table light he had and sat in his chair spreading my legs wide. He jolted to the door covering the window with his body.
“Have you lost your damn mind? Anyone could walk past and see you like that...exposed in my classroom. I could lose my job!”
He quickly lowered his tone not wanted any teachers or students to hear from the hallway. I giggled at the amount of panic he was displaying. I enjoyed playing with Erik, making him squirm. I knew he was used to always being the dominant one with a girl but not with me. I licked my fingers as he watched me closely.
“What are you doing?” He asked frantic.
I slid my hand down my body and rubbed my clit, moaning from the feeling.
“Are you crazy? Be quiet now!”
I raised an eyebrow at him. Who the fuck does he think he’s talking to? The bass in his voice only enraged me more. I rubbed myself faster moaning even louder than before.
“Erik yes like that!” I groaned
He almost gave himself whiplash trying to check the hallway to ensure no one heard me. I cackled. Seeing him freak out was hilarious.
“Niya stop please!” He begged.
I rolled my eyes as I stood up adjusting my clothes. Once I felt that I looked presentable I made my way over to the door he was still standing in front of. I smirked as I pushed him out of the way. Before I walked out the door I handed him a neatly folded piece of paper that read:
Meet me at the Ramada Hotel at 8.
Bring the panties with you.
-
I left a key for Erik at the front desk. When I heard the hotel room door unlock I couldn’t hold back my excitement. I waited for him to make his way to the bedroom. When he finally did he paused. I can only assume he was in awe of my black lacy lingerie that left little to the imagination.
“Do you like what you see?
“Niya we need to talk about what you did tod-“
“Shhhhhhhhhhhhh….that’s not what I asked you. I said do...you...like...what...you...see?”
He let out a heavy sigh.
“Yes I do.”
“Good. Now get on your knees and crawl to me.”
He did as he was told with little resistance. When he was close enough, I placed my perfectly pedicured toes on his chest.
“You Erik sometimes I feel like your taking me for a joke and I don't like it. So now I have to teach you a lesson.”
He looked at me with a confused look on his face. Erik had a way of making me feel things I didn't usually feel like butterflies and shit and I didn’t like it one bit. I can honestly say that when I first laid eyes on him I thought I would have a way harder time getting him to let me be dominant but it was surprisingly easy. I thought about what kind of women he must’ve been with in the past and how he’d been with them and how it differed from how he acts with me. Oh hell no. Girl don’t even go there. Don’t invest to many emotions into him.
I shook my head to get out of my thoughts and reached back to grab my tazapper from the line of toys I had laid out on the bed, caressing it in my hands. I knew he had no idea what it was.
“Take your clothes off.” I said taking my foot from his chest.
I watched him strip and the way his skin glistened in the dim lighting made me want to do nasty unspeakable things to him. When he was completely naked. I walked circles around him admiring his body. I got to his back and without warning I zapped him on his lower back. He jumped in shock and I couldn’t hold back the belly laugh that came out of me. I took note of the fact that he remained silent even after I zapped him all over his body, never asking why I was doing this or what he did wrong. That let me know that not only did he know what he did wrong but he also knew not to question me further. So he is learning.
“I’ve been very lenient with you Erik but today...today was the last straw. Now tell me, what did you do to upset me?
ZAP!
“I was flirting with Linda.”
ZAP!
“WHO?”
“I mean Ms.Cooper!”
“Now tell me. Why would you do that knowing you belong to me? Huh?     I know it's not because her looks because she could never look as good as me on her best day pooh.”
He looked down at me with a stern look on his face for a second I thought he might turn the tables and snatch me up throw me on the bed and take me.
“I did it to get back at you for what you did to me. I planned to get close to her maybe date her for a bit to get under your skin but you caught me and if im being fully honest you probably wouldn’t care anyway, it's clear you don’t feel the same way about me that I feel about you.”
“How do you feel about me?” I asked genuinely wanting to know.
He inhaled deeply gathering his thoughts together before he gave his answer.
“I’ve never felt this way about any girl before. You have this control over me and I can’t explain it, you just do something to me.”
His words hit hard. I had no idea he felt this way about me. It kind of made me want to be nice to him. Almost. I still had to teach him a lesson for trying to get back at me and I intended to do just that.

Below-freezing temperatures and bulky outerwear can make winter a challenging time, sartorially speaking, but come January, the gloves are off—both literally and figuratively—when Hollywood’s jet-set touches down in sunny Los Angeles for award season. Thanks to a blockbuster year in film, music, and television, the 2019 red carpets are an opportunity to make a major statement. Here, we’ve shown an early spotlight on 23 actors and musicians guaranteed to land spots on the 2019 awards season’s best-dressed lists. Let’s start with a red carpet renaissance woman: Lady Gaga is going to have an epic award season. We can’t wait to see what she wears to the Golden Globes, the Oscars, and the Grammys when she wins big for basically everything A Star Is Born is nominated for; her style evolution has been a true Hollywood glow-up! A close second and perennial team Who What Wear fave, Emma Stone is bound to inspire your next black-tie event look when she hits the red carpets in 2019. Think she’ll take any notes from her character, Abigail Masham, in The Favorite and go full baroque, or keep it completely contemporary with the latest from Louis Vuitton? Speaking of The Favourite ,  Joe Alwyn , aka Baron Masham, aka the first earl of Leicester in Mary Queen of Scots , is guaranteed to have a memorable awards season (especially if Taylor Swift is on his arm). The 27-year-old British actor had a banner year with four movies premiering in 2018, and undoubtedly cribbed a few style notes from several of Hollywood’s leading ladies—we have a feeling his star status is about to skyrocket. Of course, award season wouldn’t be a must-watch moment if not for a little healthy competition. Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie , two of 2018’s best dressed and co-stars/rivals in Mary Queen of Scots , are absolutely going to slay—sartorially speaking. Spoiler alert: There’s a clear winner in the film (and, um, history), but we’d be absolutely thrilled if the top red carpet ranking featured a tie between these two sensational style stars. While we’re revisiting history, let us remember the ground-breaking, earth-shaking, and red carpet–rousing movie of the year, Black Panther . Boasting an all-star lineup and memorable world premiere in which the cast paid homage to African royalty, we hope this stylish crew—especially Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Leticia Wright, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, and Angela Bassett —continues its winning streak throughout award season. Wakanda forever! Crazy Rich Asians , one of the most over-the-top and enjoyable fashion films of the year, was a feast for the eyes both on screen and at the red carpet premiere. Constance Wu , the movie’s leading lady, worked with celeb stylist and Who What Wear contributor  Micaela Erlanger  for the press tour last summer, creating gorgeous looks for a range of appearances. We love how they play with fashion together and can’t wait to see which designer is selected for the Globes in January. Fashion’s latest It boy, Timothée Chalamet , had an incredible 2017 with Oscar-nominated films Lady Bird and Call Me by Your Name , and this year, he added Golden Globe nominee to his list of accolades. Not only does the Beautiful Boy star embrace bold colors and prints, but he’s also reportedly self-styled. We’re impressed! If you haven’t already heard of Kiki Layne , don’t worry—you will soon. Her breakout film, If Beale Street Could Talk , an adaptation of James Baldwin’s 1974 novel by Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins, has already been nominated for several Golden Globes ahead of its premiere. Kiki has a major year ahead of her with at least two other projects in the can, and we’re excited for her red carpet debut with Regina King, her fellow Beale Street star and Golden Globe nominee. Rounding out our list of film favorites is a newcomer, Elsie Fisher . At just 15, she has captured hearts as the cringe-worthy (in the best way!) ingenue of Bo Burnham’s directorial debut, Eighth Grade , which premiered over the summer. Elsie has already made an impression at smaller red carpet events, and she recently spoke to Vanity Fair about her affinity for suits, remarking, “I feel like suits are very me… I look poppin’ in ’em!” We couldn’t agree more. As far as red carpet style goes, we find musicians tend to be a bit more daring than actors, which is why we’re especially excited for the 2019 Grammys. One woman who never ceases to surprise us with her style chops is Cardi B, who is up for album of the year for Invasion of Privacy . Whether Cardi goes full-on glam, breaks a piece out of Versace’s archives, or debuts her upcoming collab with Fashion Nova, we know she’ll dress to impress—red bottoms, guaranteed. It’s no surprise that with the rise of the rosé wave in pop music came the return of cowboy boots . At the center of this ethereal yet empowering moment is singer Kacey Musgraves . The “Velvet Elvis” singer has already racked up several Country Music Awards but was recently nominated for album of the year for Golden Hour , transcending the confines of her genre, and presenting an opportunity to show off her unique mix of vintage-meets–high-fashion style at next year’s Grammys. We’ve had our eyes on Dua Lipa ever since she explained “New Rules” to us in 2017, and we were thrilled by her two Grammy nominations this year. Up for best new artist and best dance recording, this edgy British singer and street style star will undoubtedly make a major red carpet splash throughout 2019. Is there anything Tessa Thompson can’t do? In addition to her appearance in Janelle Monae’s much-buzzed-about “Pynk” music video, the Creed and Westworld star is a style chameleon who’s bound to thrive during award season—even if she’s just there to support her friends and castmates, the similarly suave Michael B. Jordan and Thandie Newton. Let’s talk about Lili Reinhart for a minute: Not only has she captured hearts as Betty (and Dark Betty!) on Riverdale for the past three seasons, but she’s also become a media darling, sharing insights into acting , acne , and of course, all things Archie. Notably, we love her brand-new campaign photos for the Mighty Company x Ilaria Urbanati celestial-inspired charity collection—hey, if anyone can pull of stars and stripes on a red carpet, it’s Lili. See you at the Emmys? If you haven’t already caught up on Atlanta , consider this an official mandate. You’ll probably recognize Zazie Beetz as Vanessa Keefer, Donald Glover’s character’s ex-girlfriend. Or maybe you remember her from Deadpool 2 as Domino, a mutant whose superpower is luck. Either way, Zazzie is definitely one to watch this red carpet season, especially since she’s being styled by Jason Bolden, whose other clients include Yara Shahidi and Sasha Lane. Be sure to look for her at this year’s Golden Globes supporting Donald, and hopefully again on the Emmys red carpet next fall. Finally, we’ve got the one and only  Busy Philipps. Unless you’ve completely opted out of pop culture and social media this year, Philipps has been on your mind—or more accurately, on your phone! A forever fave from early aughts teen dramas Dawson’s Creek and Freaks and Geeks , Philipps has BLOWN UP in 2018 thanks to her hilarious commentary, candor, and colorful style which is broadcast via her Instagram, recently released memoir, This Will Only Hurt a Little , and new E! show, Busy Tonight . Working with stylist Karla Welch (who also counts Tracee Ellis Ross and Sarah Paulson as clients), you know Busy’s bound to bust a move, whether on the red carpet, in her nightgown, or at a tiny trampoline class. Think I missed any potential red carpet style stars of 2019? Hit me up on Twitter or Instagram at @Drewblahblah and we’ll put them on Who What Wear’s radar before the New Year. Up Next:  From the Oscars to the Golden Globes, Cannes to the British Fashion Awards here’s where you’ll find the most glorious red carpet looks .

Gold Frame Earrings from Newlook
Good Afternoon everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful night full of fun, joy and surrounded by family and friends to ring in the new year! I myself was laid up in bed with the flu for most of it so mine could have been that little bit better but otherwise I was just thankful to actually be out of bed and able to eat on actual new years night so it could have also have been worse but Im on the mend now! Todays post is the first post of 2019 and one I haven’t done in a while which is on one of my own looks that I had for a night out in December and if I’m being really honest that night was the first in a long time that I actually 100% happy with how I looked on a night out and felt really confident in myself which I think is a feeling I will be bringing with me in 2019!
My 2018 ended with a good few memories as I had a pretty sociable December . Including myself and Éimear going to the INEC in Killarney to go see Hozier and Gavin James who were unreal! For anyone who doesn’t know who Hozier is he’s an Irish singer/songwriter from Wicklow and I would definitely recommend going to see him because he is just amazing live! I always love going to see singers live and have them sound the exact same as they do in audio instead of them sounding a bit different because the voices are enhanced on the audio to sound better. Definitely check out his music because he is genuinely just so good! Gavin James is also an Irish singer from Galway who is also really good to go and see!
Myself and Éimear also went on our glam girls night out where we also met up with Himself and a couple of his work buddies and it was this night that I am honestly so happy with my look.

The look its self was pretty simple and was my classic all black colour scheme (another thing I’m going to start changing in 2019) and was just perfect. I love when you just throw something on last minute and it ends up being you’re favourite look of all time. The t-shirt is pretty basic and you can find slogan t-shirts in virtually any high street store at the moment as they are really trendy still and it was also long enough on me that I kind of created another layer under the skirt which is always handy just incase like me you have a little fear of things being a bit transparent. The skirt is actually another one that I had at home but I have included a link to a similar one here for you but its just a basic black tube skirt as I like my skirts to be a bit higher around the waist as I just feel they suit me better. You can’t see the boots in this photo but I do have a picture of them up on my Instagram and they are literally the exact type I was searching for for ages! I have another suede high stiletto pair that I have had for years and they are starting to get on a bit now and have seen a fair share of nights out so it was time to start getting their replacement ready and these are amazing. They literally tick every box height (which is scary high to look at but I love the height without a platform sole) , style, colour, comfort and of course are pointed toe. The earrings are again really trendy at the minute and are relatively easy to find but it does depend on the size you like. Usually these square frames are on the larger side but these ones are actually a mini version available from Newlook as well as the bigger size too. They are lightweight as well which is always a bonus as heavy earrings are a curse on your ears after a while. I just finished this look with a plain black leather jacket (more black I know) and thats it. A simple look for nights out without the fuss.
  2018 : A Year In Pictures
As we are now in the new year 2019 I have decided to share some of my photos month by month from last year 2018 on some of my highlights from the year gone by. I definitely had a year filled with ups and downs, changes and trips but these photos are a reflection of all the good times from last year and if you can I would make an album on your phone or in a scrap book that you can look back on in years to come so that you can remind yourself when you’re feeling a bit low or in a sticky situation that life hasn’t been all bad and that you have had some great times in your life even if it is something as simple as just watching movies with friends. Heres a breakdown of my 2018!
February – Éimear and I travelled up to Dublin to go see Dermot Kennedy in the Olympia Theatre and I will honestly never forget it. It was the best concert I have ever been to because his music is so emotional, touching, beautiful and mesmerising. We are going to see him this year as well which I cannot wait to do again!
April – Himself and I went on our kind of annual holiday to Portugal to Albufiera where we have been before but this time we did do a few new things one of which I have definitely never done before and that was a Fish Pedicure. If you don’t know what that is its basically these tiny little fish that eat away at dead skin cells so you soak your feet in the water with them and they basically just clean your dead skin cells away. Don’t worry they are tiny fish so you don’t actually feel anything except maybe a slight tickle which is more of a funny sensation than scary (unless your Kim Kardashian West in that clip where she completely freaks out at the tickle feeling of a fish pedicure).
June – Himself and I went over to England for just under two weeks to mind my aunties house for her and as he had never been to London before I was excited to show him all the touristy things like Buckingham Palace, The London Eye and the Natural History Museum. We did one thing I had never done before (that I can recall anyway as I may have gone as a very small child) and that was go to the London Aquarium. It was really cool in there and they do have really interesting things to see so I would recommend going there if you are in London! On our way to the Natural History Museum we did see a few lamborghinis being driven around for demonstrations too which he was only delighted to see.
September – In September Himself and I attended a wedding in Tralee which was a civil ceremony as they didn’t want a church wedding and it was honestly one of the nicest wedding I have been to. As much as I respect peoples religious choices of a church wedding it was just really nice to not have the same prayers and routines and to see them have their children involved, have their own readings and quotes spoken and it was just a really nice romantic wedding. I did however end up spending two days getting broken glass out of my hands from an unfortunate table breakage but we won’t talk too much about that!
December – The whole month of December was one of my highlights to be honest. I started with our annual staff party which was really fun as we went for dinner and then just made a night out of it. Next up was my birthday which I didn’t actually do anything for it but Himself did have roses delivered to me at work for it which was a nice surprise even though I had a feeling he was going to do that as he was being a bit sneaky in town the day before and he did the same for my 21st birthday a couple years ago but it was still a lovely surprise! After that came came the Hozier show which was amazing as he just has such a great voice and is amazing to see live. Then literally two days after that myself and Éimear went out for our glam girls night and met up with himself and couple of his friends as they were on a staff night out too. Then obviously there was Christmas which was our usual family tradition of dinner with my grandparents, lots of food and a movie. Then a few days after Christmas myself and Éimear headed out to the INEC again to go see Gavin James perform and literally about two days after this I ended up in bed ill for nearly two days and was only just up an about on new years eve and able to eat so I literally have not one photo from the night but I did discover my 88 year old granddad is a fan of George Ezra’s Shotgun and my nan is in love with Michael Bublé

youtuber!seokmin
Tumblr media
enjoy! ♡
he does cooking
yup, you are not reading it wrong but he does cooking (just like raphael gomes mixed with shane dawson. check them out)
seokmin lives with 2 of his friends, which actually the two reasons that keep his life clean
without mingyu and minghao, seokmin’s roommates, seokmin probably will live in a chaotic place
he makes ‘cooking with seokmin’ and meokbang. lots of people enjoy his meokbang because watching him eat is the most fun and joyful thing to do
or
“I Tried To Make Kraby Patty” and “Korean Fried Chicken Recipes for Someone Who Can’t Cook”
surprisingly his foods always come out delicious everytime he knocked mingyu/minghao’s room to taste the foods despite the fact that he looks like someone who’s rotting in college
and also if we don’t talk about the mess he left behind
his most viral video is “I Can Peel 100 Tangerines in 9 Minutes”
he gained almost like hundred thousands subs from that videos and started to get the recognition he deserves
because when talking about his dedication for his videos, it’s unbelievable
seokmin learned english from school but it’s not the greatest so that he can speaking confidently infront of the camera
so seokmin literally puts the hard subs himself, edits, and washed the dishes that are absurd
but he enjoys what he is doing so he just does it happily
his reactions while tasting new foods are priceless
his expression and most importantly, his singing. it’s beautiful
even his subscribers wonder why he doesn’t do singing for a living
which actually resulting him to start doing singing cover once in awhile
he rarely does it but when he does it, it get loved by most of the viewers
since seokmin loves singing it’s never been a problem
seokmin has a lot of friends despite him being all shy at first
he entered a youtube community in korea when he just started. because seokmin and mingyu have known each other for some time
and mingyu knew this group of 11 guys slash youtubers, which later be introduced to seokmin
until finally they moved to an apartment building and devided into their line. and that’s how seokmin and mingyu know minghao
and also that’s how seokmin learned how nice it is to have a lot of friends
you are a typical beauty guru in youtube and you are known for your funny yet mother-like personality and of course your honest reviews
being a youtuber, you just binge watch youtube a lot
like, you’ve been through those weird side of youtube
until you stumble upon seokmin’s viral video
“100 tangerines?? where the hell he got all of that and who ate those?”
so like you went on twitter
“GUYS I WATCHED A YOUTUBER NAMED LEE SEOKMIN HE PEELED TANGERINES AND DOES MEOKBANG I THINK I’M A FAN NOW YO HOOK ME UP.”
okay so that tweet receives various reactions that is unexpected. there are people who say they love seokmin too, there are also people who say that they shipped you two because the personality matched?
it’s not always good though, there are also his fans that say ‘don’t u dare’
but the support is what you see and you see alot of people actually mentioning his twitter handle so you followed him
due to the time difference, seokmin is late to the twitter party. it is usual to see his mention tab full of his fans saying things which he absolutely loves but it’s unusual to see it filled with other youtuber, beauty guru on top of it
seokmin is just scared that he was judged by his messy appearance and get attacked but oh boi he is wrong
seokmin immediately responds to the hyping and like “ok guys chill i’m gonna talk to that person and say thank u personally.”
no one expected that seokmin actually responded to your tweet and followed you back
he slides into your dm
you just found out how cute he is and how fun it is to talk with him and his cute broken english
“hello thank you for the compliments and if you are wondering who ate the tangerines, me and my roommates ate it for a week!”
“wow that is impressive! where do you learn peeling tangerines?”
okay the convo does sound like the dumbest thing ever but you find it lowkey cute
and it’s not rare for you two to interact on twitter or mentioning each other on videos after that incident
basically he is your internet bestfriends
since you are a beauty guru and korea is a country with lots of beauty things related, one make up company actually invites you over
offering a week trip to south korea
which you gladly accept, without even thinking much because you’re so excited to meet seokmin
even the subscribers are excited as well because they have been expecting collabs between you two
you are so nervous when you fly to south korea
seokmin already knew which hotel will you be staying so he said he’ll wait there when the staff of the make up company will be the one that picking you up
so there he is
standing
with a basket of tangerines and a bouquet of flowers
what an odd combination but you cannot help but feel that weird fuzzy feeling on your stomach and how his warm hug welcomes you, leaving a tingly feelings
“i can’t believe we actually meet!”
okay, seokmin admits, he actually crushing on you. even though he only has seen you through the screen of his computer
he always admires you and actually thinks how cute and beautiful you are
seokmin never misses your videos update even though he knows nothing about make up, he always watches your videos
so, you two made 2 videos together: “Seokmin’s Glam” and “I Teach My Bestfriend How to Peel Tangerines.”
those videos get so much responds because how funny it is and you two are bursting in chemistry
the fans love how seokmin casually put his arms around you trying to keep his “cool” up when everyone knows how his and your heart are beating so fast
when he guided your hand by putting his hand over yours
when you were touching his face more than you were supposed to
‘JUST DATE ALREADY’
‘MY OTP’
today is your last night in korea and seokmin decides to stay over in your hotel room because why not
you two have so much fun
eating late night snacks, watching movies and just cuddling. you two know if someone falls asleep, tommorow will come even faster
so you two stay awake
it is 4 am and the two of you are not in the right state of mind
“y/n..”
“yes?”
“i like you. a lot. you’re beautiful and hardworking, thoughtful and nice, you’re everything that i could ask for and seeing you and hanging out with you make me sure about my feelings for you.”
you’re sure, seokmin is half-asleep saying that so calmly because you know he is normally not that kind of person
but as soon as he got back to his sense, he is panicking. “w—wait don’t think too much about it! i was just— i.”
“it’s okay, i like you too.”
you confessed. turning your body to see his face clearly and you can see his tan skin is flushed with a pink tint on his cheeks. “i like you too, seokmin.”
“really? why? i’m not good looking.. or like, good at english or rich or—“
“i don’t need those. and boy, you’re the most handsome person i’ve ever seen why are you being like that to yourself?”
you two are the perfect match for each other
the next morning, you are late. hell, you’re so freaking late you almost cried because you know the ticket is expensive and you don’t want to be troublesome
but seokmin is lowkey hoping you miss the plane so you two can spend more time
which you ended up did
“WHY ARE YOU SMILLING SO BRIGHT?!”
“I’M NOT.”
told you, you two are such a perfect match for each other even without you two even realising
THANK YOU FOR READING ♡

Scoring Your Love (Part 4/?)
Modern AU where Killian is a world famous soccer star who has hit rock bottom and been sentenced to the place where ‘football’ legends go to die – America. While here he crosses paths with Emma, an up and coming musician and film scorer who challenges everything he thought he knew and makes him want more than the game he’s always loved. Will be filled with fluff for days, and eventually rated M.
Part One, Part Two, Part Three. Story also on FF here and AO3 here.
A/N: Hey everyone! So this chapter we are back to just an Emma POV but as I said before, the eventual reunion of Emma and Killian is coming and we will get a little taste of that here. We’re picking up a few days after the Oscars, though there will be some mention of it, and Emma and her friends have all collected for a special outing. Can anyone guess what that might be given the obvious breadcrumbs I’ve provided? I’m sure you can. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy and thanks so much for reading!
“So if you had to guess, what does one actually wear to a soccer game?” Ruby asked Emma from the doorway of their living room. “Is this like comfy casual, or is it like that time we went to the Lakers game and didn’t get the memo?”
“Oh God I hope not,” Emma replied, recalling the time one of Ruby’s many admirers had gifted her with four tickets to a professional basketball game only for the friends to be dressed in t-shirts and surrounded by women ready for the club. It was staggering to see, especially since every man there was in fan gear and couldn’t give less of a damn, but apparently sitting in the good seats at the Staples Center demanded more fabulocity than any of them realized. “Mary Margaret mentioned she’s wearing her jersey so I would assume it’s pretty normal.”
“Thank God,” Ruby exhaled with just a touch of drama. “I love a good excuse to dress up, but I think Sunday was enough glam for one week.”
Emma totally agreed with her there, thinking back to what was probably the biggest night of her career so far and the culture shock it had been. Not even forty-eight hours ago Emma and Ruby had been standing at the center of one of the glitziest nights of the Los Angeles year, the Academy Awards. It was the talk of the town and ‘everybody who was anybody’ was there. In some ways it had been fascinating, to see what kind of process went into making a show that would be watched by millions across the country, and even at the most trying of moments Emma had felt the honor of being nominated amongst some really impressive professionals. But in her heart Emma hadn’t been all that impressed and she certainly wouldn’t consider it a fun outing.
If anything the tiers of importance that this industry boasted had been too fully on display to ever feel really comfortable. There were the people who were deemed worthy, like the big time actors and directors, and then there were the others, people who had worked just as hard if not harder on their craft but who didn’t get the same kind of attention. Emma had born witness to that as the hours of the evening progressed, and though she never wanted the kind of fame that would come from those more public roles, Emma still felt the not so subtle tension. There was a complete lack of balance on display there, and that underlying strain was all the more awkward when everyone was dressed to the nines, networking and mingling, and drinking champagne for hours with no actual food provided by the venue.
From Emma’s estimation, most of the people in her particular field would agree with her assessment that award shows weren’t the most rewarding part of this work. No one entered the business of scoring movies for the prestige and fan adoration, but there had been one person at her table who loved every moment of the evening and that was Ruby. In that at least Emma had been fully content, because even if she felt kind of ridiculous sitting there, Ruby had made the evening as fun and enjoyable as she could. The commentary she’d let loose throughout the telecast and the rest of the awards was filled with her usual biting humor and Ruby also made friends very easily, breaking the ice for Emma and letting her feel far more at ease than she ever would have felt on her own.
“Honestly that was enough glam for a lifetime,” Emma replied and Ruby rolled her eyes at the thought, making Emma smile. Knowing her roommate there would be some other Hollywood event Emma was dragged to in the coming weeks that, while not so extravagant, would require a level of presentability above her normal attire. And though Emma feigned like it was torture, she’d still go to support Ruby no matter what because that was what best friends did.
“Clearly we have to find you some new hobbies like Mary Margaret’s. You would think this preview game was bigger than the Oscars she’s that freaking excited. I mean honestly, the way she makes it sound she had a better chance of winning the lottery than scoring these tickets.”
“Well whatever the chances were, one thing is for certain – she is going to kill us if we’re late and I’m not ready to face the wrath of Mary Margaret, are you?”
Emma’s question inspired Ruby to actually get moving, and luckily just the thought of their usually chipper friend’s anger and disappointment was enough to get them up and out of the apartment in a timely fashion. The universe appeared to be on their side the whole way there too since traffic was light and parking was blessedly easy to find, but it became more and more clear as Emma and Ruby made their way to the stadium that this wasn’t the boring, basic practice they were expecting. This place was packed with people and Emma for one was shocked given how little enthusiasm most people in America seemed to have for the sport.
“Jesus, this is actual mayhem,” Ruby said at one point as she scanned the crowds for Mary Margaret and their other friend Belle. “I’m actually kind of digging it.”
“Of course you are,” Emma replied with a smirk and a shake of her head. “You live for chaos.”
“Well yeah, I mean it makes for a great story, and what is an actress if not a storyteller?”
“What is she indeed,” Emma laughed before spotting her other friends across the way and pulling Ruby along with her. It took a bit of time, but once they were all united, Emma was happy for it and glad to see they still had sufficient time to get into the park and to their seats. She was also astonished at just how exuberant Mary Margaret was. Her friend was typically an excitable person, but she was practically buzzing with energy today and her smile was infectious, like watching a kid experience their first candy store or opening presents on Christmas.
“Emma! Ruby! You made it! Oh my gosh - I mean this is just so far beyond awesome. I can’t believe we’re really here. We are really here!”
“Has she been like this all morning?” Emma asked Belle after hugging her friends in greeting and Belle nodded.
“Oh yeah. It’s been a solid twenty four hours of sports references I do not understand and actual squeals of delight.”
“You’re kidding,” Emma said, looking back to Mary Margaret who was now chatting Ruby’s ear off as they headed through the gate after scanning their tickets and being admitted inside.
“Remember when the last Harry Potter book came out and I completely lost my cool?” Belle asked, reminding Emma of another enjoyable evening in the early years of their friendship as she nodded. “It’s been worse than that. She makes me look like a casual Rowling reader.”
“Wow. So we’re really in for something today, huh? It would help if I knew anything about soccer. They kick the ball into the net right?”
“Emma!” Mary Margaret chastised, having now started listening to the conversation and Emma laughed heartily at that.
“Mary Margaret I’m kidding. I know soccer, okay? At least enough to get by. Trust me, after all these years of being your friend I’ve picked up on some stuff.”
“Well that makes one of us,” Belle said with a sigh. “I swear all I’ve got at this point is ‘Killian Jones is the best player in the world,’ and that’s because I heard it on repeat almost nonstop for the past month.”
Emma found herself stumbling a bit at the mention of the team’s star player, not because there was anything obstructing her path, but because that name meant something to her. Killian – now how common a name could that really be? She’d never met someone with the name before that she could recall, but only the other day she’d run into someone – someone who had made Emma feel something she hadn’t felt in a long time – and he too was named Killian. It felt like a very small world all of a sudden, but Emma shook it off, knowing rationally that there was no chance in hell they would ever be the same guy. Soccer stars, and international ones at that, did not gallivant around LA in leather jackets and shades. They just didn’t… right?
“You joke Belle, but you’re all going to see exactly what I mean once this game starts,” Mary Margaret said after finding their seats, which were surprisingly fantastic, and leading them all into the stands. “We already had a good team, a strong showing for the MLS, but with Jones… there will be no stopping us and maybe we’ll actually win a damn tournament for once!”
“Aren’t there only like twenty American teams? How bad can they really be?” Emma asked. “Also didn’t they just win that tournament thingy a few years ago?”
“Yeah but that was just the MLS cup. There’s international rankings we never qualify for and… really when you think about it anything but being number one is less than the best,” Mary Margaret said casually. “And they could be the best.”
“God I love when you get crazy competitive,” Ruby said with a genuine sense of happiness. “It means we get to scream our heads off all game and be totally nuts. It’ll also help me prep for that audition I’m doing next week. I’m supposed to be a jilted lover and I mean rage is rage right?”
“Oh yeah,” Emma agreed. “Just wait for a ref to give a bad call and Mary Margaret will give you all the character notes you need.”
Soon thereafter the stadium began to get more active. The people in charge of getting the place ready came out as practice prep began, but Emma was content to chat with her friends as Mary Margaret randomly threw in statistics here and there about assists and scoring and defensive tackles. It mostly went in one ear and out the other for Emma, but then something shifted and Mary Margaret was totally animated again.
“Oh my god, here they come!”
The friends turned in the direction of the tunnel through which the teams were exiting, and Emma noted the clear athleticism on display here. Soccer players might not be as big and bulky as football or hockey players, but Emma knew once this game started they’d be sprinting all over the place and playing to impress. No one got to this level, American league or not, and didn’t have talent and she was excited to see that even if she didn’t have nearly as much invested in this as Mary Margaret. As she scanned the oncoming players though, one particular man on the field caught her eye and her heart clenched tightly in her chest in the moment just before recognition set in.
Holy shit that’s him! That’s Killian! Emma thought to herself as her body flooded with a newfound sense of anticipation. Her hands began to shake and her pulse picked up its pace as she stood there, taking in a man who was little more than a stranger but who Emma hadn’t been able to forget since the moment they met. Out here on the field he looked different than he had on the street, but the uniform didn’t do anything to undermine his appeal. If anything Emma was more aware of how handsome he was now, noting the way that he appeared natural and at ease even with the eyes of thousands of people watching him right now.
“I can’t believe it’s really him!” Mary Margaret yelped as she grabbed Emma’s hand. “Killian Jones in the flesh. Can you believe it?”
“I can’t,” Emma whispered, and she meant it to. She hadn’t imagined it possible, but there was no denying it now, her Killian and the Killian Jones of international soccer renown were the same person. Well no wonder he’d thought a date with him was God’s gift – he’d probably never been turned down in his life. His good looks alone were enough to tempt anybody, but throw in the money and the fame and… well let’s just say Emma could understand that level of cockiness he’d tossed her way before.
“Mm, Mm, Mm. Those pictures do not do that man justice. He is h-o-t hot!” Ruby said with a wolfish grin. “But to be fair, they’re all hot.”
“Yeah they are,” Belle agreed. “You should have told us Mary Margaret! I would have been watching soccer with you way sooner if I’d known.”
Mary Margaret harrumphed at the joke and instead changed the subject to the game ahead and the stakes before them. They were playing one of their top rivals in the league, and apparently that was important because of blah blah blah, but try as she might Emma couldn’t pay attention. In fact, she couldn’t even seem to tear her gaze away from the field. She was instead watching Killian and trying to wrap her brain around how this was really happening. How had she flirted and ultimately turned down a guy like this without knowing? And why did she feel in her gut right now (and pretty much ever since the incident) that she wished things had gone differently than they had?
At that very moment something even more remarkable than his being there happened. As if she’s summoned him with her thoughts, Killian turned in her direction, and even though she was in a sea of people, she knew that he saw her. Their gazes caught and here she was all over again getting sucked into the mysterious force from this man that called to her. She felt exposed like this, as if he could see her fully, past all the walls and guards she put up to the world, but somehow she wasn’t afraid of it. Because the look in his blue eyes right now wasn’t arrogant or resentful – it was earnest and kind. He seemed softer now, but that intensity remained and Emma was drawn to it, wanting this strange sort of reunion to be happening anywhere else where they could actually do something more than look at one another in shock and wonder.
“Emma, are you okay?” Ruby asked, pulling Emma’s attention from the field and Emma looked over at Ruby, trying to put on a poker face, but through some sort of best friend ESP, and through looking in the direction Emma had been staring, Ruby made the connection of what Emma was going through. “Wait, that’s Killian?! Your Killian? The guy you-,”
“Yes, Ruby, that’s him,” Emma said, interrupting what would no doubt be lengthy commentary about Emma’s confession to her friends about the interaction she and Killian had on the street.
“No wonder you’ve been all moody and quiet. How did you possibly turn him down?” her friend asked, pretending to fan herself as she glanced back at the field.
“He was an ass. Totally full of himself, arrogant, basically everything wrong with men,” Emma said, but even as the words floated out into the air she felt a twinge of doubt.
Had he really been that bad? Or had he been flirting with her and just chosen the wrong thing to say? Lord knew she’d been called overly sensitive a time or two, but she’d never given that criticism any thought. Now though she wondered at her own actions and that instinct to judge and write him off. Excessive cockiness or not that spark was still there. Even all the way across this field Emma felt wrapped up in just the sight of him, and that look in his eye that he kept sending her way… well it was clear his interest hadn’t dried up at all.
“Well Ems, he’s rich, famous, and hot. Given those qualifications, when is the last time you think a woman said no to him?”
“Never,” all the friends agreed at the same time.
“Still that’s no excuse,” Emma said, sticking firm to the belief that guys who showed colors like that were best avoided given her track record.
“No, it’s not,” Mary Margaret acknowledged. “But maybe you caught him on a bad day or something?”
Emma could hear her friend trying to be positive about what was likely totally typical behavior for this man. Despite what he made her feel, Killian Jones was a player, at least if the little she’d listened to was true. Ruby had hit the nail on the head with all those aspects of him that would appeal to people, but their meeting indicated that he had a sense of entitlement because of it that Emma couldn’t stand. Still even at his worst Emma had this niggling sense that she wasn’t seeing him fully. It hadn’t felt right that he acted that way given the start of their conversation, and though her sort of superpower usually only extended to telling if someone was lying, she hadn’t been able to shake the idea that there was more to Killian than a lot of hot air and sweet nothings. It was those eyes of his – they’d conveyed something to her that made her heart skip and butterflies appear out of nowhere. It was totally terrifying, but at the beginning of their interlude she’d been brave enough to stay, because scary as it was it also felt so incredibly promising.
“Doesn’t matter now,” Emma said resolutely after shaking her head. “Because it was a one time thing.”
“You keep telling yourself that, girl.” Ruby taunted playfully as Emma ripped her eyes back from the field and turned towards her friends who all looked pleased as punch at having just witnessed her overt ogling of the pride and joy of the LA Galaxy. “Damn this is going to be so good. There’s no way he’s letting you go now.”
Emma tried to shake that comment off, but as the game began and Emma watched the match with rapt attention she had to say she agreed with Ruby’s assessment. Try as she might to deny Killian’s lingering interest, there was more than a couple of too-long glances in her direction cast during the game, and every time their gazes met Emma could feel the plea behind his look. She honestly swore she could hear his voice in her head it was so clear:
Just give me one more chance, love. I swear you won’t regret it.
And funnily enough Emma didn’t think she would. She just had to figure out when to tell him as much, and with her scheming friends at her side, she was pretty assured that an opportunity would present itself if only she were patient.
Post-Note: Okay so I know it’s not fair to kind of leave this dangling as is, but what can I say? I’ve been missing these shorter chapter story styles and given my current lack of ability to write it seems like the safest bet to getting the story out there at a regular pace. Not to worry though – next chapter we’ll pick up right here only from Killian’s point of view. You can expect an actual meeting then and I’ll be giving Killian his second chance at making a better impression with his Swan. Expect the fluff to come and then we’ll get to the cuteness of dating and all that fun stuff. Anyway hope you guys liked it chapter and let me know what you thought!

MSA(and SD) Flame Types
(Because I am weak for KHR okay)
Alright then! Let’s do this! From oldest to youngest I guess. Also this is half character breakdown, half of me just messing around. As always though, this is heavily headcanon based, so if you disagree then you don’t have to follow along with these ideas and can just decide for yourself on what they fit.
That said, I’m not including Mystery, Galaham or Scooby in this list because they’re... well not exactly humans. Also, I just kind of feel weird about it... But you can assume that Scooby and Galaham at least follow Shaggy and Arthur regarding their flames, because familiars!
Mystery might end up getting his own post to explain him later on, because Kitsune... Anyway! Let’s do this thing!
Now, before I actually begin this thing there is something I should probably say about this. It’s both based on their personalities, but also, slightly on their associated colours... and well, as a result some of them may feel incredibly obvious considering how I have chosen them... but at the same time, some of them may confuse people because uh, how did I possibly come to that conclusion... also to be thorough, I will be explaining the Primary flame mostly, with a small sub-note for potential Secondary/Tertiary flames where they feel necessary... as a result you people will be getting quite a bit of a rundown... also this is just for fun, and just my interpretation of things and you’re allowed to have your own opinion and even point out any flaws in the logic that I have used to determine flame compatibility...
You know beyond the obvious colour =/= exclusive to a flame... but you know... this will be fun.
Vivi Yukino:
First up, everyone’s favourite blue babe!
So, initially my impulse with Vivi was actually to label her as a Storm, which considering she’s blue might be a bit weird to think about, but uh... it kind of made sense considering Storms are Determination... and there is no pretending that Vivi isn’t determined... but at the same time, it doesn’t quite fit. Despite my initial impulse, I pushed that aside and actually considered Vivi. Now for the most part the fandom tends to uh, not exactly put as much focus on her as they could, I guess that’s the fault of the general way that the plot gets laid out... I mean what with Lewis and Arthur being tangled in the whole mess left from the cave, her missing memories, and then Mystery with Shiromori and whatever is happening there...
But anyway, back to the point, what is Vivi’s role? The leader! She’s the one at the helm. Dragging the boys along with her, whether they want her to or not... and I know the sterotype is Leader=Sky, but no. No, let’s not go there, and also it’s not quite right for Vivi... I mean it’s fitting in a thematic sense I guess... but not really. So let’s keep considering, Vivi is the one who plans things, she’s the one who finds the mysteries for them to solve, and well, I guess she has the background to know about how this all works as well... but that said, Vivi is also the most “level” I guess of the team.
She’s reliable.
Loyal, she Perseveres, Devoted, she definitely cares for her team, and oh yeah, she definitely has Integrity.
No doubt regarding those things. No doubt at all. And what does this all add up to? Well, she’s a Rain.
Also, just as a final note, I was in no way influenced to this judgement by the fact that best Rain Takeshi plays baseball and Vivi wields a bat... not at all!
But anyway, Vivi’s a rain, with the blue flames, and the ability to tranquilize others. Something that I’m sure would be useful in the business that she has chosen to take up... also, notably, the reliability that she has that clinched my decision... I think that’s the reason that she’s the leader. They know that they can rely on her, they can count on her. And isn’t that the thing you want your leader to be more than anything else? Reliable...
Secondary flame: Storm.
Lewis Pepper:
(I’m aware that Arthur’s canonically the elder of the two of them, but shh, I am sticking with my original headcanon!)
Mist!
No but seriously, can we just appreciate how much of a showman Lewis is for one second. Like seriously. All the glim and glam for his mansion, not even mentioning the little touches that he adds to things in Freaking Out and just... Lewis stop, stop it! But seriously, he’s fantastic and it’s so obvious I don’t really have to think that much about this, since he’s just... so much of a mist. Not to mention he fits the more mysterious parts of the “stereotypical” mist as well. What with his mysterious past... I mean just seriously.
Dramatic showmanship and just that flare. Lewis is definitely a mist, no one can argue that point okay! No one!
...
Okay, I should probably explain just a little bit more about this before people start grumbling and asking exactly why I didn’t jump to Cloud. And aside the colour association... Lewis just doesn’t feel all that much like a Cloud... not really... I mean, then again, he could kind of be like Skull, a whole lot of showmanship and bark, but still... Mists are Visionary, and Clouds are Independent. So what does this mean in regards to Lewis... well here’s the thing, Lewis works with his family, Pepper Paradiso. He works there, and well also, let’s have a quick look at those traits between the two... All of them, positive and negative...
Indigo: Integrity, sincerity, structure, regulations, responsible, idealism, intuition, visionary, faith, devotion, truth, and selflessness. Fanatical, judgmental, intolerant, impractical, inconsiderate, depression, fearful, conformative, bigoted, avoidant
Purple: Individual, unusual, creative, inventive, selfless, psychic, intuitive, mystery, selfless, future, and fantasy. Immature, impractical, aloof, cynical, pompous, arrogant, corrupt, and delusions of grandeur
I mean, I suppose you could argue either way but... my headcanon definitely leans more towards the indigo side of things... Especially with the way that he reacted upon rising up from the dead... Oh boy was he immediately judgemental, somewhat inconsiderate to... I mean think about it... Also can’t say he might not be scared... and he’s possibly avoiding thinking too much about previous events... as for indigo positives. Think about the kind of family he comes from, what with think about the Peppers as a whole. Also on that note, yes, Lewis is selfless, he’s honest(tells the truth), seemed kind of like an idealist before his death, was the “Mom friend” and all the evidence seems to point to the fact he was devoted to Vivi, and definitely devoted to his family... so yeah...
Primary Mist...
(Also just look at all the flare, and the way he casually does things like summon lampposts to make the fight more dramatic facing off against Shiro!)
Secondary: Cloud
Arthur Kingsmen:
...
Now I kind of automatically want to go with Author Appeal here, go with my first impulse of Sky-Arthur... but I know that there will be someone who comes in all high and mighty talking about how Arthur is obviously a Sun... So I’m going to pre-empt that and talk about this... Again I could go with colour psychology... but actually I don’t think that’s necessary...
Instead, let’s talk about the role both kind of have in a group, the Sky is home, or rather the Sky is the “glue” of the group. And in KHR, that traditionally means that they are the leader... and Skies are all about acceptance... which again, as I pointed out in a prior breakdown, is a two-way street. Acceptance isn’t something that’s fully experienced unless it’s flowing from both... I mean, you can still accept someone without them accepting you, but it’s not quite as nice...
As for the Sun... Uh... mostly support? I mean, the Sun seems to be traditionally the healer. Also somewhat self-sacrificing, using themselves and their bodies to protect the group... Which okay, that fits I guess... but there is one other thing, the Sun is Energy. Mental or Physical, mind or body... which well, that’s something I guess... but ultimately...
I have to go with Arthur being a Sky... and it’s because of the glue thing... there’s just something about the way that the group is... and Arthur truly is the glue. He’s the one who keeps the group working if you think about it... and not just because he’s the mechanic making sure that the Scare-A-Van runs and works so that they can get to wherever the mystery really is... but because he does at least try to stop them from running right into things... even if he’s probably just as curious about things at times. He at least wants to play it safe...
I mean, generally that’s what people go with. He enjoys a good mystery, but would much prefer it if he wasn’t dragged into danger... And he wants the others to stay safe as well, to keep from running headlong into a ridiculously dangerous situation and getting hurt... One of my favourite little discussion/drabble pieces is this one, because well... think about it okay! Think about it...
Now as for the other traits associated with the bright orange of Sky flames well.. Communication, adventurous and funnily enough, optimism along with agreeableness... I might be weird about this, but I do view Arthur as an optimistic person, he might be the first to see how a situation could go wrong and have a generally pessimistic(which haha, pessimism is also an orange trait) of how a situation could go... but he also forces himself to look on the bright side and trust that things will get better. That his friends will come and save him when he gets in trouble, and that a solution can and will be found. Also you can’t argue about him being unadventurous without running into the wall of him still going on cases you know...
Communication, and agreeableness, maybe a bit weird, but Arthur knows social-foo, like any good introvert dragged into conversations. Also, I kind of think of him being good at debating things... because well you know. He’s probably had to before. But yeah.
Arthur’s a Sky, end of.
Secondary: Sun(Because that’s obvious you know).
Now, for the funnest part of this breakdown...
The other crossover, because you know what. I kind of lump them together because well, yeah. I mean, for crying out loud, I use the same tag for both of them, THybrid MSA... partially because it was sort of used first... but also because getting into MSA dragged me back into the whole Meddling Kids fandom... which yeah, aside Scooby Doo, this does count a few other series that I have been rewatching, and generally counting as part of the same continuity... Which yeah... So anyway, that’s why I keep the tag, among other reasons... I am debating changing it to something more fitting though, like THybrid Meddles, but eh...
I think I’ll keep my current tag, since it’s already been established... But who knows... I do have the tag replacer, and it’s only the matter of a small change...
That said, time for Mystery Inc. to get their flames talked about and explained.
Again, some will seem kind of obvious because of colour association, but I will be explaining it... since yeah...
Fredrick “Fred” Jones:
Alright, so Fred was actually the single hardest member to characterize. That’s mainly because with the way he is, I kind of initially went with Rain and didn’t think about it. But since I was keeping myself to a minor rule, Rain didn’t work. So I came back and actually thought about it... and thought, and thought. And the initial conclusion after all that thinking was that Fred is kind of bland and hard to figure out...
I mean, there’s a reason for that, but there is also a reason I initially went with Rain and was done... because it’s the simple solution and Fred being reliable wasn’t something that people could say was wrong... but it’s not right. Mostly because of a personal rule I set while working on this, but also because for all that Fred’s reliable, it’s not really central to him, and if we are associating Fred with blue, then he becomes a bit too passive... which yeah...
So what was the conclusion that I came to after eliminating Rain? Well, Sun.
Now wait a minute, I’m sure that there are some of you now staring at your screens and going what? But yeah, remember that I have a headcanon, Autism, Fred’s Autistic, at least to me. And energy is the thing that goes with Suns. Mental or Physical... and honestly Fred does show both, at least slightly... But anyway, my Autism Headcanon lead me to this, because his special interest is mainly Traps, and have you seen the traps he sets up? Even when they’re just the classic net, he’s good at them. Also aside traps, he definitely has at least a partial special interest in mysteries. I mean he’s the leader and all.
Honestly while he can be a bit scattered, he’s trying. And he is able to link things together when he gets all the pieces, and he thinks. Also, one of my favourite moments, the entire Beach Beastie movie. Like just seriously, I mean sure Fred’s kind of freaking out for a period of it, but well... Can’t say I blame him for that... I mean I know what it’s like to try and deny a special interest, it’s hard, and can be kind of painful on a mental level... Maybe not quite as bad as Fred was throughout the whole thing, but still... I feel it.
Also, on energy, there are two separate occasions that Fred plays vollyball against himself, at least that I can find and remember. (One of which I got help fully recalling, thanks @phantoms-lair!). She Sees Sea Monsters by the Seashore and Reef Grief!
Tumblr media
(She Sees Sea Monsters by the Seashore)
Tumblr media
(Reef Grief)
Just... Energy to spare. Also, just wow! I kind of also think of this as a kind of Autism thing as well... because I’ve done some, similar things myself. It’s complicated... But anyway, yeah, Fred has energy to spare. Mental is obvious with the focus on his traps, the mysteries that they hunt out and solve, and I guess a little bit dedicated to the Mystery Machine... and Physical... well he likes getting out an about. And oh yeah, Fred definitely fits the other associations with yellow.
I mean seriously, he does. Maybe that’s also why he’s kind of bland most of the time... aside him being somewhat generically the ‘leader’ and well, a bit of a distracted easy-going oblivious nerd. He’s a precious boy.
He’s a sunny boy. So Fred’s a Sun.
Secondary: Rain.
Shaggy:
Author appeal makes me say sky!
Haha, but seriously. Shaggy actually does fit his colour in a weird way. So Lightning Shaggy, let’s talk about this.
I mean, obviously Shaggy isn’t really one who desires much. Not really, I mean he doesn’t have a real ambition according to the profiles. And he doesn’t really have any real goals in the show either... and yet. Yet! There is definitely a desire there. A good time with friends, to be safe and out of danger, and quite possibly to try every kind of food that he can. You know? Also, the desire to protect his friends is most definitely there, and not something that can be hidden.
"To draw damage to himself and away from the rest of the Family, serving as a lightning rod."
"The lightning; one that harshly strikes everything"
Those two quotes are both used in reference to characters who use Lightning Flames, in reference to the role that they take... and while the latter is not something that fits... the former definitely rings of Shaggy. I mean if there is one thing that Shaggy’s mostly consistent with it’s how willing he is to protect his friends, even if it puts him in some danger... I mean, it’s subtle, but you can kind of get the feeling that he would prefer to be the bait rather than anyone else. At least he knows he can deal with it.
Also, the things that I think really support this. Goblin King, Reluctant Werewolf, and Ghoul School... maybe not obvious, but they do have points. Also maybe I would add Phantosaur, although “Brave Shaggy” shows more about how he is more focused on protection than anything else...
But anyway... Guess that doesn’t really explain it. So yeah.
Okay, I suppose my biggest argument. Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue... I know, I know, generally that series isn’t counted in regular continuity... but I actually happen to like the series, and have a really, really big soft spot for it, because it was one of my first experiences with the series... and let me tell you. Shaggy in that series, shows his strengths when on his own... and yeah, he has desires that he shows... also my little idea of him using his mechanic skills to kit out the Mystery Machine... since he only mentions buying the extra stuff, not hiring anyone to do it... and Shaggy is smart like that.
But anyway...
Secondary: Sky(because gosh darn it, I am weak for the appeal of this, and Shaggy is the heart of the team, so there!)
Daphne Blake:
Cloud.
Just, Cloud.
Also, Daphne being such a cloud, is the main reason I didn’t go with Cloud for Lewis even if he is one... because seriously. S E R I O U S L Y! Seriously, Daphne is a Cloud, not ifs, buts or ors about it. Daphne is the independent cloud striking out on her own and refusing to be chained down. Now I’m sure that some of you will be going what, or how but here’s the thing. Daphne was always my favourite character growing up... and I was exposed to a mixture of Where Are You, What’s New and Scooby and Scrappy growing up, all mixed together... (there was also Get a Clue but that’s another story...) So yeah.
Also, Daphne is not just a pretty face, she’s stubborn, she’s bold, and of course she is the Team Mom, she’s the one who figures things out and finds the solution to problems... and also, she is a good feminine role model. Not scared to be a feminine girl, using her strengths regarding beauty products and the like to solve problems... and not caring about the whole what’s typical or anything about it.
And that’s awesome.
She takes nothing, well mostly. But yeah, Daphne is a Cloud, and she’s awesome for it!
Velma Dinkley:
Well, there’s only one flame left to dish out...
Storm.
Determination.
Freaking hell, I’m sure there are some who’re like really? But yeah, Velma’s the storm. And I can’t even explain everything, but yeah. Velma’s the science kid, and she’s arguably the most determined member of the gang. Arguably... I mean generally this was more by process of it being the only one left, but it does make sense.
I mean, for one thing in Franken-Creepy while she was a bit... uh insane she was ready to do anything to prove what she thought was real. Same in other situations. Once Velma has decided on something, she’s determined to do it. Determined to see it through to the end... and that’s not something that you can just brush off to the side.
Also, she dives into her research with a single minded determination that I can just appreciate... but yeah.
Secondary: Sun
Again, this is only my headcanon, and my interpretation of the characters, and if you disagree that is fine and I am perfectly down for hearing other opinions... also as a quick rundown of all the characters, here’s a bullet point list explaining them, and their flames with them labelled as Primary-Secondary just without the big long explanation to go with them...
Vivi: Rain-Storm
Lewis: Mist-Cloud
Arthur: Sky-Sun
Fred: Sun-Rain
Shaggy: Lightning-Sky
Daphne: Cloud-Mist
Velma: Storm-Sun
Also yeah, it’s just my opinion and feel free to correct me where you wish, because I am always up for hearing interpretations.

Fatherly...advice?
Got a DM from my Dear ol Dad that read as follows:
"I know it's your life but PLEase Donot post any pictures of you in make up or wigs etc it just freaks me out and i can handle alot but this no way -alot thank you -in my Facebook timeline Dad-$140 for he man stuff i see enjoy"
To be followed up with
"or videos of you walking in make up and wig, etc."
Keep in mind, I'm a grown ass adult. I promptly ignored the ridiculous message and unfriended him but I don't have the heart to block him. No matter how uneasy I make him feel.
This just irks me. Number one, he thinks I'm sending these posts directly to his profile. Which is absolute Bullock's ! He's a "man of a certain age" therefore he has no idea what the "unfollow" button is, no matter how many times I explain it to him. That and the phrase, "I know it's your life but..." pisses me the fuck off.
He's so belligerently ignorant and he's so stuck on the LGBT etc stereotype perpetuated by Hollywood and the MSM in the 70s, 80s and 90s that he totally thinks I'm the "worst kind" of Homosexual and I'm sure he thinks I'm on drugs, having all sorts of unprotected sex and eventually that I will end up with AIDs.
The fact is that I'm the proverbial "social butterfly". I surround myself with an extremely excellent group of diverse, like minded friends in the Boston scene and they will never do me wrong. I just get all glammed when I go out, drink, dance and order a Lyft back. I'm having a blast and being safe. I'm not harming anything but his fragile "guido-bro" ego and his toxic masculinity.
***For your information, yes, he still wears tight A- shirts and tank tops to show off his "guns" during the Summer. I still think he has the gold horn necklace too. However I mention NOTHING whenever he posts what I deem "embarrassing" content! He's comfortable in his skin, and that's great! So why does he find it inappropriate for me to find comfort in my own? Thus, dictating to me what I should and shouldn't put on Facebook, Twitter, Insta, etc?***
I know I'm not the son he wanted. He wanted me to be a carbon copy from the getgo. So much so he wanted me to be a "Junior". (My Mum had none of that, by the way). I'm not an athlete or a body builder or a ladies man. Never have been. Never will be. Much to his chagrin.
I'm more or less a sensitive, empathetic, liberal, and artistic individual that is in tune with the femininity of things. I'm self expressive, neon, loud with a penchant for 80s music. If I die it better be on a dance floor or a stage.
I do love my Dad. No matter how bigoted and inept he is. Even the fact he voted for the orange buffoon in 2016, I still can't hate him. He's blood.
I admit, he spoiled me as a kid. He got me a dog (who had the same limp as I). So I know there has to be at least somewhat of a soft heart beneath the rough exterior. There were the pool parties and cook outs during the Summer. The movies he had taped off of cable gave facilitated my love for Star Wars, Trek, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Time Bandits and heck even Krull. He, and my late Step Mom, even sat me in front of MTV. (and boy did I get all giddy when "West End Girls" came on!). It was all probably just to keep me occupied, but still. That is the reason why geekdom runs that deep, nowadays.
Hell, even my adoration for *He-Man came from him buying the action figures, vehicles and playsets for gifts of awesome Christmas' and birthdays past! There were Pool parties. Cook outs. By GAWD we even had Super Mario 3 in the garage one year!!!
***Oh, and about the He Man thing? I bought the collection of four via preorder (with MY tax money). This particular set of action figures is based on the 1987 MOTU movie! The reason behind the purchase is simply because I've been waiting for these variations to be released since that flick was released!!! (The Langella Skeletors look AMAZING, by the way). I maybe over forty but trust me nostalgia is one hell of a drug. ***
However, he always was a helicopter parent. He still watches me eat whenever I'm home, because I choked on a piece of steak...ONCE!
He never let's me help with technology nor wants me touching anything because I would "break it". Just two years ago he wouldn't let me touch the DVD player because it wasn't playing the disc properly. (I'm in my 40s now btw and definitely can figure out and handle a simple task such as that).
Apparently, he also has a file on me. My Mother and my Mother's past employers. Including newspaper clippings and what not. I'm sure my Dad has some sort of mental disorder.
I don't even know why I'm venting so much on here. Nor do I know why I chase his love and acceptance when clearly he doesn't have the balls to be happy for me for living my life and my truth. My Dad is the epitome of "Ye of little faith". He's the reason I always doubt myself and my abilities whenever I think about getting back into acting, doing comedy or to just do my day job. His voice comes up in my brain and says "You can't do that." Oh well. I apologise if the structure of this blog is semi incoherent. I just needed to let loose to anyone who would listen.
Thank you all for reading! <3

Below-freezing temperatures and bulky outerwear can make winter...
Tumblr media
